Author's Note: So this story is actually an old one I found while diggin through my files, and I realized I've never posted it on here. So, why not? This is an alternate reality from the original MLP time line, and most references to canon will be seasons 1-4. Mainly because I haven't seen the newer seasons, but also because trying to keep this story with canon is overwhelming. A few side notes: The ponies here sometimes act like anthros, like when they fight they'll be standing on two legs with hooves wrapped around weapons. Also, dragons in this universe are all four legged, except for wyvern. So spike is a little cute four legged dragon that stands on four legs and not two. Anyways! For most of his life, Song grew up in Canterlot castle under the careful eye of Celestia, training in both study and fitness. On his birthday, Celestia tells him the truth where he came, and assigns him to be a Canterlot spy while she figures out how to help Song along the way to finding his own truth. However, when the gift he was given starts acting very strange, only Song can follow its words to find the truth.
And who knows? Maybe he'll rule a kingdom.
