//-------------------------------------------------------// You, Me, Us. -by That Sloth Over There- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Argumental Mornings //-------------------------------------------------------// Argumental Mornings Pinkie's eyes popped open and she began blinking rapidly. She had just awoke from not just her slumber, but quite the confusing dream, at least, that is how the common pony would portray it. Pinkie Pie, she was mutch further from that of the normal ponie's standards, she found that dream exillerating. An unrealistic grin crept onto her face, as it slowly began to grow in size. "That was the most super-funnest-dreamiest dream I've ever had!" She chirped cheerfully with glee, before hopping out of her bedding covers and sloped down onto the strong wooden floor, of which she had placed a colourful circular carpet that bared images of confetti, and other party supplies with a fairly high usage. The bright mare bounced her way over to her mirror. Her sky blue eyes were met with the vision of a tangled mane, curls enveloped together and hair strands irregularily placed. Pinkie shifted her body a few inches, whilst cocking her head to the side in a sleep-like state. "Wowzers, that dream must of made me do some pretty silly things!" 'Yes, you were restless all night. Maybe you should stop partying for a few hours and clear your mind.' The owner of the tangled mane gasped at the sudden presence of the other voice, before her smile deflated and it transformed into an unpleased frown. Where did the critisizing voice come from, you may ask. Well, the being of which the voice slipped from, was Pinkamena Diane Pie. Indeed, the pair's birth names sounded confusingly similar, well as a matter of fact, they were conjoined in the body and mind, but not the way that you may think. The duo actually have Dissiosiative Identity Disorder, or more commonly know as 'Multiple' or 'Split' personalities. Pinkamena was a rock farmer whom took great delight in self company, silent activities, and a calm, neutural lifestyle. Meanwhile, Pinkie was an outgoing, social butterfly who liked baking edible substences that contained various amounts of sugar and having fun with her aquaintences and friends. She also took a varying degree of pleasure from throwing parties around the town of Ponyville, of where she lived with her other, pet alligator Gummy, the bakery owners, and their two children, who were three months of age. The two personalities unfortunately absolutley despised one another, despite being conbined together for most of their existence on the earth. It all dates back to one gloomy day on a rock farm, where Pinkamena was getting the rocks ready for the upcoming harvest. She sighed unhapily as she selected another dull rock and rolled the lifeless object into the pile, then went on to lift her head up to the sky. Suddenly, an ear piercing sound blew through the rock farm, and a flash of colours in a circular shape blasted through the sky, and then something incredible happened. Because Pinkamena had never saw something so beauifully radient, it changed her forever. Within a split second, the filly's mind split, causing Pinkie Pie to emerge. The alternate personality ended up throwing a party for her family, causing her to earn her cutie mark, three balloons symbolizing specialty in happiness, parties and freedom. After that, Pinkie was always controling the body, she moved to Ponyvill and the Cakes took her into their home. She made friends with everypony in the small town, memorizing everything about each and every single individual pony. Pinkamena didn't get any say at all in her life after Pinkie Pie emerged, the party pony did it all herself, made her own best friends, got her own pet alligator, even got her own element of harmonic power. (Though everypony just calls them the elements of harmony.) "Can't you be quiet for FIVE MINUTES!?" 'Well look who's talking.' The pair would often fight like this. Most ponies would just brush it off as 'Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie' because of how she was talking to herself. That is incredibly false, if they had actually heard what she was saying, then they would have known, because Pinkie would never refer to herself as Pinkamena, not in all the time the world ever has. They both thought of eachother as being unreasonable, and because of this, they fought every day and night since Pinkie's awakening and moving away. The alternate pony simply thought that Pinkamena was an evil voice, trying to get her depressed, but Pinkamena knew the situation. She wasn't rally sure what it was called, or how to say it. All she knew was that she had another pony in her mind that can control her body. Some specialist mental doctors say that the condition is caused by extreme trauma, but it hasn't been proven, and it's very unlikely that it ever will be, because there was no trauma in Pinkie nor Pinkamena's experience. Others think it's stress, but there wasn't a single dose of stress that was being carried at the time, just boredom and impatience. The two personalities were still arguing, except for the fact that Pinkie had stopped paying attention to Pinkamena when she began to say that she was right and that Pinkie was a mistake. To repress the voice in her head, Pinkie wandered downstairs for breakfast to attemt to forget it and be filled with glee again. She trotted through the kitchen and placed on the counter a bowl, semi-skimmed milk, a box of Hoofios, and a baby blue spoon.  Pinkamena mentally facehooved at the childish choice of eating supplies, the bowl was lavender with sparkly white bunnies around it, why would she not feel as if the choice was met with incorrectly? Once Pinkamena had her rant on how much she hated Pinkie and her choices in life, Pinkie turned her head to face the clock. 7:28 a.m, her shift would be starting soon. The cheerful mare put her dishes in the sink, and began preparing pasteries. She made a baker's dozen of chocolate muffins and hurridly placed them to cool down in the counter without hesitation. Mere seconds later, ponies began entering the bakery and Pinkie happily oblidged to take their orders. Pinkamena sighed heavily, as her mind began to wander. She quietly pondered some more about her life, going into extreme detail, and a wave of worrisome thoughts crashed over her. Once getting back her strengh, she noticed that one of Pinkie's friends, Twilight Sparkle, who was a student of Princess Celestia, had began talking to the pink mare controlling her body. "So how about you come to the library later and we can talk about it?" "Sure Twilight!" Pinkamena was thinking of what Twilight meant, but was oblivious to the fact that even if she had listened to the full conversation, she still wouldn't know. 'What was that about?' 'None of your buisness, she's my friend, stay out of my life. And I don't know anyway, she never said.' Pinkamena gave one last ungreatful sigh, before she gave in to the mare whom she despised so deepy. 'Fine.' //-------------------------------------------------------// Disasterous Fruit //-------------------------------------------------------// Disasterous Fruit Pinkamena was furious, Pinkie had just went around town and talked to everypony, then lectured her on how much better they are than the 'Stupid-Mena Dumbflank Pie'. Rage boiled in the heart of the trapped mare, and she let out a low growl of hatred. 'You were a mistake.' Pinkie stopped dead in her tracks, shocked. She made a comeback quickly, but it was poor and hardly effective. 'You were! All that you are is a face in the mirror,' 'All that you are is a dying scream.' The mare in control had been using songs as comebacks all day, but it was rather easy for Pinkamena to make a comeback. After all, she knew all the songs Pinkie knew, and even more that she could use as an advanage. Earlier, when they were fighting, Pinkie ended up insulting Cloudy Quartz, their mother, to which Pinkamena made fun of Pinkie's pet aligarot, Gummy. The duo ended up arguing so much that Pinkie snapped and hit her head on a solid wall to try and stop Pinkamena from talking. Of course, her plan backfired terribly. They would have had serious damage if the Cakes didn't know how to treat gashes. Apparently they were trained for things like that when they were in a class on how to bake. Lots of accidents happen in the kitchen, but it could happen anywhere in the house and cause much more damage. Luckily, the two mares were fine and could go out to town, just so long as they don't get their wound infected. 'SHUT UP!' You know, you really are a useless waste of life, Pinkie. I hope you die. How dare you! What if I told Celestia on you, huh? Would you like that?! Actually, that would please me signifficantly. Oh, you are such a... a mätä nuudeli! Oh dear, forein childish cursing, I'm so scared. What are you going to do, give me a cupcake without icing? Go and choke on your mane you- You're walking going to walk into the library, you imbecile! Before Pinkie's brain could process the information, her face hit the door of Twilight's library. The mare backed away slowly, and caressed her tender snout carefully. "Ouch..." 'I told you to look where you're going.' 'Oh yeah, when?' 'That time you fell into the river, when you tripped over Angel Bunny and broke his arm, when-' 'Fine, I get it. Just shut up.' 'Okay then, mother.' Pinkie ignored the sarcasm and opened the library door into Twilight's home. "Hiya Twilight!" The lavended mare turned her head and dropped her atention on her previous activity and walked overto the pink mare. "Hi Pinkie Pie." The mare greeted casually, which leaved Pinkie puzzled. "So... Twilight, what did you want me to come over for?" "Oh yes, that's right!" The unicorn trotted over to her desk and picked up a small red tub and levitated it to her party pony friend, to which the recieving pony gladly accepted. "Uhh... What is it?" "It's half a strawberry." Both Pinkie and Pinkamena were struck with confusion at that very moment. 'Why a strawberry? And half of one at that.' 'Can't you keep to yourself for once?' Pinkamena ignored Pinkie's comment and took control while Pinkie was in the mist of her reply. "Why in Equestria would I need half a strawberry, Twilight?" "..." Pinkamena's mane was limp as it hung over her face like a silk curtain, her coat began to gradually become more dusty and dull. "Pinkie... Are you feeling alright?" "I should be asking you that exact question." Twilight froze. She stared at the pink mare before her with a look of concern plastered on her face. She cocked her head, and opened her mouth to speak, but decieded against it. Pinkamena realized what she had done and quicklyshot an unrealistic grin at the unicorn. "Thanks Twilight, nice talking, I have to go now--bye!" And with that, Pinkamena raced to Sugarcube Corner and crashed into her bedroom, dropping the box that Twilight had given Pinkie thirty seconds ago. 'Now you know how it feels.' 'Oh quiet down, you.' Pinkamena helped herself up and looked around the room. 'Where should I put this?' 'Pfft, why would I tell you?' 'Fine, I'll put it on this nightstand.' Pinkamena gently placed the small box in the centre of the wooden object, and puled herself onto the bed. She slowly lowered herself onto the sheets and allowed herself to relax. The dull mare began to ponder, then swiftly turned herself around on the spot to face the box. She stared it down, from top to bottom, before clutching the object and bringing it cose to her face for a total of five seconds. She then put the box down next to her, and lifted herself up. Reaching for the box once again she opened the lid to reveal a perfectly split half strawberry. "Hmm... Wonder what this tastes like?" Taking a small bite out of the red fruit, Pinkamena instantly ran into the bathroom and spat out the edible substence. "So.... Sour!" //-------------------------------------------------------// For The Better //-------------------------------------------------------// For The Better So what have you learned today? Never to trust any of yout friends because they might try to poison me. Ugh, no! You were meant to learn that it's always better when I'm in charge. Oh come on now, it would have played out in the exact same way! I highly doubt that. You're an idiot. Yeah, because I haven't destroyed you yet! I could say the same about you. Why you little- What are you going to do, bake a cake and put too much flour in? I- Or are you going to get that pest of yours to bite me? Pathetic. That's what you are. You... I hope you die, you piece of rubbish! Says you? Yes, says me. Why don't you go back to playing with your Barbie's, small child. I'm not a child! I'm an adult mare with alot of life to live- Yeah, yeah, life's a party, blah blah blah. You're... You're just ants at a picnic! ...Really? Yeah! That's all you've got? ...Well I can do more if you'd shut up and let me think! What gives you the rights to say that? Why don't I just go to Twilight and get you removed? Because you wouldn't survive without me. That's not true! I would be much better off without you. You weren't even meant to appear! This is all Rainbow Dash's fault. Hey, don't drag Dashie into this Stinkamena! I smell better than you at least. At least I have lots and lots on ponies on my side, nopony gives a flying feather about you! Pinkamena's trail of thought died down at that statement. She knew that Pinkie was just trying to get at her, but that hit her hard. It was sort of true, she only knew ponies that didn't know her, and her family. Growing up on a rock farm without emotion, Pinkamena never really knew if her family truly cared about anything other than rocks. All their cutie marks were related to that subject, and hers? Three balloons, yellow and blue. Pinkamena always thought that her talent would catch on through the family, but this was not so. Pinkie was the one who got the cutie mark, not her. Pinkamena pondered about this all night, with Pinkie occasionaly asking if she'd given up yet. No matter what, she couldn't get it out of her mind. There was some nagging feeling that she needed to know what her family really thought of her. But of corse, they would think of Pinkie. They didn't know about the condition, and it wouldn't be wise to announce it out of nowhere. The thought of their reactions began to frighten Pinkamena, so she decided against telling them. But she needed to know what her family thought of her as an indivigual, not Pinkie, but the little straight maned filly that got locked away in the middle of her rock farming. But if she were to do that, then she'd have to tell them what happened, and she couldn't risk that. After tossing and turning for most of the night, Pinkamena finally came up with an answer. She was to board the next train to the rock farm and ask her family what their thought on her were. Jumping out of bed, Pinkamena turned the lights on and scanned the room. The train ride would be long and boring, she needed something to keep both her and Pinkie's mind occupied. She caught a glance of a small white box on the dresser and began to slowly stroll towards it. It had a picture of a powdered doughnut on it, with various coloured sprinkles untidily spread through the icing. Pinkamena opened the box carefully, and sure enough, it had a baker's dozen of doughnuts. Some were plain, a few had just icing, and many had either white, purple, or orange white icing balls or sprinkles placed all over. The alluring smell of the pastries made a small smirk creep it's way onto Pinkamena's face. She picked up the box and carried it over to the corner closest to her bed, where her saddle bags rested. She plopped the box into the bags, doing her best to make sure not to disturb the food's order. Pleased with the fit, Pinkamena then began searching the room for any other supplies that she might need. It didn't take her long to notice a sketch book, pencils, and a few rubbers neatly tucked away in some drawers. Picking them all up at once the best she could, Pinkamena plopped them down in the saddle bags along with a few more pencils, and a pencil sharpener. Satisfied with the items, she put the bags onto her back, grabbed a few bits, and made her way out of the bedroom. Quietly sneaking down the stairs, Pinkamena grabbed the keys to the bakery and unlocked the door, stepping out into the fresh air. Through Luna's moonlight, she was guided through the streets to the train station, at the end of Ponyville. Once she arrived, Pinkamena looked around the area carefully, and noticed a stallion in the booth, and began to approach him. He looked tired, to say the least. His emerald green eyes were dark, and the bags under his eyes suggested nothing but exhaustion. He had a light grey coat that shone with the light, and his mane was a clear blue, with tats at the edges. "Excuse me sir?" Pinkamena said rather quietly, trying to be as polite as she could. "What can I do for you, ma'am?" The stallion replied sleepily, his voice montone. "I was wondering if I could get a ticket for the closest train to Hoovington Road?" "Here." The stallion ripped off a ticket from the wheel and handed it to Pinkamena through the small hole in the glass, and Pinkamena gave him five bits in return. "Thank you." Pinkamena put the ticket in her saddle bags and walked over to the bench, waiting patiently. She took in her surroundings and decided that she would give drawing a try. Opening her bags, Pinkamena took out the pencils and sketch book, then began to draw the grass and trees a few meters away. She had been drawing the landscape for about twenty minutes, before the train to her destination arrived. She entered the vehircle and gave in the ticket. Taking a seat, Pinkamena stared out the window and leaned carelessly on the glass. It's for the better.
