I sat in my chair as I bounced a ball off the wall and into my yellow leathery wings. I'm Bonebeat the bat pony. I currently work in Pinkie Pie Fright to make sure I don't get sued for not finishing my hours. I have yellow fur, cat-like eyes, and I keep a red jacket on. I had a purple security hat on top of my brown hair, but it's cool. I kind of match this place in a way. I hear ringing from the phone and pick it up to hear a familiar raspy voice. "Hey dude! So, I hear you're working again?"

"Rainbow Dash? What're you doing here?" I ask.

"Well, I am also sued for not really getting my hours filled out as well, I flunked out in the fourth night mid way. You the same?" She asks, a sound of interest in her voice.

"Yep, except this time I have no robots to worry about, and I have a mare friend at home to get to," I reply, smiling to myself a little.

"That's cool, I should probably start blabbing on about how everything works, ahem. So on your right is your camera, as you know, and it has two settings," she explained. I pressed on toggle map and it switches to vents. I nodded. "Now, if you double tap the vents, it should seal so the guests won't be going through it, but it deals one at a time though," she continues.

"I'd bet that no one wants to though," I say.

"Now on the left is your door and your reboot system, make sure to reboot anything so that it doesn't catch on fire, heheheheh."

It wasn't really funny, but I laugh a little. "Seriously though, reboot it so it won't catch on fire," she said seriously. I drop my smile and gulped. "Now, sometimes you have to watch the vents carefully because if you get too hot in there, you'll see some weird crap dude," Rainbow finishes. I nod to myself.

"Okay, I get that, but why do I really need these cameras?" I ask. In reality, I'm not complaining, just curious.

"You know, to keep an eye on ponies so they don't make out in the corner or something, now are there any questions?" Rainbow asks.

"Nope, other than how will this thing go any faster," I say bluntly. I hear laughter on the other end.

"Well, you know the number, so just call the phone mare when ya need me," she says. Before I hang up she startles me by yelling, "Oh wait before I forget!" I put my hoof back on the cameras. "Me and some other ponies are excavating the old place, so I'm gonna tell you all about it tomorrow!" She said before hanging up. I sighed. Alone again. I keep bouncing the ball for an hour before looking at the clock. It was about four AM so I decided to get up and walk around. I walk out the door and into the dark, crappy yellow hallway. I feel a little disturbance as I look at the Pinkie head next to me on a clothes rack. I walk a little forward and see my swivel seat in the office. I mouth the words 'I'll be back Swivly' before continuing onward. The checkered walls pass me as I move to look around. I stop in front of an arcade machine and sighed at how fake it was. Can't play anything on it. I stopped to raise an eyebrow when I notice a newspaper on the floor. I pick it up with my wing to read.

Flash News!

A massacre of ponies revealed in Pinkie Pizzaria! The name's of the following are: Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie. These five used to be grown, but an unknown magical source was used on them to grow backwards in an accelerated rate. The only survivor of the Elements of Harmony: Rainbow Dash is safe, and suspected of these murders. Her lawyers insist she was defending herself from the attacker.

The rest was blotted out by what I assume is ink. I had a quizzical look before putting it under my hat. I continue walking forward to the hallway lit by the Fluttershy head. I shudder in the remember wife of the article and tried not to imagine the decapitated head being real. I keep walking until I get to the exit. The exit sign glows red in the vinyl and does little to no help lighting the hallway. I look at my watch to jump a little to see it is five AM. I turn around and head back, and while I was walking back I found the apparently fake arcade machines to be real and active. One was showing the three main robots: Pinkie, Rarity and Fluttershy standing on stage. I move the joy stick to make the Pinkie one move. It moves and I catch a glimpse of something shadowy on the right. It disappears, leaving the text 'follow me' on the left. I smirked and went the opposite way, surprisingly worked. I went to Pirate's Cove, expecting to see the Rainbow Dash bot there. Instead, an Applejack robot was there. I tried to rack my head to remember it being there, but I don't. I sighed and continued onward. I then, surprisingly found the character in the office. I tilt my head, wondering why it was there for children to see. Then, I saw something that made my heart stop for a little bit. On the bottom, it says 'Follow me Bonebeat.' I freaked out and complied. I headed to where the shadowy thing was and always saw just a glimpse. When I was where I presumed the exit is, I stopped at the top as the bottom said 'ERROR' in red. I groaned and started to go back to stage when the game scared me by a blue Pegasus coming out and tearing my character apart. It then went blank before I got a good look. I look at the other arcade machine still on and saw a little minivans with Balloon Spike in it. I shifted to that one and started playing. I think I broke the game in the end because when I did something other than head towards the exit door, it crashed. I sighed before I heard the morning bells toil and I headed out back to my hut. On the way, I bumped into Violet Pastel, my marefriend, and had a chat. "Hi Pastel! How're you?" I ask.

"I'm great, what's with the hat?" She asks. I smirk and did a small pose.

"I am the dashing night guard in Pinkie Frights," I mockingly say, getting a chuckle from her.

"Funny, why?" She asks.

"Well, I didn't finish the first place so I have to do this," I say. She nods. "Oh! Speaking of the first place!" I say. I reach to get the article under my hat to find nothing there. I gasp slightly and just scratched my head. "Do you know what happened over there?" I ask quickly. Pastel's smile dropped.

"You haven't heard? The place was shut down. I heard that there was a murderer working there, but it was just a rumor," she says.

"Uh huh, was there an Applejack robot ever there?" I ask. She tilts her head in thought.

"... I think there was, but it was supposedly replaced with the Rainbow Dash one after someone tampered with it. It was too broken to fix. So, they instantly replaced it with a Rainbow Dash one," she explained. "How did you hear about the Applejack one? Barely anypony remembers it," she says. I shrug.

"I read up some stuff in the library. Anyway, I'm going back to my house, later," I say hurriedly, trotting in a fast pace back to my hut. Pastel looks at me weirdly before continuing on her way.
