Lonewolf and Youngblood halted before the Ursa Major Cave. The mouth of the massive cave welcomed the two hunters as they walked in as pitch black darkness quickly filled the entire area around them.

“No need for the translators, Youngblood. Let's just get the princess, and get the hell out of this place.” Lone Wolf said.

“Activate your night vision, Lonewolf.”

Youngblood's visor clicked, and the visor glowed green.

“Mother of Hooded Blades!” Youngblood roared.

“What is it, Youngblood?!”

“Turn on your night vision!” Youngblood gasped.

Lonewolf turned on his night vision, and nearly punched Youngblood in frustration as hundreds of ponies hung from the wall in the sticky black substance. Most of their chests ripped open at the ribs, revealing they have already been infected.

“They certainly have grown smarter... catching this much in such a short period of time, I might add. I'm impressed to say the least.” Lone Wolf said, slowly calming down.

The two Predators continued their way down the Ursa Major Cave, when they stumbled upon the dead body of the Ursa Major, and the Ursa Minor. Both with massive rakes on their bodies and faces.

“They couldn't have gotten infected... too big.” Youngblood said as they traversed through the cave.

"Good observation, Youngblood. I am impressed to say the least." Lonewolf said before continuing down the dark path.

There was a hiss, and at least fifteen Serpents appeared from out of nowhere. But they weren't regular Serpents. They had the head of the Serpent, the tail, and the apendages, yet the body was much larger, and more muscular. Like a horse...

“These creatures... are some sort of... horse! It all makes sense now! Unicorns and pesasus!” Lonewolf gasped.

“Since when do you know about these creatures?” Youngblood asked as he readied his weapons.

“I've done my research on humans, and their beliefs before becoming part of The Hooded Blades...”

Youngblood smirked from beneath his helmet, “Hey, Lone Wolf.”

Lone Wolf, spear in hand, glanced over to Youngblood, “Yes?”

“You ready to bring more honor and glory to your clan than anyone else has in their entire life?”

Lonewolf roared loudly, the ground beneath him shook, and the Serpents dropped from the ceiling, ready for battle.

“If we don't live, I'm going to kick your ass so hard in the Second Life that these Serpents themselves will feel it.”

Youngblood threw one of the spears at the Serpents, catching it off guard. The spear exploded upon impact, taking out the Serpent.

“I can live with that.”

Youngblood and Lonewolf charged at the Serpents, roaring as they prepared for an onslaught.

Youngblood grabbed two of the Serpents by their necks, and tossed them against the wall. He grabbed one of them, still in a daze, and slammed his wrist blade into its stomach. Acid blood sprayed across Youngblood's helmet, but he didn't care. He threw the Serpent across the room, either killing it or causing it to bleed out. The other Serpent began to slowly get up but was cut off when Lonewolf, out of nowhere, slammed into it. The rest of the Serpent Hybrids chasing after him.

Youngblood took out his bladed disk, and threw it at the massive crowd of Serpents. He sliced effortlessly through most of the crowd, quickly returning to Youngblood.

“It seems this old boys time has run out, Lone Wolf. Too much acid blood finally got to the blade.” Youngblood yelled as he threw the melted bladed disk to the ground.

Lonewolf quickly turned around, stabbing one of the Serpent Hybrids in the skull. He quickly removed the staff, and speared it at one of the other Hybrids.

“Don't use your shoulder blasters unless you are forced to! We are going to need all the plasma energy we can get if we are to return to our own planet.” Lone Wolf said as he slammed two Serpents heads against each other.

But more and more still came, until the two hunters had become surrounded.

Yet the Serpent Hybrids merely looked at the hunters, studying them.

“How smart have they become...?” Youngblood asked.

Lone Wolf reached to take off his helmet.

“The hell are you doing?! Taking off your mask is a sign of surrender! If the hunters back home ever find out, you could be shunned from the clan!” Youngblood roared.

Lonewolf stroked the side of his helmet, and began to pick at the pipes. He slowly removed the mask, revealing his humanoid face.

He had a massive, deep scar running through his right eye. Yet there was no right eye there, as it was stitched shut. He was also missing most of his teeth, including the lower left mandible.

Instead, a bionic device that glowed black and red planted itself onto Lone Wolf's face that replaced his right eye.

“Lonewolf, what the fuck do you think you're doing?!”

Lonewolf's mouth clicked menacingly, “Doing what I should have done in the first place. Blow it all the ashes!”

The Serpents merely watched. Because of their hosts they came out of, they developed an interest in others affairs. A type of evolution

“For fifteen billion years we've hunted these creatures, and for what? Nothing but destruction. Is that what we're made to do? Destroy?”

Youngblood ran over to Lonewolf, grabbing him, “Think about the others that live here!”

Lone Wolf pushed Youngblood away, snarling at him. He walked up to one of the Serpent Hybrids, and brushed the top of its head with his hand.

“These creatures feel no remorse, no mercy, no tolerance. It's... amazing. I admire it's purity...”

“They're abominations! That's why we destroy them!”

“Why did we make them...?”

“Because we could, and that they are a good match for hunters like you and me!”

Lonewolf turned his head, giving a death stare at Youngblood, “How would you feel if you heard the same thing coming from your creator?”

Lonewolf stroked the Serpent's chin, suddenly stabbing it in the head with his wrist blade. It was just an act.

The other Serpent Hybrids hissed and fled.

“What...?” Youngblood stammered.

“These... horses are friendly creatures. These Serpent Hybrids came from them, thus they will feel the same. They are... not as merciless as the regular Serpents.”

Lone Wolf picked up his helmet, and put it back on his head.

“I see...” Youngblood said.

The two hunters continued down the dark cave.
