This is an alternate universe, a dark/heroic fantasy world, largely medieval but with teslapunk elements, where ponies try to survive in a world corrupted by evil, where heroes serve as a beacon of light in the darkness.

But this particular story is not about a valliant knight or wise mage, but a shadowy batpony killer of monsters. In this world, batpony hunters are the most ruthless of all warriors when fighting evil. At their core is one creed - all forms of evil, and all enemies to ponykind, must die.

And if the target is a batpony hunter's own sister? All the more reason to journey through hell to claim his mark. Treachery is, after all, unforgivable.
