Chap 1
Night Flare’s POV
I trot down the street heading towards Sugar Cube Corner. Today is the day of winter wrap up and everypony is working on waking animals up clearing the snow and moving the clouds. Myself, for now, has no use. So, I walk down to Sugar Cube Corner. Mrs. and Mr. Cake will be there with their fillies so I can chat with them.
“ Welcome to Sugar Cube Corner how can I help you?!” Mrs. Cake asked.
“ Just stopping by to have a sweet treat! How are you Mrs. Cake?” I say. I visit the Cakes every day. I’ve thought about working there but I don’t think I could be around them THAT much.
“Oh I’m just dandy Neoma! And, would you like your normal?
“Hmm… I’m not sure. I’ve thought about trying the ZapApple cupcake with the rainbow icing… but my normal Vanilla cupcake with whipped icing also sounds scrumptious!” I have my way getting both a lot of the times with the Cakes.
“ Oh! You haven't had the ZapApples yet! You must try them! Here, I’ll give you one of each for the price of one. But don’t tell anypony I did this.” Mrs. Cake said skeptically.
“Of course not Mrs. Cake. Thank you so much! It was nice talking to you, but I have to see if I can help out in any way, ‘cuz it's, you know, winter wrap up. “ I don’t like staying in there for too long because Mr. Cake is such a chatter box.
So I head out after saying my goodbyes to Mrs. Cake. As I’m walking along the street I accidentally bumped into a mare I had never seen before. She had a coat as black as coal and eyes as purple as Princess Twilight’s coat.
Night Spirit’s POV
I am walking around Ponyville for the first time when I run into a crazy pony who is throwing a party.
“Wow” I think, “we don’t have this is Canterlot”.
I keep walking but I am stopped when a pink pony runs up to me and says “Hi, I’m Pinkie Pie! I know everypony in Ponyville, but not you”.
“It’s nice to meet you Pinkie Pie, I’m Night Spirit.. I am from Canterlot.. I’m new to this area and I am kind of lost”..
“Oh well I can help you! I will take you down to Sugar Cube Corner! Mrs. Cake is a lot of fun! On the way there I will introduce you to my friends!”
“Oh.. okay”..
As we are walking down to the place she calls Sugar Cube Corner she points a lot of new ponies out to me.. Rainbow Dash, Rarity, was it Fluttershy? I have no clue, all these names are making my head hurt. There is no way I will remember them all!
“And this is it! We get all our sweet treats here!”
We are about to walk in and I run into a pony with a blue coat and red eyes.
“Oh my Celestia, I am so sorry! I wasn’t looking where I was going!”
“ It's fine! All my fault… I was daydreaming about…. Winter wrap up! Yeah… Winter wrap up...” The pony stammers.
“Oh okay”.. I say but then Pinkie Pie steps between us and says..
“This is Night Spirit! She is new to Ponyville! She is from Canterlot!”
“Wow! Canterlot! That’s a ways away… I’m Neoma Flame… My mom works for the Celestials. And my dad works as a flashlight maker.”
Pinkie Pie then says “Okay well I have to go! Bye!!”
Then Neoma and I are left alone in front of Sugar Cube Corner staring into each other's eyes.
