During an afternoon tea with his studious neighbour, Honey Glow, Starswirl the Bearded mentions that he has been theorising about something called a "Sonic Rainboom." Honey eagerly offers her Pegasus daughter as a test subject. As Starswirl begins experimenting, concerns arise and the Glows' household is fraught with tension. Will Honey regret her offer? Will she and her husband be able to see eye to eye? And, most importantly, will Starswirl's theory finally be proven?
