"Oh man what am I going to wear? Not like I don't already look great in everything but I still need something that'll match." Let's see here....nope...nope...definitely not that one...that one is still dirty from that party a week ago....ah ha! I threw the shirt on and began brushing my teeth and washing my face. Afterwards the only thing left to do was brush my hair. "Let me just brush that one little hair and....done. Ready for the awesomeness that is this day." I stared at the figure in the mirror and he stared back. a boy named Uni, an African american with brown hair that can go down to his chin fashioned in a side swept style instead and multi-colored eyes, one red, one blue. I had to make sure every detail was in place for today, I was going to be having the best day of my life in an hour. No, not a birthday or something of that nature. Actually I was rather overly excited to see my childhood friends, Sunset shimmer and Rainbow Dash. Sunset shimmer was always the prettiest of our little ragtag group, I had the biggest crush on her for a while. Rainbow Dash is, of course, in debate with me over who was the coolest of our group. Despite our age, we get into arguments and little competitions often about it. I was, however, more excited to Sunset. After I lost touch with her a long time ago, I heard she went power crazy and tried to take over the school she's at. I really hoping she's changed enough for me to still like her.
Are you sure you trust that Sunset girl? I mean usually when someone goes crazy like that, they don't want to change.
Don't say that Bill. She's changed and I know it.
What makes you so sure kid? You never know what could happen I mean look at the possibilities.
Gruesome images of Sunset transforming into a raging she-demon flashed throughout Uni's mind making him shake it in disgust. Stop it Bill. The last thing I need is you getting the way of things.

"Ah man! I gotta get going or I'll be late." With that, I rushed out the door with my keys in hand. The drive was made peaceful by the sound of music from my favorite games bouncing through the car. However, the images of a raging she-demon flashed through my mind once again. She really won't be like that will she?
After about forty minutes of driving, the school was in sight. The CHS statue gave the school the pride it deserved. The school itself looked stunning enough. It's too bad I'm just visiting, would love to go to this school. I began to pull into the parking lot until something pink jumped in front of my car yelling my name. I stopped the car instantly and looked up to see nothing. I jumped at the sound of a voice in my passenger seat. "Why'd you stop the car silly?"
"Pinkie?! How did you get in my car?"
"What are you talking about I was always here."
"No you weren't. I saw...."
I turned my head away from her for a second and when I turned back, she was gone. When I looked up, there she was standing in front of my car, on the sidewalk next to Rarity. How she does it, I have no idea? I parked the car and stepped out when suddenly, I was greeted by a hug from Rarity. "Very nice to see you again darling."
"Still prim and proper as always Rarity." I returned the hug and tried to pull away only to have Rarity latch onto me again. "You can let go now Rarity."
"Oh! Um...terribly sorry."
"So how have you two been doing lately?"
"Oh I've been doing great!" Pinkie yelled, "First a magical princess Twilight came to our world then we fought a magical she-demon then we fought three magical sirens then we threw a party and Spike can talk!"
"Whoa calm down there Pinkie, that is a lot. What about you Rarity?"
"Not much really. Pinkie just explained the majority. I however, thought of a dozen new fabulous designs thanks to those events."
"As usual. By the way where are the rest of the group?"
"Before Rarity could speak, Pinkie appeared next to me and began her rambling. "Applejack is in the gym, Twilight and Spike are in the library, we're here, and Sunset and Rainbow are in the courtyard next to the lunchroom. They have sooooooo missed you."
"Really?"
"Darling they haven't stopped talking about you since you announced your little visit."
"Things were always so casual between us, I'm surprised to say the least."
"Well then don't keep them waiting dear."
"Right." Without hesitation, I rushed inside. Of course directions were necessary so I asked around. Finally after being turned around two times, I found the lunchroom and out in the courtyard next to it, sat Rainbow and Sunset. Grass covered the majority of the courtyard while tables sat inside concrete squares for students to eat. As I began to walk their direction, I could see every second as if I were slowing down time. I watched as their heads turned, as their expressions went from normal to surprised and happy, as they got up and began running at me with arms outstretched. Before I knew I was in the grass with the two of them hugging me like it was their last. "You guys missed me this much?"
After letting me up, Rainbow Dash patted herself down and spoke. "Are you kidding me? I was about this close to snapping if I didn't see you in the next minute."
"I guess my reputation proceeds me."
I felt a slight jab in my arm and looked to see Sunset. "Oh get over yourself." she said in a playful manner. "It's really good to see you again Uni."
"You too Sunset. You especially Rainbow. We still haven't settled our bet."
"You still remember that? What was that over again, Basketball?"
"I think so...or maybe soccer...either way I still know who owes me five bucks for that bet."
"Sweet you have my five bucks."
"Your five bucks? You're kidding, I won that bet."
"Last time I checked I won that one."
"You guys never change." Sunset said to interrupt us. "But instead of a betting, how bout we just hang out like normal friends for once hmm?
Both of us looked at each other and giggled. "That seems like a nice change of pace huh Rainbow?"
"Yea it does actually. Not like you would've one that bet anyway."
"Oh we'll see."
"Would you two come on." Sunset said as she walked back into the school.
As you exited the front, you unlocked your car and joined the ladies inside. "So where to?"
Rainbow Dash jumped up from the back to hurl her arm around you. "Dude Mobius burger."
"Umm....Sunset how bout you?"
I actually know this awesome place downtown called Giuseppe."
"Sounds fancy." I said with sarcastic tone.
"Sounds lame." Rainbow said without regret.
Sunset smirked and tapped her leg. "They have burgers..you know if you're hungry."
Both me and Rainbow looked at each other and nodded. I pulled out of the lot and floored the pedal. Twenty minutes later, we arrived at Sunset's directions. The place wasn't as fancy as I thought it was but it was still pretty fancy. A sign with the words Giuseppe written on it, a beautiful white coat covered the exterior and positioned directly in front of the store, table and umbrellas. I whistled and parked the car. "Wow Sunset, you sure know how to pick 'em."
"Naturally."
We entered the store. It maintained a strict Italian appearance yet it' menu said different. All three of us ordered a burger and asked about the seats outside. The man began to direct us to a table in front of the store but stopped immediately. Suddenly he directed us in the opposite direction of the tables, to the back of the store. He asked us to step out the back door and boy were we surprised. Another set of tables reserved for VIP customers he said. I could see why, my god the view. There was a lake just in the horizon and the sun shined down at just the right angle to capture it's beauty. We tried to pay him as a thank you but he refused saying he was feeling overly generous today. "Man can't believe he gave us this view."
Rainbow nodded in agreement as she continued eating. "Pretty sweet. Just look at that, photo worthy if you ask me."
"So I've had yet to ask you two ladies how you have been after all this time.
"Still rockin at sports."
"You mean showing off."
"You call it showing off, I call it awesomeness."
"Sure. What about you Sunset?"
"Oh not much just playing with the band and all."
"And she's lying."
"What? What do you mean i'm lying?"
"Sunset, we're best friends. Open book remember? Plus I may have heard some rumors about a magical....incident that took place here."
She tensed up at the words I spoke. "Well yea..there was an incident with a raging she-demon transformation....kind of...maybe."
As soon as Rainbow saw Sunset drop her head in nervousness, she wrapped her arm around her. "Don't worry about it a man. So what she turned into a raging she-demon and tried to take over the school. She did her best to reform and make up for it. She even turned into another magical princess to stop a magic hungry Midnight Sparkle. Now if you ask me, that's cool."
"Really? Maybe you are the coolest one here Sunset."
She picked her head up and smiled at us. "Really?"
"Yea really. Of course, you'll be competing with me and Rainbow for the title though so you have competition."
"You guys are so alike."
"How so?"
"Your mannerisms, your everything. You guys would be perfect for each other."
"Hold up no no, let's not say that." Is she crazy. We act alike because we're best friends and nothing else.
Oh really?
Dammit Bill what do you want?
You've only been hanging out for what, half an hour, and I can already tell.
Tell what?
You have a thing for that Rainbow haired girl. You preach to yourself that you want Bacon hair over there but you've been connecting with the other one this entire time.
Shut up already. I want Sunset. Me and Rainbow have just been together so long, we rubbed off on each other.
Oh denial is bad thing this day and age kid. Look at me, two dumb kids who denied the world its chaotic end and here I am, ready to go back whenever I want.

I like the drama inside your head. While you're at it, why don't you just kiss the Rainbow girl.

I came back to reality to find Sunset and Rainbow staring at me awkwardly. "What? Is there something on my face?"
Sunset shook her head. "You were spaced out for a pretty long time there. You ok?"
"Um...yea fine trust me."
"So what have you been doing with your life huh?"
"Me? The usual I guess. Go to school, go to school, play sports or games, the usual."
"Oh really, open book remember remember?"
"Crap. You guys make it hard to keep a secret you know that. I'm gonna tell you something and no one can find out, alright?" They both nodded.
"Two years ago, I woke up one morning and was about to get out of bed when suddenly I felt a strange pain in my head. Before I knew it, all the stuff in my room was floating or being teleported around the room. I got powers guys."
You awaited the teasing and torturing but was greeted with a slight chuckle. "That's it?" Rainbow Dash struggled to say.
"What? Isn't that weird?"
"Dude we've been through more magic drama in the last two weeks than that."
"So apparently it's normal now to have crazy magic powers?"
Sunset nodded. "Pretty much. What kind of powers are they?"
"I don't really know. I can use my mind to control them so a bit psychic i guess but they did seem to cause a little chaos here and there. Like watch this." I held my hand out leaving them to watch as the salt shaker levitated with black energy. "That's psychic. Now if I really think about it." I pointed to a guy on his patio not far below our own position sitting on a lawn chair and enjoying the sun. I focused on him like it was my job and suddenly, his lawn flipped him over. "That's chaos."
"Pretty cool if you ask me." Sunset stated.
"So that's pretty much my life right now. By the way, I saw a lot of people packing, is there something going on?"
"Oh yea, there's this sweet camping trip we're going on in the next couple of days. To camp Everfree I think it's called."
"Camp Everfree? I've heard stories about that place. It's been said that people who go into the woods there often don't come back. Poor little Andy."
Rainbow jumped up and jabbed me in the arm. Of course, it wasn't a jab, more like a straight on punch. Making me hold my arm in pain. "Look at you fishing for a scare. Way to make up that name."
"Who said I made it up?" Both of them stared at me with an expression that screamed it's so obvious. "Alright fine, I made it up. I actually heard it's a pretty fun place."
I noticed Sunset begin to play with her thumbs then she asked me, "Do you wanna come?"
"Go camping huh? Well, it would be a change of pace."
"Yes!" she jumped up and screamed before noticing me and RD staring at her with confusion. She coughed and sat back down. "I mean awesome."
We finished our food and left the waiter a respectable tip. On the drive back to school, we talked about the normal things in life. Rainbow talked about how she scored the winning goal for Canterlot high again and Sunset explained how she started to write songs for the band. My plan was to go back to my hotel after dropping them back at the school. I pulled into the parking lot and got out to greet the rest of their friends waiting there. "Hey applejack, long time no see y'all."
"I do believe you're making fun of my accent again, aren't ya?"
"Me? Oh heavens no."
"I done missed you too Uni." She said with a slight chuckle then we hugged. As we broke however, she smiled. "Watch your back. One of these days, Ah'm gonna get you back."
"I look forward to it. Well guys I'm gonna head back to my hotel for a few. I may be visiting but I still have work to do.
Sunset looked at me with and slight smile and lidded eyes. "I can't wait to hang out again Uni."
"Me either."
Oh would you look at that? A girl who likes you..but you don't like her. It's funny really. So funny I might laugh. Hahahaha!
"Shut the hell up Cipher!" Silence filled the air as I looked up. Only the looks of confused and terrified faces stared back at me. "I'm sorry everyone, just a little joke to see if you'd all jump haha."
Sunset looked at me with concerned eyes and walked over. "Please call me over in about a couple of hours. We need to talk."
Chaos every step of the way
Bill cipher, a freak, a jerk, nosy, an absolute asshole. Ever since I got these powers, the little nuisance had shown up and wouldn't leave. He talks to me when I least expect it, messes with me, screws up my mind. He is the negative side effect of these powers. Of course there really isn't a good side effect of these powers either considering who shows up to help me control them. You're smart, you can figure it out. Psychic chaos equals the one only, "Well hi there my chaos infused friend."
I jumped off the bed in complete horror plus a mix of shock. "Discord?! How did you get in here?...Wait, that's a stupid question."
"Indeed it is. Now it would be best if you could explain to me your dilemma."
"Dilemma?"
"Thanks to our agreement, I'm hooked directly into your psyche. I can sense your distress remember?"
"Oh yea I remember, I just really hate it."
"You wanted to know how to control your powers young human, this was the only way."
"I find that hard to believe sometimes."
"I assumed so. Now what is your dilemma." I pointed my thumb to my head. "Cipher acting up again I see. It wouldn't be the first time I suppose. Shall I do the usual?"
"He messes up a good day for me. I wish there was a way to get him out."
"Like that'll ever happen."
"Shut up Cipher. Discord please just do it."
Discord brought his index finger and blew onto it, a blue flame began to spur and ignite. And just like that he pointed the finger at you and the magical flame disappeared. "There, you have exactly 12 hours until that wears off. Now shall we start the training?"
"I don't know. I'm not really in the mood."
"Then what pray tell was the point of me coming here today?"
"To help me with Bill. Sorry Discord but I have to some stuff to think about, maybe tomorrow?"
"What's the issue this time?"
"You don't want to know."
"No I insist. I came here, gave you a magical block, and was expecting to do something actually worth coming to this world so please, do tell."
"It's girl issues."
"I had enough experience with friendship to chaperone these kinds of things so please continue."
"Really? I never took you for one who knew anything about love."
"Oh dear boy, you underestimate me."
"Well...A little bit of this is Cipher's fault but...it's also mine. I like Sunset..I know this. I've had a crush on her ever since we were kids but...."
"But?"
"Cipher began teasing me for paying a little too much attention to Rainbow saying things like I like her more than Sunset."
"Well you like Sunset, what's the problem?"
"The problem is that he may not...be...entirely wrong. I do like Sunset but I have begun to notice the little things that connect me and Rainbow. I really want me and Sunset to work but if I'm constantly getting bombarded by my connections to Rainbow, I'll never have the chance."
"Ah young love. Alright then." He flashed next to me and like a father placed his arm around me. "Listen. I knew this pony back in Equestria with your same problem."
"Well how did he deal with it?"
"Tell me, have you ever considered trying to focus on what connects you to Sunset instead of the obvious ones to Rainbow."
"I mean...no, not really."
"Now I'm not saying to completely ignore Rainbow Dash, she is your friend after all but if you want Sunset that badly, focus on trying to make a connection to her. You're just letting things happen on their own and they're forcing you towards Rainbow. Take control of the situation and make Sunset yours.
"Not a bad idea. You're really not as bad as I thought discord, although, this is unusual coming from you."
"I don't like to brag but....you can thank Fluttershy for giving me some inspiration."
"I thought so."
"Well I have to go now since there's no training today. I shall return when you need me. Oh and take care of that thing, it's so unsightly." He said as he flashed out.
"What thing?" I examine my surroundings only to find a discomfort on near my rump. Upon turning around to inspect it, I gave the most annoyed look in the world to the fox tail jutting out from pants. "Are you kiddi.....Discord!" Using what little chaos knowledge I knew, I removed the tail out of existence."Now i'm hoping the advice he gave works."
I took my phone out went into my contacts. My finger stopped right above Sunset's number. I took a deep breath and pressed it. The dial tone began and I sat back on my bed waiting for her to answer. I jumped up when I heard her pick up. "Hello?"
"Sunset? It's me, Uni."
"Oh finally. I've been waiting for your call for like an hour. Are you ok?"
"Um...fine actually. Why are you so worried?"
"I was...nevermind. Can we..talk?"
"Definitely. You remember the apartment and hotel right?"
"Yes. I'll be there in an hour."
"See ya then." I hung up the phone and proceeded to lay back on the bed. Now that I can finally thing to myself, I can process my emotions......What am I supposed to process though? I like Sunset, end of story. Of course, me and Rainbow have too much in common to just let it slide out of my head. The way we act, food, hobbies. If I had crush on her back then, she'd be the one for me....No..I just can't deny my feelings towards Sunset that easily. She was the one who got me through so much back in our childhood. School, my parent's issues. But then was Rainbow with the bullies and getting me good at sports. Crap, there I go again with freaking Rainbow..................................Who do I choose?
The hour passed and soon there was a knock at the door. Upon opening the door, I was rushed by Sunset with a hug. "I'm glad to see you Uni."
"You too Sunset. Mind letting me go though? Kinda can't breath."
"Oh, sorry. Nice apartment you got here."
"I saved up alot of money for this visit. May I offer you some orange juice milady?"
"Why of course good sir."
Both of you chuckled and you handed her the juice from your mini fridge. "So you wanted to talk?"
"Um...yes." she said as she took a sip of her juice.
"Alright then, I'm all ears."
"Are you...ok now?"
"You mean that little issue back at the school? I'm fine trust me. I just got an acting job and was practicing a role."
Her head turned towards the ground, her juice lay limp in her hand. "Y-you...don't even like acting."
"It's fun to try new things."
"What kind of lie is that?"
"A lie?"
"We've been together too long Uni. I can read you like a book."
"......."
"Tell me what's wrong Uni. As your friend, I want to be there for you...please."
This is it, you tell her about Cipher and you can get it off your chest....but what if she thinks you're crazy, I mean, she has experienced magic before but....to say there's a magical being of chaos living inside your head that has nothing to do with equestrian magic...it'd be suicide. "I....My powers have been causing some interesting side effects."
"Like? Come on, you know who I am, I know a thing or two about magic."
"I've been hearing voices."
"Voices? You're not schizophrenic are you?"
"No way. I've been tested."
"Then maybe your powers are the problem....but that's not what I wanted to talk about."
"Really?"
"I came to ask you something. Are you in love with Rainbow?"
I froze up, my body went into a complete stand still. That question rammed my emotions down to the darkest pit of any hole. "I....."
"Please just answer the question."
This is your chance to tell her how you feel but.......I can't answer yet..I just can't...Discord, I need you...please. That's when my prayers were answered. Discord flashed just as quick as I needed him to. "You called?"
Sunset's eyes shocked to say the least but not that surprised it seemed. "What in the world is that?"
"I am discord my dear girl. Master of Chaos and soon to be friendship."
"Wait a minute. Discord you said? Aren't you that evil villain that tried to shadow Equestria in chaos."
"That would be me yes."
"Right...." She said as she began to pick up my ironing table.
Before she could put her idea to action, I stopped her. "Whoa Sunset, calm down."
"What's he doing here?! In your apartment?!"
"Allow me to explain dear Sunset." He said as he flashed a cup of tea into his hand. "See a while ago, I had begun a retry on my plan to subdue the world to chaos. I was defeated however, by a group of young girls with the power of friendship, the pony versions of your friends here. After a while I was given a chance to reform, in which I did thanks to my dear ol' Fluttershy. Come some time, I noticed the boy's strange powers and offered my services to help him control them as such."
Sunset gave him a curious look. "So...you're not evil?"
"Not even a wink. Although I do tend to cause a tiny amount of mischief here and there. A little fun as I see it."
"And you're not trying to cover our world in chaos?"
"I wouldn't dream of it."
Sunset looked to me for confirmation to which I nodded. "I guess...you're ok then."
Finally she placed my ironing board on solid ground and I let out a sigh of relief. "Now there is a matter I would like to discuss with you Sunset and you're the only one I can trust to help."
"We just met though."
"But you do have access to Princess Twilight do you not?"
"I do."
"Then may I ask a favor?"
"Sure, why not."
"Young Uni here has trained day in and day out to hone his powers but even with the master of Chaos himself, He can't gain complete control of them. He needs the famed Princess Twilight's help in order to really understand the magic that dwells within him."
"Wait what?" Sunset responded.
"Wait a minute, what?" I responded. "You...want me to got o Equestria?"
"Precisely."
"But I'm human."
"You mean half pony."
"Half? Both my parents were human besides their ancestors. I should be like one sixteenth pony."
"Oh dear..I guess they never explained that one. Everyone assumed your father was human, your mother and her entire family tree were all ponies however.
"So that means..."
"Your powers aren't just a coincidence. They were born unto you."
"Wait then why are they chaos powers?"
"I....did say that your father was assumed human but..I may have had a bit to do with that."
"What?"
"Before your mother left for this world, I had been her special somepony..or somdraconequus."
"Is today the day to freak me out or something. There's no way you're saying what I think you're saying."
"It's difficult to say but it is a possibility. Where your human appearance comes from, I'm unsure."
I stopped for a second and starting taking deep breaths."
"Are you alright?"
"Yea, y-yea. I-i'm fine trust me."
Sunset trying to comfort me placed her hand upon my shoulder. "Are you sure? You look a little pale."
"Yep, definitely fine. I just need to pee real quick." Nervously I exited the room and went into the bathroom. Silently I could hear both Discord and Sunset count down, "3..2...1...and.."
All that was heard within the apartment was a frustrated yell and pounding. After about five minutes of this, I flushed the toilet and exited. Discord looked at me and chuckled. "Are you quite done?"
"Yea...i'm cool now."
"Got that all out of your system?"
"Yep, just really needed that. Why didn't you tell me that it's a possibility that you of all creatures could be my father?"
"It never came up plus," he said as he leaned in close. "If Celestia ever found out, she'd most certainly have my head."
"So let me get this straight." Sunset chimed in. "You're the son of who is considered the lord of chaos?" I nodded. "And now you have to go to Equestria in order to control the powers?" \
I nodded once again. She nodded as if she understood but then fell to the ground unconscious. "Oh no. Sunset wake up. Come on, it's not that serious."
"Does she do that often?"
"Not really. Apparently there's things so shocking that it makes her faint, makes no sense if you ask me." After a few minutes, she finally awoke to the sound of my voice. "Sunset? Wake up already."
"Huh?....Oh, sorry about that. That was just to much for me."
"I really doubt that."
"What do you mean? That was really shocking to find out."
"Like that time someone at your birthday cake and you fainted? Shocking."
"I don't want to hear it Uni." she said in a humorous manner.
After helping her to her feet, we turned to Discord who was now sleeping in mid-air. "Wake up Discord."
"Hmmm? Finally you two are done. Can we get this going already?"
I sighed letting what little annoyance Discord causes me to slip away. "Sunset can you send a message to Princess Twilight?"
"I'll have to run home and get my book but yea."
"I'll drive you there if you want."
"That'd be nice, thanks."
"I'll call you when I need you again Discord."
"Whatever you say."
He flashed out and we headed out the door and to my car. Her directions weren't hard to follow, thank god she has a good sense of direction. Upon finally arriving at her house, she hopped out of the car and began to walk up the driveway. She looked back at me and smiled. "Are you coming?"
"Coming where?....Y-you mean inside?"
"Yea?"
"U-um sure." No way, I'm really going into Sunset's house. This is a dream come true.
Slowly, I followed her up to the front door, my nerves wrecking me inside and out. She unlocked her door and motioned me inside. I hesitated at first but soon found my way inside. "W-wow. Nice place you got here."
"Thank you. Interior decorating is not easy."
"Say where are your parents?"
"About halfway to their vacation destination."
"They just left you here?"
"It sounds bad I know but I have a nice job and it pays well. I can easily take care of myself till they get back. The book's in my room, come on."
"In your room? No, I couldn't invade your privacy like that."
"Uni, best friends remember? My house is your house. Actually I could even let you stay in the guest room instead of that fortune charger of a hotel."
"Not a bad idea. I'll consider it."
I sounded all for it but inside, my nerves couldn't be more nervous. I'm actually going to Sunset's room, this could be the chance to actually tell her how you feel. Don't screw this up Uni, focus. "Are you coming Uni?"
"R-right." I headed up the stairs and headed to the first open door. "That's the bathroom, course it is."
"Second door on the left Uni."
"Thank you." I exited the bathroom and headed to the door she said. It was downright stunning to see. A slight yellow tint covered her walls with a sun painted into it. Inside that sun however, was the three of us, her, Rainbow, and me painted smiling and hugging. The same design existed on the other wall but in that one were the 6 happy girls she had come to love. In the corner was her bed and next to that was a desk with shelfs. Stacked upon them were books upon books but in one corner lay a mysterious binder and the book I assume was the magical messenger book. "It looks amazing in here. Everything is great. The colors, the paintings really compliment your style."
I looked over to see her cheeks blushing a little. "Thank you. I really put alot of work into it." She grabbed the book from the desk and sat down on the bed. "Let's see here. Dear Princess Twilight..."
"Hey what's this binder for?" I said as I picked it up.
"Wait no that's my...."
Too late. I had already opened and was flipping through. "Holy crap." My eyes met the drawings on the pages, ones of absolute and utter beauty. Dozens of dragons page to page, cover to cover. "You're really good. You must really like dragons."
"T-they're not that good."
"Not that good? These should be in a museum or at least displayed somewhere."
"They're really that good? I mean being a pony before kinda makes it hard to get down the concentration and have a steady hand."
"They're absolutely perfect."
More blush filled her cheeks as she went back to writing in her book. I closed the binder and replaced it in the desk. "And....there done. Twilight should hopefully respond in about an hour."
"Sweet. So what do we do until then?"
"Well you wanna watch some TV."
"I know this great show you're gonna love."
"Really what?"
"It's called ridiculousness and it's gonna make you laugh."
A good portion of time passe as we laughed our butts off at the show, Sunset the most. "Hahahahah, that guy must be in pain."
"I know right. Any word from Twilight."
Sunset opened the book and smiled. "Yep, you can head to the portal anytime."
"Aren't you coming?"
"I....don't know. You know how I stole the Princesses crown and everything. I'm afraid Celestia is still holding that grudge."
"If anyone over there is like anyone here, I know they'll forgive you as soon as they see how you've changed. I'll be there if you need me, you know that right?"
"....Uni I..."
"Huh? What's up Sunset?"
Before I could process what was happening, I was met by a surprise. No warning, no hesitation, her lips met mine. My mind exploded from the sheer satisfaction I was feeling. I was happy to finally be doing the thing I set out to do in the first place. Life had it's own plans though. My mind flashed through the times I had with Sunset, reminiscing the build up to this moment until one girl stained my mind turning the girl kissing me into another. Finally Sunset realized what she was doing and jumped back. "Oh man, I'm so sorry. The moment was just so right and..."
"No no, it's ok. I just need to process what happened."
"U-um....right..we should head to the portal."
"Which is where again?"
"T-the school."
The drive there was silent and ominous. Her eyes lay firmly out the window obviously processing what she just did. My mind raced a thousand time faster than normal. I kissed Sunset....I should be happy right?...But....why did I see Rainbow Dash instead of the girl I love?...The hell is going on with me? Finally, we arrived at the school only to see the six already waiting there. We exited the car with looks confusion on our faces, both from why they were here and what just happened. "Uh guys? What are you doing here?"
Before anyone else could answer, Pinkie appeared next to me and Sunset and pulled us in for a hug. "We heard about your ultra awesome super crazy plan to adventure through the portal."
"Oh, wait how?"
Rarity chuckled. "Sunset called me dear. She originally told me to keep it a secret from the others and to come up with an excuse but Pinkie is just too adorable, especially when she utilized Spike's puppy dog eyes. So what's the occasion."
"Well after much discussion, Sunset and I thought it'd be best if I go receive training for my powers on the other side. You explained that to them, right Rainbow?"
"What you think I spilled the beans?.....Ok maybe I did."
Suddenly Twilight was two inches in front of me. "Can you show me a little bit of your powers please?"
"Um, sure." I took a penny out of my pocket and tossed into the air. Within a couple of seconds, the penny was at eye level and stayed there. My finger pointed to it levitating it off the ground. I began to focus and suddenly the penny grew a size. It dropped into my hand two times bigger than it was before. "Kind of a mix of psychic and chaos."
"Interesting." Twilight scribbled something in a notebook she was carrying and took a step back. "I would be happy to see you after you've gotten better with them...for research of course."
"No problem I guess." We all walked over to the statue and Sunset stuck her finger through. She jumped back in absolute fear almost falling to the ground. "Sunset calm down. Are you ok?"
"I..I can't do it. I can't go back there."
"Sunset, you'll never get over it unless you try."
"I know I know.....this just isn't the time. I need a bit more confidence. I'm sorry but I can't go."
I gave her a slight hug, still awkward from the kiss. "Understandable, you'll get it when you're ready. Alright you guys, the other Twilight should be waiting for me."
I took a deep breath and exhaled. I've never been there before. I remember my mom telling me stories about Equestria and here I am about to see any of those are true....I can do this... As I began to take a step, I felt two arms wrap around me. "What the....Rainbow Dash?" There she was hugging me like it was the last she'd see me. Sunset, fortunately, was sitting on the stairs with her eyes closed, still getting herself back in check.I turned to see Rainbow looking up at me with a single tear in her eye. "Come back soon ok?"
"You got it."
After Applejack pulled her locking arms from around me, I waved goodbye to people I came to know and love and looked forward to the world I would soon face. "Here I come Equestria."
