“OH MY GOSH!”

The lavender alicorn shouted while her wings shot up like she’d just had the best sex ever, “A magical visitor from another world!?” She tackled Jimmy hard enough to knock the bat flat on his back, “You have to tell me everything, everything you know!”

Rainbow pushed Twi off of her friend, “Twilight! You’re going crazy again!”

Twi blushed as soon as she realized, “Oh! Oh! I am so sorry, but you don’t just spring magic news on me like that and not expect me to get excited!”

Jimmy giggled, “Man... It ain’t been since Spring Break in ‘09 I ever been tackled by a female like that.” He sat up on the shiny floor of the map room, then shook his head, “But that’s another story, let’s get back to the topic.”

Twilight laughed nervously, “Oh yes, let’s.” She helped him up with her magic, “And I do sincerely apologize for my little outburst. I am always, always happy to learn about new magic.” She nudged Spike who stood by her with a very tired expression in his face. He held up a quill and scroll while Twi went on, “Now first, begin by telling me about this mark on your body.”

Jimmy smiled as he spoke, “Well this thing here, we call the Swanhead, for obvious reasons, people like me get this whenever we come in contact with a meteor shard, a magical stone, no bigger than my finger,” He stuck out his right index as he went on, “It goes into our bodies, stings like a bitch, pardon my language, then boom!” He stuck out his left wing and cast a powerful gust of wind which knocked every artifact off a nearby wall.

An aquamarine aura caught everything before it could hit the floor, “Woo! That’s some pretty strong wind magic there!” Starlight had come in after hearing voices and used her magic to save everything from being broken.

Twilight giggled like, “Oh, Star! This is... What’s your name again?”

The bat smirked, “Jimmy Lee Darrell, how’s it goin’?”

Then Twilight introduced him to Star, “Yes, and this, Jimmy, is my ‘star pupil’, Starlight Glimmer!”

The pinkish-purple unicorn smiled, “Hey!”

The bat nodded, “Hey to you too.”

Rainbow came up to them, “Well, it looks like you guys are set up so... I’d better go before I’m late for weather work.”

Jimmy waved to his friend, “Okay, Rainy! Adios and goodbye!”

RD smiled, “See ya later!” and she zoomed off, leaving Jimmy with Twilight and Starlight.

Twilight cleared her throat then, “And now... Maybe this would be better if we moved our discussion to the library. It’s nice and quiet, you can just tell me all you want in there. Star, you wanna come with?”

Star blushed, “Oh, I’d love to, but I’d actually agreed to meet up with Trixie for a little lunch date so...” She smiled, “But it was very nice meeting you, Jimmy!” She waved too before she too went off.

“Aaand we’re alone!” Twi did seem a little miffed at the mention of Trixie, but she was clearly getting better considering the circumstances.
The alicorn looked up to the large bat, “So, shall we retire to the library?”

Jimmy nodded, “Yes, we shall.”

...

Jimmy whistled after seeing Twilight’s extensive library, “Dang, and I thought Jill’s dad had a big library.”

Twilight listened, “This Jill is one of your friends from home?”

The bat snickered, “Friend... Not quite. She’s my best friend’s girlfriend and I’m sure she’s still sore at me about wreckin’ her house once or twice...” he coughed “three times.”

The alicorn nodded, “I see... So, perhaps we can talk more about your powers, your world? I really would like to know.”

The bat took a seat on Twilight’s reading couch, “Well, I would love to tell you, but I was kinda under the impression that you might be able to help with my little misplacement problem.”

The bookish princess quirked an eyebrow at him, “Yes, and I will help you, but I need to understand you more so I can know what I am dealing with here.” She sat with him on the couch while Spike stood by with a quill and scroll, wearing the most bored expression ever.

Jimmy nodded, “Yes, well, let me see, about my power; I can control the wind, I can turn into wind, I’m able to make wind solid so it can cut through things.”

Twilight held a hoof to her chest, “My... So you’ve fought with these powers?”

The bat looked to her with his intimidating red eyes, “I’ve killed with these powers, sometimes in self defense, sometimes not...”

The lavender alicorn seemed intimidated, and Spike definitely looked worried. Twilight cleared her voice, “You’ve killed... In your world? So you’re like a soldier.”

Jimmy shrugged, “In a way... I used to be a part of a group, we called ourselves the Marksmen. Our leader was Jerome Marks and he was ruthless. And I was one of his enforcers, it was a job; one I did for years until circumstances found me on a better path, one where I had friends who I could trust, a girlfriend who loved me, a brother who looked up to me. I did bad things then I found love and now I’m here, alone.”

Twilight dabbed a tear that had appeared in the corner of her eye, “That all sounds very sad."

Jimmy sighed, "Yeah..."

She comforted him using one of her wings, "And whatever it is you'd done before you came here, I won't judge you. I know already too well what it means to find yourself on the wrong path, not personally, but Starlight was bad once, now I trust her with my life. Even our own Princess Luna had her own dark past..." That's when she had an idea. Twilight clapped her front hooves before she shouted, "That's it! The Princesses! Celestia and Luna, they could help you! Celestia is my mentor and a pony I'm proud to call friend, she knows ancient magic from untold pasts!" She hopped off the couch, "Spike!"

The dragon was still standing there, "A letter to Celestia?"

The alicorn blushed, "Yes, you already know me so well."

Jimmy sat back and watched while Twilight dictated a letter for the princess.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I know this letter must be coming to you at such short notice and that you must be very busy right now, but I have a new friend here, a Mr. Jimmy Lee Darrell. It seems he is a visitor from another world, but he has no memory of how he got here. He has great magic, he controls the wind, not to mention, he's a big talking bat! I await your immediate response,

Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle

Twilight cleared her throat, "Good, now send that to the Princess, she needs to see this right away!"

"Okidokey!" Spike rolled out that letter then sealed it with a red ribbon before he blew on it with his green fire.

The scroll blew up in a cloud of smoke then disappeared.

Twilight turned back to Jimmy, "And there you have it, in a minute or two we should get a response. Oh, the princesses may wish to meet you, I'm sure they are just as interested in learning about you. Speaking of..." She climbed back onto the couch sit by him, "Is there anything more you could tell me about yourself or your homeworld?"

Jimmy thought, "Well, before comin' here, I lived in Texas, and Texas is a state in a big diverse country called the United States of America. I've lived there for the last 7 or so years. Before that, I actually lived in Mexico. That's another big country that my state borders, it's where I actually grew up. Then, I was born Jaime Rodriguez."

Twilight nodded politely while listening to him. For that country drawl of his, she'd have thought him to be a little less intelligent, but he really seemed to be a very inquisitive and intelligent individual.

"There's much more I could tell, but it'd take all day and I really don't wanna weigh you down with my sad past if that's alright." He smiled to her.

Twi placed her left hoof on his right leg, "It's okay. You can tell me whenever you feel you're ready; until then, you can consider yourself a welcome guest to the Castle of Friendship, and I thank you for sharing with me." She felt her cheeks color up before Spike suddenly belched out Celestia's response letter.

The dragon patted his chest, "That was fast."

Twi held it up with her magic, "I know, that wasn't even a minute." She opened the scroll to read Celestia's response.

Dear Twilight,

We have already been aware of this bat you wrote of, as my sister Luna has already had the pleasure of meeting him in a dream. We would love a more formal meeting as soon as possible, and eagerly await you.

Yours truly, Celestia

P.S.: He may not be alone, Luna has sensed a similar presence since this morning, be on the lookout.

Twilight's eyes had dilated after she'd read the letter. She looked at Jimmy, "You've already met Luna!?"

The bat smiled smugly, "Let me guess, slightly taller than the rest of you ponies, dark blue, has wings and a horn? Yeah."

Twilight pounced on Jimmy, pinning him against the couch, "Oh my gosh! You've been here two days and one night and you've already met Luna!? How are you not more excited?"

The bat shrugged, "I've met royalty. Had dinner with an emperor once, that was kinda cool. Anyway, the Princesses want to see me? That'd be nice. That Luna is a real cutie, I know I made her blush a little." He chuckled.

Twilight sighed, "Yes, I guess Luna is real pretty, but nothing like Celestia, she is as radiant as the sun itself." Then she blushed when she realized what she'd just said.

Spike had already facepalmed while Jimmy slid in closer with that smirk of his, "Ah, someone here has a crush doesn't she?"

Twilight gulped, "No, of course not! It's not like I worship the ground she walks on or anything."

The bat scoffed, "Yeah, and I'm most definitely not a six foot-tall talking bat with a bad sense of humor." He pinched Twi's cheek and he giggled.

Twilight blushed, "Well, I can see how you and Rainbow are such good friends already." She laughed nervously.

Then a voice rang out from outside the library, "Twilight, darling!"

Spike shot up in an instant, "Rarity!"

Twi giggled, "Go ahead, Spike. We'll be with you soon."

The dragon smiled, "Thanks, Twi!" then he ran out to greet Rarity.'

Twilight and Jimmy stayed behind.

The alicorn bumped him gently, "Welp, I suppose we should go see what Rarity wants." She got down on her four hooves then started to trot, "Come along now."

Jimmy stood up, cracking a few bones in his back from sitting so long, then he followed.

...

When they made it to the foyer, Spike was already helping Rarity by carrying her couture she had made for Ponyville's newest resident.

Rarity greeted both Twilight and Jimmy when she saw them, "Ah, Twilight! You are looking fabulous as usual,: she kissed her friend on her cheek before addressing the bat, "and Jimmy, Rainbow had informed me I could find you here. I have for you your new country western outfit you've requested."

Jimmy checked the shirt first, “Ah, this is pretty nice.” The shirt was black with white embroidering around the shoulders and chest region.

Rarity seemed pleased, “Obviously, I had quite the job needing to make new couture for a two-legged individual and one with your height. I also took your wingspan into consideration. This shirt should fit you fine.”

He took a look at the pants, “Yeah, you did a pretty good job on these.” The pants were a rough texture similar to denim. He doubted they knew about denim jeans in this world, but this was pretty close. His red eyes brightened up as he smiled, “Man, all I would need to complete this image would be some boots, a ten-gallon hat and a red ascot to match my eyes.”

Rarity was already taking notes, “Mhm, boots, cowboy hat, red ascot, these would be easy, and I could have them done within the day, no charge of course.”

Jimmy smiled, “Wow, that is very generous,” then his smile took on a hint of unease, “but I wouldn’t feel right not thanking you properly for your hard work.” He blinked, “I guess if I’m gonna be here a while I’ll need a job.” He scratched his chin.

Rarity smiled, “Such a gent, I do appreciate it.” She waltzed over to the bat.

Jimmy got down on his knees so she could get closer.

Without a hint of hesitation, Rarity pecked Jimmy on his cheek before whispering in his ear, “That’s thanks for last night, you naughty bat.”

The bat snickered, “Glad to be a part of your wet dreams.”

She playfully smacked him with a hoof, “Oh you!” a clear blush appearing in her cheeks as she cleared her throat, “Well then, I must be off, I have appointments to make, Minuette is due back for her fitting and I’ll need to divvy up my schedule so I also have time to work on your accoutrements. Ta-ta!” She waved to the bat then to her friends as she departed.

Jimmy snickered, “Dang, these are some nice duds.” He brushed a hand over the smooth cotton of his new shirt.

Spike seemed less than pleased at the moment. He muttered, “Yeah, I guess.” He walked away, not in the least happy with seeing Rarity kiss the bat, though he didn’t hear what she had whispered to him.

Twilight shook her head, “Don’t worry about him. He’s had the biggest crush on Rarity ever since we moved to Ponyville.” She checked to see that the dragon was gone then leaned in, “So what did Rarity mean about last night?” She had a playful smirk like she’d already suspected what might have happened.

Jimmy wasn’t shy with the details, “Oh nothing extreme, it’s just that when Rainy took me to Rarity’s yesterday to get me measured for new clothing, I might have teased her a bit. And I got a strong nose, I could tell I was havin’ an effect on her. Apparently it started after they asked me about my species.”

Twilight tilted her head, “Oh?”

The bat grinned, “Yeah... I’m a vampire bat.”

Twi flinched, “Like, drinking blood kind of vampire?”

His eyes glowed red as he locked eyes with her, “Yeah... Now, I don’t drink blood to sustain myself. If I’m hungry, I’ll just eat anythin’, but as far as drinking blood goes.” He tickled Twi’s chin, making her shiver the same as he did to Rarity before, “I save that stuff for the bedroom.”

The alicorn stepped back with her hind legs clinched, “Well, I can’t say I ever thought about... that. Not that I’m thinking about sex that much anyway.” She blushed, “Uh,” change of subject, “So... You said you wanted to get some work to pay off Rarity?”

The bat’s eyes returned to normal, “Yes, why? Do you have any ideas?”

Twilight nodded, “Yeah, there’s plenty of things you could do around Ponyville. I could refer you to some of my friends.” She thought while collecting a piece of parchment then began to write on it, “Mmm, Applejack’s always looking for extra help on the farm, you could try there. Any experience in farm work?”

The bat crossed his wings, “Nah, as country as I may sound, I’m a city bat more than anythin’, but hard work on a farm is somethin’ I could do.”

She nodded, “Mhm, Sugarcube Corner is another good local business. They make all the best sweets there. My friend, Pinkie Pie works and lives there and her baked goods are out of this world!”

The bat grimaced and he waved a hand, “Eh, not too crazy with the sweets."

Twi didn’t seem surprised. He didn’t look like a guy who liked sweet stuff, not with a body like that. She shook her head, focus! “Okay, there’s Fluttershy, she takes care of her animals, and she could use some help.” She walked around while Jimmy watched her.

“Mayor Mare has her work at town hall, a few mares around town need a good foalsitter to watch their fillies.” She looked at him, “Yeah, probably not a good idea.” She scribbled that idea out, “Filthy Rich needs help down at the store, there’s a lot actually.”

The bat hummed, “I’ll probably just stick with that first option. Farm work does the body good, and I gotta keep this body good!” Then, he remembered he was still in his loincloth, “But first, I need a wardrobe change! Do you have a place I could go try these on?”

Twilight smiled, “Oh yeah, sure. I can just show you where you can get dressed. Just follow me.”

...

“And here’s the bathroom, just go in, get dressed and then I could escort you to Sweet Apple Acres.” Twilight smiled to the bat.

Jimmy smiled back, “You know, you ponies sure are trusting of a six-foot tall carnivore.”

Twi waved him off, “Oh, don’t be silly. As far as I’ve seen, you have been very friendly, if a little bit of a perv, but you’ve really given no reason for me to distrust you. It would seem judgmental of me if I got upset just because of your diet.”

Jimmy opened the bathroom door, “Well, that is mighty nice of ya.”

Twi beamed with pride, “Well, I am the Princess of Friendship, being nice is sort of my thing.”

The bat snickered, “And here I thought it was being a cute little nerd.” He closed the door before she could fire back.

Instead, Twilight shook her head as her cheeks turned bright pink, “Oh... He called me cute.” She trotted away to give Jimmy his privacy.

On the other side of the door, the bat had taken off his loincloth. Now he’d get to put on some real clothes. He sniffed his armpits, “Eh, shower first.” He pulled back the curtain on the shower stall. He sighed, “Well, I guess a tuna can would be less cramped than this.” He shrugged, “Oh well. Make do!” He stepped in, having to lower his head because of the low ceiling, “You’d think a castle would have higher tops.”

...

Eventually, Jimmy had finished his impromptu shower. He’d used some lovely lavender scented shampoo that had been in there. It made him smell and feel clean. After drying himself using his wind magic, the bat put on his new pants Rarity had made for him. It didn’t matter to him that he had no underwear to go underneath, the bat went commando all the time anyway. The pants were a remarkably nice fit, if a bit snug in the middle. He could ask Rarity for a few small changes, he guessed to himself. Next, he tried on the shirt.

“Oh!” he exclaimed as he felt his wings slide through slits that Rarity had thoughtfully sewn into the sides to accommodate his wingspan. He pulled back to see, “Dang... That’s creative! Aw, so nice to make it special like that!” The shirt was a nice fit too. He buttoned up while he looked at himself in the bathroom mirror. He looked dapper. The black cowboy shirt with its embroidering that looked like snowflakes in a black tapestry, there was just one thing missing to complete this little ensemble. The bat looked around the bathroom until his bright red eyes found what he was looking for. “Found ja!”

The bat stepped out in his new shirt and pants. His straight black hair had been tied up into a ponytail now. He tugged on the ribbon he’d used to make sure the knot was still strong. It was bright red, just like his eyes. He giggled, “Now all I need is the hat and boots and I’d be a true country gentleman!”

He looked around for a certain purple alicorn who had gone missing now, “Twilight!” He walked down the hall in search of the bookish princess. He hadn’t gone far before his strong sense of smell told him where she was. He grinned, “Well then.”

He followed the smell until his ears began to pick up minute gasps from behind a pair of crystalline double doors. He’d teased her that much, huh? He listened in, his right ear pressed against the door.

On the other side, Twilight was in bed, biting a front hoof while she used her own magic to pleasure herself. She was almost embarrassed she let that bat’s teasing affect her this much. She never felt this around any stallions before, she’d almost begun to think of herself as either asexual or a filly fooler. Now this bat comes in and brings such a reaction out of her, who was this Jimmy Lee Darrell?

Jimmy’s red eyes glowed, “Yeah...” then he shook his head, “No, no! Bad Jimmy! This is a friend, you just got her to trust ya, ya don’t wanna ruin that now!”

Crazy Jimmy still ate away at him though, “But she smells so delectable... I’ll bet she tastes like grape soda.”

Jimmy yelled at himself, “No! Friends don’t take advantage of friends!”

Crazy Jimmy snickered, “You’ve been taking advantage since ya got here and you know it! It’s our energy, the energy from our shard that’s affecting them everywhere we go. The greedy little thing needs feeding, Jimmy...”

Jimmy held his hands over his face, “Stop! I can’t!”

By then, Twilight had heard Jimmy having his inner debate with himself. She immediately stopped what she had been doing then swung open her doors, accidentally smacking Jimmy in the face.

THWACK!

“Gasp! Oh Celestia, Jimmy! I’m so sorry!” She ran over to the bat as he held his face where he’d been struck.

The bat’s nose was bleeding, “Ow...”

Twilight huddled over him, “Oh no!” She was almost in tears from having hurt her friend.

Jimmy calmed her, “Hey, hey, Twi! It’th okay! I acthually kinda needed thath!” His speech was somewhat muffled by his busted nose.

Twilight shook her head, “But Jimmy, I got blood all over your new shirt.”

He balked, “Please, you can get blood outta cotton easy. Now stop worryin’, I don’t like seeing that face all upset.” He brushed her tears while his eyes glowed again. This time it wasn’t Crazy Jimmy’s red glow, but a more pleasant, angelic glow while his nose healed in a near instant.

Twilight looked, “Wow... You can heal yourself too?”

Jimmy shook his head, “No... It’s the shard. It protects me. If I’m injured it regenerates for me, but only when I’m calm.” He sniffed after his nose had fixed itself in a matter of seconds. He petted Twilight while he laid there beneath her, “You’ve got some pretty eyes, by the way.”

Twilight laughed from his little compliment before she realized her close her muzzle was to his. She blushed, “Um...”

He noticed too, “Yeah...” He also noticed a small bit of moisture downward, “Uh, Twi... You’re still a little wet back there.”

She gasped. She’d just been pleasuring herself while thinking of this bat. Now she was crouched over him while her marehood still dripped. She covered herself with her wings and she turned in shame, “I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean for that to happen.”

The bat nodded, “Yeah, clearly you didn’t... Look, Twi, it’s okay, I ain’t even mad.” He sat up to try and comfort her.

She sobbed, “No! I’m a princess now! I’m supposed to be in better control of my emotions and... And I feel like such a school filly right now.” She flinched when Jimmy wrapped her up in his leathery wings.

“Shush now! You ain’t no school filly, if you’ll pardon the double negatives, Twi.” He felt her laugh from that, “It’s perfectly normal that you feel something for another person, or in your case, another pony. Being a princess, it’s a nice title and all, but that doesn’t change you.”

She giggled, “Bad example... I was a unicorn before so becoming a princess literally did change me.”

Jimmy sighed, “I’m saying that you are still you. You have wings, a title, and a whole circle of friends that look to you for answers, but you’re still Twilight, a cute little egghead with feelings and wants like any normal girl or pony.”

Twilight felt so warm in his grasp. She nuzzled his neck, “Thank you...”

“Aw, it’s nothin’.” He petted her smooth mane, felt her soft fur underneath while Crazy Jimmy reared his ugly head again, “What did I say?”
He pushed back his inner demon. This wasn’t that. Then he felt a pair of lips press against his chin.

Twi pulled back with a light smack, “Was that... I’m sorry I-”

So he’d just been kissed by a princess, a princess who to his better knowledge may just be affected by his shard’s desire to replenish itself. He held Twilight’s cheek when she tried to look away, “Shush... That was a good kiss.” He smiled.

Twilight felt encouraged, “Thank you... Would you like another one?”

Jimmy smiled, “You don’t have to ask, and try a little higher up this time.”

Twilight blushed before leaning up then kissing Jimmy directly on the lips.

The bat caught her then, placing both hands on either cheek while he held her and kissed her in return.

In the back of his mind, as things started to progress, Crazy Jimmy snickered, “Score one!”
