"That sure was fun. Don't you agree, Fluttershy?" I asked. We were on our way back to Ponyville, riding in an empty train cart. I was thankful for that because there was something I wanted to discuss with Fluttershy.
"Yeah, it was... interesting, to say the least," Fluttershy replied.
"Yeah, real interesting," I said," Actually Fluttershy, there is something I need to tell you before we get off this train."
"Oh, of course, Applejack. I'm all ears."
Here goes nothing, I thought.
"When I had went to go thank Flim for what they did to help us prove Gladmane was lying, manipulating business pony, well, um, you see, we kind of... kissed."
I looked down at my hooves to hide the small blush that was beginning to appear on my light orange colored fur. I heard Fluttershy gasped quietly before she responded.
"Um," Fluttershy responded melancholy," Well, if you like him, I don't have any problem with you being with him. You should be with a pony who makes you happy, and if that's him than I can't stop you."
"Thank you, Fluttershy. You're acceptance means a whole lot to me. I'm just afraid of how our friends and my family will think about this news."
"Applejack, if Flim is who you care about, our friends and your family should be happy that you have found somepony that cares about you just as much as they do towards you."
"That means a lot to me. You really are a great friend."

"Next stop, Ponyville!"
"That's us," Fluttershy said," I can't wait to see all my critter friends again."
"Yeah, and I can't wait to see everypony else," I responded," But I think we should go talk to Twilight first about our trip. I'm sure she'll want to hear all about it."
"Oh, right."
Ten minutes later, the train pulled into the station, and me and Fluttershy got off the train. As we made our ways towards Twilight's castle, I figured when we got there, it would be a good time for me to tell Twilight what had happened in Las Pegasus between me and Flim. Butterflies began fluttering in my stomach as the castle came into view. Walking up the steps to the door, Fluttershy knocked gently, just loud enough for Spike to come and open the door for us.
"Hey, guys!" Spike said," Twilight has been waiting for you two. She's right in the throne room."
"Thanks, Spike," Fluttershy replied.
The moment I opened the door, Twilight flew over to me, mere inches from my face, ready for us to tell her about our adventure to Las Pegasus.
"Oh, I'm so glad you guys are back!" Twilight said, excitingly," I just know you two must've had a great time there. Come on in! Tell me all about."

Once we finished telling Twilight how we ran Gladmane out of the hotel, I began to sweat like a pig on a bright summer's day. I was nervous more than ever to tell Twilight my relationship with Flim.
"Wow!," Twilight said after we finished the story," That sounds amazing. Although, I bet it was hard for you, Applejack. Having to see Flim and Flam again must have been tough, let alone having to work together with them. Did anything interesting happen between you guys?"
I looked at Fluttershy for help but all she did was nod her head, telling me to just go ahead and tell Twilight what was going on with me.
"Actually, Twilight," I replied," Something did happen while we were there."
"Oh, what happened?"
"Well, um, you see, me and Flim kind of, well, you know, kissed..."
Twilight just stood still for a moment, processing what I had just said to her.
"That sure is interesting," Twilight interrupted the silence, clearing her throat before adding," Well, if you're happy with the decision you made then I'm happy for you."
"Really?" I questioned her," He has really changed since the tonic incident, and I know he is only going to become a greater pony."
"I'm proud of you, Applejack. I know that they gave you hard time in the past, but you have obviously forgiven both of them and have even made Flim your coltfriend."
"Thank you, Twilight. Flim told me that he was going to become a better pony for me, an honest pony, and that just means so much to me knowing that he his changing from is conniving, cheating skills to a honest and truthful stallion."
"Now that we're finished here," Fluttershy cut in," I should be getting back to my animals. I know how cranky Angel can get when his tail doesn't get fluffed."
"Yeah, I should go, too," I added," I'm sure my family will be looking forward to seeing me."
"Goodbye, girls!"
*********
As I walked along the trail back to the farm, I started thinking of ways I could tell my family of how Flim was apart of my life now. This was going to be one of the toughest I am ever going to have to do, but if it means I get to stay with Flim then okay.
I knocked on the barn doors, waiting for somepony to open the door to see that I had came back. Apple Bloom was the first one to the door and knocked me over, making my hat fall off my head.
"Yay!" Apple Bloom shouted to no one inparticular," Applejack is back!"
"Glad to see you, too, sis."
I grabbed my hat and placed it on my head before making my way inside the barn. I was happy to see Granny Smith and Big Macintosh welcome me home with a nice warm hug from them both.
"We are sure glad you're back, Applejack," Granny Smith said," Aren't we Big Mac?"
"Eeyup."
"I sure am glad to see you guys, too, but I sure am hungry."
" I glad you said that," Granny Smith replied," 'Cause I'm cooking a big "welcome home" meal for you."
"Ah, gee. Thanks, Granny."
"Don't thank me, Deary. Now, head on upstairs. There's a surprise waiting for you."
"Oh, Granny. You didn't have to do that."
"You won't be saying that when you get up there. Now scidaddle to your room, youngin'"
I walked up the stairs, eager to see what Granny got for me. I opened my door, only to be embraced in a tight rug from the least expected pony I would've thought of: Flim.
"Hey, Applejack," Flim said, letting me go," It's about time you made it back."
"How, when, where, what?!"
Flim laughed."I know, I didn't think I would becoming to see you this soon either, but I just couldn't wait a minute longer to see that beautiful face of yours again."
"How did you get here before I did?"
"That's for me to know and for you to find out."
I couldn't help but smile at Flim's efforts to see me so soon. Was I really this important to him. Obviously, or he wouldn't be here.
"However you made it here, I'm glad you did."
"Me, too."
I hugged him, never wanting to let go. I nuzzled against him before I thought of a small detail.
"Does my family know you're here?"
"Of course they know, my sweet Applejack," Flim answered," I also told them about you being my special somepony."
"Did you apologize beforehand?"
"Yeah. Once Big Mac had opened the door and saw me, he immediately closed the door. I waited a few minutes and knocked again. Big Mac came back once again, but he didn't slam the door in face. I began to apologize before he decided to buck me far away. Once I finished apologizing, he gave me a small grin and let me in. He left me in the living room to go tell the rest of your family who and why I was here. They all came out and forgave me. After a little while, I had gained back my courage to tell them why I came back: to see you. Big Mac looked like he was ready to strangle me, but Granny Smith and Apple Bloom accepted me."
"I guess that's why they looked so happy to see me when I walked in. I'm just glad they didn't buck you to next Monday."
"Me, too."
With that, Flim leaned in and kissed me. I didn't stop him; I didn't want to stop him. I wouldn't care if Apple Bloom came in and saw us. I kissed back passionately, loving every moment of the kiss. Before we had a chance to kiss again, Granny Smith called us downstairs.
"I hope you ponies are ready for one hefty meal!"
