Sunset Shimmer the Doctor's Companion.
Kaiju hunt, AKA: Justice. re-edited at 19 A.
The whole gang, minus Shimmy, boarded the TARDIS, ready to head to their next destination.
The time was 3 o'clock in the frozen North Mountains in the EQG universe. The time, when EQG Sunset Shimmer disappeared nobody seeing her alive ever more.
There sat Sunset Shimmer, wrapped in heavy winter clothing. Flash Sentry sat next to her. He suddenly transfigured into Sunset Shimmer, the huge, ugly Kaiju. Before he could take a breath or try anything, he was surrounded by a force field. He then disappeared to a place only inhabited by robots.
"Greetings, and welcome to the Madame De Pompadour time prison. Please cooperate for your own good and safety..." the robots said, touching the kaiju, who didn't feel in any danger. He was quickly pulled into the endless darkness. He was done for.
The Doctor whispered to Sunset Shimmer, who was with him, while he folded his Sonic Screwdriver, "There, now he's en-route to the time prison where he will have to pay for his crimes."
“Good, but now what’s up with my other me? I mean, she's alone on the mountains…” Sunset Shimmer asked with confusion laced in her voice.
The Doctor said, “She had been in the TARDIS, right now she knows more than you about time travel but this whole reality is rewriting itself, if we enter the TARDIS now, you and Flash Sentry wouldn't be erased. Also, you guys can’t come back to this universe after this."
“Well, I’ll pick another place so we can hang the hat. Perhaps Equestria. Hey Flash, would you be my little pony?” Sunset teasingly said.
The Doctor, surprised at Sunset's quick thinking commented, "Wow, you pick up fast on things. Also, your Alicorn self had been erased, you're back as a Unicorn."
"Thank Celestia. Being normal is all I want." Sunset replied, wiping her brow, relieved that she was going to be back to normal.
The Doctor then replied, "Sunset you aren't normal. You will always be one of my 'impossible girls' like Clara. Never forget that, alright?"
"HEY!" Flash Sentry commented, offended. "'Little pony?' I'm not that small!"
“Why?” Sunset asked the Doctor, ignoring her boyfriend..
“Resuscitating people, for instance." the Doctor answered.
“Doctor, don’t forget that I can't revive anyone now.” Sunset Shimmer said back. "I won the ability by killing the kaiju and becoming... Well, the only me. Now that the kaiju is jailed... Well, you know the rest."
Meanwhile, in the Madame de Pompadour prison, one of the robots scanned the foe. After detecting no life signs, it radioed to the corpse retrieval team.
"If it's alive, you would just lose some power. But due to your Equestrian origins, plus your unicorn form there, you won't lose all of it. Are you happy now?" the Doctor said in reply.
"Uh, yes. I think... that's a lot to digest..." Sunset said, weaving her hand through her hair as she took in the information.
"Then it's fine. The TARDIS force field will protect your abilities. But no planet blowing for you!" the Doctor informed her.
"Planet blowing?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "Really?" she asked again, getting no reply from the Doctor.
All them then embarked on the TARDIS to ‘T0’ EQG universe, the present.
"Thanks, I have to say goodbye to all of the girls... It's tough considering that I'm leaving for good." Sunset said with a sad smile.
After scratching his nose, the Doctor replied, "Look, Sunset. You can actually meet them from time to time. Also, you can meet yourself like what Twilight did with Twolight."
Twolight then waved to Sunset, “Hey...”
“Thanks, that’s nice. I feel curious after Shimmy though… Doctor, you think I can meet her when we land?” Sunset asked hopefully.
“Indeed you can.” the Doctor said with a smile.
The TARDIS landed on Canterlot High, the gardens were in perfect condition. There was no sign that the kaiju was there.
“Uh, Doctor? Did we come before the kaiju or something?" Sunset asked with a bit of confusion.
“No! That happened yesterday, but on another timeline! When we came and saved Sunset Shimmer we caught the Kaiju, he’s on dimensional prison with criminals and…” the Doctor said.
Her jaw dropping open slightly in awe, Sunset Shimmer muttered, "Wow..."
Behind her, Flash Sentry went over to his club, Sunset Shimmer following him into the hallway. She found the student everyone nicknamed "Mouse", (Actually he preferred to be called 'MicroChip', but yep dude, not on my guard) Approached him.
"Hey, Sunset. What's up?" he said with a small wave.
"Hey." Replied her
Sunset Shimmer rushed over to the Doctor. She tucked a few strands of hair behind a near before commenting, "It's strange. Y'know, having memories of nonexisting timelines and everything. Almost apologized him."
"He never knew what you did, Sunset. It's OK," the Doctor said as he lay a comforting hand on Sunset's shoulder.
"Yeah, I know. But I still feel terrible for, well..." Sunset ended awkwardly. She looked the Doctor in the eyes and sighed sadly.
“Accusing him without enough evidence?” the Doctor ended.
"Becoming a demon?" Added Flash coming out of the lift with many bags.
“Yep, basically.” Sunset Shimmer agreed.
“It didn't happen. The timeline when it happened doesn't even exist. Forget it and stop feeling bad, it's gone." the Doctor said as he attempted to comfort the sad Sunset Shimmer.
Shimmer commented to her boyfriend "You has gun, gotta travel?"
"Hardly." Flash Sentry answered, rolling his eyes. "It's just some stuff I don't want to leave here."
"Excuse me, are you Sunset Shimmer? Well, from Equestria, that is?" someone asked behind her.
Sunset did a 180 turn, and saw herself. The only difference was that the new Sunset had glasses and had the Dimensional Device that Twolight used. "Such a sight for sore eyes..."
The two quickly engaged in a conversation, first talking about their differences, then about boys.
"Now I'm with Flash, having fun." Sunset said with a smile at her twin with glasses under the moniker of "Shimmy". Then, pointing at the Portal Detector her twin held, she asked,"When did you become such a smart cookie?"
"This? It's from Riv- er, I mean Twolight. She came to tutor me from time to time. Did you forget? Oh, perhaps it just didn't happen on your timeline yet." Shimmy answered with a smile.
"Ya, I guess so." Sunset Shimmer agreed.
"Pretty smart though, getting with Flash," Shimmy said with a giggle. "He can be really sweet sometimes!"
The two Sunset Shimmers embraced themselves in a hug, ignoring the Doctors' shouts not to.
"Stop! Don't! Wait, why is nothing happening?" the Doctor said, clearly confused.
After breaking up the hug, Shimmy smiled and said, "Look, Twilight had a theory that a paradox could happen. So she made this ointment that separates us." she then showed Sunset a glass jar labelled 'C2H4N7'. "We actually never made contact because of it."
"Thanks, paradoxes are very real and can get very ugly, unless they solve by themselves, which is boring" the Doctor said with a yuck face "But Sunset, you aren't from this dimension. So anything that would happen would be my fault."
"It's nothing." Sunset said casually.
"As for my ointment, I made that up to put you at ease. It's actually just Aloe Vera, smooth skin is pretty skin. But you owed me a hug from seven years ago." Shimmy said with a smile.
"Did I already say how smart you are?" Sunset said with a chuckle.
The Doctor began walking towards his Machine, while he began explaining, “Delta twenty-seven, Sol three, time 4.600.240.452.010. That's where we're going."
Sunset Shimmer was awestruck and Shimmy came to her rescue, saying, "I think he means Dimension 27 and the third satellite of a world called Sol and the time is about ours."
“Sol is actually their star’s name, there known as Sun. Three means it’s the third world orbiting Sol. And she's right about the time.” the Doctor corrected.
Sunset then had to ask, “And what happens? anthro-pig life forms terrorizing locals? Robots that can kill with just a touch? Clockwork automata? Aliens with acidic blood?”
"Not the first three. And about the forth, yuck!" the Doctor said as he made a vomiting gesture. "It's more common than that. Just a little intergalactic war."
Ooh, good! Can I come too?" Shimmy asked with a grin on her face.
Light cruiser, conqueror class, name: Erebus. Crew: 12,000 soldiers. Weaponry: Phased plasma rifles and teuron bombs capable of erasing a solar system.
High above the crew lay the command bridge. There sat the invader army's commander, Cinos te Oiram.
"Commander Cinos, we left the Interdimensional portal." the ship's pilot informed him.
Upon hearing that, Cinos took out a photo showing various figures. There was a pink female figure and two smaller infants. Cinos looked at them and said, "Soon. For the Teuran Empire!!" at that same moment, the Eresbus was inhaled by a small dog, that before sneezing, had run away from the alley where the TARDIS just materialized.
The TARDIS door opened and the Doctor said, "Listen. They may be small, but they can blow up this whole planet unless the world's leaders comply with whatever they feel like."
“Small whims.” Flash Sentry mused. Flash was holding a device made of a metal rod with black holes on its sides and asked, "Hey, Doc? What does this thing do?"
Behind Flash, Shimmy came out. Her hair was now nicely curled. She grabbed the device before saying, "That's my pocket hair curler, sweetie."
With a touch of over protectiveness, Sunset Shimmer, coming out behind Shimmy asked, "Sweetie?"
"Sorry, force of habit..." Shimmy said sheepishly as she put the hair curler away.
“Good. But any-ways, I'm digging your hairdo." Sunset said, relieved. "But why if I can ask?”
Shimmy then said with a shrug,“It would spoil our cover, two exact copies walking around. No way, that can't happen. Oh, also we must find another name for me. Something like Melody or...”
"Deal." everyone quickly agreed.
“So that was a hair curler? Weird." Flash said as he scratched his head.
“It’s a Sonic Curler, inspired by my memories from the Doctor." Shimmy said with a smile."It can do a lot beyond curl.”
The Doctor, overhearing that commented, “I'm not entirely happy with that.”
Shimmy just replied, “Not un-inventing it.”
“Simply, don’t misuse it.” the Doctor warned.
“Okay, Daddy.” Shimmy said. Then the curler began beeping on PAR of the Sonic Screwdriver.
“Guys, remember why we’re here. Our, or at least my Sonic detected Teuron technology.” Shimmy, or now Melody said to get everyone back on track.
"They were here and planted the bomb? Where?" Flash Sentry said nervously, looking around. "This can't be good."
“The Teuron had been on this alley. We need to find it. Then I’ll get rid of the bomb.” the Doctor said with confidence in his voice.
But suddenly Melody took charge of the situation. She operated her curler, walking down the cul de sac, the curler beeping steadily. “They aren’t here any more. A local life form ate them. I also don’t detect any bombs.”
“Care to pass that by me again?” the Doctor asked.
“If there was a bomb, now it isn’t. It’s not here." Shimmy said with a bit of confusion.
“But how can a bomb simply disappear?” the Doctor asked, now with a blatantly obvious hidden agenda.
“Me! Me!” Twolight said, reminding everyone she was there. She did little jumps, clearly giddy. “I- It disappeared on the sub-space thanks to an Einstein-Rosen bridge!”
“Do you mean a wormhole?” asked Flash Sentry. Upon getting confused looks, he said,“Hey! I sleep with Sunset, I know some things!”
“He’s correct.” Twolight said with a nod of the head. Sunset at the time was fuming at Flash.
“But why would the Teurons do that?” Asked Twolight, Sunset nodding now at her in the background.
“The Teurons in the far past were the good guys. Perhaps they were just rogues that didn’t plan on blowing up this planet.” the Doctor theorized.
“Or they had bigger fish to fry…” Melody added.
“Such a random comment you said Riv... Er, Melody. Do you care to introduce us?” the Doctor said, correcting his faux pas.
“Watch your mouth, sweetie. Any ways, I'll tell you later.” Melody said to the uneasy Doctor.
The Doctor felt now a new spring in his step for an unexplainable reason. He grilled Melody, . “Sooo, do you found something else?”
Melody got increasingly daring on her interaction with the so-called Doctor, approaching somewhat fierce to him. “According to my Sonic, neither. They disappeared with their kaboom load.”
Sunset then had to ask her twin, “Any ways, when you did your Atomic Curler?”
Melody replied. “In a boring weekend two summers ago. Also, isn’t atomic, is electro-chemically powered.”
"So you just made this whole device just like the Doctor's in a weekend?! Even when you've just seen the device for mere minutes?" Sunset asked with surprise, knowing the answer.
"Smart, huh?" Melody said with a smirk.
The Doctor then tried another approach, he simply said, "Not smart, River..."
Melody/River had a revelation, “Doctor! Or rather, delta cubed sigma x square, oh you know it’s such a mouthful. Oh my, did I just say all of that?"
The Doctor, or rather D^3 for short, hugged Shimmy weeping slightly, “River! I saw you dying!”
"I died, my body got destroyed. I had no regenerations left since Germany, but found this spiritless body and crashed here. It's cosy. But eventually, Shimmy's spirit seemed to return. Now we share, we got a nice condo together." Melody/River said as she hugged the Doctor.
Sunset Shimmer then interrupted, "One moment, so now you are two people in the same body? By the way, River beats the name Shimmy. So that’s a good thing.”
River answered, “No no no, Shimmy is still here too.”
Switching the voice over to Shimmy, she said, “Hi, Sunset! We share memories, such a good time. Oh River, you have to tell me what’s the deal with leather jeans. They seem rather… Unhygienic.”

The group got into the TARDIS, then the Doctor's 'timey wimey' device suddenly beeped.
"Alright guys, I got to go to Control Room Beta to check a message that's only shown on the console." the Doctor said as he headed off to check the message.
"OK, meanwhile, I'll show the place to Shimmy. Well, Melody now, I guess." Sunset said as she turned to Melody.
"Thanks, I know my way though. Where do you want to go?" Melody replied.
"Wow, Mrs 'Music', you're a box of surprises," Flash said with a smirk.
"It's Melody, dear..." Melody replied with a bit of annoyance. "Seriously Sunset what did you seen on this moron?"
Sunset Shimmer decided to intervene before Flash and Melody got into an argument. She said, "Melody, first, he makes me laugh also, I wanted to show Equestria to Flash . Can we go now?"
Melody operated some levers before placing Sunset's hands into a jar full of goo with wires sticking out of it. She then explained, "It's the TARDIS telepathic controls. Concentrate on Equestria."
Sunset began recalling her fillyhood in Canterlot, the first time she managed to levitate something without turning it into a plant or goop. The time her conscience took a dark turn, how she tried to seize Canterlot at first, then all of Equestria. She tried to remember happier thoughts, thinking about her former friends in Canterlot, Minuette, Lyra and Moondancer.
The TARDIS then started to make it's whooshing sound. After it passed through the six dimensions in the EQG universe, it drifted down to the multiverse silver lining, fading out of existence, leaving the dimensions. Then, it teleported to Equestria, at the same moment the Doctor came back to the main control room.
"What's this ruckus?" the Doctor asked. "River, you flew it again?! You still remember how to?"
"Well, you did teach me. Remember?" Melody replied casually. "Oh, also, my mom wanted to name me Melody."
Sunset then removed her hands from the goo jar and waved at the Doctor, "Hi, Doc! I was the navigator."
"I see... Inside job, I guess. So where are we?" the Doctor asked a bit worriedly.
Melody cleared her throat and answered, "Dimension C137, system Omega Centauri, planet Equus, Equestria, city..." Melody then paused and checked the name on the telepathic terminal's console. "Canterlot!"
"I see. Wait a minute, where is it? The thing, you know, the box with lights, that beeps." the Doctor asked as his eyes gazed around the room, searching for the box.
"Everything here is like that, Doc." Sunset said as she waved her hand around, pointing to all of the similar equipment.
Melody checked under the TARDIS console and whipped out something similar to the Doctor's description. "Here it is!"
"You won this round, Melody." the Doctor said as he took the gadget from Melody.
Melody replied with a throaty, "You won me a long time ago."
"Hey, sass later. Now Doc, explain that thing to us." Sunset said as she separated her copy and the Doctor.
"Hm, yes look at this screen," the Doctor pointed to a screen that just bleeped to life. It showed the TARDIS's surroundings, old fashioned buildings, and a lot of multicoloured Pony forms.
"As you can see, they don't look like us. This device is a portable DNA converter." the Doctor explained as he pointed to the gadget in his hand. "It modifies your body to fit the others around you, but it also gives you the looks that you had since you wrote born here. So we would basically become ponies, like everyone else here. Clothes?"
"Optional." Sunset replied. The Doctor said "Rats!" while he closed the wardrobe and activated his device, and everyone faded out before ponies took their places. Sunset mused, "So here we go again."
Flash then looked at Sunset and gasped, "Wow, you're a unicorn!"
Sunset then replied with a knowing look, "Obviously. And you're a Pegasus!"
Then, Sunset looked at the Doctor and said, "And you look like... Time Turner? The weird science pony from Ponyville?"
The doctor was puzzled for a second before replying, "We have alternates here, so my pony form would look like my alternate. Yes, it happens. Sunset, since you came from here, you can rest. Unlike you, Flash. Now there are two of you..."
Sunset comforted Flash, who began to panic. "It's fine. This can be fixed with make up and accessories."
"I-if you say so..." Flash stuttered nervously.
A few minutes later, Sunset was busy with a comb, brushing Flash's mane. When she was done, Flash's scalp line was dead centre on his head, and he also wore a pair of round glasses, which had false lenses.
"How do I look?" Flash asked as Sunset adjusted his glasses so they lay right in the brim of his snout.
Everyone tried to hide a laugh while Melody bluntly admitted, "Sorry to say this, Flash, but you look like a nerd." Melody set off the laughter of the whole group, and eventually Flash laughed too.
"Well, gang. I don't want to leave all the fun, but I want to see how Canterlot is doing." Sunset said as she and the Doctor pranced to the TARDIS door. The Doctor tried to open the door with his hooves, but to no avail. The Doctor gave Sunset a pleading look. Sunset understood and concentrated, her horn surrounded by a golden aura. She then materialized an arm that opened the door. Sunset then said, "There you go, Doc."
"Thanks, Sunset. That was pretty... Handy!" the Doctor said as he laughed at his own joke.
The group then pranced in an alley, as the street next to them was busy with a market. Turning to the the rest of the group, she informed, "It's Tuesday, the same day it was where we started, in the human world!"
"That's because both of these universes are in sync." the Doctor said as he tried to adjust to walking on four hooves.
"Hey, anyone mind me lagging for a bit? I want to find out some things about this place's culture." Flash asked as he slowed down.
"Suit yourself, Flash. But remember, here it's anypony." Sunset replied as Flash started to walk to some stalls.
Flash was walking between all the stalls, stopping every so often to look at the items before walking to another one. He looked almost like a natural pony, besides for the fact that he tripped every now and then, due to his lack of hoof usage. He then stopped at a stall and asked, "Hey, you! How many for that shirt?"
A ruckus began forming there. A gruff looking pony with a set of concrete shoes for a cutie mark was now arguing with Flash, who cowered behind the stall table. He then nervously said, "I only asked you how much!"
"And I told you that it's four bits, then you hoofed me these worthless scraps of paper!" the stall's owner raged.
Flash then spat out, "That's ten dollars, that's more than enough for a shirt!"
"Your toy money isn't worth anything here. Oh, there's the police when you need them!" the stall owner smirked before calling to the police. "Hey, Agent! Come here, I caught a burglar for you."
The Agent, a juvenile mare pranced to them and said, "Agents Babs Cooper from the CCD. Sir, I understand you have to explain yourself. What's going on?"
“He refused my money! He said it was worthless!” Flash then hoofed over the dollars to Babs.
Sunset, who was about to check on Flash intervened, "Babs Cooper? As in Barbara Cooper?"
"Uh, yes? Do I know you?" Babs asked with a bit of confusion as she examined Sunset.
"I think I might... Or maybe not." Sunset answered strategically.
"Good save." the Doctor whispered to Sunset.
Sunset flicked her ear before producing four golden coins and hoofing them over to Flash. "Here, for your four bit shirt of 'blame my sister'?"
"I like it dear." replied Flash.
"Hey, what's your name? I have this crazy idea of knowing you." Babs asked curiously.
Sunset replied, “I’m Sunset Shimmer, I was formerly Princess Celestia's protégé."
"It doesn't ring a bell. I'll remember your name, but I feel like I know you from somewhere else." Babs mused.
"It happens to the best of us." Said Sunset."Well, see you later, Agent Babs!" Sunset said as she waved a hoof in farewell
"You can call me Barbara." Babs, or rather Barbara said with a smile.
"Will do, Barbara." Sunset said as she turned to her boyfriend. "Do you think she's the Barbara Cooper from Canterlot high? Besides, do you know what 'blame my sister' means?"
"Uh, that someone's sister deserves to be blamed?" Flash guessed as he scratched his head in confusion.
"Probably. But Twilight once told me about this thing Luna once had with shirts," Sunset explained.
Not gone yet Barbara's ear flicked commented, "Twilight? as in Princess Twilight Sparkle! I know she's Celestia's pupil."
"Uh, yes. She sorta is..." Sunset commented. Barbara's eyes were then focused like two lasers on Sunset's eyes. "Sorta? Didn't you tell me that you were Celestia's pupil too?"
Tired by now, Sunset said to nopony in particular, "Please, not this again..." Lighting her horn, Sunset lowered it just above Barbara's mane. A spark connected from Sunset's horn to Barbara's scalp as Sunset said, "There you go."
Barbara fell on the floor drowsily. Her mind was in a whole different timeline that was just thrown at her. She called out, "S... S... Sunset Shimmer! We saw you last week! There was Lt. Brass too, but... He can't be..."
"Wait until it dawns on her," Sunset said to everypony.
"Wait, when did I have these weird dragon claws? And this strange metal cart propelled by... Magic?" Barbara wondered out loud.
Sunset answered, "Babs, you've forgot the essential. Do you know how we became friends? Remember the Kaiju attack?"
Y-yes, of course I do! You were amazing there, how you kicked his butt! Clearly you weren't from this world. You were like a superhero, uh supermare... Or..."
"Jeez, cut it out, Babs. I'm just me." Sunset said as her cheeks flushed red.
"Superhero shame." Somepony in the crowd gathered around the group grumbled.
The gang plus Barbara seen that they began to gather unwanted attention. Sunset quickly wrapped her magic around the group and teleported them to a safer location.

A sudden pressure change indicated the group's arrival. Babs immediately went to vomit behind a potted plant. Her pony self didn't allow her to do that, but her human memories fooled her. "Hey, S-Sunset? Do you ever get used to having a second set of memories?"
"Not really. I should have four or five sets from different timelines by now," Sunset answered after a moment of thinking.
The noise grabbed the attention of a squad of Princess Luna's Night Guards. They left their pastries when they saw Flash in his new 'Blame my Sister' shirt. "Hey, you! You must be Smarty Flanks, Princess Luna's mate. She's now at the little fillies' room."
Flash just stared in surprise and said what anyone would've in that situation, "Huh?"
Majestically, Luna made her entrance. She approached Flash and laughed at his shirt, "I like stallions with a sense of humour!"
Flash, now in complete awe, tried to wrap his head around the fact that a vice principal like Luna was now a princess. He then grabbed a doughnut and began to chew on it.
Luna, in mock horror said, "You ate the last gooseberry doughnut! Gooseberry doughnuts are my favourites!" with that, Luna quickly jumped onto Flash, French kissing him to capture every last bit of the doughnut.
Sunset had to use every last bit of her composure to not attack the princess while she was busy kissing Flash.
Then, Celestia and Babs came out of the little fillies room, where they had done their business.
"So unicorns have to teleport with great care, previously alarming everyone. You understand me, Officer?" Celestia asked Babs.
"Y-yes, Princess..." Babs replied.
Hearing that, Luna spun her head towards her sister and called out, "Hey, Tia! We're here!"
Sunset realized the results of her sketchy past and sat low, pretending to be unsuspicious. She then mumbled to herself, "Fat chance, my pretty."
"So where's your champion, Luna?" Celestia asked.
"Uh, it was here, sister," Luna replied.
"I got this..." Celestia started. Seeing Sunset deep in her chair, she said, "Sunset Shimmer! Officer Barbara told me about you while we were in the lavatory, how you single hoofedly vanquished a Kaiju and undid his last evil doings! Sunset Shimmer of Equestria, I hereby decree that your banishment is lifted!"
Meekly, Sunset Shimmer crawled out from her hideout, eyes glued to the floor, her ears low.
“Sunset why you don’t use your Equestrian form? What is this pantomime?” Celestia asked with a caring smile.
“I am a unicorn, I was a unicorn, and it is how it should be," Sunset replied, her eyes not once moving from the floor.
“In the lavatory Officer Barbara asked me to rid her mind of her new memories. I know how your fight went, and I also took some of your memories that you accidentally put on her. I know that last time you were in Equestria, you weren't a unicorn." Celestia lifted an eyebrow while lifting Sunset's head to look into her eyes.
"I don't know... Look, Celestia. We didn't come here through the mirror, we used-" Sunset started explaining before being cut off by Celestia.
“A TARDIS? Yes I already know, Sunset," came Celetia's reply.
"It's harder, the Doctor supplied our human aspect with some doo-hickey that basically adjusted our shape," Sunset explained.
"It's not that much harder. This device works over..." the Doctor said as he stood up to point at something that said 'Timelord Technology'. "So, this Timelord Technology is by no means more powerful than magic. So, once suppressed this technology field, your true Equestrian forms would be here if you were born here."
Sunset then signalled to the Doctor with her eyebrows in the universal signal to 'come on!'. The Doctor saw this and got his device from his saddle bag, and as an earth pony, he had to mouth grab his sonic and use it as a stick to turn the device off.
Then, all four of them began to glow, their bones creaking in their magical transformation. Then, four became five stunned ponies!
Sunset then delivered her trademark, "Now this is unexpected..."
All of them stared at the two ponies that used to be Shimmy but now, Shimmy and Melody.
Melody appeared as a middle aged unicorn, her mane curled wildly. Her first words in this form were, "Doc, or rather, hubbie. "River Song, archaeologist extraordinaire is back!"
The other big difference was Sunset Shimmer. The Impossible Mare she definitely was. She stood as tall as Luna, who now looked amazed at Sunset's wings.
Celestia teased Sunset, “It looks like Sunset Shimmer, princess of necessary evil is back too… Nah, you can’t go around with that title. I can sense the lack of an evil bone in you."
"Well, if you ask like that for me to have a title, I learnt something in Canterlot High 's history class about a god Egyptians had. It was something alike Seth, god sovereign of the two kingdoms, crops, and necessary violence." Sunset said with a smirk.
Celestia blinked quickly in surprise at that. “Well I suppose it can be Sunset Shimmer, princess of necessary violence…”
"And Princess? Why did your sister kiss my special somepony?..." Sunset asked.
"I diamond-dog dared her to while we were in the lavatory, to kiss the first stallion in sight. Between us, she's quite stuck up since her return. It's quite cunning, isn't it?" Celestia answered, a small Evil? smile on her face.
Sunset now blinked, trying to completely understand the ordeal, while Melody was cackling madly, "Ohhh! That's rich! You princesses are both like a truck full of clowns!"
"What's a truck? And a clown?" Luna asked, confused.
"A caboose full of jesters?" Shimmy corrected.
Then, the Doctor began to feel light headed. Melody was now at his side, eyes full of sincere remorse. He said, "It must've been something I ate, don't worry, I'm fine now."
"Sorry, Doctor... I just had to be sure..." River murmured nervously.
The Doctor then got on his knees over to cobble street. He closed his eyes tightly, and when he reopened them in par to his mouth, a bright yellow light was released, accompanied with a throaty scream.
The group plus the princesses took a step back. Celestia asked angrily, "Melody, what did you do?!"
Melody was on the verge of tears. "I kissed him... I needed to be sure! HE SAVED MY DARN LIFE, AND I NEEDED MORE EVIDENCE TO BELIEVE HE WAS HE!!!"
Celestia took a step back at Melody's outburst. "You hurt him by kissing him?"
Melody replied throatily, "Yes, my lipstick, is venomous!"
Meanwhile, the light radiating off of the Doctor faded away. Now instead of the young Doctor, he looked elderly. His mane was silvery grey, but he was definitely very alive. He looked at himself in a puddle's reflection. "I need a mirror, two ears, good, and two eyebrows. I don't like these brows! They without a doubt are attack brows!"
Twolight, having no magic, asked someone else to clean her glasses. "What's this? Permutation? Transmogrification?"
"Plain old regeneration," River answered before launching herself at the Doctor, who stepped back.
"No more kisses of the dead, Black Widow!" the Doctor chuckled. At River's sad look, he smiled and said, "How about a hug for starters?"
Sunset Shimmer the Doctor's Companion.

"Doctor, are you alright?" Sunset Shimmer gawked, astounded at the Doctor's sudden comment.
"He's fine, he just regenerated," River explained. "that's the timelord's way to dodge death."
The Doctor snaked his lips and requested, "I'm hungry... Give me apples, I love them," before falling unconscious.
"Where can we find apples around here?" River asked the group.
Sunset, taking advantage of her former knowledge of the Equus's streets answered River with another question. "The TARDIS can move in the same universe like an aircraft, right?" At River's nod, Sunset told her to move one hundred and fifty kilometres south before explaining, "You can find lots of apples for the Doctor in the orchard over there."
Sunset and the rest minus the Doctor and River left the TARDIS. Then River and the Doctor took off with three whooshes as the TARDIS flew south.
On the TARDIS, River followed Sunset's instructions, so in no time both were there.
Right then a sound like a cloister bell was heard. "ohSHIIIT!!!!"
The TARDIS crashed through Sweet Apple Acres threshold, cracking the wooden structure, splinters flew everywhere. The TARDIS barely managed to land.
River left the TARDIS and walked into the orchard. She saw a pony with a Stetson hat, and without a word, she just took a bushel of apples. She dragged it with her teeth into the TARDIS. The farm pony's reaction was quick.
"Wretched vermin! Stealing from me right under mah' snout!" Applejack called out for Big Macintosh, her stoic brother. But before he could arrive, River closed the TARDIS door, a door not even the Genghis Kahn's troops could trespass.
Once inside the TARDIS, River rubbed a nice looking apple under the Doctor's snout. The Doctor opened his eyes, and after a whiff of the apple, he bit it. He chewed it for a moment before spitting it back out. "What's the idea, River? Trying to kill me again? God, it's horrible!"
"Doctor, are you with the living now?"
The Doctor, holding the apple said, “Uh? Yes, I'm fine as rain. Also, where's Sunset?”
"Still in Canterlot," River answered.
“Do you think he'll be alright?" Sunset asked Celestia worriedly.
“He'll be alright, Sunset," Celestia answered with no doubt.
The Doctor was feeling alright at the moment and opened the TARDIS door. He was suddenly confronted by a pony wearing a cowpony hat.
“Hi, Ah ahm the landlord. Ah came to evict ya'll...” the farm pony explained with a no-nonsense look on her face.
The Doctor happily smiled at her. “Hi, I'm the timelord!”
The mare in the hat said, “This is mah brother, Big Macintosh and Ah'm sure he'd love to talk to the likes of ya.”
Big Macintosh introduced himself with a dry “Eeyup", but the Doctor was oblivious at the danger at hoof.
“Fancy a jelly baby, big guy?”
Back in Canterlot, Sunset was chatting with Celestia, oblivious at what was happening one hundred and fifty kilometers south. “And this is Twolight, the soul sister of Twilight.”
Celestia then asked Twolight. “What do you think of our fair Equestria so far?”
“Actually, it's very exciting, how everything is so alike, yet so different...”
An explosion was heard coming from Sweet Apple Acres. A few seconds later, the TARDIS quickly flew into a Canterlot, some apple tree debris hanging onto it.
The machine landed on the same general spot where it took off previously. When the door opened, a conversation could be heard, crude words included.
"Who'd know that jelly babies are made from hooves? And how do ponies know that?"
"I don't think they wanted to destroy you for that, dearie. Not exactly..."
“Any ways, that Applesnack is the worst!”
River, commented. “Come on, she's not that bad...”
The Doctor quipped back, "Yes, she's all comfort and joy. The problem is her brother. He kicked my TARDIS!" the Doctor went over and patted his damaged vehicle.
"Ya, that pony's a horrible bully! We don't want to be around him any-more."
Amazed at the poor show Applejack made, Celestia offered the group to be guests to her palace. "I'll even send some guards to keep an eye on the Doctor's machine. I can even send some of my craftsponies to repair the woodwork damage."
The Doctor accepted the princess's offer. "Thank you, my princess," he said as he reached down and kissed Celestia's hoof, causing the sun princess to blush.
An hour later, the group was in the castle. Some guards arrived to pick the TARDIS. Tremorhoof, one of the guards, was busy supervising the other guards as they loaded the TARDIS onto the wagon. Then, the TARDIS door opened, a tiny silver robot with crimson eyes left the TARDIS.
Seeing this, Tremorhoof told his companion, who was pulling a heavy cart, "Did you see that, Jeff?"
"Yes. For being a doctor, he doesn't care much for a clean and rat less environment."
Meanwhile, the 'rat', or rather, cyber-rat, got into a sewer. It followed it's program to search for and collect resources to fulfil it's mission. It had enough technology for a basic lab, one bigger on the inside thanks to timelord technology, and it had a sinister agenda.
Restoration of the cybermen.
In a dark, damp crook in Canterlot’s sewer network, a newly built technological nightmare stood. A cacophony of metal on metal grinding permeating the place as a creature, not of flesh and blood, but of metal and circuitry, stood at a console.

Meanwhile in Ponyville:
A Grey Filly was enjoying the Summer morning. It was, oddly enough, warm for a day of Selenic. Being “Selenic” two whole months before Summer Sun Celebration, she was busy chasing butterflies, a shameful secret of hers, when she heard a rustling noise coming from the stream besides the Ponyville public park. She, being cautious, pranced careful towards the weird noise, it was a noise like the one a small rodent would make, but odd mechanical noises followed behind it.
When she reached the bushes and took a look the many birds in the trees took flight at the sound of the filly's blood curdling scream.
Back in Canterlot.
Sunset was busy explaining to Twolight how to use the equus sanitation devices, after explaining for nth time how to use the three seashells, she decided she had enough.
“Alright! Be a cavemare! Melody, care to explain it to her?”
“You know we can put a biggie on her. Just a suggestion...”
Twolight, genuinely offended, suggested River/Melody to just lick her tush clean. Thankfully, however, Shimmy defused the situation before any blood could be spilled. “Toilet humour is a staple of Equus-beta... Remember it Melody, I am telling you the truth.”
“All right, let’s say that I believe you.” Commented the still uneasy, curly maned mare.
Later, the crew plus the princesses were reunited for lunch on the palace main hall.
Celestia lead the table, while Luna sat at her left. Before them sat our crew, Sunset, Flash and the Doctor had the centre, Flash stood at Flash the guard.
“Incredible... You’re so me, but not... Tell me, if I kill you, I become you?” Flash Sentry (The guard) stood uneasy, he stared at Celestia, worried. Celestia opted to release him.
“You can leave...”
He left the hall galloping. Quickly, Celestia glanced at Sunset in disapproval.
“Well Princess, love can’t be planned...” Meanwhile Melody approached to the Doctor.
At this, Luna promptly awoke from the nap that she had apparently been in during the meeting. “Sister I FELT IT! WE ARE IN A...”
Celestia simply sipped on her tea calmly “Sister, indoor voice.”
“We are in grave peril, when I fell asleep, I contacted with a filly, she’s in distress...”
“How in distress? Share with me your dream.”
Luna’s eyes became white, her horn glowing in a blue light. Celestia followed suit, leaving the rest of the ponies looking at them in unease. That unease soon became horror at the sound of Celestia screaming and falling to the floor.
“I-It’s horrible!” Celestia was sobbing now “How it can be? She’s feeling a terrible pain! She's from Ponyville... just a filly... ”
Sunset grinned at her former mentor. “All right, so, she’s in Ponyville.”
“No... NO. She was in Ponyville, I see that she was dragged over waste, she’s near, so near, she can’t see, she has sand on her eyes...” Celestia was out before she could finish. Sunset felt her for pulse.
“She’s just too empathic, got overstressed. She'll be fine...” Sunset then stared to Luna “so Princess, are you going to share any usable info before knocking yourself out?”
“Likely, it was a dark place, with water and waste, but there was no currents there.”
Sunset was pondering on that “A pond of some sort... It was dark, so it was on a forest, or...”
“It was a place made with masonry, if that helps.” Added Luna.
Twolight added her two cents “Water, masonry, waste... Tell me princess, are there are sewers around here?” Luna dawned in realization... “Of course! The Sewage System! In fact I designed it a thousand years ago!”
“Then tell us about the current-less parts...”
“A sewer can’t have any part like that, but back then were many cave ins. We lost many artisans, mainly on the lower sector, but that sector is twenty square miles of area...”
“We can do it...” Sunset Shimmer decided, “...we have to.”
Later, in the entrance to the Sewer System.
Sunset was rallying her ‘troops’ “You guys learnt and understood the basic light spell? It's dark down there...”
Twolight, Melody, and Shimmy gave their confirmations in one voice. The Doctor gave his response by turning his Sonic Screwdriver on.
As this happened, Flash look over them before turning to Sunset, “I am no Unicorn...”
Sunset gave him a look, “You can’t do anything now, you go to our rooms and wait for us.”
“I don't feel like that is a good idea, what if you don't come back?”
Sunset smiled at that and gave him a kiss. Before the pegasus could say anything, however, Sunset gave him a little jab with her horn and cast a sleep spell on him. She caught him before he hit the ground and passed him to Celestia with her magic, “Take good care of him.”
The Sun monarch replied at her “And you take care of yourselves, please come back safely.”
Sunset looked at the sewer entrance, charging her horn with both a heavy blast and a light spell, a ‘mixed salad’ like she liked to refer to it. “This is it! Just like on the essays!”
Sunset, Twolight, Shimmy, Melody and the Doctor, five little ponies that ripped a few new ones on the universe, ran shouting to the bowels of the unknown, all of them screaming a war cry at the top of their lungs.
Twolight, who memorized the sewer plans, called to the rest were to go when confronted with multiple turns, “Left then the next is the middle one!”
It wasn't long before Sunset spoke up, “Stop! You guys hear that?” There was a mechanical hum,
“Machines.” Commented the Doctor “but it can’t be, they disappeared long ago...”
“Who disappeared, Doctor?”
“Uh? Who said that? It was you Shimmy?”
“Nope, not me...”
“Aren’t you a cute widdle group of blankflanks? And you who do you think you are with those wings and that Sun Cutie Mark? Celestia 2.0?”
They all turned to see a creature moving towards them. It was made of metal, barely equinoid in shape, but it lacked tail and mane and had a thick metal tube connecting both it’s earlobes, the metal tube at the centre had a spotlight that shone a bright yellow light.
Both Sunset and Twolight felt their jaws drop. Twolight whirled around to face the Doctor, “What IS that thing?”
Melody replied “I think it’s a Cyberman? CyberHorse?... hun?”
The Doctor was busy preparing his Scredriver, attuning it to the CyberHorse frequency. With a grunt of approval, he raised the tool to the mechanical pony and clicked a button. The effect on the robot took Sunset by surprise, as it simply froze. She was about to comment when the face plate of it moved and revealed a grey, scared, earth pony filly.
“Please help me! Oh please please please! By Celestia you can’t leave me here!” She tried bringing her forehooves together in a desperate attempt to plead, but because her body was frozen, she looked down on them and began to realize how far she had changed “Oh my... Celestia help me!”
Sunset, now, near of her breaking point, turned yet again to the Doctor, “Please, tell me you can do something...”
“Oh yes, I can give her peace of spirit... Please, stay put, it will just take a moment and everything should be fine...” Upon hearing that, the filly began bawling for her mother.
Sunset, pissed at the Doctor, shouted at him “So, that’s your general idea? Kill her? Yes, she’s smelly, ugly and has a grating voice but you can’t do that!”
That quickly got the grey filly to go quiet and with a deadpan look, she moved her eyes to the fiery red maned mare, “Uh, Thanks,”
“Alright Sunset, what if we don’t do that? Back on the TARDIS I have a thing that can help us, perhaps...”
Sunset decided to let the Doctor's actions slide. For now. “How do you think we should proceed in a way that doesn't take us out of the sewers?”
“Easy, this place is chock-full of Timelord and Cybermen technology, add this to my utter awesomeness and we can have ‘Stinky’ prancing and bullying in no time! By the way I find the name ‘Cybermen’ kinda grating... Cybermare? Yes, that can work.”
“Doctor, I’ll have to introduce you to Pinkie Pie sometime...” Sunset commented, trying to get her head straight after the last mouthful by the Doctor.
“Pinkie? As in Pinkamena Diane Pie? Already met her two thousand years ago, we had a blast, but I still have no idea how she ended up inside the Time Rotor...”
Sunset smiled at that “Heh, same old Pinkie...”
The Doctor had already got into sorting parts for the conversion machine, when a proper Cyberman appeared, his two feet clanking over the masonry floor. it spoke with a raspy metallic undertone, “we can use more subjects for mandatory update.”
Shimmy gave the Doctor a look, “Update?”
“They turn you into that metallic thing, willing or not.”
“Hey! What do you think I am, chopped oatmeal?” shouted Silver Spoon inside her metallic husk, that was now once more under direct control of the Cybermare factory
