//-------------------------------------------------------// A Big, Bad Decision -by livi423- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// I Just Wanted My Cutie Mark //-------------------------------------------------------// I Just Wanted My Cutie Mark Sweetie Belle took a deep breath. The crusaders had had an exciting morning, making bits as street performers. Then they had headed to Sugar Cube Corner, and stuffed themselves silly. She and her friends were hopelessly lost inside Princess Twilight's castle. Apple bloom had insisted on telling the other two how she was a great directionist, she could probably get a cutie mark in map-making or being whatever that term was...GPS. It didn't exist, but ponies sure wish it did. "What does GPS stand for?" Apple Bloom asked again. Scootaloo rolled her eyes. "It was just letters that sounded nice together, and used to define being given directions by a voice and ever-changing map." Scootaloo had memorized it, Apple Bloom was so forgetful! Sweetie Belle activated her horn. A rush of adrenaline passed through her, and her magic became stronger with the beat of her heart. The magnetic pull on her horn told her she was near where she was supposed to be. The pull got stronger as she ventured through the crystalline castle. Her friends followed her, Sweetie Belle more sure they were getting close than half an hour ago. Apple Bloom gasped as she saw a door. "I reckon whats'a ever in there is a mighty important!" She said, trying to imitate Applejack.  Scootaloo nodded, and the two of them, the strongest of the three, broke down the door. Sweetie took another big breath. Scootaloo walked past the rows of counters, cabinets, drawers, and shelves all full of colorful liquids. There were containers of little white balls, with the letters CaCl on them. Other had snowy powders, marked "Sodium". In the middle of the room, the centerpiece, the hearth, was a mysterious, bubbling cauldron. Scootaloo was amazed, the cauldron was all sorts of colors, swirling around into a portal to the unknown. Sweetie Belle smacked her. "Scoots! We lost you for a second." Scootaloo laughed. "I'm sorry. This thing in the middle...What's it called?" Scootaloo asked. Applebloom walked over, racking her brain for the word. "I know the word, It's on the tip of my tongue." Apple Bloom complained. The blank flanks explored the room, finding what looked like pink lemonade. "Oh! Guys! Theres pink lemonade!!!" Sweetie yelled excitedly. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo ran over to the table wondering what had excited Sweetie. "Sweetie. We're in some sort of potions room with a cauldron-" Applebloom stopped. "That's the word! Cauldron! I knew it! I knew it I knew it I knew it!" Applebloom jumped excitedly. Scootaloo's eye widened. "That was the word. Okay, but back to the pink lemonade. Like 'bloom said, It...we could." She stopped. Sweetie Belle glared at her. "Don't talk unless you can form your sentence! I had an idea, and I lost it!" Scootaloo looked at her friend. "I'm sorry, I just-" Applebloom then screamed "ENOUGH! If ya'll don't get along, we're gon' die out in this 'tupid castle!" Apple Bloom heaved, her point was across. "Alright. We are the cutie mark crusaders. We are going to figure out this room, what all these things do, and find a way out." Scootaloo declared. Her friends agreed. "Yeah, i do want to know what Princess Twilight's doing with this room. If it' s a room for drinks, i doubt there would be a cauldron." Sweetie Belle explained, hoping her answer was sufficient. Scootaloo took a look at one of the bottles. It had a pinkie-pie pink, and it looked sweet. Scoots took a sniff, and found it smelled like...like those cookies she made with Rainbow Dash. How was that possible? Rainbow had put cloud in the cookies, along with Gryffonian chocolate chips. Scootaloo touched it, and it felt warm, like the cookies melting due to them being under cooked, in the air. Scootaloo found herself licking her lips. "Let me see it!" Sweetie pushed her out of the way, hooves everywhere. Sweetie got upright, and smelled it. "Pinkie-pie pink." They agreed. "Warm, like cookies." They agreed. Sweetie Belle took a sniff, and it smelled like the cake she made with Rarity after the Gala. Sweetie had helped clean up the boutique, knowing what had happened. Sweetie had the drink at her lips before Applebloom slapped her, and Sweetie came back to reality. "Whatever that is, I'm am going to try it. "A-greed." Scootaloo replied. Pinkie Pie pink. Perfect replica of her coat, the liquid was like if she had been crushed by a hydraulic press and put into the bottle. The container was warm, like melting cookies like Scootaloo had said. Apple Bloom sniffed, and found herself in the memory of her first successful applebuck. The tree shook, and apples fell into the baskets. The bottle smelled like zap-apple pie. Apple Bloom was mere millimeters away from drinking it before Sweetie Belle's magic took it. "Hey!" Applebloom yelled. "It smelled amazing." The crusaders agreed. "It smells like apples-" "Cookie-" "Cake!" They argued. "Wait!!!" Scootaloo yelled. "Maybe it smells different to all of us." That seemed reasonable. "That does make sense. There is some sciency thing called the pluh-cebo 'fect." Applebloom explained."That doesn't make sense!" Sweetie argued. "Shut up!" "Guys!" Scootaloo yelled. "Focus." Scootaloo started. "Okay. Those cookies were my favorite food memory. Were the things you smelled yours too?" Scootaloo asked. "Yeah." They agreed. "Alright, theres no poison label on it. And it looks like it tastes good." The blank flanks looked at each other. "Maybe ah can get my cutie mark in potions." Applebloom said. The CMC each took a bottle, there were plenty other bottles like it. "IF something bad happens, we should get to a big space. I don't want us to explode and splat on the wall." They laughed nervously, and Sweetie levitated the bottles up the stairs. They went though several different rooms, before finding a big pair of double doors. "The way out!" Apple Bloom cried. They left the doors, finding a big area outside. They were behind the castle, and if there were any explosions, Twilight could just mow the grass. "Crusaders! Potions cutie marks yaay!" they yelled. Sweetie held two bottles in front of them, both taking a different shaped container and downing it. //-------------------------------------------------------// Potion Experimentation //-------------------------------------------------------// Potion Experimentation Apple Bloom felt the single weirdest, strangest sensation of being warm. Not that being warm was strange, but she was just standing there. It was like a blanket, enveloping her and making her feel...better. It felt amazing, it was heaven in food. Then her stomach began to hurt. Badly. Apple Bloom screamed, before the pain subsided. She felt...full. Like she had just eaten. Eaten too much. She looked down, and she looked like she had eaten too much. Then, she felt pins and needles...farther than her hoof. Her legs were longer. She was standing, and suddenly shot upwards. Her hooves stretched, like years of growth all packed into seconds, as cells divided rapidly to accommodate to the pony they were supposed to be. Around half a foot, she was around a fourth of a foot taller. Her legs and stomach had become longer and bigger. She had aged, but without the education or the other things that came with it. Taller, bigger...stronger. She jumped, and found herself a foot higher than usual. She let go of the bottle, and hadn't had more than a mere. measly sip of it. She looked at her friends, pondering the possibilties of the entire bottle. Then, a small sound, like a powder keg about to explode sounded, ringing in the fillies ears, and Apple bloom felt the strangest sensation of being stretched. The Crusader shot up another whole foot, instantly feeling nauseous and dizzy, like she needed to throw up. Fortunately, she didn't. Scootaloo was the tallest. They were tall adults, compared to the usual height. and had barely had a sip. Scootaloo wandered around, finding she was faster, stronger...and her wings had grown in fully. She flapped them experimentally, the wings tingling, due to low use. Her wings were enormous, they were longer then her friends nose-to-tail. She flapped faster, no longer feeling the suppressing gravity. Her inner magic kicked in and allowed her to soar. She flapped, and went several feet up, before Sweetie Belle ran around, amazed at the fact her magic was functioning perfectly. The three looked at each other, finding a crest decorated their flank. An apple, lightning bolt and music note respectively inside the pink and purple crest. The crusaders had ended their search.  "Something about working together but having our own lives." Apple bloom concluded. The other crusaders agreed, because it had a portion of their own personality, but they had the same crest. Apple Bloom looked around, finding a tree by the side of the castle. She bucked it, and the thick trunk cracked, before falling over. Apple Bloom started screaming. The three ran back inside, all silently thankful the elements of Harmony had gone to Canterlot for two weeks. Most of the town was also in Canterlot, something about a ceremony, and changelings, and friends, or something. The crusaders had absolutely, positively no idea how those ideas were linked, but whatever. Rushing back to the potions room, Apple Bloom felt an actual sense of directionism. She had a compass in her apple loving farm brain. She jumped down a flight of stairs, little cracks in the crystalline floor growing, due to Spike, for various incidents which could merit an entire book on them alone. Scootaloo hadn't touched the ground since she realized her wings had grown, and ducked to not hit the ceiling. Sweetie lifted the door, because Apple Bloom and Scootaloo had kicked it down earlier. Sweetie fixed it the best she could, and Bloom just hit it until it worked. "Alright girls. Since the 'grow' potion was pinkie-pie pink, i think a dark green potion would put us back to normal." Scootaloo walked past a shelf, and found a bubbling blue container. "This one says 'normaility.' I think the dark green would make us even small then our normal height, remember the Poison Joke outbreak?" The other two nodded. Apple Bloom recalled her 'little' sister. Poison joke on Applejack was very funny, Apple Bloom recalled. "Alright. There are a lot of bottles of pinkie-pie pink, normality, and I found the dark green one. I'mma call it...we should name these, the colors will get confusing." Apple Bloom rambled on. Scootaloo looked at the dark green bottle. it was labeled "pacification", it had a murky green color, like a corrupted swamp.Sweetie Belle took an instant dislike to the rotten health food looking liquid chemical. There was a substantial amount of "pacification", along with the other bottles, named "normality", and Pinkie-pie pink. The girls tasted Normality, finding they felt cold and weak. It didn't taste good, but not necessarily bad. It was water, essentially. They felt cold, because being big was so warm. Sweetie Belle's magic was weak and sputtered a lot, dropping the bottle, before picking it up again. She took a sip of "pacification", and suddenly felt warm, and the same healthy as Pinkie Pie Pink. Something had happened, and it felt good. She took a deep breath, feeling as though she had the capacity to intake more air. Everything was big. The crusaders looked around, amazed by their small, unimportant sizes. "Yeah, that sucked." Scootaloo said. They had normality again, and were normal sized. "Ya'll, I'm a mighty hungry." The crusaders raided the kitchen, finding a cake in the fridge. Scootaloo shoved most of it in her mouth, before Applebloom stole the rest and ate it. Sweetie found a container of cookies and stuffed three into her mouth befire she strated choking. Apple bloom noticed, and slapped her back until the cookie came out. "Cookies?" She asked. The crusaders began fighting, before a bottle fell. Bloom caught it. Apple Bloom sniffed Pinkie Pie pink again, before finding the cork and holding the particularity large bottle in her mouth and running to the biggest room in the castle, which additionally was empty. Her friends followed her, until they entered the room. It was massive, around three hundred meters long and wide, and maybe two-thirds as tall. Apple Bloom put the bottle down, before clenching her teeth on the brown cork. She ripped out the cork, and spat it out. Sweetie popped open hers and Scootaloo's, before putting them down again. "I want to do more than a sip this time. We can do the whole bottle, there are countless bottles of this stuff in the Room." Scootaloo explained. The girls excitedly ran around, appreciating their small sizes. They walked back over to the bottles, and picked them up. "All." They agreed. The pink liquid cascaded down their throats, a tingly warm feeling pervading them. Incredible amounts of adrenaline passed through them, making the three absolutely giddy. Dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins flooded their systems, and they suddenly felt full. Sweetie Belle looked down to find her stomach if she ate like Twist, but without Twist's off-the-charts metabolism. Suddenly, even more happy chemicals and adrenaline passed through them, as the liquid slowly left the bottle. Sweetie started feeling hungry, and her stomach was much lighter. Her legs were were stretching, and their usual three foot heights were history. Three feet was approximately the size of her leg, the rest of her body widening and growing. Apple Bloom felt extremely full, then hungry. She was a bit shorter than the average filly, but that was behind her. She had downed the bottle quickly, and felt little explosions on her hooves. Her legs stretched, the mass of her stomach, the calories both the potion and the food the crusaders had, quickly depleting to satisfy the growth. Apple Bloom found herself taller then big Mac, and somewhere around six feet. The average mare was four foot, fillies three, and stallions 4'5. Big Mac was 4'11, at the tip of his ear. Apple Bloom walked around. "Sweet Apple Acres." she said. The three were starving. Sweetie had teleported them right in front of the castle, then in the middle of Ponyville in Town Hall, then to the outskirts of Sweet Apple Acres. They started to buck the trees, biting into the moist apples. As they took in more food, they started to "inch", and a tingly feeling surrounded them. The potion was activated by carbohydrates, when the food mixed with the extremely potent potion, it exploded, and was converted into energy. That was used to expand their bodies, and the more they ate, the more they were hungry. Sweetie Belle bit into the trunk of a tree, still hungry. Her teeth crunched through the thick trunk, and ate it. Her friends grew with her, their large stomachs growling their pleasure. They weren't starving, but wanted more. If they didn't have more soon, then the hungry would kick in. Abandoning their morals, their stomachs begged for more. Any second where they weren't swallowing or chewing or digesting, or searching for more food, they were hit with small waves of pain. If they did conform, their bodies rewarded them with doses of adrenaline and more growth. It was a vicious cycle. The crusaders were satisfied. They had eaten an average of thirteen thousand apples, two hundred forty trees, 19 bushes, and an insurmountable amount of grass blades. The crusaders were several inches above six feet, and their stomachs bulged and flopped out unflatteringly from under them. When they walked, their stomachs swerved and jiggled. When Scootaloo stepped hoof on the cement, it cracked under her. She flapped her enormous wings, her wingspan nearly as long as ten ponies! She took off, flying into the sky. She quietly thanked the Princess for making the sky so big. Ponies screamed and ran, although panicking was not an uncommon occurrence in town. The constant growth spurt had stopped, but when the girls breathed, their chest kept some of it's shape, becoming bigger and bigger. Scootaloo checked her stomach, finding it was shrinking. The warm, pleasant feeling raced through her, and found she was subtly growing. She put two and two together, and realized eating fueled the growth. Scootaloo dismissed this, as the growth felt so good. Sweetie Belle wandered into the relatively empty Ponyville market, with most vendors on break. Sweetie scoured the stand, gulping down any stray piece of food she could find. Her body rewarded he with another growth spurt, finally as tall as fifteen ponies, the height of Carousel Boutique! Sweetie experimentally used her horn. A powerful, light green aura surrounded it, and her eyes flashed their pale green. Her magic was so powerful, and another wave of adrenaline rushed through her, triggering her to shoot up two more feet. The sheer excitement of it kept her steadily inching upwards. Could she teleport? Only powerful unicorns could, but she couldn't forget she ripped eight trees out of the ground at once and ate them, without her magic wavering. Sweetie concentrated, and tentatively opened an eye. She and her friends were in a mythical plain. It was millions of miles of overgrown grass, a big forest to the sides, and rivers. "i thought this place was a myth!" Sweetie was now around ten foot, the teleportation had shot her up another foot and a half. Sweetie looked around, finding she had teleported her friends as well. The girls started shrieking, and finding a tall tree to measure themselves to. Sweetie felt hungry. The food she had stuffed into her mouth had done it's job, and six feet of it. She bent down, and took a sip from the wide river. The water cascaded down her throat, and her friends followed her example. They kept slowly stretching, little cracks as their joints grew and moved down. Their frame grew and the ground pushed in under their weight. The crusaders wandered around the landscape, amazed by both their size and their surroundings. //-------------------------------------------------------// Spike, Too //-------------------------------------------------------// Spike, Too Spike walked down the street, his scales glimmering. He had finally gotten them polished and sharpened. He had pleaded with Twilight for days until she gave him the bits to do so. The day had finally, finally come, and Spike rounded the corner. Sugar Cube Corner was not far. I've got a few bits left, I could get a cupcake. Spike reasoned. Twilight wants change back. The more logical side of him argued. Twilight doesn't know how much scale polishing or sharpening is. Spike settled on that, because he really wanted something sugary. he hopped up the small, tattered stairs and pushed the bottom half open. He walked in nonchalantly, and walked over to the glass case, displaying all the sweets the bakery had to offer. "Hey Pinks!" Spike yelled. The door to the employees room opened, and a pink mare hopped out. "Hiya Spike!" She said, a bit too enthusiastically. Spike smiled. He suddenly stopped. "Hey, wait a minute! Shouldn't you be preparing for the thing with the changelings in Canterlot?" Pinkie nodded, her head going down to he knees. She fell forwards, and tripped. "Okay, so, that got boring. And, neither Mrs or Mister cake were going to be here, and they need to keep the house!" Pinkie stood up, on two legs. "What can' I get ya?" She asked, like a New Horser. Spike laughed. "Have you had a New Horse City brownie?" Pinkie asked. "Everything about it is chocolate. The egg used are inserted with chocolate right as they leave the chicken! Hah! Then they refrigerate it, and-" Spike stopped her. "I want a cupcake." Pinkie stopped, and ran to the kitchen. She held a bottle, with a liquid that was exactly her coat color. Pinkie handed him a box of a baker's dozen cupcakes. She smiled. "On the house." Spike left happily. He paid for one cupcake, and got twelve free ones! And a complimentary drink! Today had been great! Spike kept walking. He reminded himself Twilight wasn't going to be home for at least five days. he kept walking, and approached the castle. A pile of about twelve comic books sat by the mailbox. His comics came in! Today had been amazing, and it wasn't even eleven o' clock yet. He knew the crusaders had also been to Sugar Cube Corner, and that's the reason there was icing on the wall. He also knew Twllight had allowed the crusaders to spend an hour or so at the castle, and he would likely have some cleaning up to do. But that wasn't so bad, compared to his morning. Spike searched the buildng, finding nothing was out of place, not a single dust bunny. Other than the fridge, it was empty. oh well. He'd send a letter to Twilight, she could bring home some food from Canterlot. For now, he could have the cupcakes, maybe later ask Big Mac for something to eat later on. The crusaders ran past Spike, he was completely oblivious to them. They had something in their mouths. Spike dismissed this, and sat down at a small table, carved from the tree. The cupcakes looked absolutely delicious. Pinkie had poured some of the pink liquid on it, and Spike didn't worry about it. She's a baker, she knows exactly what she's doing. Spike daintily bit into the first cupcake, and peeled off the wrapper delicately. The flavor hit his taste buds and he wolfed down the cupcake. It was absolutely delicious! It was like Pinkie had taken every sort of gem and strategically placed it, on the cupcake, with lots ,lots of icing, so the shards would hit the important taste buds. Spike temporarily reached enlightenment, until he swallowed it and the taste subsided. He ripped off the wrappers, and shoved another cupcake down his throat. He had eleven cupcakes left, why not have more? He reasoned. Desire held logic captive, and Spike succumbed to his hunger. The cupcakes were packed with sugar, and had an extremely unhealthy amount of calories each, he had eaten around a week's worth of fat, sugar, and carbs with five cupcakes. Without a second thought, he ate the rest, and burped after finishing the last one. He turned to the drink, and let it slide down his throat. The drink was so much better! It was like the cupcake, mixed with mountains of gems, and tubs of icing. Spike found himself salivating, so he licked his mouth and kept drinking. Spike daydreamed about digging into piles of gems, thousands of ponies high. He plucked clean every mountain, and no icing tub was dirty. And the bottle wasn't even half empty. Spike finished off the heavenly bottle, and started walking around. He was going to get more cupcakes, and especially more of that drink. In a bit of a trance, he tripped and fell into a room with an open door. He was eye level with bottles and bottles of the pinkie-pie pink liquid. He scooped them up, and started running up the stairs, feeling more powerful, oddly. Spike put the bottles in his room, and jumped down the stairs to get his comics. Spike was absolutely giddy, there was enough of the drink to give two bottles to everypony in Ponyville! And if in those boxes, had the same drink, everypony in Canterlot! Spike landed on his bed after a powerful jump, and the mattress creaked a lot more than usual. He gave that no attention, as he opened up his comic. Power Ponies #121 POWER PONIES IN: A GROWING PROBLEM! Spike excitedly began to read, taking the cork out of one of the bottles. He took a sip, and kept reading. The Masked Matter-Horn paced the room. Her team mates were in another room, likely arguing about the best slushee flavor, as that was what they were arguing about after they defeated Sizeous Slime. Sizeous could control how big they were, and were made of slime. Matter-horn had finally popped Sizeous, as the others were protected behind a wall. Masked had gotten covered in slime. Masked was pacing, because she was nervous. That was never a good thing. Masked had sat down on a chair earlier, and it collapsed. She was a foot taller then normal, and had a growth spurt, albeit a very unnatural one. Spike was oblivious to the foreshadowing. Masked thanked Celestia for the fact her friends were so distracted. Masked kept pacing, her horn beginning to use magic, then suddenly stopping. Masked was just so worried, she couldn't use magic straight. Think, Matter, think! Her brain screamed. Masked sat down, and surveyed her options. 1) Tell her friends. Get their help. 2) Go to Celestia. Masked laughed. Celestia wouldn't care about her problem! 3) Take a bath, and hope the slime and growth go away 4) Find a sciency spell to get rid of the growth Or... 5) Live with the growth. Maybe grow taller. Masked shuddered at the thought. Masked kept pacing, failing to notice the ground became farther and farther away. Spike paused from his comic book, to drink the rest of the first bottle. Both the chair Masked sat on and Spike's bed began to creak and grown under their growing weight, neither taking notice. Spike opened the next bottle, and continued reading. Masked got up, and looked at a mirror. Another foot! But the growth was warm and inviting, Masked's joints cracking and growing, as her body needed to adjust to the bigger pony. Spike's body did the same, the potion providing him extra calories, and enlarging his body. The bed groaned, shifting under his quickly-growing weight. Masked trotted from the side of the room back to the other, finding it took less and less time with each round. Finally, her horn hit the ceiling. Masked realized the growth, and gave in to it's tempting promises. It was bliss, and Masked shot up, destroying the ceiling. Lights fell and crashed, and the arguing in the other room stopped. The team ran into the room next to them, and found the leader, masked, was ten feet tall. Her frame kept widening, as her body pushed outward, destroying the room in several more seconds. Spike downed the second bottle and started the third. Pink liquid cascaded down his throat, making him absolutely giddy. He finished the bottle. Spike kept drinking, until there were six or seven empty bottles on the floor. Masked's horn flared to life, the adrenaline mixing with dopamine and she accepted the growth spurt. Her horn's aura grew stronger, and it stabilized. Suddenly, a ten foot tall purplish unicorn was gone. Masked teleported. Filli-second ran down 78 blocks, until she found Masked. "Matter-matter-matter hooooorn!" She yelled. Masked looked at her. Masked shut her eyes, and concentrated. Her body floated up, her magic holding her, allowing her to fly. She attempted to follow Filli-second back to the base. Her teammates had a variety of reactions, but all came to the conclusion they needed to help their leader. There were eleven bottles on the floor, Spike could have fed himself and maybe canterlot for the next two months with all the sugar and carbs packed into the bottles. The bed could take no more, and it collapsed. Spike jumped, and the comic fell to the floor. Spike tentatively got off the bed, and realized he was a lot bigger. Before hand, he was a few inches taller than the mattress in the box spring, but now, he was around four foot, the tip of the ear of the average mare. And that didn't count his shiny scales poking from his head. Spike kept growing, every moment was bliss. The potion went down to his stomach, where it combined with any calorie it could find. it made a chemical reaction, and released adrenaline and dopamine, encouraging his body to keep growing. And the growth was like a comforting tingling, it was warm, a pleasurable feeling. Spike's body grew forwards and up, layers of muscle growing, his bones becoming bigger to support a creature of his size. He was now standing up, and his joints cracked, and grew. Spike had been twisting around, trying to find some sort of mirror. Then, two spots on his back began to hurt. A foreign limb sprouted from the spots, and revealed themselves to be wings. Spike grunted, finding the growth feel amazing. Spike looked around, realizing he would destroy the room he was in if he stayed in the room and the growth spurt persisted. He experimentally flapped his wings, growing bigger and more powerful by the second. His instincts kicked in and he tried to fly out of the window, the chance of that happening lowering and lowering. He backed up, flapped his wings, and ran forward, jumping right before he reached the window. He glided out of the castle, and landed. Most ponies had gone to the Changeling Friendship Inaguration in Canterlot,so maybe Berry Punch saw him. He went to the Ponyville Market, usually with twelve to fifteen stands with twenty to forty ponies, had three stands and two ponies. Spike wandered around, and was silently glad he had lived in Ponyville for so long, that ponies gave him the benefit of the doubt,  assuming he wouldn't eat them. Spike leaned down, and his stomach grumbled it's approval of the pies the stand had to offer. The vendor, pushed a pie forward, and backed up slowly, before running off. He had left a big container of bits. Spike knew this vendor to cheat his customers and sell things for over four times the original price, so using those bits would be doing the economy a favor. Spike ate the pie, and the other three on display. Spike's stomach looked a bit rounder, but still demanded food. Spike scrounged the stand, finding lots of pies, cherries, and other foods. The dragon wandered to the other stands, and one of the ponies thanked him for scaring off the other vendor. Spike laughed, and bought all the food the pony's stand had. She thanked him, and he moved on to the next stand. Spike sold out the last stand, and gave half of the bits he had left to the two vendors, of whom were delighted. Spike could feel himself shooting up, and then slowly inching. Spike flew around, and then glanced at his stomach. The drink combined with carbs, and made him grow. The fatter he was, the more he could grow. And right now, his stomach was bulging out from his body. It flopped every time he walked, and was big enough that gravity had it hang by his knees. Spike had eaten four hundred pounds of food in that day, the cupcakes and the drink being twenty-five pounds, somewhere around there. He looked around, knowing more food would lead to the warm growth. The Burger place! He forgot the name, but there must have been food there. Spike flapped his wings. The burger place was a bit of a fly, but his wings should be able to take it. He backed up a bit, and flapped his wings, running, running, and flew. Spike laughed, as he suddenly went backwards. His legs had stretched, and he felt another spurt. He closed his eyes, as he shot forward, his head a third as big. Spike laughed, and shouted, as the potion kept mixing with carbs. The massive amount of bulk in his stomach slowly becoming him, but bigger. Spike landed, right outside the burger place. He held out a few bits to a worker who had walked outside. Spike found a bunch of hamburger buns, cooked and uncooked patties, and pretty much any other food the restaurant had to offer, all going inside his mouth. He savored every piece, feeling his stomach inflate as he ate. Spike laughed, his klutzy laugh, and kept eating. Spike felt as his stomach flopped around, quietly but steadily expanding and going downwards. Spike had another cooked patty, and ate the last of the food. It was all reject, or dropped on the ground, or burnt. Spike laughed, and then felt a tightness in his stomach. It traveled from his stomach to his mouth, when he burped. The worker held his head with his hoof and went inside. Spike felt so good. The growth was warm and inviting. Spike wondered for a few seconds where there would be more food. he wondered about any other foods he hadn't eaten yet... apples. Spike flapped his mighty wings again, displacing air and sending a small filly flying, until she landed in a tree. "I wanna do that again!" She yelled. Spike smiled, and took off. Spike kept flying, as he looked down at his stomach, flopping wildly the faster he went. It was so big. He realized. He was big. he was strong. He was powerful. Spike landed, and found there had been about two hundred trees ripped out of the ground. Spike frowned, knowing these tress were the main source of income for the apples. Two hundred trees! Spke looked around, finding apples with worms in them littered across the ground. Spike spent the next half hour attempting to plant any seeds he found. Big Mac eventually came along, and calmly planted seeds with him. "Hey Mac." He said eventually. "Are you not going to even question how tall I am?" He said, skeptically. He laughed. "You're a dragon. Dragons grow, right?" he said, nonchalantly. Spike shrugged, laughed, and kept planting. The seeds had been planted, and Spike waved to Big Mac. Spike flew around for a bit, before realizing he was hungry. He flew back to Sweet Apple Acres, Big Mac grinning as she held a wagon of apples. Silently, he pushed toward him, and it stopped a few feet from his feet. Mac headed back inside, as the pleasant feeling flooded his senses, and Spike's stomach quickly grew bigger. Spike ate some more apples. Spike ate. And ate, and ate, and ate. and ate more. Spike felt himself expanding, growing taller, as the carbs quickly became his body. Spike looked down, slowing his pace, as he slowly but steadily inched upward. but if he stuffed a bunch of bruised, old, and wormy apples into his mouth at once, he would shoot up, his joints cracking and the muscle growing outwards. It felt amazing! Spike laughed, as he was four feet taller than when he was planting. Big Mac would be shocked! Spike ate the last of the discarded apples, the warm feeling subtly subsiding, leaving Spike to feel cold. He kept flying, finding his wings would shoot out every so often, and his flapping would displace more air, once knocking a poor bird out of the air. Spike kept flying, kept flying, until there was a big area where nobody lived. He assumed nopony would be there, so he relaxed and ate the little fruits off trees, until there were none left. Now, he was probably as tall as town hall, after having one major growth spurt mid-air. His legs had shot out five feet, two feet of muscle quickly being added to his powerful limbs. He had screamed and cheered, before flapping his wings even more and doing a dive-bomb. He scared several griffons out of their minds. After they demanded he apologize, he took off again after eating more. It was the present, and getting darker outside. Spike gazed upon what he found. The Plains of Gobella. Gobella was an ancient Philliosopher, who theorized a whole bunch of stuff and set the foundation for modern pony science. She theorized friendship was key to growth and prosperity. Spike stood in the plains. The plains are so beautiful. //-------------------------------------------------------// Collision //-------------------------------------------------------// Collision Four massive beings paraded the fields, ripping trees from the ground and finding whatever was edible. Spike succumbed to the hunger, a ravenous cavern filling up by a fraction of an inch with every hundred pounds. He uprooted trees and ate them, his pinkie twice as thick as the average tree trunk. Trees were the equivalent of lollipops, flavorful but not filling. He sighed, flying across the endless expanse of the plains, to find three ponies roughly his size. Their legs were probably as tall as Town Hall, the tip of their ears another fifteen ponies high. Once the ponies realized some pony else was in the same boat, they rushed over to the other enlarged creature, which turned out to be spike. "Spahk!" Apple Bloom cried. "You got the drink too?" Sweetie Belle asked. Spike nodded. Spike looked around. "Wow. So... What do we do next?" He asked. Sweetie Belle spoke up. "I really like this newfound size." The others agreed. "Yeah. Sweetie teleported us here, because we'd be too big for anypony in Ponyville." Apple Bloom explained. Spike examined the girls. About forty feet high, twice the height of Town Hall, the size of Spike's wingspan. What were they going to do next? "What comes next..." Sweetie hummed. The four enlarged creatures thought for a few moments. "Ah don't want to cause no trouble t' nopony." Apple Bloom confessed. The others agreed. "Next." Spike said, frowning. "Guys, what should we do next?" "We can't go back tah Ponyville, we're  too big. I wanna stay big too. We could write a letter to Princess Twi- no, she's shrink us. Hm." Scootaloo pondered her options for a moment. "I'm kinda hungry. We'd think better on a full stomach. That way has a big forest." Scootaloo pointed the direction spike was flying to. "That way." Scootaloo looked at her fellow crusaders. The crests adorned on their flanks had stretched, it looked bad, but it would heal. The group headed toward the forest, densely stuffed with trees. Spike ripped one out of the ground, a lollipop, not worth the effort it took to force it from the earth. Spike felt as the food fell down his esophagus, pushing his stomach out, as he hadn't had enough food recently to activate another growth spurt. Spike savor end every piece, then let it go down his throat. He watched as his stomach expanded, flopping over down to his legs, and felt skin growing, by his chin, arms and legs. Spike laughed greedily, as tree after tree found its way into his stomach. Finally, Spike felt full. The growth began. It was subtle at first. Spike and the crusaders just ate. It was something everybody needed to do. Their body took pleasure in the fact they were being good to themselves. A warm feeling jolted through them, a tingling sensation at the ends of his skin, as his joints cracked and his frame widened. Spike felt as cells quickly divided and added on to the mass that were his bones, widening and growing as it supported a creature of his size. It wasn't that different with the crusaders, as they reveled in the warm feeling. Celestia's sun was shining down on them, making them feel warm. Spike exhaled, allowing his draconic body to soak up the heat, as his body expanded and take up more sunlight. Spike exhaled then blinked. Twilight was going to be home in two weeks from that thing in Canterlot. Canterlot. How close was canterlot. "Hey guys!" Spike hyelled, rocks falling out of his mouth. "How close is Canterlot?" Spike asked. This prompted Sweetie Belle to pipe up. "Oh, not too far. I saw a zeppelijn travel not too far from here. Granted, I'm forty ponies high, so that could be quite a distance." Sweetie admitted. Spike exhaled again. "i wanna go to Canterlot." Apple Bloom looked up. "We could fand us sah' more fillin food, so we can think t' sort out our problem." Apple Bloom said. The four set off, eating stray trees along the way, adding another ten feet. They approached the city built into the mountain, and were very surprised by the fact that the walk was so very short. Ponies screamed as the mountain shook, and three mares and a dragon, who seemed taller now then before, stomped toward the city. Many ponies dismissed it. it could be a minor earthquake, and the princesses wouldn't allow harm to come to Canterlot. And under their hooves was miles of rock. They would be safe. The four walked to a small bakery around the edge, behind the castle and a mile or so from where Cloudsdale started. Spike could tell when he could finally think what to do next, his head would quite literally be in the clouds. He was hit with a wave of pain. he wanted food. he looked down at his stomach. What was a fat, flopping purple organ was a piece of skin stretched on his body. He had gone at least another twenty feet. And ponies could tell, many more were screaming and running. But a good percent stayed where they were, minding their own business. They saw this kind of nonsense not too far, in Ponyville, so they had had their fair share of monsters. Sweetie Belle was, surprisingly, the tallest of all. sweetie knew to head to the back of Canterlot, where the best restaurants where. She silently thanked Rarity. Well, not her stomach, anyway. The growth spurt had used most of the food she had eaten, and her stomach made no simple job of letting her know. She was not as tall as she thought, how ever, and climbed up the surprisingly tall mountain. Spike flew up, along with Scootaloo. Sweetie belle watched as Apple Bloom climbed up without breaking a sweat. She wiped some of her sweat off, feeling her horn. Of course! She felt warm, and adrenaline passed through her. Sweetie Belle found herself in Canterlot. She had teleported, and rather easily. She had trouble holding keys before, now she teleported hundreds of feet, two times in a day. She confidently walked to a place who knew the Belle family well. It was a more fancy place, but had a kids place for the fillies and colts. They didn't want the kids cutting themselves on Real Crystal Empire Glass TM. Sweetie Belle asked the terrified business owner for all the discarded food they had. Burnt, dropped on the floor, old, made the wrong way, whatever food they wouldn't be using. Minutes later, a wagon gingerly stepped out, as the owner watched pounds of food fall into the endless abyss of four stomachs. The group became the garbage disposal for the restaurants all around Canterlot. They ate quick enough so their hormones wouldn't begin a growth spurt, and their stomachs could become gigantic flabs of skin, demanding for more food to be stuffed into the minuscule space left. Somehow, there was always room for one more blackened roll or one more piece of cheese or one more table of cakes. If trees were lollipops before, these foods were crumbs, somehow attempting to fill the ravenous beings. But the city of Canterlot mixed up orders often, and had more food for the four than they thought. Sweetie sat on her but like a biped, her friends doing the same. They eagerly anticipated the moment when their stomachs would deflate and find themselves taller. Spike rubbed his stomach, fatter than any other time. He was oddly proud. Then, he felt his digestive systems working to make him grow what he had eaten. The four felt a familiar, pleasurable tingling, and watched as their stomachs shrank back into their bodies, fat becoming them, and reveling in the pleasurable warmth. Spike shot up, and ponies began panicking and yelling, if they hadn't before. Sweetie Belle waited, until her stomach practically ran into her body. Her hooves doubled in size, and Sweetie found herself as tall as Canterlot! Welp. More time passed, and the four were taller than anything. Taller then any hill, tree, or any mountain. The elements had been called to handle the big situation, but the four escaped. Legends say these four live in the badlands of Equestria, planting trees and attempting to fill themselves. But the more they eat, the taller and bigger they get, and the hungrier they become.
