After Burst and Celestia's date...
"Good night Burst Stream.", Celestia said as she kissed Burst on the lips. Burst had never felt happier in his life and left for home with a big smile on his face. As Celestia went to sleep that night, Burst was on her mind as she dreamed. In her dream, Burst was resting his head on her lap. 'He looks so cute like this. ', Celestia thought with a smile as she kissed him on the forehead. This prompted the Burst in her dreams to wake up and smile at her.
"Hey there sunshine.", he said with a smile. Celestia smiled at hearing this. "How about I return the favor?" Burst said as he got up and leaned in to kiss her, but this one was more passionate than the one Celestia had given him. And before she knew it, Celestia was melting into the kiss and running her hands along his back as they made-out. "You really like it when I hold you close like this don't you?"
"Don't like feeling my body on yours?", Celestia asked with a grin.
"No. I love it. So do you want a look under my shirt?"
Celestia giggled at hearing this. "Might as well take a look. Just so I can know you more...personally. " Burst smirked as he took off his shirt to reveal how well-toned he was. Celestia smiled at the sight.
"So where were we?", Burst asked as he wrapped his arms around her.
"Right about here.", Celestia said as she pulled him into an embrace and resumed kissing him.
"You've got a voice like music Celestia.", Burst said as he pulled out of the kiss and they lie down together catching their breath. "But that's not nearly as beautiful as your heart." Celestia smiled and pulled him into a hug as she fell asleep in the dream to Burst's heartbeat.
Meanwhile in Burst's dream...
Burst was resting his head against Celestia's lap when Nightmare Moon took her place in his dream. But Burst couldn't feel her presence as she gazed at his form. Nightmare had observed his dreams of Celestia, and had found out his name. "You look so peaceful here. From this angle I'd never expect you to have so much power within you. You're like a sleeping dragon.", Nightmare said with a small smile. "It also appears I have you to thank for giving me a new life." Nightmare leaned in and kissed Burst on the forehead. "Sleep well Burst Stream. For when you awake, we will meet again." She then left and returned the dream to its original state. While in her own dreams, she saw eternal night, and a certain figure by her side.
"Gotta say. You outdid yourself with the sky this time Nightie.", Burst said as he looked at the sky. "Or should I say my queen?"
"You don't have to be so formal Burst.", Nightmare said with a smile. "So what do you like the most?"
"Probably the stars. They shine like the ones in your hair. In fact, I don't think any of your work can compare to how beautiful you are though."
"You flatter me. As for you, the moonlight always seems to shine off you amazingly. Especially against your snow white hair.", Nightmare said as she embraced Burst. "You shine brightest in the dark Burst Stream."
"Then I guess I'm going to have plenty of sweet dreams with you around. My beautiful Nightmare.", Burst said as she pulled him into a kiss. As she dreamed, Moon smiled. 'Soon. He'll be mine. '

Chapter 2: Chance Encounter
Burst smiled as he woke up. It was Saturday, and he had a really good dream about Celestia. And as luck would have it, he soon got a phone call from her. "Hey beautiful. Today? Yeah I'm free. I was thinking we could go to the movies. Six o'clock? Sounds perfect. I love you too. Bye!" 'Looks like I've got myself another date today. ' Burst changed his clothes, and ate breakfast. "I'll be hitting the duel park today mom. Also I'll be home a little bit late because I've got a date with Celestia.", Burst said as he got ready to leave.
"Have fun!", his mom called out as he left. While Burst was on his way, he accidentally bumped into a girl.
"Oh man. Sorry about that! You alright?" Burst helped the girl up, and couldn't help but take in her appearance. She had skin black as night, dark blue hair, and her eyes were a brilliant shade of blue-green. Nightmare couldn't believe she'd ran into Burst literally the next day! She knew they would meet again, but she hadn't expected it to be so soon.
"I'm fine. Nothing broken. I take it you're a duelist?", she asked noticing his duel disk.
"Sure am! Looking for the duel park? I'm headed that way myself so how about I take you there?"
'This is an excellent chance to see how strong he is! ' "Thank you! I'd like that."
"No problem! My name's Burst Stream by the way. What's yours?"
"Beat me in a duel and I'll tell you.", Nightmare said with a smirk.
"Challenge accepted." Burst led her to the duel park, and the two got ready to duel. "Ladies first."
Burst: 8000 Nightmare: 8000
"You're quite the charmer. I summon Darkness Knight in attack mode! Then I'll equip him with Lunar Saber to boost his attack by 300 points! Your move!"
"I draw! I reveal one Blue Eyes White Dragon in my hand to special summon Blue Eyes Alternative White Dragon! Next I play Dragon Shrine to send a normal dragon from my deck to the graveyard! And since it was a normal dragon I get to send another dragon to the graveyard! Now I'll play Return of the Dragon Lords to revive the Dragon Spirit of White in my graveyard! Now that he's been summoned, I can target and banish one spell or trap card you control! I choose your equip spell! Dragon Spirit will attack your monster, and Blue Eyes Alternative attacks you directly! White Lightning!" Nightmare shielded herself as she was hit with a blast of light from Blue Eyes Alternative! "I end my turn."
Burst: 8000 Nightmare: 4300
"Not a bad start! But the duel's not over until the last card is drawn! I can special summon this card when I have a dark monster on my field or in my graveyard! Rise! Night Queen Nyx!" Soon a humanoid monster wearing armor that looked like it was fused with a dress appeared on the field. "Now for her effect! Once she's on the field she gains 300 attack for each dark monster in my graveyard! Now I discard one card to activate Lightning Vortex! This destroys all monsters you control!"
"Not so fast! I banish Return of the Dragon Lords from my graveyard to protect my dragons!"
"Good. But not good enough! I attack your Dragon Spirit of White! Night Spear Slash!" Nyx charged forth and destroyed Dragon Spirit with one slash! "That's it for my turn."
Burst: 7200 Nightmare: 4300
"Time for me to strike back! I activate Alternative's effect! I can target and destroy one monster you control!" Alternative summoned a bolt of lightning and sent it flying at Nyx! But when the dust cleared, Nyx was still standing! "Whoa! Guess there's more to your monster than I thought."
"Thanks for noticing. Nyx can't be destroyed by card effects! The only way to best her is in battle!"
"Thanks for the advice. I'll switch Alternative into defense mode and end my turn."
"My move. I equip Nyx with Moon Lance! This boosts her by 800 points and lets her inflict piercing damage when she destroys a defense mode monster! Take down his Blue Eyes Alternative!" Burst winced as he took piercing damage! "That's all for my turn."
Burst: 5600 Nightmare: 4300
"Looks like I've got no choice. You've shown me your ace, so now I'll show you mine! I play Cards of Consonance to discard White Stone of Legend to draw two new cards! And by Stone's effect, I can add a Blue Eyes White Dragon from my deck to my hand! Then I'll play one of the cards I just drew! Harmony Absolute! I'll send the Blue Eyes in my hand to the graveyard to summon Blue Eyes Absolute Dragon from my deck! Now that he's on the field he gains 300 attack for each monster in my graveyard! There's five monster in my graveyard, so he gains 1500 attack points! Go! Absolute Neutron Blast!"
"Time to light up this duel!", Blue Eyes roared as he fired his signature attack! When the blast hit, Nyx was gone from the field!
"I end my turn."
Burst: 5600 Nightmare: 2800
"So this is your best monster? Impressive! But lets see how good he is against card effects! I play Dark Hole to wipe out the field!" Soon a black hole appeared and tried to suck Blue Eyes in, but it failed and collapsed! "Just how strong is that thing?"
"He's called Absolute for a reason. He's immune to card effects. And since you've got no monsters, you're wide open! Let's finish this Blue Eyes!"
"Absolute Neutron Blast!", the two of them cried out! And in a flash of rainbow colored light the duel was over.
"That was a good duel. You got in quite the hit on me.", Burst said with a smile.
Nightmare smiled back. "Thanks. That was my first loss. I guess I should tell you my name now. It's Nightshade."
"It was nice meeting you. Hope to see you again!", Burst said as he waved goodbye.
'Sooner than you think Burst Stream. ', Nightmare thought to herself with a smile. 'You're even stronger than I thought. No wonder the elements gave you some of their power. Considering how strong your connection is with them, you must be pretty good friends with them. And this is without considering the power from his bond with his dragons. Maybe I should attend his school. It could give me an edge in my plans. Maybe even let me get closer to Burst. '
Before Burst knew it, it was time for his date with Celestia. He met her outside the theater. "Hi Celestia! So which movie looks good?"
"The one that really catches my eye is the superhero movie they made based on the Elemental Hero cards."
"Sounds like fun! I'm a pretty big fan of the E-Hero comics Industrial Illusions made. I even predicted they'd get a movie when I was a kid." The couple got their snacks, grabbed their seats and waited for the movie to start. As the trailers were going, Burst noticed Celestia inching her hand over to him. "So is this the part where we make-out?", he whispered. Celestia just smiled and the two shared a kiss before the main feature started. Once the movie finished, Burst activated his dragon powers and flew Celestia home.
"Thanks for the ride."
"No problem. See you on Monday." Celestia gave Burst a goodbye kiss and he was off for home. 'Ah. A perfect day. Something tells me things are only going to get better from now on! '

The next few days were far from boring for Burst. Not only was Nightshade going to CHS, but she had also told him she had no place to stay, and he couldn't just leave her to fend for herself. So he wound up having her stay in an extra room at his house. She was so happy she gave him a hug that nearly crushed him! 'I hope Celestia doesn't take this the wrong way. ' Nightmare on the other hand, was ecstatic.
'Barely two days and I've already living in the same house as him. ', Nightmare thought to herself. 'I wonder how Dark Ice is doing with his vengeance? ' She soon found out the next day that Ice had kidnapped Ace's girlfriend Sonata. He then used his dark powers to control her like a puppet and forced her to duel against Ace! Ace managed to snap her out of it, but Dark Ice was a sore loser. He attempted to fire a blast of darkness that would have destroyed the whole group. But Burst put a stop to that with a blast of his own! "Hadoken!" Ice then called a hasty retreat to consult what to do next with Nightmare. But upon observing his actions, she was less than pleased. And she expressed her displeasure with a slap across his face! "What were you about to do?!"
"I was going to destroy my brother once and for all! Maybe even get rid of a larger threat from that Burst Stream guy! I sensed how strong he is! He could easily destroy either of us! What's wrong with that?!" Nightmare was furious! Ice had made the mistake of trying to destroy her soon-to-be lover, and she wasn't going to have any of that. And she wasn't a big fan of destroying people either.
"I may want eternal night for this world, but I will not stain my rule with destruction. I will defeat the elements. But I. Will. Not. Destroy them. And if you pull another stunt like that, I'll end you myself! Are. We. Clear?"
"Crystal.", Dark Ice growled. "But know that if you bring eternal night, this world will be dead anyway."
"What are you talking about?"
"Without the sun's light, nothing would grow and everything would wither away. The whole planet would be a frozen tomb. When you think about what I tried to do, I was going to spare them the agony of a slow demise.", Ice said with a sneer as he left. Nightmare fell to her knees as thoughts raced through her head.
"Would...would I really have doomed Equestria to such a fate? Was I really blind to the consequences of my actions? Was this why Luna and I were banished?" The realization hit her full force, and Nightmare Moon, one of the most feared villains from Equestria, burst into tears. "Celestia knew something like that would happen! And all I did was try to destroy her! It's my fault Luna and I were banished! My fault that Celestia felt the pain of losing her for 1000 years! And my fault Luna took the fall for my mistake and became feared and hated! Why it was so hard for her to be accepted when our banishment ended!" Nightmare's thoughts then turned back to Equestria. "Luna...I'm so sorry!" Nightmare continued to lament her past, until someone noticed her.
"Something on your mind?", Golden Rise asked.
"Who are you?" Nightmare was startled!
"Call me Gold for short. By the looks of that darkness aura around you, you're not from this world. So who are you, and why did you come here?"
"My name is Nightmare Moon. I first came here to bring eternal night. But after hearing the possible consequences my actions could bring about, I'm not so sure I want that anymore. But why am I telling you this? It's not like you can relate to me."
"No. I can't. But I can tell you this. Whatever happened in the past doesn't have to be the path you stick to. Make your own way."
"....Thank you.", Nightmare said as she left. 'I guess I should head back to Burst's house. He's probably wondering where I am. ' Meanwhile, Burst and Ace had defeated Dark Ice, and Burst arrived home first. When Nightmare opened the door, Burst seemed to be pretty happy to see her.
"Hey Nightshade! How'd your day go?"
"Ok."
"Mine could have gone better. Ace and I took down his evil brother. It was a pretty insane duel. All I know is that my bed is going to feel pretty good after today."
'They beat Dark Ice! That's a relief. ', Nightmare thought to herself with a small smile. As the day drew to a close and she went to sleep, Nightmare oddly enough was plagued by nightmares herself.
Inside Nightmare's dreams...
"I'm back in Equestria?", Nightmare said as she found herself back in her old home. But something wasn't right. The whole place felt cold, and lifeless. She looked all around to see ponies shivering not only from the cold that seemed ever present, but also in fear of her presence. Nightmare looked to the sky, and saw that where the sun normally stood that the moon stood instead. 'Is this....the Equestria that would have happened if I brought eternal night? ' Nightmare decided to further explore this possibility by flying to where Canterlot Castle once stood. In its place was a castle themed after the night. Nightmare ventured inside, and journeyed to see where she would have kept Celestia or Luna prisoner. When she entered, they both seemed to pick up on her presence before she was within eyesight.
"Do you understand what you've done now?", Celestia asked with contempt spilling from her voice.
"I-I didn't know."
"How could you?! All you were was selfish monster who wanted nothing more to make yourself happy! And all it cost you was the lives of everypony in Equestria!" Nightmare tried to talk to Luna, but she kept her back turned to her. "And you took Luna away from me for one thousand years! None of this would have happened if you never existed!" The words pierced Nightmare's heart, and the shock of them caused her dreams to shift back to when she and Luna had returned from their banishment. Nightmare was so engrossed in the dream she tried to talk to ponies there, but they all ran and screamed in terror!
"Wait! I'm not the way I used to be! Please! I don't want to hurt any of you!", Nightmare pleaded! But in the end, she was all alone. The dream shifted again, and she woke up to find herself on the moon. "I should have guessed this would happen...", she said as her chest felt weighed down with the weight of the world. Tears began to form in her eyes. "I...I don't want people to be scared of me...", she sobbed.
"..ightshade!", a voice called out that she could barely hear.
"I don't want to be hated or for people to run away from me!", Nightmare cried as tears were now streaming down her face!
"Nightshade!", the voice called louder.
"I DON'T WANT TO BE ALONE ANYMORE!", she screamed!
"NIGHTSHADE!", Burst nearly screamed! Nightmare opened her eyes to see Burst standing over her. "You alright? You sounded like you were having the worst nightmare possible." Nightmare took a moment to catch her breath from the shock of waking up.
"I was."
"Do you wanna...talk about it?" Nightmare nodded.
'Burst's been nothing but good to me ever since I came to this world. He deserves to know the truth about me. ' "Burst...there's something I should tell you first. I'm not from this world and....Nightshade isn't my real name." Burst was silent for a few seconds before he answered her.
"I know you're not from around here." Nightmare was caught completely off-guard!
"What?! How did you know?"
"Another perk of my dragonic powers is that I can pick up on energy signatures. Yours looks like it came from Equestria. So, tell me who you really are.", Burst said with a kind smile.
"My real name is Nightmare Moon. In Equestria, I was brought to life from Luna's jealousy of Celestia and tried to bring eternal night. I was defeated by the elements of harmony and banished with Luna to the moon for a thousand years. After all those years we escaped, but were defeated by the new bearers of the elements. Luna was separated from me, and I was nothing more than a pile of magical mist. That is, until you came to Equestria. You left a good amount of residual magic behind that I used to regenerate myself before I crossed over to your world. At first I wanted to continue my plans for eternal night. I sided with Dark Ice, but after he was first defeated he told me what would happen should I succeed. The world would wither away and freeze over without any light. And it would all be my fault. I realized that was why I was banished, and that it was my fault Celestia was alone for a thousand years! And that I caused Luna so much pain!" Nightmare teared up as she said this. "I don't want to be feared or hated anymore! I don't want to be alone!" Nightmare was almost crying until Burst wrapped his arms around her. "You probably hate me don't you? For not telling you and siding with Dark Ice. I wouldn't blame you."
"Nightmare...I don't hate you."
"You...you don't?"
"No. I don't. Whatever you tried to do in the past doesn't apply here. This is a chance to start over, and to not be alone. You've already got me, and I'm sure the rest of my friends would get to like you too.", Burst said with a gentle smile never once breaking the embrace he held Nightmare in. "As long as I'm here, you never have to be alone." Nightmare was in awe! Despite all she had told him, the things she had done, Burst was still willing to accept her. She then decided to ask a fairly bold question.
"Burst...could I sleep with you tonight? And could you not call me Nightmare? Could you...call me Moon instead?" Burst still had that gentle smile on his face.
"Sure...Moon. With the dreams you've been having, I'd say you're better off not sleeping alone." The two of them headed up to Burst's room. Burst soon fell fast asleep, and wound up facing Moon. She hesitated on getting closer to him, but all hesitation was gone when she remembered Burst's words. As she wrapped her arms around Burst, a feeling of safety came over her.
'He's so warm. I feel...safe around him. Like I'm not alone anymore. You were more right than you know Burst. I don't feel alone anymore. ', Nightmare thought to herself with a smile as she drifted off to sleep. This time however, she had pleasant dreams the rest of the night.

Inside Moon's dream....
Nightmare had taken over Equestria. Except the ponies were replaced with humans. She had actually gone into negotiaions with Celestia and Luna to confine them to certian areas of the castle and they were to be her advisers. Eternal night never fell, and life more or less carried on normally. While she was a bit more intimidating that Celestia and Luna, she wasn't the monster the myths had painted her to be. However, the same could not be said of her generals and her chief adviser Nexus. Against her orders, they had began a hostile takeover of Equestria. While she still held power, Nexus had pulled the excuse that this was all "Necessary for the public's protection." Moon decided to play along, but only long enough to expose Nexus. What Nexus and the generals didn't expect, was a resistance. A extremely small resistance made up of only five to seven fighters who had taken down one of their armies without so much as destroying anyone. Moon smiled at the generals receiving a thorough beating, but feigned concern so none would suspect her. More reports came in saying that this lone group had decimated over half the army, and they were apparently making their way toward Canterlot. And then, it happened. Nexus came rushing into the throne room with a mad grin on his face.
"Queen Moon! Our last base close to Canterlot has fallen!"
"And you're happy about that why?"
"We captured the leader of that blasted resistance group that had decimated over ninety-percent of our forces! The noble fool covered his comrades escape, and we were able to overwhelm him! Bring in the prisoner!" A figure was walking in chains and surrounded by a squad of soldiers. "I give you the leader of the resistance. Burst Stream." Burst looked at Nexus with a cold stare, and then he turned his attention to Moon. She found herself lost in the sapphire orbs that were his eyes.
"Your highness. I didn't expect to get an audience with you so soon.", Burst said with a small smile.
"Heh. You make light of your impending doom fool?", Nexus said with a sneer.
"Nexus. Look me in the eye." Nexus complied. "The next time I see you, one of us is going to be out cold on the floor. I believe you fine guards will be showing me to my cell?" The guards were puzzled by this, but weren't going to complain since he was more compliant than they thought he would be. He had even surrendered without a fight.
"I trust you have a suitable punishment planned my queen?", Nexus asked with a crazed grin.
"Of sorts.", Moon said with a small smile. Meanwhile, the captain of Nexus' guards stopped to mock Burst in his cell.
"So you're the one who's been a pain in Nexus's butt?", she spat. "Hah! You don't look so tough from where I'm standing! How did you and a bunch of punks defeat most of our army?" Soon, music began to fill the air.

"Stay right there, and I'll show you.", Burst said with a smirk as he raised his arms, and broke out of his chains. He then kicked off the cell door knocking the guard out. Then he activated his com-link. "Inferno? Do you read me?"
"Loud and clear Burst! Did your plan work?"
"Better than I thought! Now the real fun begins." Burst summoned his weapons: Two blasters and a sword modeled after the Blue Eyes White Dragon. He twirled his blasters before holstering them. "Let's rock baby!", Burst said as he went into impound and picked up his red coat that the soldiers had taken away to spite him. It came as no surprise that the whole dungeon was alerted to his escape and a battalion of guards were waiting for him as he stepped out into the open. "Well boys?" Burst unsheathed his sword. "Who's first?" The guards all charged him at once, but one by one they fell knocked out cold! Burst had struck them with the side of his sword, and not the edge! One guard was left quaking in his boots as Burst approached him. "Hey! Could you do me one little favor?"
"Y-yes?"
"You run off to Nexus and tell him I'm headed towards him and her royal highness. Can ya handle that?"
"Y-yes! But I have to ask something."
"Yeah?"
"Why didn't you kill anyone? Are we just not worth your time? Or do you not even see us as threats?!"
"I just don't want to hurt anyone. I'm pretty sure most of you are just doing your jobs. So I'm just gonna do mine. Now be a good boy and deliver my message!" The guard hastily complied and dashed off the inform Nexus. "Now to give myself a little guided tour of the place.", Burst said with a smirk. He had made it to the main castle, and was greeted by the whole of the elite guard when he opened the doors. "Well ain't this rolling out the red carpet?" Burst made sure his blasters were set on stun. "Let's rock!" The elites charged him, but Burst dodged with little to no effort and responded with a hail of blaster fire that knocked them out cold! More tried to come at him from the air, but they were all grounded with a flurry of blaster fire! Some were even crazy or stupid enough to charge at him with just their fists! And they were slugged out one by one! Only one guard was left standing, and he made a mad dash at Burst with his sword! Burst leaned back, and twilred one of his blasters against the edge creating sparks as it made contact! He then kicked the guard into a wall! "Now onto the final boss." Nexus was with Moon when the guard Burst had left conscious came barging in!
"Adviser Nexus! The prisoner has escaped form the dungeons and taken down all the guards! No casualties are reported, and he had a message for you!" Moon's eyes flashed full of interest at hearing this.
"And that would be?", Nexus growled.
"He's coming for you." Then a knock was heard at the throne room door! Soon, the door was kicked down and Burst walked in!
"Must be a slow day in the royal court.", he said as he casually strolled about the room. "Oh. Didn't see you there Nexus. Hey guard? Why don't you head home for the day? Things are gonna get messy." The guard bolted out of the room! "Now then, I'm here to ask for your surrender."
"Insolent fool! Do you think the great Queen Moon would give up without a fight?!", Nexus scoffed.
"I meant your surrender Nexus. You're the one behind the hostile takeover. Now come quietly or there'll be some consequences."
"Surely you don't believe such nonsense my queen?", Nexus asked nervously trying to hide the fact Burst was telling the truth. "I would never-" Nexus was soon struck by a lightning bolt and a stun blast from Burst's blaster. He then fainted on the ground.
"Shut up Nexus.", Burst and Moon said in unison. Moon then walked up to Burst with a smile on her face.
"I must applaud you for such bravery. Coming here on your own and taking down almost every guard here. All to expose those who were using my name to do horrible acts. Burst Stream was it?"
"That's my name alright. By the way, thanks for shutting up Nexus. He got really annoying. So what're you going to do now?"
Moon smiled as she had one of her aids have the citizens gather for an announcement. "Citizens of Equestria!", she declared. "My head adviser and generals have been detained for using my name to enact a hostile takeover during my rule! I hereby return the throne of Equestria to Princesses Celestia and Luna and restore the diarchy!" All of Equestria was shaken by Moon's announcement! When she met with Celestia and Luna, she told them of what had occurred and the one who had been instrumental in exposing Nexus. "In light of all this, I'd like to be confined to my chamber in the castle. I trust these terms are favorable?"
"Indeed they are. And if you like, I can ask Burst Stream to be your supervisor.", Celestia said with a warm smile. "I can tell you like him."
"I'd like that very much." Over the next couple of days, Moon's chamber was set-up and Burst had come to watch over her, and was wearing his signature outfit complete with his red coat. As she was reading a book, she noticed Burst was also occupied with his own entertainment. "What's that you're playing?"
"I'm playing my DS. In specific, I'm playing an old gameboy game. Metroid Fusion." Burst then decided to ask the burning question on his mind. "If you don't mind me asking, why did you pick me to watch you?"
"Well...I....I might have feelings for you.", Moon said with a timid smile as she blushed. "It became clear when I first looked into your eyes. I was entranced by them. You probably think it sounds silly."
"Not really. You've got a lovely set of eyes yourself.", Burst said with a smile. "In fact, you look quite beautiful as a whole."
"Same to you handsome.", Moon said with a flirty smile. "So are you and your friends some sort of special unit Celestia and Luna set up?"
"Nope. Just a bunch of friends who don't like bullies.", Burst said with a chuckle. "Call me crazy, but I think I'm falling for you. But enough about me. What're the things you're into?" The two had worked up a conversation, and before they knew it the day was coming to an end. "Huh. Would you look at that. Sleep well Moon."
"I will see you tomorrow right?" Burst turned around and gave her a loving smile.
"It's a date." Over the next couple of weeks the two of them got close and then, it happened one day as Burst came to watch her.
"Hello Bur-", Moon cur her sentence short when she noticed Burst had no shirt under his coat. Burst seemed to notice how she was looking at him.
"It's rude to stare.", he said with a small smile. "But I don't mind if it's you." Burst then made his way over to Moon. And for the first time, he actually looked nervous. "C-could I kiss you?" Moon grinned and pulled him into a deep kiss.
"Did you even have to ask?", Moon said as she pulled out of the kiss. Then an idea came to her. "If you want to take things to the next level, meet me here tonight. Let's just say you'll be having a restless night.", she whispered into his ear.
"We don't have to go that far. At least, not if you don't want to. Just kissing you is enough for now. I'd rather we let what we have grow."
"Of course. But my offer is always open to you. Remember that.", Moon said with a warm smile as she made-out Burst for a short while. A month or two passed, and their relationship had seemed to grow at a steady rate. And then, one particular day stood out among the rest.
"Moon?"
"Yes?"
"I think I wanna take you up on your offer.", Burst said. "That is, if you're not doing anything better."
"Last I checked I had nothing planned. I'll be waiting for you.", Moon said with a sexy smirk. "See you tonight." That night, Burst was greeted by a sight that could only be described as divine. "Hope you weren't planning on going to bed early.", Moon teased as she led him to bed. She made the first move by pulling Burst into a long kiss, and he began trailing kisses down her neck. "Hmm. I think we're ready for the next part.", she cooed seductively. Before either of them knew it, they had made love under the moon's pale glow.
"You know Moon, this was my first time.", Burst said blushing from their night of passion.
Moon giggled. "Then I'm glad I made it good for you." She then pulled him into a loving kiss and they fell asleep in each others arms.
Back in the real world...
Moon had just embraced in the same intimate position. Sleeping soundly as she held him close to herself.

Burst stirred as he woke up, but found himself unable to move his arms. Then he noticed Moon holding him in quite the intimate position. 'She must've had a real good dream. I almost feel bad for waking her up. Almost. ' "Wakey, wakey sleeping beauty."
"Mmmm. Good morning Burst.", Moon said with a smile. "That was some of the best sleep I've ever had. I guess today you're introducing me to your friends?"
"Yeah. No better place to start. They're some of the nicest people I know, so don't worry!"
"If you say so.", Moon said with a nervous smile as the two of them headed for school. Burst introduced her to his friends, and like he said all of them seemed to like her pretty well. 'Burst was right. All of them do seem to accept me with no problem. ', Moon thought to herself with a smile. As the day went on, another one of Burst's friends, Sunset, had challenged Moon to a duel. Moon won, but she couldn't shake this weird feeling she got from Sunset. 'She looks at me like she recognizes me from Equestria. Maybe it's nothing. I'm happy here, and I've got friends. And there's no place I'd rather be. ' Soon the intercom went off and Moon was called to Principal Celestia's office. "You wanted to see me ma'am?"
"Yes. It's clear that you gave me the wrong name when you enrolled here. I hope you don't mind correcting it?"
"Not at all. There that should clear away any confusion."
"Thank you. You're free to go." The rest of the day went on fairly normal, until that night. Burst had gotten a text from Sunset saying it was urgent and that he and Moon were needed and that she had texted everyone. Burst let his mom know that he and Moon might be coming home late. Moon was not prepared for what she was about to see. Sunset and the others were waiting by the statue in front of the school. Even Principal Celestia was there. Not a moment later, Princesses Celestia, Luna, and Twilight came through the portal that was linked to the statue. Moon was panicking on the inside while she kept a calm exterior.
"Nice to see you again princesses.", Burst greeted. "But why are you here?"
"I'll only ask this once Burst.", Luna said bluntly. "Where is Nightmare Moon?" Moon stepped out from behind Burst to face Luna. "Hold still Burst." Luna then used her magic to scan Burst. "There's no enchantment on you, so she hasn't manipulated you." After a brief interruption by Ace and Sonata, Luna quickly brought the focus back where it should be. "My sister, Twilight, Sunset, and I would like a word with Nightmare Moon in private." Burst was about to protest, but Moon stopped him.
"Burst. It's alright. It's time for me to face what lies ahead." Moon left with the princesses to see what her fate would be. Burst in the meantime, turned his attention to Principal Celestia and his friends.
"What could Moon have done that the princesses would come here to talk to her?", Inferno asked. Burst sighed.
"Moon told me her whole history. You all might want to sit down for this." Burst told them about how Moon had come to be, her defeat at the elements of harmony, her separation from Luna, how she had managed to restore herself, and what she had done in their world. And lastly he told them about how much she regretted what she had done. "And now you know everything. You don't have to like her, but all I ask is that you don't hate her." Inferno was the first to find his voice.
"After all she's been through, how can we not feel for her? More then ever, I think she needs good friends. Like us."
"Indeed darling.", Rarity spoke up. "She may have had a rough past, but then again we have friends who were in more or less the same boat."
"Poor Moon's been lonely for so long. I don't want to leave her alone now that I know what happened to her. Even if she did used to be scary.", Fluttershy added.
"The fact she's trying to make up for what she did makes her awesome in my book!", Rainbow declared.
"The Moon Ah got ta know ain't nothin' like the way she used to be. Ah say we give her a chance!", Aj said.
"I don't want Moon to leave either! I had planned her party for tonight!", Pinkie chirped.
"If my family could change, I don't see why Moon couldn't!", Sonata said with a smile.
"I'm with Sonata.", Ace said. "Moon regrets her actions. Which is more than I can say about my brother."
"I'm inclined to agree with all of you.", Principal Celestia said with a smile. "Moon's past doesn't matter if she can have a fresh start here." Burst was crying tears of joy at hearing this.
"You guys...you're the best!" Soon the princesses and Moon returned. "What are you going to do with Moon?" As each of his friends pleaded their case, the princesses gave them a knowing smile.
"Moon will be staying here with all of you.", Princess Celestia said. "Upon hearing her talk about how you people have changed her, and how you've made her feel loved, my sister, Twilight, and I have decided she should stay here. She spoke quite highly of you Burst. She's lucky to have you." After hearing this news, Moon rushed up to Burst and kissed him! It was unexpected, but not unwelcome.
"Um, Moon? You do know I'm dating my world's Celestia right?"
"I believe we can work something out.", Principal Celestia said as she walked up to them with a smile. "No reason why we can't share right?"
"I've got no problem with Burst having more than one girlfriend! What about you Burst?", Moon asked in a flirty tone. Burst cracked a grin.
"The more the merrier." As everyone was about to celebrate, one of Burst's old foes, Sombra, returned to seek vengeance on Burst. However, he quickly fell and the group went on to celebrate their newest friend, and Burst's newest girlfriend. Burst and the guys soon took the stage and were about to give a performance.
"You're in for quite the treat.", Celestia said with a smile. "Burst sang for me on our first date. Just wait until you hear his voice." Moon was nearly in tears at how well Burst was able to perform. He poured his heart into every lyric! As soon as the guys were done with their performance, they joined their respective significant other.
"I believe I owe you two a dance?", Burst asked with a charming smile.
"You sure know how to speak to a girl.", Celestia said with a smile. "I take it you dedicated that performance to Moon?"
"Burst! Did you really do all that for me?", Moon's heart was soaring when she heard that.
"I did. I meant every word I sang. I don't care about your past as long as you love me."
"C'mere.", Moon and Celestia said as they brought in Burst for a kiss and they danced the night away.

Chapter 6: In your dreams
"Gotta say. As long as Pinkie's throwing a party you'll never get bored!", Burst said with exhaustion evident in his voice as he and Moon returned home. "But now I'm beat. I don't know about you Moon, but I'm hitting the hay."
"Sounds good to me.", Moon said with a tired smile. "Sweet dreams Burst." Burst showered and got into his pajamas and Moon did the same. Both of them collapsed on Burst's bed and were whisked away to sleep. Once she was in the dreamscape, Moon decided to walk into Burst's dream. In his dream Burst was resting on Celestia's lap while Moon was resting on his chest. "Hi Burst!", Moon greeted him and promptly making Burst aware he was dreaming.
"Moon?! But! You were..How?"
"I'm dream walking. Now all I need to do is find Celestia's dreams and we can all spend more time together!"
"So we're literally in my dreams?"
"Uh-huh."
"Sweet. Now I can dream up any crazy idea I had during my childhood!"
"Hm. I never had a childhood. I literally popped into existence from Luna's jealousy." Moon was caught off guard when Burst hugged her tightly.
"You poor thing." A TV with a DVD player and a bunch of movies soon materialized. "I'm going to give you the best one possible with the movies and TV shows that brought me joy!" And so the two of them binged almost every TV show that made up Burst's childhood. Moon especially loved Power Rangers and Transformers. "Wouldn't have pegged you as a fan Moon."
"What can I say? I like action! So what's next on the list?" Burst put on Dragon Ball Z, and the two of them were soon re-enacting one of the classic scenes. "What does the scouter say about his power level?", Moon asked.
"IT'S OVER 9000!", Burst shouted at the top of his lungs! Both were laughing hysterically after this.
"So what next?"
"Movies!" Moon was wide-eyed when Burst showed her the original Star Wars trilogy! They also viewed Jurrasic Park, Back to the Future, and almost every Marvel Superhero Movie.
"Thanks for giving me the childhood I never had!", Moon said with a smile. "So what do we do now?"
"Now comes my favorite part: videogames!" Burst played about five rounds of Super Smash Bros., and showed off Metroid and Devil May Cry. The two then got into a heated round of Street Fighter. "I'm guessing Luna's gaming skills rubbed off on you?"
"A little.", Moon said with a smirk. "You're pretty good yourself. Well I think we've hit all the key points. So what now?"
"We could see what Celestia's up to in her dreams."
"Good idea!" Moon warped the two of them into Celestia's dream. Once they arrived they saw her on a date with Burst. "I wonder if she'd like to have a dream date with the genuine article?", Moon said with a smile as she and Burst entered the dream. "Hi Celly!", Moon greeted!
"Well this is pleasant surprise. But how are you and Burst here Moon?"
"Dream walking. Burst had just finished up giving me the childhood I never had.", Moon said with a smile. "So would you like the three of us to go on a literal dream date?"
"Sounds wonderful. And I think I know just how to start it.", Celestia said with a smile. The three of them found themselves in a movie theater. "I take it Burst told you how much of a fan of the Elemental Heroes? So why not start with a movie?" The three of them sat down and enjoyed the movie. Burst shared a kiss with Celestia and Moon as the end credits rolled. "I think there's only one way this could be better.", Celestia said with a mischievous smile. Burst was wondering what Celestia had in mind, and soon blushed when he saw that he was shirtless!
"Agh! How is this better?!"
"Come on Burst.", Celestia said her voice dripping with allure. "Aren't you comfortable with showing off for your girlfriends." She inched closer as Burst found himself stuck between her and Moon.
"Well....I guess I don't mind as long as it's you two.", Burst said with a small smile.
"You're cute when you get nervous.", Moon whispered into his ear.
"And you've got a voice like silk and Celestia has voice like music.", Burst said with a smirk. "So I guess we're making out now?" Celestia and Moon just smiled to answer him, and soon Burst found himself in their arms and kissing them. "Best. Dream. Ever.", Burst said as he rested in between the women he loved.

Chapter 7: Just Girls Talking
The next day was going pretty well, and Moon was in a pretty good. And then she got called to Celestia's office. "Hello Moon. Do you have a moment?"
"I've got some time. So what is it that you want to talk about?"
"How were you able to dream walk with Burst last night?"
"Oh! I was sleeping with him!"
"What?!"
"Wait! Not like that! I mean that we share a bed!", Moon panicked while blushing.
"Oh. Sorry for that outburst.", Celestia said with a nervous laugh. "Sooo how is it sleeping next to him?"
"Well Burst's more comfy than any pillow, and he's pretty warm. I can't help but feel safe with him.", Moon said with a fond smile. "He's like a sleeping dragon. Not to mention we got a good look at what's under his shirt." Moon said with a smirk. "I suppose I should thank you for that little sneak peek last night. Have a good day Celestia. Anything else you want to bring up?"
"Actually, yes. My dragons have heard the cries of enslaved dragons. And their cries are close. Almost like they're in the school. I've alerted Sunset and the others. I thought you should know too."
"Got it. Now it's just a matter of when this new threat strikes." It struck sooner than expected. The threat was revealed by legendary dragons that Ace had freed. Her name was Starlight Glimmer, and she had been capturing legendary dragons. Soon, she had even tried to attack a group of kids she and Burst had met just the other day. And Moon wasn't going to have any of that! During her duel against Starlight, the elements gave her their power and she ponied-up! With the new form of her ace card, she won the duel easily. Her ponied-up appearance reflected the form she had back in Equestria complete with cat-like eyes, pony ears, and large black wings. She was sure the kids would be scared of her, but they actually went up to her and hugged her. Moon smiled at this, and decided to show off her new form to Burst. When he saw her, his jaw nearly dropped!
"You sure got yourself a make-over.", Burst said with a small smile. Moon pulled him close with her wings.
"Well now you don't have to worry about me hogging the covers.", Moon said with a giggle as she powered-down. Moon told him about what had happened, and Burst told her he knew what there was to know about this new threat, and sighed as he wished she could see another way. Moon summoned her wings again and pulled him into a hug.
"That's probably what Celestia and I love most about you. You're willing to give people a chance to start again. Maybe Starlight will change."
"Thanks Moon. I just hope she realizes it before it's too late." The next day, Ace and Shadow had convinced Starlight to see another way. Until the real threat revealed itself. All of them entered Paradox's castle to rescue Starlight, but they got separated into groups Moon was paired up with Celestia, and they defeated the illusion that took on Moon's former self. Celestia and Moon ponied-up to beat her.
"Well this is new.", Celestia said as she admired her new form. "But not unwelcome."
"Well now you literally have the body of a goddess.", Moon said with a smile. "Poor Burst might get a nosebleed from looking at us." In the end Paradox was defeated, and Starlight was rescued. "Another happy ending.", Moon said with a smile.

Chapter 8: A Break from the Excitement
The last few days had been crazy. Paradox trying to capture all the legendary dragons, Flash and Blueblood having an argument that ended in a compromise, and Fluttershy beign possessed by a piece of jewelry that held the soul of a vampire. And that was before the tournament Luna decided to throw at the school had even kicked off! 'Never a dull moment. ', Burst thought to himself as the tournament raged on. The winner of the final duel would get the chance to face him in a duel. Needless to say, a lot of duelists had entered and gave it their all. Now only two were left standing. Inferno, and Ace. In the end, Inferno was the last one standing, and the winner of the tournament. The duel between him and Burst had the whole crowd cheering! But the most shocking thing was that Dark Ice had somehow returned, and had made amends with his family. 'Now this seems like a good end to the tournament. ', Burst thought with a smile. As the day drew to a close, Moon came up to Burst with a question.
"Burst? Can your bed hold up to three people?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Because Moon told me how good a pillow you make and how cute you look when you're sleeping.", Celestia said with a smile.
"Something tells me I'm going to be having plenty of sweet dreams with you two around for the night." Burst's mom approved of the three of them sharing a bed. They passed the time by holding a movie marathon and couple rounds of gaming. Although Celestia wasn't exactly the best at the last part. They all changed into their bed clothes, and drifted off to sleep. Only to continue their sleepover date in their dreams.
The next morning....
Burst felt two bodies pressed against him. He opened his eyes and smiled to see Celestia and Moon holding him tight. He got out of bed without making a sound, and made his way downstairs. 'Both of them have been the best girls I could ask for. Might as well do something to show them my appreciation. ' Burst proceeded to make breakfast for the whole house. After he got all of the supplies he needed, he put on his headphones and played the only song worth playing on a Saturday morning.

Burst smiled as the theme song played, and he got to cooking. When he finished, he took a second to admire his handiwork. 'I hope tey like it. ' Burst returned upstairs and brought his clothes for the day with him as he got into the shower. As he cleaned himself, he received an unexpected surprise.
"Mind if I join you?", Celestia asked with a smile. Burst blushed at even the thought of her in the shower with him!
"Uh...s-sure. No problem.", Burst said. "Could you pass me the shampoo please?"
"Sure." Burst couldn't believe how calmly Celestia was handling the situation.
"Celestia? Why are you so comfortable with being naked with me in the shower?"
"I got to see you shirtless. I thought it was only fair for you to get a look at me.", she said with a wink. "Besides. I don't mind the attention if it's from you. So how about we both enjoy this?" Celestia then gave him a loving embrace. Burst smiled and kissed her as he exited the shower.
"In that case, I think you'll be pretty happy with the surprise I got ready for you and Moon this morning.", Burst said as he got dressed.
"Are you going to give me any hints?"
"Nope.", Burst said with a smirk as he pulled his shirt on. "But you two will know it when you see it!" Burst then made his way downstairs, got his food, and turned on the TV to whatever channel was showing power rangers. Moon had just woken up, and gotten ready for the day.
"Morning Tia!", she greeted. "I see you kept Burst company this morning?"
"Sure did. He also said he had a surprise for us downstairs, but he didn't give me any clues. Want to find out?"
"You bet I do.", Moon said with a smile. The two of them made their way downstairs and saw that Burst had gotten breakfast ready for all of them. "He really knows how to go the extra mile.", Moon said with a loving smile. "What do you say we thank him for it?" Moon and Celestia made their way over to Burst and kissed him. "
"You didn't have to go and do that for us Burst.", Celestia said with a smile.
"No. But I wanted to.", Burst replied. The three enjoyed the morning, and then made plans for how to spend the rest of the day. Their answer came in the form of a text from Pinkie. "Hey everydbody! Meet me at Sugar Cube Corner. I don't know what she's got planned, but Pinkie's always got a good surprise. What do you say we check it out?" Burst, Celestia, and Moon met with their friends at Pinkie's workplace. When they opened the doors, they found almost the whole school had thrown them a surprise party! "I should've known!", Burst said with a grin as he and everyone proceeded to party. Meanwhile, Pinkie put a smiley face next to each of the relationships her friends had.
"Just as it should be.", she said with a smile before rejoining the party.

Burst, Inferno, Ace, Gold, Shadow, Steel and Ice were sitting together on a Friday afternoon. All of them had one thing on their minds. Their girlfriends. "It's hard to believe how lucky we are isn't it?", Burst asked as he thought of Celestia and Moon.
"No kidding. It's nice to know we've got someone special in our hearts.", Inferno said as he thought of Rarity.
"People who always make us smile.", Ace said as he thought of Sonata.
"Ones we love no matter what.", Gold said as he thought of Sunset.
"Girls that make us feel complete.", Shadow said thinking of Starlight.
"The ones that keep us crazy.", Steel said with a smirk as he thought of Rainbow Dash.
"And ones that love us despite the past.", Ice said as he thought about Indigo Zap. Meanwhile the girls were talking about their respective significant others.
"You know, I still can't believe how lucky we got.", Celestia said with a fond smile. "Finding someone special for each of us."
"To be honest, I thought I'd never date again after Flash.", Sunset said. "I guess I don't have to worry about that with Gold though."
"And I was sure I'd be alone with my family. Until Ace came along.", Sonata said with a cheerful smile.
"Especially since they don't care about our past. Only that they love us now.", Moon said with a smile.
"They really do make us feel accepted.", Starlight said. "That shows just how much they love us."
"I never thought I'd find a decent guy until I met Inferno.", Rarity said.
"What you guys said, but less mushy.", Rainbow Dash said while Indigo nodded in approval. The girls then decided to surprise their boyfriends. The guys just smiled as they enjoyed their girls company. Both were thinking the same thing. 'There's no one who makes me happier than you. '
