I sat in the middle of a park in my last few moments away from everything embracing the peace and quiet. I slowly closed my eye’s letting myself surrender to the darkness that crept into my vison. Soon the hospital staff will come to get me at least my last moments were spent in peace without pain. After a moment I opened my eyes to see a vast dark void unable to move my body though I knew that would fade somehow. However while I was confused it was rather peaceful on some base level that left me relaxed. I looked around for a moment before a single point of light came towards me though it didn’t seem hostile. When it got close enough it appeared to be a woman though the light was so blinding I couldn’t make out any detail.
She spoke with voice like soft rain “Hello there I have come to make you an offer if you accept I will send you to a new world”. I thought for a moment before speaking “What do you want from me in exchange for this offer”. She said “I want you to help the people there with the power I’m about to give you”. She seemed to hesitate before saying “Unfortunately I will be unable to give you your former body however you will gain a new one”. I frowned slightly then I slowly looked down as a thought occurred to me and sure enough I had a new body. I stared suddenly realizing who I changed into I had become raven from the teen titans vs justice league movie. However on my right hand I had a tattoo of Slifer the sky dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh in full color.
I sighed after awhile looking back at her I asked with Raven’s voice “Will you train me before I go since we both know I’m going”. She nodded then in a bright flash I felt knowledge pour into me along with years of experience. When the flash ended I had all the information I needed including the location she was sending me to Equestria. Then another bright flash knocked me unconscious for I don’t know how long. When I woke up I found myself at the edge of a forest looking at a small cottage. It had all manner of animals around it some in little houses some eating from bowls. A moment later an anthro horse came out slowly looking around when she saw me and froze.
I raised my hand waving calling out “Hi who are you I mean no harm” I added seeing her slowly inching backwards. She paused then meekly waved back replying “Hello I’m Fluttershy who are you” she paused “What are you”? I thought for a moment then said “Well I was a human now I am an Azarathian my name is” I paused then said “Raven nice to meet you”. She was wearing a simple green shirt complementing her blue jeans nicely though she seemed timid. I stayed where I was to keep her feeling safe as she looked me over curiously taking her time. She spoke after a moment “Um I need to tell my friend Twilight about this if that’s okay with you could you stay here”? I smiled softly nodding my head before sitting cross legged in midair meditating to pass the time as she walked off. I found that meditating even though I was technically knew to it was an incredibly pleasant experience so calm and relaxing.
After what my internal clock deduced was an hour I heard footsteps drawing closer so I opened my eyes to see Twilight and Fluttershy. She wore a knee length dark blue skirt with a short sleeved button up purple shirt. She was cautious which I could tell even if I couldn’t sense her emotions by the fact her horn was glowing. I spoke before things could escalate “Hello my names is Raven I take it your Twilight Sparkle correct”? She nodded her head hesitantly as a bright flash appeared leaving behind two more ponies. The first one I noticed was a blue one wearing a plain dark blue dress that seemed rather easy to move. She also wore a small black crown behind her horn meaning this must be Luna one of the two rulers. The other wearing the white elegant dress must be Celestia the other ruler that I was told about.
Instead of bowing like Fluttershy did or run up and hug Celestia like Twilight did I calmly walked before Luna. I carefully pulled out something from a pocket dimension that I had asked for when I learned of Luna and her past history. With a small smile I gave Luna the nice grey blanket that was soft and made to last. She was slightly confused with just a slight bit of apprehension as she took it which morphed to wonder at its calming effect. I had it infused with a calming effect so that whoever holds it will relax even under the greatest of stress. I said simply “I hope this helps you now on to why you’re all here can I assume you have questions”? The two new comers nodded Luna saying a small thanks before Celestia spoke to me directly with a neutral expression. “What are you doing here Raven more importantly what are your intentions towards my little ponies”. I relayed the story of how I arrived here and what I was supposed to do while here.
Then I said “If it would be okay can I stay here until you need me it seems calm, soothing in a way”. The two sister’s huddled together for a moment whispering though their emotions were all over the place. After what felt like hours but was really only a few minutes they turned back to me. Celestia spoke “That is acceptable if you help keep the town safe though I will leave the element bearers to decide where you will stay”. She whispered to twilight for a moment before disappearing in a flash of light though Luna remained. She walked over to me looking me in the eye as if searching for something important. A small smile graced her face as she handed me a hastily scrawled note before leaving as well. I turned to the other two ponies present saying simply “What now” which apparently meant a long discussion.
