Power Ponies 4: The Phantom Blot
A blue portal opened in the middle of Mane Street in Maretropolis startling many ponies as a yellow clawed hand reached out of it. Pulling itself through revealing it as a wirewolf, however instead of it's usual blue, he was yellow, his fingers that his claws were connected to along with his wrist joint a bright red, his joint around his shells like his neck along with his shins and his lower core connected to his legs right below his shell a foggy black, his right eye a blood red, and his left eye blue with a green pupil.
Right behind him was a wirewolf colored similar to him save for his eyes being a calm orange as the portal closed behind him. "Why couldn't you bring the idiot along to visit this place?" He asked.
"Juan you haven't been here, this place is nice it'll help unearth then mellow out all that unyielding rage you have buried beneath you."
"Alfreda you can't die so I can try out all the ways I can kill him on you to see if it'll work."
"Like you said I can't die so kinda pointless." A pink streak zoomed by Alfreda to which he smirked. "Juan, meet my friends: The Masked Matterhorn, Filli-Second, Zapp, Radiance, Misstress Marevelous, and Saddle Rager, or as you may better know them, The Power Ponies!" Alfreda yelled gesturing to the group of costumed mares when a baby dragon with a mask cape and boots came through. "Hey you forgot about me!"
"Humdrum I'm gonna be honest, Juan won't give two applebucks if you're part of the group or not."
"He's right, in fact I have no respect for a single one of you, or anyone for that matter save for this Zbornak I met and Red Horn."
"Well be amazed to meet some more friends of mine and theirs, you know them as Shadow Blot, Masque, Timberwolf, Dusk, Rodan, and Devastator, you know them as, The Mighty Machines!" Alfreda yelled gesturing to the Wirewolves behind Juan to which Juan turned around to see them. "Allow me to spell it out. Yo no. Dar. Un maldito. Pendejo."
"Woah Juan language there's kids reading and ladies present."
"Relax we can slip it past, one of the translations of that last one literally mean coward, so it's not untrue."
"What brings you by Alfreda?" Matterhorn asked.
"Did you bring more cupcakes for us after the last time?" Filli-Second asked.
"So you admit to eating the last ones?" Zapp asked Filli-Second.
"I only admit to the truth...yeah it was me."
"I didn't bring any but I can make some while I'm here." Alfreda replied.
"I'm here because he needs someone to make intelligent conversation from his own universe. I only came because he said there was an evil alternate Matterhorn here I could kill imagining she was Anti-Matter. However looking around I realize that was a lie and I already know I'm disappointed with this universe due to lack of Red Horn."
"Exposition and confessions aside I'm here to take an inmate of Arkhoof I helped you beat back to my universe."
"Hey we already got him under maximum lockdown, you're gonna have to portal on back home if you want that nutjob." Marevelous replied.
"Not him you can have him, The one in the superheated tank."
Juan took out a shotgun and blasted it into the air annoyed. "Alfreda stop playing the pronoun game and tell me who the heck you're talking about!"
The figure in the dark cloak trailing smoke walked slowly though the cavern, soon finding himself face to face with a large black furred three headed dog guarding a mountain behind him, Cerberus, guardian of Tartarus. Cerberus growled only for the figure to reach out a clawed black hand to pet him to which the guard dog moved to the side growling in delight as the figure crawled up the mountain. As he got to the top, he saw the top of the mountain finding two identical skinny frail centaurs.
"Which one of you is the Lord formally known, as Arcanus?" The figure asked, his voice dark and foreboding.
The centaurs looked nervous at him before they spoke up, their voices identical. "He is." They said pointing to each other.
The figure rolled his dark purple eyes. "Melody and Serena abandoned all their plans of avenging you."
"Those traitorous fish!" The centaur on the right yelled before he covered his mouth. The figure smiled as his eyes glowed and a purple portal opened near Arcanus. Dark purple tentacles reached out from the portal and wrapped around Arcanus' limbs. No matter how he could resist, he didn't have any strength to actually pull but had it to scream as the tentacles pulled him through. The figure looked at Tirek giving him a nod before he jumped into the portal that then disappeared.
"Well that's great. Now I'm stuck with no one to talk to again." Tirek said to himself annoyed.
The portal opened in an abandoned warehouse throwing Arcanus to the ground. The figure pulled himself through as it closed behind him as he dusted himself off. "Oh you have no idea how good it is to be back home. Well your home, but I can get used to this."
"Who are you to bring me from the depths of Tartarus for some sick game? An agent of or someone that wants to stop Grogar and gain the credit from it?"
"Oh my poor delusional Arcanus, I can't believe that you don't remember your oldest and most trusted friend." The figure took off his cape revealing himself as a bipedal four armed black crocodile demon with a pair of curved horns on top of his head. Arcanus backed up in shock at who he saw before him.
"K-kul'as? But you're dead!"
"As Samuel Clemins once wrote, 'The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.' "
"W-well thank whatever saved you from the brink of death, I commend you on the miracle of your resurrection." Arcanus said in a respectful bow.
"Feelings mutual as it will be a miracle Arcanus, if you survive since I know you left me to die. Nice trick using reverse psychology to make me want to find the Golden Apple instead of playing straight with me, but rest assured Starscream to my Megatron, I have made many mistakes, but there is one mistake I will not make again." Kul'as snapped his fingers and the room around them seemed to melt as something swirled between them taking on mass until it stood two times the height of Kul'as, a black horned demon with red eyes and a sickly web like mouth who smiled looking at them. "Meet my Dragon as the term is used, the Phantom Blot. Do you have it?"
Phantom Blot nodded taking something out of him revealing it as a large bell. Arcanus gasped at what it was. "The Bell of Darkness? But how?"
"A whole mess with multiverse theory. But worth it when I sucked the dark magic out of Goat Curry's life force."
"But his life force became dark magic."
"That's what makes it so funny." Phantom Blot replied, his voice deep and menacing to which he chuckled a little as he tossed the bell to the ground then Kul'as destroyed it with a blast of his magic releasing all that magic which he quickly sucked into his own being. Kul'as chuckled as he felt all the dark magic surging through him.
"This was your plan? To siphon that concentration of Dark magic then use it to conquer Equestria?" Arcanus asked. "You could accomplish so much more with that much power."
"Oh Arcanus, you think so small, I don't really want all this power, where's the fun in that? I just needed enough power to bring back someone I need for this operation." Kul'as' eyes concentrated as he used the dark magic to create a cloud of dark energy which crackled before becoming a pure black portal that moved as if it was a mouth, it began to twist as if trying to hack something up before finally hacking something up. Arcanus was shocked to see the familiar red breadbox sized baby dragon who struggled to get up. "Creeper?" Arcanus asked
"Worthless Tartus betraying Lord Kul'as like that then using-" Creeper said before he looked at his surroundings seeing Phantom Blot, Arcanus and-
"Lord Kul'as!" Creeper yelled flying up to hug the demon only to go right through him. Kul'as chuckled a little. "Good to see you too little buddy, don't worry about my stress relief, Arcanus has that covered, and about that hug I'll need to take a raincheck on it."
"You wasted the greatest and irreplaceable piece of pure heartless dark magic to bring back that suck up!?" Arcanus yelled.
Kul'as rolled his eyes gut punching the centaur before hitting him with some dark magic. "Yeah, I care about my lackeys, unfortunately you're not one of them. I do need you with some strength for my plan."
Arcanus struggled to get up but then looked at himself, he had a light muscular build coming up to Kul'as' eyes in height, his skin a dark red, and he felt his horns finding them back but not his mohawk and still had bracelets.
"Yeah that's only enough to give you a running start against Cadence and Matterhorn, you better beg for mercy if you're against Saddle Rager." Kul'as told Arcanus as he began to flicker. "This has only been an astral projection, I'm kind of preoccupied at the moment and I had trouble keeping this up as it is, especially giving you a boost and bringing back Creeper. Phantom Blot will fill you in on what's happened and what's the plan."
"What's to stop me from leaving and taking this world's magic?"
"1. I removed your magic taking abilities.2. If you do I'll give Phantom Blot the green light to feast on you, I've been told humans taste like pork, that might be true about your top half though. Almost forgot my astral projection is going to explode." Kul'as' astral projection then cracked before Phantom Blot grabbed Creeper and pushing Arcanus into the astral projection as it exploded.
Kul'as gasped for breath as the runes surrounding his cell dimmed as he stopped using his magic, wiping some of the sweat off his snout as he realized his orange prison suit was now wet with some sweat. "Audiences like this could kill Vaudeville." Kul'as muttered looking at the ancient runes.
"So could I." Juan said looking at him in his cell.
"You look familiar, you must be that Juan guy Alfreda mentioned when he was talking to himself next to that green idiot."
"Alfreda called him that too?"
"No I call people names based on level of annoyance and personality, speaking of which if it isn't my old friends:" Kul'as said looking at the Might Machines.
"The Gremlin Maker."
"What does that even mean?" Shadow Blot asked.
"The halfbreed Changeling."
"I resemble that remark!" Masque replied.
"The boring of the Phoenix."
"Is that a movie reference? I don't get it." Rodan asked.
"The Wooden Waspinator."
"Hey I stay in less pieces then him!" Timberwolf replied.
"Finn the Traitor."
"Hey at least I'm free." Dusk retorted.
"And Metal Groot."
"I can say more words but many of them right now are profanity directed at you."
"And your marefriends." Kul'as said looking at the Power Ponies. "Egghead, Cupcakes, Drama Queen, Tomboy everyone's shipped with, Country Orphan, Cowardly Time Bomb, Hatchling and their multiversal friend..." Kul'as stopped looking at Alfreda for a second then smiled. "Idiot."
"You're one to talk, I never got myself jailed." Alfreda replied.
"Did I?" Kul'as replied.
"Yeah, you did."
"Did I?"
"Yeah, yes, you got captured and jailed with no way to plan to get out."
"Do you think I didn't want that?"
"No-wait dang it now I'm questioning myself." Alfreda said annoyed.
"Or are you questioning my chosen speech pattern that confuses you?"
"Just ignore him Alfreda, Kul'as probably spiked his water." Juan told Alfreda.
"You may take my freedom, but never my pride." Kul'as replied before he walked to the back of the room where there was a giant hamster water bottle and drank from it like a hamster.
Juan looked at this with total confusion before looking back at the Mighty Machines to Dusk. "Are you sure he was really competent when you worked for him."
"I can't make up how serious he was."
"Remember Juan a near death experience can mess you up like that." Alfreda told Juan.
"Yeah you, you have two other personalities thanks to it."
"Okay enough about you, let's kill me. Wait I have that backwards. Hold on why are you here in the first place? Come to say hi to your momma?" Kul'as asked.
"I AM NOBODY'S MOTHER!" Mane-iac screamed from her cell in rage banging her head against the wall.
"Nop I already visited my mother, we're here to take your friend made of plum pudding." Alfreda said pointing to the cell next to Kul'as that had large flame under it while the cell itself was a container with some type of purple sludge inside that seemed to try and move around.
"C'mon! Don't take my best friend. I tell him my planned monologues."
"Seriously don't take him!" A prisoner exclaimed.
"He wouldn't stop talking before that tank came in!" Another one yelled.
"It's true we've seen the footage, most of the riots happen because he doesn't shut up. It's annoying to clean up." Devastator brought up.
"But it's fun to watch." Masque replied.
"Well too bad, we're collecting this Phantom Blot then hanging out a little before leaving. But first Matterhorn can you show me where that other Phantom Blot's being held."
"Sure thing." Matterhorn replied before guiding everyone.
Kul'as looked at them until the door closed and sighed slicking his horns back taking a towel off the floor of his cell to wipe off the rest of the sweat.
"Other Phantom Blot?" The Real Phantom Blot gurgled one of his sickly green eyes poking through the sludge looking at him.
"Easy my friend please hold all questions until the end of the show that hasn't even begun yet." Kul'as assured him getting in a pretzel position and meditating as he chuckled a little.
