It was night time in Avalon, Canterlot. All was quiet, too quiet. A dark blue pegasus with a comet cutie mark was sneaking his way through the streets. Guards were roaming, and the pegasus knew these guards belonged to his tyrannical brother, Galaxy. Galaxy had succeeded in taking over Canterlot a few years back, and now he was making his way to Ponyville. Comet wasn't about to let that happen. His radio went off and he heard a mare's voice. "Comet! You've been quiet for almost two hours now. I need a status update!" The voice belonged to Vanilla Mocha,, a member of Comet's small band of rebels. Comet was planning to break somepony out of Galaxy's dungeons.
"Mocha, I need to keep radio silence. I'm nearly to the rendezvous point." He hissed into the radio. Mocha's voice was stern, but understanding.
"OK, just make sure you radio base when you've got the target. Over." She replied. Comet rolled his eyes and shut off his radio.
"OK Comet." Comet said to himself. "Time to use that charm mom gave you." He said to himself as he strolled up to the doors where a mare guard was standing. The mare lowered her spear and growled.
"Halt!" She ordered. Her voice was gruff. Underneath her helmet were magenta eyes along with a rainbow mane and tail. "No one allowed in the streets without King Galaxy's approval!" The rainbow maned mare ordered. Comet chuckled.
"I'm the king's brother, dearie. I happen to have power to overrule his approval." He smirked. The mare raised her spear.
"My...my apologies. I had no idea." She blushed nervously. "You know, you're....pretty good looking for the king's brother." She stammered nervously. "I'm Rainbow Dash." She smiled. Comet shook her hoof.
"Comet. Say, Dashie, may I call you Dashie? You don't happen to know where Cell 575 is, do you?" Comet asked in a seducing way. Rainbow blushed and threw him the keys, whispering in his ear.
"Down the hall, first door on the left. Make sure you aren't seen." She whispered. Comet nodded and walked down the hallway, looking for cell 575. Soon, he found it. He unlocked the gate and was greeted with a sight.
"Ah, there you are, Quillton." Comet smiled. Quillton turned around, his coat bruised and dusty, along with a black eyepatch over his eye. "Let's get you out of here." Comet said as the two fled without being seen by any of the guards. Meanwhile, in his palace, Galaxy was furious.
"No. No, no no no no no!!" Galaxy yelled as he threw a table, scaring some guards. "My brother got away with Quillton!! With him, he'll have a tactical advantage!" His red eyes glowed. "Find him, now!!" He ordered. The guards nodded and scattered out to find Comet.

Chapter 1: Meeting my brother?!!
Comet's brother was not happy at all when he found out that Quillton was broken out of prison. King Galaxy was pacing, his red eyes glowing with anger and hatred. He was a dark, discorded blue after years of being exiled, his eyes had gone from brown to a crimson red, he had eyeliner on as well, to show his more dark side. Not only that, but his galaxy cutie mark was somewhat faded after a skirmish with his brother, Comet. His black mane fell just above his eyes, like he hadn't cut it in years. Then, a few years back, he had succeeded in taking Avalon and destroying the princesses, all of them, save for Luna.
Meanwhile, in our universe, I was happily making a run to Icy Mocha. I'm Galaxy Nebula, and I'm the hero of my universe. Now I know what you're thinking. "Hey, aren't you the pegasus that is ruling that other world?" Well, no, no I'm not. Well OK, yes, I am, but not in my universe. It's hard to explain.
You see, me and Quillton had this theory that more than one universe existed. We might be the heroes of our universe, but for all we know, one of us could be the major baddie in another. That never could be more true in King Galaxy's universe. You see, my brother Comet is the hero of that universe. I won't say anything else, otherwise I'll spoil the good parts. Anyways, as I was walking to Icy Mocha, I noticed Quillton in his lab tinkering with a machine. I stopped to look. "Hey Quill!" I called. Quill shot up.
"Huh? D'oh!" He exclaimed as his head bumped into the door. I cringed as my best friend hit himself. "Oh, hey Galaxy." He said, walking up.
"How's that thingy going?" I asked. Quillton rubbed his neck.
"Well, until I unveil it, I need all six of us to be there. You, me, Crystal, Red, Mocha, and Scythea." He told me. I nodded.
"OK, I'll go round up the others, you finish up here." I told him. He nodded and continued to tinker with the machine. Meanwhile, back in King Galaxy's universe, my other dimensional self was furious now. He even scared his first lieutenant, Rainbow Dash.
"Um, your majesty, why don't you calm down?" She suggested. The king turned on her. Big mistake, Dashie. She thought.
"Calm down? Calm down?! Lieutenant Dash, have you lost for forever-loving mind?!!!" He shouted, his red eyes glowing. "My brother has just freed one of my prisoners and Luna is still out there, possibly trying to find a way to retaliate the town against me!" He exclaimed. "I did not take over Avalon just to let some sissy pony princess take it all away!" He added. Dash gulped.
"Yes, your highness." She nodded, exiting his presence. As the door thudded behind her, she removed her helmet and threw in in her locker. "King wants to treat me like shit, fine. I hear that Comet Nebula is recruiting. Maybe I can get back at the king for murdering my friends." Dash said to herself as she removed her armor, letting her wings stretch and mane flow down to her shoulders. It had gotten long after a while, and she preferred it this way now. She slipped on a brown jacket with white fur on the inside, taking flight. Later in our world, Quillton was just about finished with his experiment.
"Um, Quill?" Scythea asked. "What is this, exactly?" He wondered. The ginger-maned earth pony smirked and pulled off the sheet, revealing a huge machine shaped like a blue box. "A.....Police Public Call Box?" Scy raised an eyebrow. I face-hoofed.
"This is a project me and Quill was working on. It can basically go anywhere and any time or place." I explained. The console inside sparked, causing me to gasp and smile nervously. "Still working out the bugs." I added. Crystal giggled.
"Silly Galaxy." She kissed my cheek gently. Suddenly, the machine sparked, the doors flying wide open. I grabbed my hat to keep it on my head as a bright purple portal opened up inside mine and Quill's machine.
"Quill! Shut it off!" I shouted. My best friend was clueless.
"It's not me!" He shouted back. Suddenly, the six of us, me, Crystal, Red, Mocha, Scythea, and Quill, were sucked through the portal and belched out at the other end in a world that looked like ours, but darker and more grim. I found my hat a few inches away and fixed it on my head. Mocha stood up and shook her head.
"Where the hell are we?" She asked. I shrugged. Then, about 7 or 8 ponies surrounded us, all dressed in outfits that looked like they were rebels to some cause. My jaw dropped as I saw my brother approaching, except something was off. He didn't have red eyes like he normally did, he looked more calm and serious with brown eyes like mine.
"Comet?!" I exclaimed, rubbing my eyes. Comet eyed me suspiciously.
"Do I know you?" He asked me. His voice sounded more serious and more sane. I rubbed the back of my neck nervously. He eyed me closely. "Brown eyes. OK, guys, weapons away. It's not the king." He said. Comet's friends put away their weapons and stood facing us. "Funny, you look exactly like my brother, Galaxy." He told me.
"Wait, what do you mean? I am Galaxy." I told him. He pointed to a sign behind me and I almost died inside. On the sign was a picture of me, but with red eyes and a smirk on my face. "Quillton. I think we're in another universe." I explained. My best friend gasped.
"Whoa whoa, wait. You're from another universe?" Comet asked me. Crystal nodded. "Follow me. It appears we have a lot to discuss." He said, leading us to his camp. We followed, not knowing what to expect. In the palace, my other self was busy planning an attack when a guard came rushing in.
"What is it, Commander Shining Armor?" He asked. The white unicorn removed his helmet with a grim expression.
"Your majesty, Lieutenant Dash has gone missing. She left the palace and apparently has gone AWOL." He explained. The king's face twitched. He turned, trying to hold down his anger.
"Commander, listen to me. OK?" He said. "I've got 48 hours to get rid of my bozo of a brother, or the entire scheme I've been setting up for 15 years goes up in smoke, and you....are telling me.....Lieutenant Dash........abandoned her post!!!!!" He screamed, his mane turning to fire. Shining Armor gulped as his king calmed down. "I'm fine. I'm cool, I'm fine." He told himself. "Just go find her and bring her back here!" He ordered. The white unicorn nodded, taking a squadron of guards with him.
