OC One-Shots
What Happens (When the Titanic Sinks)
Load Full Story“I can’t believe it!” I know I was being stupid, overexcited, but it was usual. Blaze just smiled. He’s more of the sweet type of pony, unless he’s in blunt mode.
“Yeah. You talk about Titanic 24/7.”Annie deadpanned.
“But I really—oomph!” The next thing I knew, a hoof was shoved into my mouth.
“Harmony, calm down.” Annie raised an eyebrow. “And you’re coming to my house today, right?”
“YEAH!!!!!!” I don’t know why, perhaps it’s because I haven’t seen her for so long, or perhaps because I’ve been super hyper these days. I felt much, much better.
“And you still owe me a hairdo.” It was her turn to stick her tongue out. Oh well. Whatever.
“Yeah. Alright. Whatever in the hell.”
“And Blaze still needs a nerdy suit.” Annie rolled her eyes.
“I don’t. I’m not a nerd.” Blaze protests.
“Seriously dude. You skipped a grade, got straight A’s for every freakin’ subject, doesn’t talk much, and when you do you sound like an encyclopedia. What here does not make a nerd?” I smirked. “Besides, even I’ve never beaten you at science. Every single pony says that I’m really good at that stuff and you beat me easily. How’s that even possible without being a nerd.”
“I game.” He said calmly.
“Everyone freakin’ does.” I retorted.
“I sleep in.” He adds.
“Is there anyone who doesn’t do that? Waking up at eight o’clock does not count as sleeping in.” I knew my eyebrows were raised at that point.
“I like sleeping in music class.” He takes a breath and sighs.
“Just shut the fuck up. Your argument is invalid.” I was tempted to add something else, but decided against it. I don’t exactly like to watch ponies I care about suffer at my hooves. “Annie, what time is it?”
“Gosh!” She exclaimed. “It’s already four twenty!”
The two of us were rushing at such a speed I swore my ears were going to chip off like ice in the cold November wind. Annie wore a hat, so it was likely that she didn’t feel the same way.
Finally, her house came into view. It was a two-story house with a grand exterior, yard, balcony, and a large interior. I had never lived in a house like that before. Mom had to save money for me to go to school, although I did get scholarships, and my recklessness would mean another sum of money towards my injuries. I probably spent the most money in our entire household.
“Mom----!” Annie knocked on the door.
“You guys are here!” Her mother smiled.
Annie’s mother was a formal, prim and proper middle-aged pony who was really nice to everyone, and was the type of pony that got along with everyone. She also knew the best restaurants and places to shop, and every time all of us (me, my mother, Annie, and her mother) were going out for dinner, she would pick a place, and it was a guarantee that we were going to have an amazing time.
“Yeah mom.” Annie placed her schoolbag on the couch, but not before taking out her laptop, paper, and other drawing materials. “Race you to my room!”

“So we need a bunch of coats, scarves, jewelry, and hats?” Annie jotted down the notes.
“Yeah. I can always make them.” That was a big fat joke. I couldn’t sew very well and the only things I did were small dresses for my dolls. Silly things.
“Jewelry? Maybe. Clothes? GODDAMNED CELESTIA HELP ME!!!” Annie waved her forehooves around.
I let out a laugh. It was fun hanging out with her. We both loved art, jokes, and pranking. Those were common, as we usually did bits of acting for inside jokes.
“You know that my mom has a bunch of coats? I think she’ll let us borrow one.” Before my parents had their divorce, my mother loved clothes shopping; she bought various dresses, coats, jumpers, and anything you could think of. But now, even though the older clothes remain, she barely buys anything except when she needs it. It’s a weird change for me, seeing her in rather plain clothes instead of her usual formal dresses, jewelry and the curled hair.
“Sure.” Annie knew about all of it. Last year, I broke down in the middle of lunch, and she heard me out. It was really sad for me, as I knew that my life would be turned upside down, but she had really helped me in many ways; the transition, comfort, and acting as a guidance for me when my mother was unreachable.
“And now we still need gloves. Yes, gloves.” I typed away at my laptop, opting to save my notes digitally. I lose everything. No one wants to help me find anything, because it’ll take days to make any result. “Can you get them?”
“Sure thing.” Annie smiled.
“I’ll make the jewelry, okay?” I asked.
“Of course! That is, if you don’t ruin your room again.” We shared a laugh at the memory.

“It’s the day!” Annie smiled brightly. Blaze was looking uncomfortable in his suit. I was kicking and fiddling with my dress. Azure was being stupid and looking like a pig. Everything was normal except the crazy Titanic costumes we were wearing.
Annie, me, Blaze and unfortunately, Azure, were all in first class.
It’s boring, really, but I’m getting my coltfriend. If Azure doesn’t try to steal him.
I know, Azure is ugly. But apparently she doesn’t think so. She’s always talking about fashion and being stupid, and her taste is awful. Maybe I’m being too critical but I hate her. End of conversation. She’s a traitor.
The couches are comfortable at the least. I’d say that this place is definitely comfortable enough to sleep in, but with the teacher shouting at the boys (who were playing video games…again) I’d say that sleeping wasn’t possible.
I liked looking outside. The lake was calm and rippled with the wind. I could feel a slight rocking sensation. I felt relaxed, that was, until a loud shout rang through the air.
“THE SHIP HAS SUNK!!!”
Oh crap. I know who that was.
