God, I'm tired.
Jack is a human and survivor of a cataclysm on Earth. He survived that fallen world for six years before he was lost into The Abyss.
I don't understand what they're saying.
The Abyss is a void that spans reality. It touches every plane of existence, every universe. Some scholars and mages have suggested trans-dimensional travel is possible, should the Abyss be utilized for such purposes.
I just want to go home.
These theorists understand nothing about the sheer destructive power of the Abyss. The Abyss does not, was not, will not and is not. It has never been, never will be, and the same can be said of anything that enters the Abyss.
I wish I knew where that was.
Though it seems those theories hold some credit after all, for in a magic-scarred world ruled chance and chaos, the man Jack is flung through the Abyss and arrives in Equestria.
And this lavender one just refuses to be quiet.
One must believe in bad luck or bad karma, because Twilight Sparkle was chosen to be the unicorn deemed appropriate to study and supervise this foreign creature's introduction to Equestrian society.
