Chapters Prologue: The angel appears
The sky was clear in Canterlot. As people went about their business. It was even more busy in Canterlot High, as students were enjoying the lunch period. A time were they could relax, take a break, and most importantly talk to their friends.
Thunderstorm however preferred doing something else. The boy sat on the roof of the school. He was the typical high school student, he was 17 enjoying his senior year, he had orange skin, silver colored eyes, and long black hair with a gray streak running down the middle that stopped on his shoulders, which he kept in a ponytail style. He was wearing the new Canterlot High uniform, which for some reason they decided to get.
He heard it was because of a complain from some parents. But he really didn't care. The uniform was obviously designed after the Crystal Prep uniform, the colors were just changed. Instead of purple it was all white. Except for a black tie and black shoes, it made Thunderstorm feel like he was part of some sort of army.
He let out a sigh, a sign of how bored he was. Many students passed the lunch time with their friends he didn't. Not because he couldn't, but because he didn't want to. He already had friends in the past, and as time went on they started drifting apart. Until eventually they stopped talking.
Thunderstorm walked to the ledge of the roof admiring the view. "It sure looks nice" he thought to himself. However things didn't remain quite.
"Hello there." Came a voice from behind him.
Thunderstorm turned to see no one. He started searching however since he was sure he heard something. He looked for a bit, but he didn't find anything. He decided to stop searching and just sit back down. Although he was sure he heard something.
"Hi."
Again he heard something, looking around to again find nothing. Which left Thunderstorm to believe someone was messing with him. He looked around on all directions, but he didn't see anyone. He started thinking who could it be, until his mind settled on two candidates, Rainbow Dash or Pinkie Pie. Two students that while being nice, still enjoyed a few pranks here and there. However Thunderstorm wasn't in the mood to play games.
In a angry voice he shouted "whoever it is you better come out now." Thunderstorm finished looking around, waiting for the person to step out and revealed themselves.
"I am out silly." The voice again spoke. Thunderstorm again looked around but he found nothing. He heard a laugh and some words "look up Thunderstorm." Thunderstorm did what he was told and he immediately gasped. Floating above him was a person, a person that he had seen before.
Cadance floated in the air above Thunderstorm. Who at the time just stared at her. She laughed a little bit, thinking that Thunderstorm would be used to this by now, he did attend Canterlot High after all. After a while she decided to speak "hi Thunderstorm."
Thunderstorm just stared at her. He thought only Twilight and her friends had magic, but here he was looking up at Cadance. Who just now decided to land in front of him. She smiled lovingly at Thunderstorm, who could only say one word to her.
"How?"
"It's a long story."
"I have some time." Thunderstorm responded. At this point his curiosity taking a hold of him. Cadance sighed and went through everything.
After the story was done Thunderstorm had so many questions going through his mind. Cadance had magic, not only that but it was love magic. She practically had it her entire life which didn't make sense, since it didn't explain were it came from. More importantly why her and why love out of all things. Whit this Thunderstorm had to ask the only logical question he could think of.
"Does this make you Cupid."
Cadance laughed at this thinking it was a joke, but she decided to answer it anyway. "You could say that, I'm definitely an angel of love." She finished that sentence with a wink. Which made Thunderstorm feel uncomfortable.
"Okay why are you here then."
Cadance stood up and walked towards Thunderstorm. Until they were face to face. "Because silly it's your time."
"What?" Was all Thunderstorm could say. After that Cadance booped him.
"Thunderstorm come on, you are a smart guy you can figure it out." Thunderstorm just looked at her whit a face that told Cadance that it was better if she just got to the point. Cadance sighed, "Thunderstorm I'm here to help you find your love, you know the love of your life, the girl you will spend your entire life with yeah I'm here to do that."
"So you're here to hook me up."
Cadance rolled her eyes. Clearly liking her choice of words better. She nodded all the same however. Thunderstorm looked at his watch.
"Thanks but no thanks, I'm not interested in romance." Thunderstorm said in a calm voice, as he walked to the door to get off the roof, and opened it. However it immediately closed as Thunderstorm noticed a magical aura surrounding the door. "Hey what...." Thunderstorm didn't finished as he looked back at Cadance and saw fury in her eyes.
"Do you have any idea how many times I have heard that line!" Thunderstorm shook in fear. Her happy demeanor was replaced by an angry one. She walked towards Thunderstorm, who didn't dare to move a muscle, afraid of what would happen. She now stood in front of him and whispered something in his ear "gotcha." After that she started laughing.
"It's not funny." Thunderstorm replied, anger filling his voice.
"Maybe not to you, you should have seen the look on your face.." Cadance said while laughing.
Thunderstorm looked at his watch again, and realized the bell was going to ring soon. He also knew that Cadance wasn't going to let him leave, so he just decided to go along. "So you are here to help me find a girlfriend."
"Exactly." Cadance stopped laughing and went back to being herself.
Thunderstorm sighed, "okay fine so how do I know who it is."
"Easy with this." Cadance said while holding something in her hand. Thunderstorm looked at it he saw that it was a silver necklace, with a pink gem in the form of a heart in the middle. Cadance flew and landed in front of Thunderstorm, putting the necklace in his hand. "Just ask it to show you the one, after that it's all up to you to get the girl."
Thunderstorm did what he was told and asked the necklace to show him the one. He was surprised that the necklace actually showed him something. Thunderstorm let out a gasp when he realized who it was.
"Who is it?" Cadance said clearly curious.
"It's Marble Pie." Thunderstorm replied.
Cadance raised an eyebrow, and decided to look at the necklace. In the necklace was a picture of a girl. She had turquoise gray skin, violet color eyes, and long dark cyan gray hair with spring green streaks. She was wearing the female uniform, which like the males uniform was basically the female Crystal Prep uniform just white.
Thunderstorm just stood there, whit a terrified look on his face. "It's something wrong Thunderstorm." Thunderstorm quickly shook his head, he didn't want to talk about his past. Especially since Marble was a big part of it. "Why her out of all the girls in the school why her." Thunderstorm though to himself.
Cadance knew he was hiding something, but she didn't want to push it. Especially since she needed to get back to Crystal Prep. She didn't want to blow her cover. But before she left she needed to tell Thunderstorm something.
"So Thunderstorm I need to tell you something." Thunderstorm broke out of his thoughts, to hear what Cadance had to say. "Well the necklace comes with a price."
"What?"
"Well you see." Cadance said really nervous about finishing the sentence. She always hated using the necklace, but it was the fastest way to get things started. "Thunderstorm if you don't get Marble to say yes to being your girlfriend by the end of the school year, well you will never be able to find love ever." Cadance finished as she started floating away. She stopped for a second "keep the necklace that way we can talk bye." With that Cadance was gone.
Thunderstorm stood there letting it all sink in. Not only did he needed to make Marble fall in love with him, but he needed to do it before the end of the school year. He didn't even know what to do, or where to start. He had known Marble for so long and they were friends before, but could he really get her to like him romantically.
Well he didn't have much of a choice. Thunderstorm started thinking about a plan. Marble was a very shy girl, they were friends before so he had that going for him, but they drifted apart. Okay first he needed to rekindle his friendship with Marble and then he would worry about the whole love thing. Thunderstorm was actually excited for once, he really did like Marble.
Thunderstorm sighed and started making his way to the door. He was feeling mix of excitement and anger. But he knew one thing, this year was going to be an exciting year. He also knew never to trust Cadance again. He put the necklace in his pocket and started making his way downstairs, as the bell started ringing.
Thunderstorm sat in his chair in the classroom. He wasn't really paying attention to the class, since his mind was wandering elsewhere at the moment. He had the necklace in his hand, he was staring at it and thinking about what had happened. He couldn't get it out of his mind "Marble", Thunderstorm thought to himself. He wasn't sure what to do or how was he supposed to do this.
Thunderstorm looked out the window of the classroom. He remembered the time him and Marble spent together before. He was kinda happy, he was going to talk to her again, maybe they could be friends again. Maybe if Cadance was right, they could become more than just friends. Thunderstorm's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the bell.As the students started leaving to join their friends, Thunderstorm got up and got his bag. He had to stop by his locker, but after that he will try to speak to Marble. As he left the classroom he started thinking on how Marble was going to react, and what was she going to think. It has been a long time since he talked to Marble. Four years to be exact and even then before he moved they barely talked, or even spent time together. Thunderstorm looked at the necklace in his hand again, "maybe this can fix that" he thought to himself.Thunderstorm put the necklace in his pocket, and he kept walking. He reached his locker and opened it. He grabbed the books he needed for homework and left the ones he didn't need. He was about to close his locker, when something caught his eye. A picture frame lying in the corner of the locker upside down. He grabbed it and looked at it, the picture showed him when he was twelve, but he wasn't the only one in the picture. There were four girls and they all smiled as the picture was taken. Thunderstorm recognized the girls in the picture, they were the Pie sisters as he started calling them when they were friends.Thunderstorm took the picture not even looking at it again. He closed his locker and started walking, curiosity eventually setting in he started looking at the picture again. He looked at it, and not paying attention where he was going he bumped into someone. He got up grabbing the picture and putting it on his bag, he then looked at the person he bumped into, as he wanted to help him or her get back up.He looked at the person and said a name "Marble." Thunderstorm was surprised, he wondered if Cadance had anything to do with it.Marble looked up, to look at the person she bumped into. She wanted to apologize for not paying attention at where she was going. "Thunderstorm," She quietly whispered. Thunderstorm looked back at her and decided to speak."Hi Marble," He said to her, however he was surprised at what happened next. Marble got up and started running. Thunderstorm surprised by this and not knowing if he did something wrong decided to go after her.Thunderstorm ran after Marble, shouting her name as he was running. They ran through the cafeteria and through some hallways, until they reached the outside. Were Thunderstorm lost her when she went through the crowd that was formed outside."What was that all about?" Was all he could say. Why the crowd was there he didn't know. He looked and saw that they were talking about something but he didn't pay attention to what it was. He looked around for Marble but he didn't see her.He decided to sit down on the steps of the entrance of the school. Thinking about what just happened."Hey Thunderstorm."Thunderstorm turned around to see Spike. The closest person he had to a friend. He didn't refer to him as a friend, but it was still great to have someone to talk to."Hi Spike."Spike noticed his attitude and decided to ask him what was wrong. Before he did however, he decided to get somewhere more quiet. After some walking Spike and Thunderstorm found themselves sitting on the bleachers in the back of the school."So what's up?" Spike asked him. Thunderstorm sighed and he went through the entire story. He told him about Cadence and the necklace, but he decided not to tell him about Marble.Spike just stared at him. "So that's it?" Thunderstorm was surprised by his answer."Well you're taking this very well." Thunderstorm responded while looking at the necklace."Thunderstorm you'll get this done, after all I did."Thunderstorm was surprised. Spike went through this.Spike seeing his face decided to clear it up. "Cadence came to me too, how do you think I finally asked out Rarity?"It actually made sense. Spike liked Rarity, but he never said anything. Until last year where he finally asked her out. Or so he heard that's what happened. He thought about what he said, but he still knew he had a lot of work to do. He hoped that he could talk to Marble without her running away. He then remembered Spike was there."So who's the girl the necklace showed you?"Thunderstorm thought about it. Should he tell Spike about it, he could end up telling Pinkie Pie or one of her sisters. Thunderstorm eventually decided to answer his question. "It's Marble Pie.""Wow you have a lot of work ahead of you." Spike didn't like Thunderstorm's chances here, but hey he could figure it out hopefully."You can say that again," Thunderstorm answered still looking at the necklace. He needed to know what to do.Spike wanted to help Thunderstorm out. But he remembered he had a date with Rarity. So sadly he had to go."Thunderstorm I have to go I'll see you later," Spike looked at Thunderstorm and with the sad look he had on his face he decided to give him some words of encouragement, "hey I know you can do this, you have a lot of time so take it easy okay.""Okay.""Bye Thunderstorm." And with that Spike left.Thunderstorm sat there still thinking. Did he do something wrong, or does Marble just doesn't want to be friends anymore. He sighed still wishing he knew how to do this. "Hi Thunderstorm."A cheery voice said. You didn't need to be a genius to know who that voice belonged to. "Hi Pinkie," He said, he looked at her and she looked as happy as ever."Thunderstorm I just came to ask you a question." Pinkie greeted him."Go ahead.""Do you know why Marble is acting really nervous."Thunderstorm immediately was interested. "So, I made her nervous" Thunderstorm thought to himself. He sighed and he just decided to tell her the truth. "Well I tried talking to her, maybe that's it.""Oh okay." Pinkie said and after skipped away. Thunderstorm sighed and decided to just go home. Before he left, he looked at the recently fixed horse statue. He knew what it was, he was beyond surprised to find out that it was a portal to another world. He looked at it a thought coming to his mind, "I wonder if there is a me in the other world and if there was was he dating the Marble from his world." A question for another day Thunderstorm though as he started walking home.
Thunderstorm was in the middle of his shower. After he got home he sat in his room and just watched some YouTube videos, and when the sun went down he decided to take his shower. Thunderstorm loved showering, especially since it gave him time to think. After some thinking he decided that the best way to handle his situation was to just try and talk to Marble. While showering the necklace that Cadence gave Thunderstorm started to glow. Thunderstorm didn't notice it, and after a while he felt arms wrapping around him, and something on his back. Immediately startled he turned around to see Cadance, in all her naked glory. Thunderstorm's eyes went up and down her entire body as a scream escaped his mouth."Hi Thunderstorm see anything you like." Cadance said in a very seductive tone. Thunderstorm however didn't like what was happening and he heard a knock from the door."Thunderstorm is everything alright." Thunderstorm realized that was his mother and immediately panicked. He jumped on Cadance, not caring that their naked bodies were touching and he put his hand on her mouth to keep her quiet."Yeah mom, I just almost slipped." Thunderstorm hoped she would buy it. Now more than ever he wanted to get out of the shower. It didn't help that Cadance wouldn't stop moving."Oh okay, be careful.""Okay thanks mom." Thunderstorm was relieved that she actually bought his excused. After getting Cadance out of the shower, finishing, drying himself with a towel and getting dressed and leaving the bathroom. Thunderstorm went to his room. There he saw Cadance lying seductively on his bed. "Be gentle." Thunderstorm threw the towel at her face and stared at her with an annoyed look. "You're no fun" was Cadance's response."What are you doing here?" Thunderstorm asked while putting on a shirt."I'm here to check up on you, you know see how you're doing."Thunderstorm sat on a chair next to his bed. "This is just great, she is going to come see me from time to time." Thunderstorm let out another annoyed sigh. "Look just don't get in the shower with me again.""Fine." Cadance said while getting up and walking towards him. When she was right in front of him she decided to ask the question that was plaguing her mind. "So how did it go?"Thunderstorm knew what she wanted to know. "Well, I bumped into Marble today.""Yeah." Cadence said excitement filling her voice."I said, hi, to her.""Keep going." Cadence was expecting something good."And she ran away." Thunderstorm finished looking at Cadence. Working really hard on trying not to laugh at her reaction."What?""Just what I said, I bumped into her and I said hello and she ran away."Cadence couldn't believe it. While she wasn't expecting Thunderstorm to be done already. She expected at least something. She loved seeing the progression in a couple's relationship. From the beginning to end, it was her favorite part from the job. She saw that Thunderstorm wasn't worried meaning that he had something planned, "Judging by the look on your face I would say you have something planned.""I do, don't worry I got this," Thunderstorm replied to her while jumping on his bed and getting ready to go to sleep."Well okay good luck, I'm expecting some other results okay," Thunderstorm nodded. Cadence turned the lights off and left.
Marble brushed her long hair, as she was getting ready to sleep. "Hi Marble, can I talk to you." Her sister's voice came through the door."Hi Pinkie." Marble responded, in her usual shy voice."Marble I heard you ran away from Thunderstorm today." Marble immediately sunk down, trying her best to disappear. Marble didn't answer so Pinkie decided to keep going. "Marble I think you and Thunderstorm should be friends again." Marble looked at Pinkie and Pinkie just kept talking. "I think it'll be good for you, I mean you were friends before, I think you can be friends now."Pinkie looked at her sister. She knew Marble was very shy, but she also knew that it was Marble who started the friendship between her and Thunderstorm. "Look Marble I'm not telling you what to do, and I'm not going to force you okay, but I really think that rekindling your friendship with Thunderstorm is a good thing, so all I'm going to say is that you should at least try okay."Pinkie made her way to the door, ready to leave when a voice stopped her. "Okay, Pinkie I'll try.""What." Pinkie said hoping that she heard Marble right."I'll try to be friends with Thunderstorm again," Marble was immediately wrapped in a big hug."Oh my gosh Marble I'm so proud of you, you'll see you won't regret it," Pinkie let go of her sister and immediately left.Marble sighed and smiled. "I know I won't regret it Pinkie," Marble thought to herself. She laid on her bed, though about the possibility of having a friend again. Which brought a smile to her face, as she drifted off to sleep.
Pinkie made it to her room. She looked around and saw Cadance sitting on her bed."So did you get her to try and talk to Thunderstorm.""Yes." Pinkie cheerfully responded."Great Thunderstorm is going to try and talk to her again, I think." Cadance said while looking at Pinkie.Pinkie gained a worried look for a second, "Do you really think this is going to work." Pinkie asked, she was worried, not only about her friend, but her sister as well.Cadence walked towards Pinkie and put her hands on the pink girl's shoulders. "Pinkie I know this is going to work," Cadence disappeared after saying that.Pinkie climbed into her bed and laid down and whispered one last thing before she went to be. "I hope it does."
Canterlot was usually a bright, sunny and peaceful place and today was no exception. The sun was shining bright the birds were singing and people were going about their business. Whether it was actually going to work or just hanging out with some friends.
Thunderstorm was standing in front of the entrance of the Canterlot park. A lot of people came here, mostly to relax. The air here always felt fresh, and just sitting in a bench and thinking was great here. There were also playgrounds for the kids to play, which made it a great place for kids and parents. Also there was a pond where you could watch ducks and on rare occasions swans. But Thunderstorm wasn't here to do any of those things. Although sitting on a bench sounded really nice. To be honest Thunderstorm didn't even know why he was there. He got a call from Pinkie Pie telling him to get over here and that was that. He groaned thinking about this morning.
Thunderstorm turned in his bed. He was sleeping peacefully and he was enjoying every second of it. His room was somewhat dark, since the curtains were close, meaning that the sunlight could barely get in. A closer look at his room, could tell anyone that Thunderstorm really liked videogames and anime. His room had posters of different anime series and video game characters. Mostly Pokemon as it was Thunderstorm's favorite games. He had a bookshelf in a corner of his room. However it didn't have any actual books. It was filled with video games from different consoles. Next to it was another bookshelf, this one was filled with different anime manga along with some collectibles like figurines and other stuff like that. Next to his bed was a desk and on that desk there was a computer. Which he mostly use to watch YouTube videos.Thunderstorm was interrupted from his peaceful sleep when his phone started ringing. He tried to ignore it and keep on sleeping, but it just wouldn't stop. Thunderstorm gave up and let out an annoyed groan, he picked his cell phone up and answered it. It was Pinkie Pie, she wanted him to meet her at the park, she didn't say why, but she sounded very excited. Which for Pinkie Pie it's always. Thunderstorm tried to argue, but he knew he wasn't going to win.He eventually gave up and agreed to go. He put his phone on the night stand next to his bed and sighed. He then felt an arm wrapped around him. He looked next to him just to see Cadance sleeping peacefully."Who called?" Cadance sounded very tired. Something normal for people who had just woken up after a long sleep.Thunderstorm immediately got up from his bed and stared at her. "What did I tell you about this?""You said not in the shower, were not in the shower." Cadance said smiling at him."It was Pinkie Pie," He said answering her previous question."What does she want?" Cadance said while stretching."She wants me to meet her at the park, I don't know why, but it's Pinkie Pie I learned not to question her.""Don't go I really enjoyed spooning you last night," Cadance let out a soft muffled scream, as Thunderstorm threw a pillow at her face."There something wrong with you," Thunderstorm just stared at her. Cadance was about to say something but Thunderstorm interrupted her. "Look, I got to get dressed so if you can take a hike, that will be mostly appreciated."Cadance looked at him, a little anger present on her face. "You're no fun." Cadance said leaving afterwards.Thunderstorm sighed and started getting dressed. He was wearing his casual clothing which consisted of, a white t-shirt, blue jeans, blue sneakers to match, and a Wonderbolt jacket, a gift from his dad. He walked over to his dresser which had a mirror and looked into it. Despite everything Thunderstorm didn't really care about the way he looked, or what others thought of him.He looked down on his dresser, which was filled with Pokemon merchandise. From games, to plush pokemon. His favorite being a Pikachu, which he didn't have anymore. His little sister Lily loved it so much, Thunderstorm decided to give it to her as a present.Thunderstorm wasn't interested on his Pokemon stuff however. He looked at a black box and opened it. Inside of it there was another necklace. It was a silver necklace and the pendant was a crystal red sun. Thunderstorm carefully put the necklace around his neck, and looked at it. It was a gift from a very special friend he had before. He sighed and walked towards his door. There was a key holder attached to it. He grabbed his keys and another important thing. The necklace Cadence gave him, after he left ready to see what Pinkie wanted.
Thunderstorm walked through the park. There were a few people here, but not that many. He looked towards the pond, seeing some ducks swimming around. There were even a few geese, Thunderstorm smiled. He had a lot of memories in this park, mostly with Pinkie pie and her sisters.Probably his favorite was when Pinkie started chasing the ducks. More memorable yet, is when she actually caught one. To this day he couldn't believe she actually caught a duck. Well Pinkie regretted her decision, since the duck started biting her. Either way it was probably one of the funniest days of his life.Thunderstorm kept walking. Pinkie told him to meet her in the picnic area. Thunderstorm got there looking around there were a lot of Picnic tables, and an ice cream truck."Well, I guess it's best for business," He thought to himself. He looked around for Pinkie Pie until he finally spot her. What surprised him is that she wasn't alone.Pinkie sat there waiting, she was wearing her usual clothes, that she wore when she wasn't at school. She looked behind her, sitting there looking nervous as always was her twin sister Marble Pie. She was wearing a white shirt, over that she was wearing a purple sweater jacket, going down she was wearing a gray skirt that went just above her knees, and purple boots that went halfway to her knees. She sat there nervously waiting. Pinkie said she had a friend that she wanted her to meet. Marble didn't know who it was, but she was very nervous."Here he comes." The happy voice of her sister filled Marble's ears. She looked up to see who it was, only to her more nervous.Thunderstorm stood in front of them, not really paying attention to Pinkie. He just stared at Marble Pie. Pinkie looked at them and she immediately was filled with joy. Only for it to be dashed away as soon as Marble got up and started running away. As soon as Pinkie noticed what her sister had done she immediately tried running after her. Only to be stopped when Thunderstorm grabbed her arm.Pinkie looked back at him. Ready to scream at him to let her go but she stopped when she saw his face. Thunderstorm's face was a mix of sadness and disappointment. He didn't say anything at first. Eventually he did say something."Let it go Pinkie.""What?" Was all that Pinkie could say. She thought he wanted to be friends with Marble again."Just drop it Pinkie, it's over," Thunderstorm turned around and started walking away. Only to have Pinkie step in front of him."What are you doing?" Thunderstorm however didn't answer. "I thought you wanted to be friends with my sister."Thunderstorm didn't immediately answered. Instead thinking of what he should say next. "Pinkie I just don't think it's possible.""Thunderstorm anything is possible if you put your mind to it," Pinkie said a smile present on her face. "You wait here, I'll go get Marble and....""Pinkie, I've been doing this for three weeks now!" Thunderstorm yelled, exhaustion and sadness filling his voice."Three weeks?""It's all been the same I try talking to her and she runs away, every time," Thunderstorm finished that sentence and he immediately remembered every single time he tried. At this point he didn't care about the necklace, he just wanted to be friends with Marble again. But it didn't seem possible."How many times did you try?"Thunderstorm took in a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. "I don't know ten maybe twelve times." Thunderstorm didn't have the exact number. He tried so many times, just so it could all end the same way. Marble running away.Pinkie didn't say anything. Her hair deflated, not going straight like it usually did but it was her usual style. "Marble said she was going to try, she lied to me." Marble had never lied to her."Pinkie don't be mad at her," Thunderstorm voice snapped Pinkie from her thoughts. Thunderstorm gave Pinkie a hug, one which she returned. "Marble she's a very shy girl, she's probably afraid, don't blame her for this, it's not her fault." Thunderstorm said letting go of Pinkie."But I really thought things could go back to the way they were," Sadness filled Pinkie's voice."Pinkie thanks for trying," Thunderstorm smiled again memories of the past coming to him. "Pinkie we can be friends, but maybe it's better if we wait for Marble to feel comfortable before we try and bring her into this." Thunderstorm knew that was the best solution and Pinkie knew two."Okay," Was Pinkie's response."Hey come on smile, things will turn out okay."Pinkie looked at him. There was no sadness or anger in his face. Pinkie felt happy, she smiled her hair going back to normal. She wrapped Thunderstorm in a bone crunching hug. Thunderstorm immediately started choking, "Pinkie need air.""Oops, sorry," Pinkie let go, and Thunderstorm started gasping for air."It's okay just don't do that anymore okay.""Okay I'll try.""Thanks anyway I have to go Pinkie, see you some other time."Pinkie smiled and nodded. She then extended her arm "friends."Thunderstorm looked at it, but he knew exactly what to do. He took her hand and shook it "friends." Whit that the two went their separate ways. Thunderstorm was heading to a bench he saw earlier. While Pinkie Pie was going to look for Marble.
Thunderstorm sat on the bench finally having a chance to relax. He thought about what happened earlier with Pinkie and Marble. On one hand he managed to make a friend, despite not caring about making friends, he was happy that Pinkie was his friend. But on the other hand he was still in the same position with Marble."Well that went bad." Thunderstorm looked next to him and saw Cadance."It's been pretty much the same." Thunderstorm said while staring at the sky."Thunderstorm there's no time to sit around, you have something...""I give up," Thunderstorm interrupted Cadance."What?" Cadance making sure she heard that right."I give up," Thunderstorm said, still staring at the sky."Thunderstorm you can't give up, if you don't do this you'll never be able to find love." Cadance was worried. Was he really giving up."I just don't care anymore Cadance, it's been three weeks." Thunderstorm finally stopped looking at the sky and stared at her. He had a face that showed no emotion. "I can't get Marble to talk to me, or be my friend, how am I going to get her to be my girlfriend?"Cadance immediately started thinking. Thinking that if she found and answer, Thunderstorm would reconsider. But she didn't find anything. She had no answer. Thunderstorm voice filled her ears once again."Cadance I appreciate that you care about me, but there really isn't anything I can do, I have no plan or any ideas, so I just give up," Cadance noticed that hint of sadness at the end of his sentence. He didn't want to give up, she knew that but he felt like there was nothing he could do.Cadance sighed, she already knew he didn't want to give up. So she needed to find a way of getting him and Marble together. Eventually she came up with something, but she would need to talk to Pinkie Pie first.Cadence got up and turned to look at Thunderstorm, "Thunderstorm it's your decision, I can't force you to try, but I need to hear it from you." Thunderstorm was surprised to see Cadance acting so serious. Up to now she hadn't shown any signs of seriousness."I give up." Thunderstorm said again not showing any emotions.Cadance turned around getting ready to leave. "The Thunderstorm I know wouldn't give up." She said loud en for Thunderstorm to hear."Cadence here take it." Thunderstorm threw something at her which she caught. She opened her hand to look at it, it was the necklace. He was serious about giving up, despite not wanting to. She looked at him, "I won't need it anymore."Cadance took the necklace. "You can keep up the facade all you want Thunderstorm, I know the truth." Cadance thought to herself, while staring at Thunderstorm. "Well I guess this is goodbye.""I guess so, goodbye Cadance.""Goodbye Thunderstorm." Cadance disappeared leaving Thunderstorm alone with his thoughts. Before Thunderstorm knew it a single tear ran down his face.
Marble ran and ran. Not knowing where she was going, by now it felt normal to her. She stopped trying to catch her breath, she looked around to try and figure out where she was. She noticed she was out of the park and she was standing in front of Canterlot High. More specifically the horse statue.Marble immediately started yelling at herself. She really wanted to try, she wanted to be friends with Thunderstorm, but every time she saw him, she just panicked. She didn't know why. "Thunderstorm I'm sorry." She said to no-one.Marble sat on the ground and leaned on the statue. She brought her knees to her face and started crying. "I'm so pathetic, why would anyone want to be friends with a loser like me," She said to herself."Don't beat yourself up Marble." Marble looked up, she saw a woman she didn't know. She wiped away the tears that were falling from her face and looked at her."How do you know my name?" Marble said sniffing at the end."Oh right, my name is Candace and I know your sister, she said you've been having trouble with making a friend lately." Marble didn't answer her, preferring to nod. "Marble I can help you, if you want.""You can?" Marble asked, looking at her."Yes I can," Cadance said, extending her arm for Marble. Marble took it and Cadance pulled her up.When she was up, she looked at Cadance and asked the important question, "How can you help me?"Cadance smiled and gave her a comforting hug. "Don't worry I have a plan you just have to trust me, okay?"Marble didn't immediately answered. She didn't know Cadance and she didn't really think she could help. But Marble told her sister that she was going to try, and Marble never went back on her word."So Marble do you trust me?" Cadance said, while offering her hand to Marble.Marble took it and answered her question, "Mm-hmm".
