The Love Story of Rosewood and Carved Oak
The First Time Meeting Her
I was sitting there, just doing this dumb ass work sheet. I'm Carved Oak, a pegasus with a peachy colored coat. I have a cutie mark of nothing. I am as of now, a blank flank. My age is about... 13 and 3/4.
It was a Wednesday, but it was not a normal day at North West Fillydelphia Middle. It was actually character day, a day where anypony could dress as any fictional character. Today, I was dressed as Sky, a character from 'Final Journey VII'. No pony knew who I was.
"Hey, you're Sky, right?" A female voice, something I don't hear often. At least, not a kind one.
"Umm, yeah. You're one of the first person who knows who I'm dressed as." I say with fake confidence.
"Kinda hard to believe that. You've got a big ass sword on your back." She chuckled as the end.
"True, but, I didn't expect any girl to realize imma game character." I moved my hoof around.
The bell rang over head, making many students jump from their seats.
"You want to meet up at lunch and talk about games?" She asked me with the cutest of smiles.
I felt my face grow warm, a blush. "Umm. Yeah! Just look for the guy in the wig."
"Hehe, you got it. See you later, Sky." She turned and walked away, almost swaying her hips.
"Damn, an alicorn wants to talk to me? Nono, a female wants to talk to me who isn't
"Oak, come on and walk me to class!" My mare friend, Sour Pear.
"Sorry, I was thinking." I relay as I stand up, straightening my shirt.
"I don't care, let's go." She almost yelled at me. My ears floped back onto my head, going into my hair.
I grabbed my jacket, and lied in on my back. We begin to walk down the hall. We walked into the same classroom, going to the seats that were assigned to us.
She seems really nice. I hope that she likes the same games as me" I thought to myself.
The class goes as I thought, boring as fuck. I didn't really pay much attention. I couldn't stop thinking about that alicorn.
"And that's the end of class, I'll see you all tomorrow." The old asshat of a teacher said.
"See ya around mate" Bite Sized, my old friend.
"Bye." I reply.
It's lunch time now, I'm sitting there, waiting for her.
"Why, hello there, Sky ." I hear the quite, lovely voice from eairler.
I spun around, "Why hello, Mystery lady"
"Didn't I tell you my name?" She asked, with the cutest of derpy looks
"Nope, we didn't get to. Class ended too soon." I replied
"Well, hello. I'm Rosewood Blaze. It's a pleasure to meet you." She reached out her hoof for a shack.
"The name's Carved Oak, the pleasure is all mine" My lips meet her hoof as I gave it a small kiss, to show her my respect.
"My, My, My, such a Gentlestallion ."
"Haha, I try, at least." We share a laugh about that.
"So, how are you doing today, mister Dragon Eyes?" She asked as she took a seat across from me
I studied her face for a moment, these cute little dimdles from her smile and a few freckles made her look so pretty, I could believe how cute she was.
How long have I been starring at her, too long, say anything, just , fucking, SOMETHING!"
"I'm doing rather well, today" I say with fack gentlemen-ness
"Same here."
That went better expected, I wonder....."
"Hey, do you like any shooters?" I asked. Might as well break that ice
"Yeah, I play a like Colt of Duty every now and again. But, I really like RPGs and adventure games." She said, getting very excited about that topic, making her unzip her hoodie a bit. Some small tuffs of fur come. She doesn't really mind too much. More then likely because of her being an alicorn.
Okay, see. For a Pegasus, chest fluff is only for a special somepony to see and play with. With alicorns, specific things don't carry over. Like the importance of chest fluff, and wing touches.
"So, do you watch any TV shows?"
Oh fuck, was she talking this whole time?!
"Yeah, a few. Mostly just anime and this one other show....." I am hesitant to tell her about it the other show I watched. It was only one time. But I really liked it.
" Is it..... Star battles, Dragons in DragonVale? What is it?"
" It's....... Umm....... My Very Cute Manticore."
Authors note, yes, that is an aligory for MLP:FIM. But, I'm tired and it's 6:00 in the morning so I don't give half of my left nut right now
"Oh my gosh, you watch that show too?" She looked shocked, I was shocked.
"Are you fucking with me?"
"Hehe, no. That shows one of my favorites. I'm serious."
"Woah, I never thought that I'd find anypony else that liked that show." I begin to scratch my forearm, embarrassed that she knew so much about me so fast.
"Hey, a quick question." She spoke up
"Oh, umm, sure. Go ahead" I sputtered out.
"Who was that girl that came in to the class room? I heard her shout at you." She looked a little concerned about it. About me.
"Oh, that's my marefriend. Her name's Sour Pear. She's been in a tizzy all day."
"Well, I hope you two work it out." The bell signals us that lunch is over.
"Hey, what class are you going to?" She asked standing up
"Digital works."
"Hey, I'm going there too!" We both got gitty, bonsing up and down
The class went rather nice. We had to do group activities, and Rosewood was very happy to join on my work. We started the assignment, working hard until it was something to turn in.
"That is pretty good," The teacher complemented the work we put in. "you two can play on the computers if you want to."
We troted over to our computers, that were only 2 other computers apart. I pulled up a game site that the school allowed us to play on, and she pulled up PoneTube. She and I both played until we had to leave the class.
"What class are you heading off to?" She looked at me with hopefully eyes.
"Chemistry" I state plainly
"Shit, I'm going to P.E" Rosewood looked rather downtrodden.
"Hey, we'll see each other again, I hope?"
"Sure thing."
I'm home now. I wasn't able to find Rosewood again before the school day ended. I was playing a new game I had got from my Father, Wasteland: New Pagasus. I had really hoped to see that mare again. She seemed to like me.
