//-------------------------------------------------------// Cutie Mark Crusaders Superheroes Yay! -by Imperfect Perfectionist- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue This was not how Scootaloo was planning her day to go down , although nopony really would if they weren't Pinkie Pie, and or psychic. All she wanted to do was scooter on home after a long, and tiring day of bungee jumping. It was a warm day, and a slight breeze rustled her bright orange coat slightly, she shook her wings and speeded on, buzzing her wings like a hummingbirds, ignoring the other ponies walking by, deep in thought about what new activity she was going to try next. Just as she was nearing the bend to her house, she saw a small carriage go at top speed down a very steep hill.Idiots, they should really slow down. Her annoyance shifted to alarm, however, when she noticed one of the wheels had been snapped off, and that it wasn't slowing down. In fact, it looked to be speeding up. Her alarm grew when she noticed Pound Cake sitting down right in front of it. "Yikes!" She yelped, careening down the hill with blazing speed, buzzing her tiny wings as fast as they could go. She was gaining on the carriage, there were only a few meters between them as Scootaloo strained with all her might, beads of sweat starting to form, only to be whipped off by the speed she was going at. Flattening her ears, she pushed herself harder than she ever had, and she closed the distance quicker. But even as this happened, Scootaloo knew that she would never reach there in time, the carriage was going to fast, and the hill was too steep. So she did the only thing she could think of; she leaped from her scooter and into the air. Because of the almost vertical drop, she soared past the carriage. Keeping her wings tucked against her back, she used her momentum to slam in Pound Cake, and only a millisecond later the carriage passed by. It finally managed to pull to a stop, thanks to a group of earth pony stallions. The carriage driver galloped over to where Scootaloo crouched, with one wings spread around Pound Cake, trying to calm her breathing "Are you alright?" He asked anxiously, looking them up and down. "Uh, yeah, thank you" Scootaloo said awkardly, shuffling slightly. The stallion looked between her and the carriage and back again with wide eyes. "Your a really fast flyer, kid, you should try joining the Wonderbolts" he said as he strolled away. That carriage could of have hit her harder. He think's I flew, why wouldn't he? Scootaloo thought dismayed at the notion. She had accepted that she may never fly, but comments like that, especially when Pound could fly so well . . . She wasn't sure what hurted more, mean spirited, purposeful comments, like the ones she used to be given by Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon or innocent, harmless ones, by unknowing ponies, like that nice stallion. She was roused out of her self depreciation by Mrs. Cake, who had seen what had happened. After assuring her that, no, it really was nothing, and yes, she would bring her and her 'Crusader friends' in later to get a free sundae, she was on her way. Had anypony looked closely, they would of have seen  Scootaloo's cutie mark light up slightly. Apple Bloom sighed as she surveyed the tree's she still had to buck. Her area was much smaller than Applejack's and Big Mac's but there where still quite a few tree's left. She was near the edge of Sweet Apple Acres, near to the mountain that her sister once climbed to fight a dragon. The tree's on the borders never had that much apples, but Applejack could sniff out a lie within seconds, and she would know whether Apple Bloom checked them or not. As she predicted, there was only one tree there with apples on it, then she would have to work in, and that was a lot more work. Sighing, she bucked the apple tree. The tree, already malnourished and weak, split in half and slammed into the rocky ground with a loud THUD! There was silence for a moment, before a gigantic boulder came barreling down the hill at astonishing speeds. It was only inches from her face, when Apple Bloom , panicking, brought her hoof straight out in front of her, as if to try and stop the giant rock in it's tracks. The effect was immediate; the giant boulder cracked and turned to dust. Shocked, Apple Bloom took one, then two steps back, before turning around and galloping back to Sweet Apple Acres. "Apple Bloom! What are you doing back so early?" Granny Smith wheezed as she rocked in her chair, surprised at seeing her grandfilly burst into the house. After explaining what happened, Granny frowned at Apple Bloom. "You destroyed a rock . . . with a single punch?" She asked, her eyes, so like Apple Blooms, so sharp. Frantically, Apple Bloom nodded, grateful that she understood. A few seconds later she was being thrown out of the house. "Telling lies won't get you out of work there, whippersnapper! Now get!"  The old mare shouted, and her gandfoal trudged away. Muttering under her breath, Apple Bloom set off to continue apple bucking on her slice of work land. She was so busy making up for lost time, she didn't notice her cutie mark glowing softly. Sweetie Belle looked around her sisters Creation Room. It was a mess, as usual, but Sweetie had learned her lesson on messing with Rarities things, don't. She was, however, bored out of her mind, and she was certain she left her singing baton in here somewhere. After digging around, she found it under a pile of fabrics. Looking around the room, Sweetie shrugged. What harm could singing do? She sucked in a deep breath, and decided to just do a simple song, one Rarity sang to her when she was a filly on stormy nights. "Hush now, quiet It's time to lay your sleepy head Saying hush now quiet now, Time to go to BED!" The effect was instantaneous, her voice caused massive shock waves to ripple around the room, sending everything flying away from her. Instantly, she stopped. She looked down at her hooves. Under them, the floor was cracked and buckled beyond compare. Her light green eyes widened.Rarities going to send me to the moon! She spent the next hour and a half meticulously putting the fabrics back exactly as she remembered them, and the ones she didn't know, throwing them around, as if Rarity did it. Then she turned her attention to the cracked floor. She stared at it blankly, before her light green eyes lit up, and she dragged the ug over it . "There! Perfect!" Sweetie sat back on her haunches and admired her handiwork, then went into her room, before turning her attention to her singing. Was I always like this? She wondered, staring blankly at her white hooves. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo told me I have a very powerful singing voice, have I just never noticed it, or something?  She also never noticed her glowing cutie mark. Yeah that was probably it, after all the alternative was- "Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeetie Beeeeeeeeeeeeeelleeeeeeeeee!" Scootaloo woke up with her head against wood.Did I fall off the bed, or something? She opened her eyes, and started, heart leaping wildly in her chest. She was pressed up against the roof of her room. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaah!" She screamed, before dropping to the floor, hitting herself on the chin on the way down. Shakily, she stood up. Then it set in.She could fly. She could fly. "I can fly!I can fly!I can fly!I can fly!I can fly!" She screamed, bouncing around the room like Pinkie Pie. She took a huge leap into the air and buzzed her wings, only to fall on her stomach. "No,no,no no" she chanted, trying again, and failing. "But, I just did it" she thought desperately, trying over and over, to no avail. "Scooter! Time for school!" Her mom's voice yelled, and she dejectedly trotted downstairs. It was only once she was outside the schoolhouse, that she realized; she never flapped her wings. Am I losing it? She wondered, shaking her head as she sat down at her desk, and staring down at it, disconsolate. Apple Bloom woke up later than usual, though it was probably due to the huge telling off she received by Applejack and Granny Smith. Bolting out of bed, she ran through the kitchen, grabbing a nearby apple for breakfast. "Can't talk, gotta go, Ah'm late- bye!" She yelled, ignoring the confused looks she was being sent by her family members. Apple Bloom slammed the door behind her, not noticing how it shattered on impact as she ran. She did notice, however that her body felt very light, and she bounced up to the schoolhouse to take a seat beside Scootaloo in record breaking time. Gingerly, she attempted to pick up a pencil, only for it to shatter between her teeth. Scootaloo stared down at the two halves in confusion. "What did you do that for Bloom?" She asked, shifting around to look at her friend. "I didn't- I mean- I" Apple Bloom said looking down at the crushed pencil forlornly. I must not know my own strength. Could this day get any more weird? She wondered. Sweetie tumbled down her stairs, tearing off her quilt as she ran. Grabbing her new green satchel, with her cutie mark on it,  she tied it on as best she could. But Sweetie wasn't graceful on the best of days, and she bonked her head off of the door frame, rubbing her head, she used her magic, to open the door, shutting it quietly behind her, knowing her sister liked to have luxurious lie in. Finally able to right herself, Sweetie started bucking it towards the schoolhouse. She reached it in seconds, or she would of have, had she not tripped over a rock that was in her way. "Dumb rock" she spat, before continuing. She only just managed to make it into her seat, just as the bell rang. She breathed a sigh of relief, she was right on time. Though they weren't aware of it themselves, Cherilee noticed that The Cutie Mark Crusaders were acting . . . weird. Sweetie kept clearing her throat, like she was going to sing softly, a thing she did when she thought nopony was listening, then glanced nervously around, and looked down again. Apple Bloom, on the other hoof, was picking everything up really slowly, and carefully, like it was made of glass and it would shatter. She had griped the edge of the chair, the metal part, but at some point she jerked her hoof away like it was on fire. She didn't touch the chair after that, instead completely engrossing herself in what Cherilee was saying. Scootaloo kept folding and unfolding her orange wings, before glancing around really quickly, like she'd been caught doing something she shouldn't. Cherilee noticed that she asked a lot of questions about flight and wings in the class, more so than usual, but Diamond and Spoon had stopped bullying them, so why was she so nervous? Was there a new bully? She glanced around, but most ponies liked The Cutie Mark Crusaders, so what was bothering them? It was a knock at the door that brought the teacher back to her senses. "Oh, oh yes. . Since Tirek destroyed a few schools on his rampage, many schools were destroyed, which meant that colts and fillies had to find new ones. Everypony I would like you to meet our newest classmates, Crowned Jewel and Razell Da-" "Please, call me Razer" a smooth, Baltimare voice spoke up. Razer was a light grey, with a short mane of four different shades of blue. His feathers twitched as he walked past to the back of the class, inspecting the posters. Jewel meanwhile, seemed determined to flaunt, she stuck her muzzle up in the air, and shook her ringlets. "Why don't you tell us something about yourself then Jewel" Cherilee suggested, and the unicorn gladly took center stage. "My father, Polished Jewel is the treasurer for the Celestial Jewels" she said in her high voice, looking down smugly at them. "Wow, really!?" Twist burst out. "That's amazing!" Everypony gathered themselves around her at once, and began chattering excitedly, asking questions. "Can we see them?" "Is it true that there's a ruby as big as the sun itself?" "Do you think you could bring them in next time for show and tell?" Jewel, held up a hoof for silence. "I'm sorry, but my father can't possibly do that" she glanced at the downcast faces. "I can however, bring one of you with me." And that's how Jewel became the most popular filly in school. "Isn't Jewel great?" Sweetie burbled, hopping from hoof to hoof excitedly as they trotted to the clubhouse. Apple Bloom frowned. "Ah don't see what's so special about some sparkly rocks." Scootaloo chimed in. "Yeah, I don't know why everyponies freaking out about them, it's not like they're super awesome or anything." Sweetie turned to Apple Bloom. "You do know that they have a golden apple there right? And they inlay all their swords with those jewels?" Apple Blooms reddish yellow eyes widened, as she imagine a golden apple. She imagine biting into it, and she smiled dreamily, while Scootaloo started fanfillying over the swords. "How cool is that?!" She shouted, stopping her scooter briefly. "How do you know all this, Sweetie?" Apple Bloom asked. "Rarity loves them! She tells me about them all the time!" Sweetie replied, and the other two exchanged a look. Sometimes Sweetie's blind adoration of her sister could be worrying. They entered the clubhouse, still chattering on about the new filly. It was then that Apple Bloom remembered the colt. "Hey what do you think of Razor?" Sweetie shivered. "Scary," she answered, Scootaloo puffed out her chest. "He's just a Pegasus, Sweetie, nothing we can't handle." She grinned, and the earth and unicorn fillies smiled back. Scootaloo, who was standing on the podium, jumped down to let Apple Bloom up. Except she just hung there, in the air. "Wah-" Apple Bloom asked. "Your flying, your flying, your flying!" Sweetie said jumping up and down. Scootaloo shot up, and banged her head on the roof. "Your flying, she's flying, your flying, she's flying, your flying, she's flying!" Sweetie sucked in a breath. "She's Flyiiiiiiiiing!" The shock wave of her voice sent Apple Bloom flying through the door of the clubhouse. Sweetie clamped a hoof over her mouth in shock, before Scootaloo led them both to where Apple Bloom was. The Earth Filly was stuck under a tree. But, without showing the slightest bit of effort, she stood up and threw the tree off her. Literally. It shrunk into a tiny dot in the sky, then vanished from sight. She sighed, and sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck. "Ah think we all have some catching up to do." After explaining their own story, the three sat back in silence for a moment. "So . .  we all somehow gained super awesome mega powers?" Scootaloo said, smiling. Sweetie looked anxious, but Apple Bloom grinned as well. "Yep! But where did we get them?" "Oh, I think I can answer that" a voice said from seemingly nowhere, startling them. A tiny firefly, which had been sitting on the lamp for quite some time, grew and grew, until a certain Draquinous formed. "Discord!" Apple Bloom said, jumping to her hooves. "Did you do this to us?" She asked, nervous. She heard stories about him, and knew he was reformed, but at the end of the day, he was still the spirit of Chaos. "Me?" Discord placed a lion's paw against his chest in mock hurt. "Why no, you did this yourselves." The three fillies exchanged a glance. "Us? But how could of we have done it?" Scootaloo asked, confused. "You three got your cutie marks in helping other ponies- bleh!  But it was so general, the magic that controls your cutie marks thought of you as hero helping, so it gave you a few powers." "Wait? A few? There's more?" Sweetie squeaked, seeming both elated and scared. "Oh yes, from what I can gather, all of you will get a travel power, like Scootapoo's flight without wings, and will also get a power used for fights, like Apple Doom's strength, or Sweetie Beth's songs." He laughed lightly. "Now if this isn't going to be chaos, I don't know what will!" With a snap of a talon, he vanished. "Super . . powers?" Sweetie asked, turning to look at her two bestest friends. "Super . . . heroes?" Scootaloo sounded a bit lost herself, coming down from the adrenaline wave she had been riding. Apple Bloom thought for a moment, before standing up, straight and tall. "Our cutie marks were always meant to symbolize danger girls. We chased down a criminal, then helped him." She declared, trying to sound brave, but really just sounding like she was trying to imiatate Big Mac. "Yeah, we stood up for Diamond Tiara" Scootaloo said, joining her, puffing out her chest. "And we survived Discord, Tirek and Queen Chrysalis" Sweetie Belle chimed in, getting into it. "And wort of all . . . ." Scootaloo and Sweetie leaned in as Apple Bloom lowered her voice. "We survived Sweetie's cooking!" Scootaloo and Apple Bloom burst out laughing, but stopped when they saw Sweetie's eyes waer. "Just kidding" Scootaloo said quickly, but the look didn't go away. "Ah was just making it up Sweets, ah love your cooking!" Apple Bloom said, a lie worthy of Discord himself. Sweetie smiled malevountly. "Oh, so you don't mind sampling some of my best works?" The other two's eyes widened in horror, until Sweetie herself burst out laughing. "Okay, I think we're getting off track, but the point is-" "Cutie Mark Superheroes Yay!" And somewhere in Canterlot, Celestia got a feeling that things were about to go horribly, horribly wrong. //-------------------------------------------------------// Costumes Maketh The Fillies //-------------------------------------------------------// Costumes Maketh The Fillies "Superhero training Commence!" Apple Bloom declared, before dropping a huge box of comics on the tale in front of her two friends. "Where did you even get these?" Scootaloo asked, while Sweetie levitated two comics, reading the titles. "Spike and Big Mac" Apple Bloom shrugged, then handed Scootaloo one, taking one herself. "Now read!" The two did what their leader said. About five minutes in, Apple Bloom noticed something. "All these superheroes wear costumes," she realized, flicking gingerly through a few of them. "Oh yeah" Sweetie realized. "But why?" Scootaloo, who was in the middle of reading Mare Of Steel." Apple Bloom scanned the pages. "Apparently because it's dangerous for your enemy to know who you are, because they could hurt you and your family" Apple Bloom said, flipping a page. "I guess we're going to need to find some costumes then." Sweetie stood up. "Come on!" She cried, racing from the house, the other two on her tail. They stopped just outside Carousel Boutique. "Won't your sister notice if we take something?" Apple Bloom asked, frowning. She had been brought up being told that stealing was wrong. "Do you guys remember The Nightmare Night incident?" Sweetie asked, lowering her voice. "How could ah forget? Scootaloo bringing those fireworks" the two shuddered. "I thought we agreed never to speak of that again!" Scootaloo exclaimed, annoyed. The two others snickered. "Right, well, afterwards, Rarity bought these costume bases, for when our costumes inenivtab- inev- catch fire." They quietly opened the door, and crawled on their stomachs, before Apple Bloom realized. "Why are we doing this?" She asked, standing up, the other two looked offended, before realizing. "Oh yeah" Sweetie said, blushing slightly, while Scootaloo scratched the back of her head sheepishly. Apple Bloom nosed the door open. Sweetie strode past the mannequins, which actually looked quite creepy in the setting sun to Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, who weren't using to see headless pony busts with pins in them. The tiny unicorn opened a small door. and the two others followed. "Oh yeah" Scootaloo grinned, looking around. The room was full of filly sized outfits and costumes. Some were from years earlier(1) while others were for next years. But the one's Sweetie was next to were three, costumes that were more like ninja outfits, they covered everything except for the muzzle and eyes. "Uh . . aren't they a little. . . plain for a superhero costume?" Scootaloo said, noting that they were all white. "Yeah, I thought maybe we could all decorate the-" "Or. . . Apple Bloom could do it?" Scootaloo interrupted. The earth pony shot her a look, and Scootaloo did a thing with her eyes, which meant SHOW STOPPERS. "Oh, Oh" Apple Bloom smiled. "Ah'll do it, no promblemo!" The three of them were giggling, when they heard a door shut. (2) "Oh buck" Apple Bloom swore, leaping up and grabbing the costumes, almost tearing them in two with her uncontrollable strength. "I'll distract her, you to go" Sweetie tried to sound like that mare in Mission; Neighpossible, and the other two nodded. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo climbed out of the nearest window, which was harder than it sounded, as Apple Bloom's strength nearly cracked the wall, and they had to force out all the costumes. "So,dearest sister, what is your plans for today?" Apple Bloom and Scootaloo winced. "Sweetie is a really bad actor" Apple Bloom noticed. A few seconds later, Sweetie appeared, calling out behind her. "No, me and the crusaders didn't try to renovate your creation room again. (3). Yes,okay, okay Byeeeeee!" She trotted over to them. "I thought she would never stop" she sighed, and fell into step beside them. "So, Apple Bloom" Scootaloo said, turning her attention to the filly between the two of them. "How long do you think it'll take to make these costumes cool?" The earth filly tapped a hoof to her mouth, thoughtful. "Probably a day, or two" when the others cheered, she frowned at them. "Don't get too excited" she warned. "It may take a while." It took three days for Apple Bloom to finish making the costumes.Three days! Do you know how long that is in Crusader time? A lot. A lot, a lot. For three days (4), Apple Bloom excused herself from meetings, and other general Crusaders business that took place. But, on that third day (5) , she led her two bestest friends in the world into their shed, and blushed with pride at the impressed noises they made. Sweetie's costume (http://img02.deviantart.net/42e3/i/2016/318/c/e/sweetie_belle_s_outfit_by_reading4halfmylife-daof2m6.png) was all shades of grey and white. Her hind legs and rump were a dark grey, with a lighter grey patch running up her back. The rest of the outfit was a much lighter grey, almost around the same as her coat. Unlike the others, this had the middle shade of grey going over the horn on the unicorns head. (6) It was simple, but it was very pretty, especially with the dark grey scarf twirled around it's neck, which could be used to cover her muzzle. Apple Blooms (http://reading4halfmylife.deviantart.com/art/Apple-Bloom-s-Superhero-Outfit-645666739?ga_submit_new=10%253A1479068112) outfit was mostly black; black legs, hind, head, shoulders, but her chest and bottom hooves were a deep, rich red. Around her waist was a yellow belt, and a yellow bracelet was on each of her front hooves. It was simple, yet practical, fitting the filly to a tee. Scootaloo's costume (http://img07.deviantart.net/b954/i/2016/318/9/1/scootaloo_s_outift_by_reading4halfmylife-daoeypw.png), on the other hoof, was a whole new level of awesome. It was dark purple, with darker purple boots tipped with silver and grey. The very top of her rump was grey outlined in silver, as was her chest. Her ears were dark grey, and a pair of shining silver goggles hung underneath. "Gift from Twilight" Apple Bloom said, shrugging. "Ah thought it might help with high speeds and all that." Sweetie looked at Scootaloo's costume and noticed. "Hey, why doesn't Scootaloo's costume have wings?" She asked, and Scootaloo spun around to stare at Apple Bloom. "Yeah, why doesn't mine have wings?" She narrowed her eyes, the universal sign for watch your step. Apple Bloom raised an eyebrow. "Seriously? Let me think?" She sat back, pondering it for a second. "Three tiny mares, possibly fillies. One a Unicorn, one a Pegasus and the other an Earth Pony . . .  . let me thiiiiiiink . . ." "Okay, but why didn't you do something to Sweetie Belle?" Scootaloo accused. "Because, she has a horn that sticks out of her forehead. How would ya miss that?" Scootaloo conceded the point. "What are you going to do about your accent?" Sweetie asked. Apple Bloom rose to her full height, which wasn't much. "I 'borrowed' a book from Twilight's Castle" she said, ignoring Sweetie's muttered "and we're supposed to be the good guys,?" and turning it over, letting them see the bold, no nonsense cover. "Rules of a superhero" Scootaloo read. Apple Bloom shrugged. "Must of have been the rulebook for Mysterious Mare Do Well, because it says right here, rule number one, If anypony know's your voice, don't talk." She looked up, and pointed at the outfits. "Let's suit up!" (7) After pulling on their new outfits, which hid their mane and tails underneath, Apple Bloom turned to her fellow superheroes. "Ready for this Crusaders?" She asked, striking a dramatic pose. Scootaloo put a hoof out, and the other two piled it on top of hers. "One,Two,Three CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS SUPERHEROES GO!" And with that earth shattering, and fear inducing battle cry, our three heroes ran off into the distance //-------------------------------------------------------// Saving The Day . . Kinda //-------------------------------------------------------// Saving The Day . . Kinda The three heroes/troublemakers sat on a hill overlooking the town. "Hey, I think I've got the hang of this!" Scootaloo exclaimed, as she hovered in the air. "How fast can you go?" Sweetie asked, looking up at her Pegasus friend. Scootaloo looked up and grinned. "Watch this!" She yelled, before flipping on her goggles and shooting upwards so fast that a crater was left underneath where she was hovering. Looking up, they saw a white, almost transparent ring segregating into nothingness. "She just . .  broke the sound barrier" Apple Bloom said slowly, while Sweetie could only nod. A split second later, Scootaloo was on the ground, grinning. "That was . .  awesome!" She pranced in place for a moment, head held high in glle, before getting right back into the mindset, and growling like a manticore. "Let's go save Ponyville!" She exclaimed, jumping up and racing down the hill, with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle beside her. When they actually got there though, they experienced an issue, there was nothing wrong going on in Ponyville. "Well, horseapples" Apple Bloom sighed, kicking at a loose stone. "Rule- bucking-one!" Sweetie hissed under her breath at her friend, looking around casually. (1) They walked through the town, until the heard a shriek."Thiiiiiiiiiiieffffff!" The three exchanged excited looks. "Yaaaay!" They cheered, forgetting rule number one, and legging it across the town, screaming terrifying war cries. (2) In a small, crowded grassy clearing, a well built stallion holding a knife. If they were logical, reasonable or smart, they would of have wondered why nopony in the crowd was helping the poor mare that was being mugged. But they were The Cutie Mark Crusaders, so to hell with all of those things! Apple Bloom raced by, and threw a punch. It caught the stallion in the chest, and sent him flying, smashing into a stop sign and getting knocked unconscious. There was silence for a second, as the crowd watched the strange pony basically pronked back  to her friends. Then another group of stallion ran at them. They must be part of the muggers gang! They all realized. This time, Sweetie Belle stepped forwards, and screamed at the stop of her lungs. "FREEZE!" The stallions were blown backwards, a few of them actually smash through walls. Not that the CMC noticed, they were too busy focused on the two earth ponies who had snarls on their features, and one was holding a sword. Without hesitating, Scootaloo flew up, until she did a sonic boom, before coming down fast, faster than any Pegasus ever, even Rainbow Dash. She hit them with all the force in her tiny hooves, which was quite a lot, both of them went flying backwards, and one's hoof was stuck out at an odd angle. The three fillies struck heroic poses and vanished, happy to save the day. //-------------------------------------------------------// Pariah's //-------------------------------------------------------// Pariah's "We did it!" Scootaloo cheered, throwing up her front hooves in glee. "Heck yeah we did!" Apple Bloom beamed as they walked back to her farm, now without their outfits. "So , now what?" Sweetie looked around excitedly, hopping beside them. Scootaloo shrugged. "Wait for them to give us medals?" She suggested, but just then Apple Jack marched up to them. "What are you all doing out here? Come inside!" She demanded, practically shoving them all in. "Wah? What's wrong?" Apple Bloom protested as Applejack studied them. "The mayor has just issued a decree, from here on out, all fillies and colt's will have to adhere to a strict curfew!" The three's eyes widened, and they started spouting protests, but Applejack wasn't having any of it. "Simmer down!" She yelled, stamping a hoof angrily for silence. "Three very dangerous ponies are loose in Ponyville." The three shared a glance. Dangerous ponies, Ha, The Cutie Mark Crusdaers can face anything!  Apple Bloom thought proudly, puffing out her chest. "They attacked a group of ponies during a play on Batpony and seem to have weird, unexplained powers that none of Twilight's spell's can explain." "Wow, they got powers too?" Scootaloo mouthed at Sweetie and she shrugged. "So, do ya know who they are?" Apple Bloom asked, tilting her head, her bow miraculously managing to stay on. Applejack shrugged. "One of them had some kind of super strength, and he was wearing a red, black and yellow outfit," Apple Bloom's face instantly paled, as she caught on to what had happened. "The other, had this kind of loud screechy thing, Twilight's calling it a Sonar- oh something, and she wore a grey costume with a dark grey scarf," at these words, Sweetie's eyes dilated to pinpricks. "And the last one was wearing this purple and silver, and she could fly fast. Like, faster than Rainbow fast." Under normal circumstances, Scootaloo would of have been delighted she was being compared to her hero, but these were no such circumstances. (1) "What's wrong with you three?" Applejack noticed their expressions. "Y'all alright?" "Fine" Scootaloo said tightly, zooming out. "Dandy" Apple Bloom, with an unnaturally big grin on her face, followed Scootaloo's lead. "Ah, uh, what they said!" Sweetie said, pointing after them, before following her three friends. Once the three of them were a good distance away, they slowed down. "What are we going to do now?!" Sweetie wailed, hooves flailing. "Well, Ah don't know about you girls, but Ah need to work on my strength, Ah can't keep breaking things, or Granny will have a fit" Apple Bloom grinned. Scootaloo stopped and looked at her. "Cutie Mark Crusaders Superhero Training Part Two?" She asked, eyes wide. "Cutie Mark Crusaders Superhero Training Part Two" Apple Bloom confirmed. "Yay!" The three fillies were lounging on the hill the next day. It was a warm day, since the Pegasus decided to balance it out later in the week with a storm, so they were enjoying this while it lasted. (2) Then Scootaloo jumped to her hooves. "You guy's wanna race?" She asked mischievously, flapping her wings, before floating up in the air. "What do we get if we win?" Sweetie asked instantly. The Pegasus thought for a moment, before smiling, "The Cutie Mark Crusaders Official Plaque will be hung under the name of the winner" she announced, knowing their response to the wooden plaque they had made to whoever won a certain challenge. So far, Scootaloo was crowning champion. "Deal!" Apple Bloom got into a typical racers position. "Deal!" Sweetie squeaked, standing beside them, straight and tall. " We race to the edge of Sweet Apple Acres, ready? Three, two, one,go!" Scootaloo shot off, leaving her friends in the dust. Apple Bloom took off after her, with Sweetie Belle behind her. Mentally, Scootaloo was calculating the odds. Apple Bloom may have a sliver of a chance, but Sweetie Belle? No how, no way. Sad, but true, the white unicorn, despite her eagerness and energy, wasn't really that athletic. Scootaloo came to a stop by the finishing line, and smiled. The title was still hers, all was well- "Scootaloo?" Wings stiffening in shock, she turned around to see Sweetie Belle standing there behind her. "When did you get here?" She demanded. Sweetie Belle, who was holding a crayon, put it down and smiled. "About half a millisecond before you did." Scootaloo's eyes narrowed. "You teleported?" She asked. Sweetie shook her head. "Nah, I ran, didn't you see?" She seemed innocently curious. "Well, how about a race, first to Apple Bloom?" She nodded, and Scootaloo shot off like a dart. Apple Bloom was galloping as fast she she could, when she heard a loud WOOSH, and suddenly Sweetie Belle was standing an inch in front of her. "Waaaaaaaaaaaah!" Apple Bloom dug in her hooves, but she was flung head over hocks. Directly in front of her was a giant mud puddle, thick, gooey, and smelly. Not even, Apple Bloom thought, casually doing a double flip and landing on her hooves, only to see Sweetie and Scootaloo looking at her with wide eyes. "Apple Bloom! You super agile!" Sweetie squeaked, breathless. "I am, I mean I AM! Your right!" "And Sweetie has super speed, she's even faster than me" Scootaloo said, grinning sheepishly, then frowned. "Hey, you guys discovered all your powers, what abut my offensive?" "Uh, Scootaloo?" "I mean, that's not fair right? I should at least get a hint?" "Scoooooooooootalooooooo?" "Maybe we can ask Discord, he'll know-" "Scootaloo!" Both fillies exclaimed at once, and Apple Bloom cleared her throat. "Your, uh, well, your glowing." Started, Scootaloo looked down, only to see beams of electric currents run throughout her body. "Cool! I have electric powers!" She grinned. "Yah all knows what this means?" Apple Bloom asked, lowering her voice dangerously. The others leaned in. "The most exciting game of tag, ever." //-------------------------------------------------------// Tag! //-------------------------------------------------------// Tag! If anypony was in those fields, you would of have heard the sound of three distinct fillies laughing. (1)  They also would of have seen an orange blur streaked high in the sky, before stopping suddenly. Scootaloo looked down, trying to find her friends. They have to be here, somewhere, she thought, eyes tracing the ground below, when she saw a flash of white out of her peripheral vision. She saw the streak moving across the fields and frowned. Sweetie is much faster than me, she thought, albeit grudgingly. I wont catch her, unless . . . Her eyes narrowed, then widened as a perfect plan came to her, laughing evilly, she dropped from the sky. Sweetie Belle was soaring over the hills, feeling pretty proud. Nopony would catch her like this! Pus, she was liking the new speed, it was nice being this- A bolt of lightning struck down not two feet away from her. Shocked, she dug in her hooves, making a ditch as she stopped, and looked back at the charred earth. "Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag!" To late, did the supersonic unicorn look up, to see her orange friend barreling down at her. "Yoooooooooooooour!" She batted Sweetie lightly on the nose. "It." Then cackling, she flew away. Sweetie looked up at her in shock, then down at the scorch marks, then back up again. Rage flitted across her face, before it went blank. "Oh, it, is ON!" She zoomed off. Meanwhile, Apple Bloom was crouching under a tree, giggling and looking around the trunk every now and then. Scootaloo's and Sweetie's speed gave them both a huge advantage, but she knew this place well, she could win this. That is until, she was sent flying, and Sweetie was standing over her. "Ha!" She cried, bouncing, before vanishing once more. "Sweetie! What was that about?" You're iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit" Sweetie Belle's voice trailed as she vanished, leaving Apple Bloom alone. Rising to her hooves, she took a few steps back, so she was out in the open, and her reddish yellow eyes narrowed on Scootaloo, and she smirked. She took a number of steps back, combined her strength and agility and . . Scootaloo meanwhile, was watching all this unfold with a smile as she hovered up in the air (2). They can't reach me up here, she thought, shaking her head as she watched Sweetie zoom away. She was so focused in the grey streak, that she didn't notice Apple Bloom gallop forwards, and jump, making the ground fold and crack under neath her, and send her flying upwards. She didn't notice the triple flip she did. She didn't even know Apple Bloom was behind her, until she crashed into her friend, spun her around and screamed. "You're it!" Before landing in a perfect parkour roll (3) in Ponyville's square. Before anypony could register who this stranger pony was, she leaped up again, this time onto a roof. Scootaloo smiled seeing her up there, and, like she did with her, slammed into her, sending them both into a mud puddle, ignoring the shocked gasps from everypony watching, to hyped up on adrenaline. "Your it!" She whispered joyfully taking off once more. Apple Bloom, now unrecognizable from being covered in mud, stood up and jumped once more. Then a rush of wind, like a slipstream passed them all by, as Sweetie ran into an alley and hid, only to feel a tapping on her shoulder. "Your it!" Apple Bloom yelled, tapping her on the nose, before jumping out of there. Sweetie smiled, and spun of her hooves, leaving a crater in the wall behind her. Sweetie Belle looked up, and her eyes focused on Scootaloo's flying figure. Using her speed, she scaled the side of a building, and leaped up. Scootaloo realized what was happening, and jerked her head up, but Sweetie caught her hoof. "Tag!" She squeaked, landing on the ground and taking off again, not noticing the trenches she was making when she ran. Sweetie and Apple Bloom found each other and raced side by side, with both of them hopping from building to building. Finally, both of them dropped down on the ground, and hid in a covered alley. Scootaloo, who realized she had lost them, looked around frantically, before screaming in frustration "Ahhhhhhhhhh!" Then dropping down at startling speed, and, in her rage, causing bolts of electricity to fly out of her fur and hit buildings. Sweetie and Apple Bloom, however, were quite calm. "She'll never find us here" Apple Bloom assured, only for her ear to twitch at a loud BANG! "You all here something?" She asked, and Sweetie cocked her head, only for both of them to be tackled by Scootaloo. With all three of them holding each other, they all shouted. "Tag! Your it!" Before bursting out laughing, ignoring the destruction of their home. Twilight Sparkle watched all this unfold with growing horror. "Spike" she finally said, looking at her assistant. "Call the girls, it's time for Rainbow Power." //-------------------------------------------------------// Banishment //-------------------------------------------------------// Banishment The Mane Six, who had already seen the damage done to their fair town, had gathered outside Twilight's door. "Glad you girls came" Twilight said, using her magic to pull open the doors, and invite her best friends in. "I'm assuming you saw what those three creatures are doing?" She asked, as they walked into the throne room. "How could we miss it?" Rarity asked, eyes wide. "So, when are we going out there and busting those guys?" Rainbow asked, throwing up a hoof. Twilight frowned. "We may have to be careful" she cautioned. "They seem to have powers that flat out, should not exist." Applejack trotted to keep up with the alicorn. "What about Discord?" She asked, but Twilight shook her head. "Discord isn't a pony, so what he does could count as normal for his kind. These three though . ." She trailed off, deep in thought, then shook herself briskly. "Just be careful, okay?" The six of them gathered in a small circle and began to concentrate. Each of them began to glow a certain color. Pinkie, a redish pink, Applejack orange, Fluttershy yellow, Rarity green, Rainbow Dash blue, and finally, Twilight Sparkle herself, purple. They rose off the floor, as their mane's grew longer and more colorful, and a rainbow shield surrounded them all, as they flew out of the castle to face their enemies. Their enemies as it were, were on the roof of the town hall, laughing and generally enjoying themselves, as they tried to get the mud that had splattered the three of them, so they didn't actually notice the rainbow colored ponies rise up above them, until Twilight Sparkles voice rang out. "Give yourself up now, and we'll go easy on you!" The Cutie Mark Crusaders looked at each other, confused. Who was she talking to? "Fine, be that way" Twilight said, realising that they weren't giving up. "But prepare to face the wrath of the Elements Of Harmony!" Corny, Scootaloo thought dismissively, though she was still looking for the bad guys Rainbow Dash and her friends were going to destroy. It wasn't until six colors hit all three of them at once, that they realized. They tried to shout, to tell them no, it's us! But they wouldn't speak. They could only be forced deeper and deeper into the Everfree Forest. They finally landed, unharmed, mostly, about two miles into it. Shakily they clamored to their hooves."Why would they do that?" Scootaloo asked, her wings trembling slightly. The others couldn't say anything. "Come on, you lot" Apple Bloom said, after a minute of silence. "Ponyville's that a way" she pointed and they all trudged off, the forest above being to thick for Scootaloo to break through and the branches and roots made it impossible for Sweetie's speed. When they finally reached Ponyville, they lifted their weary heads high, and trotted the rest of the way. However, just as Apple Bloom, who was in the lead, was about to enter, a rainbow ring converged directly in front of her, sending her sprawling backwards. "What is that?" Scootaloo asked. Sweetie, who knew quite a bit more about magic than they did, replied glumly. "A force field. It must be like the one for changelings." Nopony said anything, then Apple Bloom started walking away. "Come on, y'all, I know a place we can stay for tonight" she called over her shoulder gently, and the others followed. The 'place' in question was an old and rickety shack. It was leaning to the side, like it was going to fall over at any given moment, but it kept the wind out. "It was an old storage shed" Apple Bloom said, answering their unspoken question. "We don't use it anymore. Come on" gently, she nosed down three burlap sacks, and laid them on the floor. As they all curled up on them, Sweetie murmured quietly "I wonder what Rarity is thinking right now?" Scootaloo stared forlornly at some water that dripped through the roof. "My parents will be worried" she said sadly, while the truth was still just starting to sink into Apple Bloom. Granny, Big Mac, Applejack Holy Celestia, what must they be thinking? Closing her eyes tight to block out these thoughts, she fell into a deep, and restless sleep. Another disaster averted!" Rainbow cheered, and Applejack hoof bumped the air. "First round of ciders on me!" She said in her southern twang. Everypony cheered, and galloped away. It was much later when Rarity stumbled home, and realized a certain  sister was missing. "Sweeetie Beeelee?" She called, looking around. When nopony came, her muddled mind settled on two options. Sweetie was with her parents, or at one of The Cutie Mark Crusaders. Meanwhile, Applejack, Granny Smith and Big Mac all searched the farm for their youngest member. "Darn it, ah told her not to leave the farm!" Applejack said, throwing down her hat in annoyance. "Gone off with those Crusader Friends of hers. When she get's back, I'm grounding her!" "Scootaloo! Dinners ready!" Scootaloo's mother called, frowning when she got no response. Peeking around her daughters door, she found that she wasn't home yet. Which meant she was off with the Crusaders again. She sighed, and got ready to heat Scootaloo's dinner for when she came back.
