//-------------------------------------------------------// Should We? -by GoldenChaos- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Please Help Me //-------------------------------------------------------// Please Help Me Walking around the headquarters, Rainbow was confused by all the knowing looks and the giggles coming from the other Wonderbolts. "Flatfoot!" called Rainbow, as she notice her giggling to another Wonderbolt. "Why is everypony acting so strange today?" "You want a spoiler, Crash?" asked Fleetfoot. "Sure, I just need to know," replied Rainbow. Fleetfoot turned pink as she tried to contain her giggling. "Well, Clipper is going to propose to you tomorrow!" said Fleetfoot, and she turned away from a slack-jaw Rainbow Dash. "Oh my gosh!" muttered Rainbow to herself. Seeing Spitfire, she shouted,"Coach! I'm going home now." Spitfire raised an eyebrow, and was ready to speak, but Rainbow was gone. Outside, Rainbow flew hard and fast, one destination in mind. She needed help from a friend that had gone through this. Fluttershy. Discord proposed to her, and she was reluctant, and maybe she could help Rainbow! The small cottage came into view, and so did Fluttershy and Discord. Discord was first to see her, and he pointed to Rainbow, and Fluttershy locked eyes with Rainbow. "Flutters!" called Rainbow. She landed hard on the ground, and Fluttershy walked over to her. "Is something wrong? I thought you were training with the Wonderbolts," said Fluttershy. Discord came to her side. "Well, I have some matters to talk about, alone," Rainbow glared at Discord, who groaned and crossed his arms. "I'm obviously not wanted here, so bye," Discord flashed away, and Fluttershy narrowed her eyes at Rainbow. "You could be nicer to my husband," said Fluttershy. Rainbow looked at her apologetically. "But never mind that for now. What's wrong?" Fluttershy tilted her head to the side. "Well, Flatfoot, er Fleetfoot told me that Soarin was going to propose to me tomorrow," said Rainbow. Fluttershy's eyes lit up. "Congratulations!" exclaimed Fluttershy, but Rainbow looked to the ground. "But I don't know if it's real love, or if we should be married yet," finished Rainbow. Fluttershy's eyes reflected sadness. "Well, come inside," said Fluttershy. "I will make you some tea, and we can talk about this." Rainbow nodded and smiled appreciatively. Fluttershy went into the kitchen, and moments later, she came back out with some boiling water. Pouring the tea in two cups, she looked up at Rainbow. "Milk?" offered Fluttershy. "Sure." Fluttershy gave her the tea, and she sat in a chair across from Rainbow. "I'm glad you came to me," said Fluttershy. "I might not be an expert on love, like Rarity, but maybe I can help you." "Okay, so what am I supposed to do?" asked Rainbow. "Follow your heart," replied Fluttershy. "Do you love Soarin?" Rainbow was silent, her face crimson. "That's it," said Rainbow. "I just... Don't know." "Does he make you happy?" asked Fluttershy, and she smiled as her friend's eyes lit up in happiness of the memories. "How does he make you happy?" "Well, every morning when he sees me, he gives me a hug," started Rainbow. "At lunch, he makes sure I have the perfect lunch. When I'm feeling low, he always cheers me up." Fluttershy smiled knowingly, though she wasn't going to reveal what she was doing to Rainbow. "Do you think of him a lot?" asked Fluttershy. "All the time!" exclaimed Rainbow. "He is a great flier, so fast, and very handsome." The last two words made her blush again. Fluttershy silently smiled at Rainbow, deciding to give her the one question that would answer Rainbow's question. "How do you feel when you see him, hear his voice, feel his touch?" asked Fluttershy. Rainbow fell silent, looking to the ground. "I feel happiness, and love," said Rainbow finally. "I love Soarin! I have to marry him!" Fluttershy smiled. "Go get him," whispered Fluttershy, and Rainbow flew out the door, and went back to Wonderbolts headquarters, and saw Soarin. He turned to her, and he blushed, his hoof behind his back. "Good, you're here," said Soarin. "There is something I want to ask.." Here it comes, and Rainbow bounced in place. "Will you marry me?" Rainbow crashed onto his lips, kissing him passionately. Soarin was surprised, but kissed her back. They pulled back, gasping for air minutes later. "So, it's a yes?" asked Soarin. "Of course, you dummy!" said Rainbow playfully, shoving him lightly.
