Equestrian Legends

No chronicle of legends is complete without a tale of the two goddesses who protect our world Celestia and Luna. This story takes place long ago before they were goddesses in the time long since forgotten.

Long ago after the Harmony Knights fought and died for Equestria two sisters were born the eldest Celestia was a tall fair skinned girl with long pink hair that reach her hips and beautiful amethyst eyes that sparkled in the sunlight. The younger Luna was smaller than her sister but possessed similar beauty with pale skin short cyan blue hair that rested on her shoulders and deep ocean blue  eyes that twinkled like the stars in the night sky.

Over the years the two sisters ruled over Equestria with kindness and compassion the sisters were beloved by all, then Discord showed up a creature of pure chaos he plunged Equestria into a state of eternal chaos. With this new threat the princesses took up arms and challenge the creature but he quickly defeated them and banished them to the Everfree Forest it was here the sisters stumbled across the site of the Tree of Harmony that they heard about from stories told to them by their mother.

But when they touched the Tree of Harmony it sent them into a separate dimension where they came face to face with a young girl whose eyes shone like embers in a fire, and hair that waved with magic. when she spoke it was like honey for the ears she introduced herself simply as the Guardian and she called them there to give them the means to stop Discord but It came with it a price they will take over the position of guardians of Equestria and they will never be allowed to go back to their former lives. The sisters agreed to the terms they will do anything to save their people.

So with the power of the Guardian they confronted Discord effectively turning him to stone. After the deed was done the princesses were taken from our world and became the goddesses they are now. They both took dominion over the two different times of the day, Day and Night, But this is not the end of their tale there are many legends of the Celestial Sisters that will come in time.
