The Rise of The Shadowbolts

"So let's start where me and Spitfire first met." Frosted Heart began. "It was are first day at the Wonderbolt Academy Spitfire was right beside me. The captain back then his name was Light Speed. He told us to do 1000 laps. So me and Spitfire finished first...

"Hey" Said a pony.

"Oh hi." Said the other.

"What's your name?" Asked the first pony.

"Spitfire and what yours?" Asked Spitfire.

"Thawed Heart." Thawed Heart answered.

"Cool so are you-" Spitfire was cut off by the captain.

"Get over here newbies. This is the dizatron it's going to simulate a spinout. You have to recover and fly as straight as you can as fast as you can." Explained the captain.

So first was a Pegasus named Fire wing. Then it was Spitfire's turn.

"Are you ready Spitfire?" The captain asked.

"Yes Sur!" Spitfire said loudly

"Ok. GO!" That's when the dizatron started turning and then released Spitfire. Spitfire came in for a nice clean landing.

"7 seconds that's an academy record." The captain said with surprise.

"Now Thawed Heart your turn."

So Thawed Heart went up. Although as she went up she asked. "Sur can you put the dizatron at maximum speed I want to push my limits?"

"Are you sure?" The captain asked.

"Yes Sur!" Thawed Heart said with confidence.

"GO!" The captain said. As the dizatron kept spinning the operator put it up to it's full speed.

When Thawed Heart was released she came in for a clean landing as well.

Then the captain looked at his stopwatch and could not believe his eyes. "6.5 seconds. Well it looks like someone has potential."

After all the other pegasi were done the captain said. "You will be split in to pairs of two one being a lead pony and the other a wing pony I will post the list tomorrow. Good luck."

So they all went inside.

The next day Thawed Heart went to the caff. and looked at the list. "What I'm a wing pony."

Then Spitfire came up behind her and said. "He made up a team isn't that great."

"Ya." Thawed Heart said with a hint of sadness in her voice.

"Permission to enter sur." Thawed heart said."

"What is it Thawed Heart?" Asked the captain while doing his paperwork.

"I had the best time on the dizatron. I even went on the highest level."

"And?"

"And you made me a wing pony."

"I did that because I believe you and Spitfire will be an unstoppable team. Do you not think you'll be an unstoppable team?"

"We will be an unstoppable team sur."

"Then what's the problem?"

"I think that I should be lead pony sur."

That's when the captain stopped doing his paperwork he sat back and had to think about what he was about to say. "Thawed Heart," Thawed Heart looked straight at him. "I know that you have tons of potential."

Thawed Heart was about to say something but was silenced by the captain.

"Although you act very recklessly. I want you to be the best you can be. Although what I don't want is you to act so recklessly. So I put Spitfire as lead pony so that you maybe able to learn self-control. I want you to see and hear how she acts as a leader and I hope that you will take in what she does. Ok?" The captain finished.

"Ok." Thawed Heart said

Then Thawed Heart went to the tarmac. and saw Spitfire and went down to her.

Well for the rest of the academy days it was just drills until the final day when we learn which two become wonder bolts.

"The two who will become Wonder Bolts are Spitfire and Thawed Heart."

The two friends were so happy.

When everyone went away the captain went down to the pair. "To get into the Wonder Bolt reserves you must take the History of the Wonder Bolts test."

So then Spitfire and Thawed Heart went home together so they could study together. When the big day came they went in together and wrote the exam and passed.

So now going forward we come to the day that a new captain is chosen.

"So I would like to say that it is a great honor to have been your captain." All the Wonder Bolt cheered. "So now I will tell everyone who I have chosen to be the next captain. The next captain will be."

"Don't forget to cheer for me when I go up." Thawed Heart whispered Spitfire.

"I wont." Spitfire whispered back.

"Spitfire."

Thawed Heart was about to step forward but froze when she heard the name he called.

Spitfire went up she could not believe what had just happened she wasn't expecting to be the next captain. What an honor.

Thawed Heart just looked at her in anger and hatred.

Then Thawed heart just walked out.

Going forward to the end of the next performance

"Thawed Heart what do you think you were doing." Spitfire asked in anger

Thawed Heart just looked at Spitfire in anger and hatred.

"You injured 6 fan and 3 of your own teammates."

"Well you just have to have everything now don't you. You were lead pony. You've been chosen as captain. You even knew I wanted both of those positions but no you just have to have a the attention for yourself don't you." Thawed Heart said in anger

"Well if you wont give an answer then Thawed Heart I have no choice but then to kick you out of the Wonder Bolts." Spitfire said with authority

Thawed Heart was surprised by this but that feeling of surprise disappeared into pure anger and hatred. So she took off and said to herself.
