Cooking Might Not Be Your Thing
Blue Cell sighed, what was she doing? She stood, crouched, her short, curly dark blue mane tied into a bun at the top of her head. A drop of sweat rolled off her face from the heat of what was in front of her and the physical strain on her body from being in this position for about, maybe a hour? Blue cell had lost track a long time ago, being whisked in the way it browned and rose from the heat.
*Ding* Blue cell gasped, being pulled from her trance, and quickly used her magic to rip open the oven and yank out the bread, hairs falling from her frazzled mane and tail. She threw it on the kitchen table, knocking one of the two chairs over from the force. Hurried hoof steps raced down to the kitchen just seconds after.
"Celly, whats wrong! Wheres the fire!?"
In the doorway was a earth pony armed with a fire extinguisher, a hint of panic in her eyes. Her coat was a bright yellow slightly wet with sweat, her mane and tail was a pink mess of swirls and puffs, kinda like cotton candy, and rimmed with purple?
Her tensed posture relaxed when she saw no fire, just a knocked down chair, and put down the fire extinguisher. The pony looked over to her marefriend, Blue Cell, about to question what happened but then she saw it. On the table was a glass tray and inside was, what even was that!? It looked like someone got a black brick and beat it with a bat! The pony looked up, expecting rage but, seeing joy instead on her friends face.
"Sweet Swirl! I *huff* made... something?"
Blue Cell started to laugh, Sweet Swirl joining in soon afterwards. Both giggled away their energy and fear but soon collected themselves, looking down on the thing Celly had created.
"So, what was this supposed to be?"
"...Breeeead, I should have asked for help" Celly said in a defeated tone. Sweet Swirl frowned , she hated seeing people she cared for upset.
"Come on, lets cut this bad boy open!" Swirl said in a attempt to cheer her lover up.
"Ya sure you're ready for this" Celly said with mock seriousness in tone and a smile on her fuzzy purple face.
"Course, ive seen worse... probably" And with that she slammed down the knife. It didn't cut through. After a few more swings the crust broke open like a geode...
