Friendship Games: Bad Ending

Mourning

A week had passed since Twilight's memorial service, and two days had passed since the girl's birthday. CHS would take a minute's silence in memory of Twilight, and a small grave next to the portal to Equestria was where she lay, as this was where she had first crossed eyes with Sunset. Crystal Prep ended up taking a bigger hit. The Shadowbolts all grieved Twilight's loss, and they all decided to join the science groups that Twilight enjoyed. Principal Cinch was arrested on accounts of student blackmail and neglect due to her actions at the Friendship Games. Shining Armour, Twilight's brother, suffered tremendously and had left Twilight's room the exact way in which she had left it. Cadence, Twilight's sister-in-law, helped Shining Armour through the tough times, and would always make sure Twilight's final resting place was as fresh as it could be. Spike, Twilight's dog, went into the care of Fluttershy as he couldn't cope living in the house anymore, and the fact that he could talk freaked Shining Armour out.

However, it appeared as though Sunset Shimmer suffered the most out of anybody.

Sunset often stayed on her own, never happy, no matter how much her friends tried. She just couldn't get the memories out of her head, the ones with Twilight. She had written to Princess Twilight about the event, and she got a reply, which read:

"Dear Sunset, I am truly sorry to hear this news. I understand how upsetting this must be for you, and I will try to come around when I can, but that may be a while. Being a princess is hard work, but trying to make the time for those who need it is even harder. I know how you may feel like you can't go through this, but Pinkie Pie and the others will always be there for you. They don't blame you for what happened, and they can help you. Until next time, Princess Twilight Sparkle."

Sunset Shimmer got up, allowing the smallest sign of a smile to cross her face, the first sign she might be moving on, and walked over to her friends, who were beckoning for her.
