The Cursed Pony

Once upon a time, there was a newborn alicorn named Darkness. His parents are Nightmare Moon and King Sombra. They ruled the Crystal Empire for thousands of years. Darkness is the heir to the empire when he is born. Years ago before Darkness was born, the royal sisters and King Sombra came at battle to control the Crystal Empire. Nightmare Moon and King Sombra was allies, so in the end they won the battle. As times passed Nightmare Moon and King Sombra learned to love each other. Silence filled the Empire as the two couples were expecting a foal. King Sombra went away for a while to take over another kingdom called, "The Stronghold Empire."

"AHHH..AHHHHHHH", screamed Nightmare Moon.

"You'll make it! Keep Pushing!" The nurse said.

Minutes passed by into hours when a wailing came through the room.

" Waaaaaaa..Waaaaaaaaa" The foal cried out.

When the nurse gave the foal to Nightmare Moon, Nightmare Moon said, "I shall name him..Darkness."

Months passed and Darkness was sent away to learn all the dark magic on this land for two years. When his father returned, King Sombra, taught him how to use dark magic properly and how to battle. Nightmare Moon watched them both for quite a while since she wasn't ruling after King Sombra came back.

"Darkness, I'm going to teach you what dark magic is and how to control it without it controlling you.", King Sombra said.

Darkness replied, "Father, i already know what dark magic is and how to control it. Can't you teach me something else?"

King Sombra looked puzzled for a moment then finally said, "My Son, I will teach you how to destroy light magic, forever."

"How do you do that?", replied Darkness.

King Sombra snickered and stared at his son, "You'll figure out when you destroy friendship magic."

"But how can you destory the magic of friendship since any pony can create friendship." said Darkness.

"I know that, however I AM the King of Dark magic and friendship needs: Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Loyalty, and Magic."

"Father, no matter what dark does, Friendship is always there. You cannot destroy it." Whined Darkness.

King Sombra glared and snapped at him, "Silence! Were you there when i killed Celestia? Or when i took over the Crystal Empire? No! I know what i'm doing."

Darkness looked down and mumbled, "Alright..."

"You shut up and listen to me, when you make ponies lie, then Honesty is destroyed; when ponies are hateful, then Kindness is gone; when ponies are not laughing, then Laughter is ruined; when-"

"Yeah, when the others aren't doing whatever they are gone. I get it." Interrupted Darkness.

Nightmare Moon over heard their argument and confronted her son, "Obey your father, Darkness, One day when you have kids you'll have this burden to carry on. You WILL do as you're told. Do i make myself clear?"

"Really, mom kids, I'm only ten years old and you want me to get marry and have kids. Why don't you give me another brother or sister?"

King Sombra nipped at his son in anger, "You will rule one day. Your Mother and I have chosen you. WE don't plan on having another just so you don't have to do your responsibility. Now listen for once, Stop being a brat, Understood?"

"But Dad, l have listen to you and my mother since when I can talk and that like about nine years ago, can't you give me some freedom." back talked Darkness.

"Just shut up and go to your room and I better not see you mumble again," when he saw Darkness mumble, "Now go to your room right now." snap King Sombra.

The three alicorns separated to do their own duties but what they don't know is that a great evil plan is coming toward them.
