It was a sunny day in ponyville, not a cloud in the sky was seen. The ponies were enjoying their day as well, not really caring about any fears. It was summer, and as we all know, summer is bakery season. So of course, Sugarcube Corner's buisiness was booming.
There were THOUSANDS in line waiting for a cupcake or a muffin (yes, Derpy was there). Pinkie was earning so much money, she can spread buisiness all over Equestria!
Pinkie was taking an order from a shy looking guy, which reminded the party pony about Fluttershy. The man said, " iwouldlikea..." "Excuse me?'' asked the pink pony. "uhh...iwouldlike" "Could you speak up?'' "iwould" At that point, Pinkie could not stop laughing. His resemblence to fluttershy was so matching, that she thought the two could... well, you know what I mean. "Wow, rude." said the customer in an irritated tone.
"WAIT! COME BACK!" yelled the frantic Pinkie. "IT'S NOT WHAT YOU- aw shoot. I really liked that guy." In shock, Pinkie walked over to her friend, Rainbow Dash, for some tips on how to stop laughing so much.
"Well," Rainbow chuckled, "You ARE the element of laughter. So why do you want to stop laughing?" The party pony replied, "It's a long story."
After one suprisingly short story, Rainbow Dash said, "Look. I know you feel bad for him. But you gotta lighten up! Be the laughing pony I know you can be."
''You know what?" replied Pinkie, "YOU'RE RIGHT! IMGONNADOTHISANDTHATANDBLAHBLAHBLAHASDFQWERTYZXCV-" Rainbow just facehoofed as she whizzed away into Ponyville. "What the hay have I done?"
Meanwhile, A depressed pony was sitting on a bench. His mom had just passed away, which made him very sad. While remorsing, Pinkie was doing cartwheels behind him, laughing like there's no tomorrow. He said nothing running away crying. Did Pinkie notice? NOPE. She just kept on trying to make the world happy by laughing ALL the time. Even though, that's the exact OPPOSITE of what she was doing.
Derpy Hooves was moping around sadly. She recently lost her job as a mailmare (admit it, you feel worse for Derpy right now than the pony whose mom just died. Heartless bastard.) She was even crying! (we all know you're sad now.) What does Pinkie do? Let me give you four words to describe it. HA HA HA HAHA. That nade Derpy sadder, and tears were all over ponyville. (Dammit, now I'm sad too. CURSE YOU ME FOR WRITING THAT!)
Meanwhile, Lyra was sad too. She had recently broke up with Bon Bon (no, it's not canon.) Suddenly she heard laughing behind her. C'mon, take a wild guess of who it was. *insert Jeperody music here* OOPS! YOUR SECOND IS UP! It's "What is Pinkie Pie".
Also, someone in ponyville was writing a horrible fanfiction called "The Element Of Laughter". Yes, Pinkie is laughing as I type. Damn I'm a fast writer.
Luckily, Twilight Sparkle was a witness to this chaos, so she gathered her friends in her library.
"Girls", Twilight announced, "Do you know why you're here?"
"uh, nope" said Fluttershy. For some reason, all the other ponies responded with pretty much the same thing.
"Pinkie, your friend, is going on a rampage" Twilight announced firmly. "Oh, I hope it's not in my boutique, cause then all my dresses will be ruined" Rarity said in a worried tone. (excuse me if I spelt boutiqe wrong, this thing doesn't have spell check.)
"Not that kind of rampage" Twilight explained, "She's on a LAUGHING rampage, and she's hurting everyponies feelings."
"what do we do," Fluttershy mumbled.
"We'll just have to try to stop her." said Twilight.
I seriously don't think she knows how hard this is going to be. Pretty much, she's screwed.
My OC, as the smart one, (by the way, this OC bit is a joke), suggested they DON'T try to stop her, cause eventually she'd get tired of laughing. Twilight's response? "Yeah, whatever." *sigh* Let's just hope for the best everypony.
So the Mane 5 set out to find the laughing pony, trying to find directions from everypony they see crying. They all eventually found her, still laughing her flank off.
"Alright girls, let's kill Pinkie Pie!", said Twilight Sparkle.
The rest of the Mane 6 was looking at her in shock, even Pinkie herself.
"That was a joke."
Twilight used a spell she learnt years ago, but never bothered to ever use, to project Pinkie her memories of her times at the rock farm. There was one problem - Pinkie was laughing at how silly it was to not be smiling at all!
"Dammit, I knew this spell would never come to use!" screamed the purple mare.
These ponies were in some deep shit now. Time to bust out the Elements of Harmony!
