Pinkie's eyes popped open and she began blinking rapidly. She had just awoke from not just her slumber, but quite the confusing dream, at least, that is how the common pony would portray it. Pinkie Pie, she was mutch further from that of the normal ponie's standards, she found that dream exillerating. An unrealistic grin crept onto her face, as it slowly began to grow in size.

"That was the most super-funnest-dreamiest dream I've ever had!"

She chirped cheerfully with glee, before hopping out of her bedding covers and sloped down onto the strong wooden floor, of which she had placed a colourful circular carpet that bared images of confetti, and other party supplies with a fairly high usage. The bright mare bounced her way over to her mirror. Her sky blue eyes were met with the vision of a tangled mane, curls enveloped together and hair strands irregularily placed. Pinkie shifted her body a few inches, whilst cocking her head to the side in a sleep-like state.

"Wowzers, that dream must of made me do some pretty silly things!"

'Yes, you were restless all night. Maybe you should stop partying for a few hours and clear your mind.'

The owner of the tangled mane gasped at the sudden presence of the other voice, before her smile deflated and it transformed into an unpleased frown. Where did the critisizing voice come from, you may ask. Well, the being of which the voice slipped from, was Pinkamena Diane Pie. Indeed, the pair's birth names sounded confusingly similar, well as a matter of fact, they were conjoined in the body and mind, but not the way that you may think. The duo actually have Dissiosiative Identity Disorder, or more commonly know as 'Multiple' or 'Split' personalities.

Pinkamena was a rock farmer whom took great delight in self company, silent activities, and a calm, neutural lifestyle. Meanwhile, Pinkie was an outgoing, social butterfly who liked baking edible substences that contained various amounts of sugar and having fun with her aquaintences and friends. She also took a varying degree of pleasure from throwing parties around the town of Ponyville, of where she lived with her other, pet alligator Gummy, the bakery owners, and their two children, who were three months of age.

The two personalities unfortunately absolutley despised one another, despite being conbined together for most of their existence on the earth. It all dates back to one gloomy day on a rock farm, where Pinkamena was getting the rocks ready for the upcoming harvest. She sighed unhapily as she selected another dull rock and rolled the lifeless object into the pile, then went on to lift her head up to the sky. Suddenly, an ear piercing sound blew through the rock farm, and a flash of colours in a circular shape blasted through the sky, and then something incredible happened. Because Pinkamena had never saw something so beauifully radient, it changed her forever. Within a split second, the filly's mind split, causing Pinkie Pie to emerge. The alternate personality ended up throwing a party for her family, causing her to earn her cutie mark, three balloons symbolizing specialty in happiness, parties and freedom.

After that, Pinkie was always controling the body, she moved to Ponyvill and the Cakes took her into their home. She made friends with everypony in the small town, memorizing everything about each and every single individual pony. Pinkamena didn't get any say at all in her life after Pinkie Pie emerged, the party pony did it all herself, made her own best friends, got her own pet alligator, even got her own element of harmonic power. (Though everypony just calls them the elements of harmony.)

"Can't you be quiet for FIVE MINUTES!?"

'Well look who's talking.'

The pair would often fight like this. Most ponies would just brush it off as 'Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie' because of how she was talking to herself. That is incredibly false, if they had actually heard what she was saying, then they would have known, because Pinkie would never refer to herself as Pinkamena, not in all the time the world ever has. They both thought of eachother as being unreasonable, and because of this, they fought every day and night since Pinkie's awakening and moving away. The alternate pony simply thought that Pinkamena was an evil voice, trying to get her depressed, but Pinkamena knew the situation. She wasn't rally sure what it was called, or how to say it. All she knew was that she had another pony in her mind that can control her body.

Some specialist mental doctors say that the condition is caused by extreme trauma, but it hasn't been proven, and it's very unlikely that it ever will be, because there was no trauma in Pinkie nor Pinkamena's experience. Others think it's stress, but there wasn't a single dose of stress that was being carried at the time, just boredom and impatience.

The two personalities were still arguing, except for the fact that Pinkie had stopped paying attention to Pinkamena when she began to say that she was right and that Pinkie was a mistake. To repress the voice in her head, Pinkie wandered downstairs for breakfast to attemt to forget it and be filled with glee again. She trotted through the kitchen and placed on the counter a bowl, semi-skimmed milk, a box of Hoofios, and a baby blue spoon.  Pinkamena mentally facehooved at the childish choice of eating supplies, the bowl was lavender with sparkly white bunnies around it, why would she not feel as if the choice was met with incorrectly?

Once Pinkamena had her rant on how much she hated Pinkie and her choices in life, Pinkie turned her head to face the clock. 7:28 a.m, her shift would be starting soon. The cheerful mare put her dishes in the sink, and began preparing pasteries. She made a baker's dozen of chocolate muffins and hurridly placed them to cool down in the counter without hesitation.

Mere seconds later, ponies began entering the bakery and Pinkie happily oblidged to take their orders. Pinkamena sighed heavily, as her mind began to wander. She quietly pondered some more about her life, going into extreme detail, and a wave of worrisome thoughts crashed over her. Once getting back her strengh, she noticed that one of Pinkie's friends, Twilight Sparkle, who was a student of Princess Celestia, had began talking to the pink mare controlling her body.

"So how about you come to the library later and we can talk about it?"

"Sure Twilight!"

Pinkamena was thinking of what Twilight meant, but was oblivious to the fact that even if she had listened to the full conversation, she still wouldn't know.

'What was that about?'

'None of your buisness, she's my friend, stay out of my life. And I don't know anyway, she never said.'

Pinkamena gave one last ungreatful sigh, before she gave in to the mare whom she despised so deepy.

'Fine.'
