After Twilight becomes an alicorn, she has been feeling down and depressed because she feels like she is doing nothing to deserve being an alicorn. Then she goes to the Canterlot library and finds a book titled Cipher which has a yellow triangle with a eye and hands with a tie on his middle. Curious, she picks it out and teleports back to her tree house. When she picks a page she sees the words to summon Bill Cipher, she reads the words, summoning Bill Cipher. After that, he saw her, and freaked her out a bit before asking what she wants. She answers.
