I was patroling the castle, like any other night when I found Princess Luna staring at me when I turned around.
"Greetings Arrats! We noticed that you look lonely and decided to accompany you!" The Princess seemed very cheery, maybe too cheery.
"As a member of the lunar guard, I am not permitted to socialize with you, My only objective is to protect you Princess Luna." I stood straight as I always did, even as she giggled.
"Please, there is no need to talk like that around us Arrats." her words made me slouch slightly, and my eyes soften.
"O-Ok? The Seargent told me to always talk like that, especially in front of you..." I looked away with a small blush, but her smile didn't falter, which weirded me out for some reason.
"Would you like to accompany us for a walk?" I did nothing but stare wide eyed, did Luna, the Princess of the Moon, ask me to walk with her? Is that even allowed? I don't know!
"Sure?" As we began walking to our destination, I can't help but feel uneasy, the princess has been acting really strangely around me lately. I hope I'm not getting fired!
"Ah, we have arrived." I looked up from the ground to see that we're on the balcony. To be honest, I've always preferred the night to the day, far more peaceful.
"It's... beautiful..." I turned and noticed Princess Luna's cheeks were pink, okay, she's being really weird!
"T-There is somewhere else we'd like to take you." I only nodded as I followed her, noticing a slight sway in her walk, not like a drunk sway, more like a "i'm gonna flaunt the goods" sway and I felt the heat rise in my cheeks. almost hypnotized by the sway, I barely registered that we stopped, and then I realized, it was her bedroom...
"T-This is your bedroom princess..." I stand still as I take in the details of her room. Walls Painted a dark blue. Curtains that are slightly lighter than the walls spread open on the windows, shelves filled with books of every kind,plus multiple moon based cider mugs among other small things, in the center is a bed defenitely big enough for two ponies.
"I uh... like your bedroom Princess Luna..."
"Thank you Arrats, but that is not what we brought you here for." I notice a slight blush on her face as she looks at me.
"Arrats, We have known you since the day you became one of our personal guards, since that day you have done your job. You are more focused than most of our guards, and if we might add, more handsome than most as well." Where the hay was she going with this??
"Princess?" things are starting to go together in my head, her unusually cheery mood, the blushes, the sways, I think Princess luna likes me! within seconds, her face was inches away from mine, her eyes half lidded.
"To put it simply Arrats, we have grown quite fond of you over the past few months. and you've been such a good guard to us, we believe you deserve a reward." I don't have time to respond before she kisses me.
