As I watched the captains explained that what the princesses were doing, they had done seconds before causing an explosion and blowing the throne room to pieces. I cast my gaze back to the ball as it exploded. The wave of energy blew 2 towers and the street below to smithereens. Luckily the library was far enough away that we just felt the explosion shock waves and it did very little damage to the library. I watched as Celestia seem to flee as she did Luna gave chase and they flew away into the distance. “Okay Captains, the Princesses have flown a bit away from the city. We must warn everyone to take cover and stay inside.” They both looked scared. Then it dawned on me the whole celestial army was against the Luna army which left us on our own… “I understand get to your princesses’ sides and do as ordered. We will fix this!” I said and they galloped away. This left me, your auntie and you foals vulnerable. We took you to the basement of the castle where I prayed you would be safe. I left you with 2 maids and placed my shield around the 5 of you just in case. Twilly and I went back to the library. We agree that we needed to get the elements and stop this. Twilly went by train to fetch the elements while I went to the armies to make sure everyone was aware this would end before it properly had begun but as I finished talking to Lightening flash and was talking to Silver moon, Both Princesses returned and ordered their armies to fight each other. I teleported myself up to the library so I didn’t have to watch as ponies, the solders I had trained were slaughtered over something, no one actually knew… I went to the higher level section of the library to see it there was any spells. I could use to halt this madness until Twilly came back I didn’t want innocent ponies dying because of an unknown cause. I thought of your mother, what she would do in this situation. It didn’t help it just made me want to get you 3. I took a glimpse outside at the damage and destruction and decided I couldn’t leave you 3 to hear this and be alone. I teleported down to the basement got you 3 with the maids and teleported all 6 of us to the library. I looked outside to see half of the castle destroyed. Most of the expensive homes were destroyed. I explain what had happened and they said they would meet us after work in the library. I trotted back to the library feeling relived. I paced back and forth while Flurry and Brave read books and you took a nap… How I have no idea the loud explorations and screams where awful. After what felt like forever. The elements came trotting in and dash of course flew. Finally we could begin your fight against these stupid princesses… The Destruction Of GoddessesWhile the elements spoke. I took a look out of the window and saw the battle raging. The sisters were pretty evenly matched so they seemed to be striking down what the other had created. Celestia in a fit of rage struck a school that supported Luna with a banner it was outside the school as she struck it the place exploded; it was Tuesday at about noon. This meant that there would be hundreds of little foals learning in there… I looked away at my children and thought how the parents would feel. When they came out to see the school gone at their foals dead. I felt awful and I felt for the mothers and fathers who had birthed them, cared for them for them to die in a place that should be safe… Once Luna saw this she did the same… Twilly came over and looked out to see Luna striking Celestia’s school for gifted unicorns. She gasped and stumbled back in shock. Another at least hundred foals dead in a blink of an eye. I thought back to the day that Twilly was excepted she was 5 years old… the schools went up to the ages of 12 I believe so foals, fillies and colts from the age of 5 to the age of 12 where all killed hundreds. I look to Twilly and we decided, we had to evacuate the other foals and minor ponies out of the city. I told Twilly to get a list of every foal, filly and colt with their addresses. I called the station and ordered them to have a train as many carriages long as possible ready to depart for ponyville at 1.30pm and it was reserved for schools only. We both agreed and each hurried to the last 2 school house standing… they would be struck soon as they were opposites again. 1 of them was Luna’s doing the other was Celestia. We both agreed to meet at the station with the foals. Dash and Applejack came with me to Celestia’s school while Twilly, Fluttershy, Rarity and pinkie pie went to Luna’s. We galloped as fast as possible while dash flew. We reached the school to see the children outside in the playground another explosion sent another tower down off the castle crushing anything in it path. The ground shock and it made some of the foals scream. I asked of the head teacher and told her every foal had to get out of here. The ‘war’ had only been going about 45 minutes at this rate they would wipe out the city within the day!! We carefully escorted the foals and teachers to the station. I asked for a list of every foal and their address. I sent every foal’s address a scroll saying. Dear sir or ma’am, I Prince Shining Armor am ordering you to come to Canterlot station the minute you get this. The school your foal/s was at were in great danger so I have escorted them to the station ready to be evaluated to the nearest town ponyville. The train will leave at 1.30pm if you are reading this after that time them please come to Canterlot library. We will have sent the foals and you will be informed of the situation. We will have sent the children with their teachers and the foals have been told they are going to a field trip. All the foals will be reunited with you parent in ponyville. I’m sorry for the in convince but this is for their safety as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna have gone to war against each other. Thank you Prince Shining Armor. We safely got to the train station and met Twilly with hundreds of foals, fillies and colts. It was 1pm some parents had started to arrive. Twilly gave me the list as she organised all the children with the teachers and reunited each parent/family and sent them on the train while I sent all the same scrolls. Once all the parents/families where on the train the foals without parents was sent on with their head teachers. The train set off at 2pm the 7 of us went back to the library where my parents where looking after you 3. We then opened the public entrance and my parents, helped inform where there foals were while the 7 of us sorted out this mess. So our plan of attack was simple. I was going to distract 1 of the sisters, while the elements used their power on the other and then the elements would strike the other sister. We was ready, the plan was set… Safety? Or Not....“Did it work?” “Well…” **** We trotted to the middle of the battle luckily for me Celestia was on the ground so I rushed over to her a shielded her from Luna’s blast. The elements got into formatting and they started to float. Celestia watched with a smile. Thinking we were on her side. She stood and accepted my help to her hoofs. Luna watched helplessly as the rainbow beam flew straight for her as I did she focused her magic a blasted the beam. She tried hard but it was ultimately too much she lost her magic beam and was hit. She went flying thought the air and crashed straight in to a building causing it to crumble in on top of her. The elements then were placed back on the ground as we looked in confusion. She hadn’t been banished to the moon. I fact about a minute later she walked out of the rubble completely unharmed! She looked at the elements and in rage shot a beam at them. I shield them from the beam and Luna looked at me standing with Celestia in the shield bubble. She then shot a beam at Celestia and me as she did I dissipated the shield and teleported to the elements. I left Celestia unprotect and the beam collided with her but again she was fine a few feathers fell out but they were both fine. Celestia shot a beam at Luna and I covered Luna with a shield and stood next to her allowing the elements to try the power on her instead. Even getting rid of one of the princesses we would have benefited as we could over power the other with numbers. Again the rainbow beam connected to Celestia made her go flying but she recovered in the air and hovered there. Once the beam had gone I we was aware the princesses understood what we had tried to do and that we was against them both. They didn’t look happy so we all made a gallop for it. Celestia and Luna aimed and fired many beams of magic at us and eventually the hit there marks. Rainbow was flying above me as I looked up I watched (It was like I was watching in slow motion) as Lunas blue beam of magic hit rainbow. She fell of the sky and in front of me a bit I stopped dead. I was frozen. I couldn’t move I was in shock and fear. I managed to get myself to walk to rainbow as I did I saw the damage her wing was clean off no- where to be seen just her bone sticking out of her back. She was lying on her back how she fell. I checked her pulse she was still alive. I looked up to see Luna starring straight at me, I shield us but the bolt of magic was so powerful it blew me a few feet away. Stunted I watched as she destroyed Rainbow dash with an explosion of magic I heard Twilight scream as she watched her friend be blown to smithereens. Blood, guts and bone flew in every direction as her body was blown up. I looked up to see the horrify grin of Luna’s face. She landed walking towards me. I was shaking in fear. I stood to meet her gaze as she shot a beam at me I blocked it and shield myself. We then heard a scream from Fluttershy. This had Luna’s full attention and she flew to see what had happened I trotted to her side as I did. Rarity, Twilly and pinkie all came close I place a stable shield up around the 5 of us. She pointed to Applejack. Applejack was trying to walk, she was weak. I went to help her as I went to gallop; I saw a beam shoot down at Applejacks back. A crack was herd as the shot fractured her back legs and the bottom of her spine by her tale. Celestia hit made her unable to walk. She picked her front legs up as If she was walking but in fact only her front legs worked. Her back ones, she didn’t realise she couldn’t feel them. Celestia landed behind applejack furious and angry she landed on applejacks hind legs snapping them further. Applejack didn’t react, I was glad she didn’t know Celestia was behind her. I froze as I caught Celestia’s gaze of hated and bloodlust. Fluttershy was huddled into me shaking. Twilly was begging for Celestia to spare her. I had seen war before but nothing could describe this feeling. I had watched ponies die. It was hard but to see someone I trusted turn in to a monster and kill ponies who were trying to help the situation for the better of Equestia. It was wrong on so many levels. We watched as Celestia grasped applejacks hind legs and tale and rip them from applejacks upper half. Twilly looked away and pinkie and rarity screamed. Applejack looked at us with fear and confusion. She then looked where her bottom should have been to find it in Celestia magical grasp. She let out a bloodcurdling scream. I told her we were sorry and that we couldn’t help. I told her I was going to end it for her quickly. She nodded looking at me with tear stained checks. “We will avenge yours and rainbows death I promise.” I said, before I took a sword one of the guards had dropped and cut her throat. Ending her suffering and making Celestia even angrier. I teleported us out of there to library covered in spots of blood. “All the parents of the foals have gone to ponyville and everyone is accounted for? Were you successful?” As my mother said that we heard another loud explosion. “If that’s no indication then No we failed and now 2 of the elements are dead…” I trailed off. “We need a new plan…” Twilly stated “Oh, shining dear, I have the girls’ necklaces what should we do with them?” "What will we do without the elements?" pinkie pie said with the worst expression ever. Not happy and cheerful but sad, depressed and her hair seemed deflated. "Without the element bearers they are no use, the families can have them.as a token of bravery…" As I said that the elements began to glow and they merged into a golden band with both elements being stars. Wait… what. What just happened…Twilly? "I’m not sure, when we became the bearers of the elements they shifted in to necklaces for the cutie mark of that bearer these don’t match any of us bearers, what about your children…" “My children? Brave has a sword and flurry’s looks like the crystal heart with a snow flack behind it no stars anywhere and Skyla doesn’t have one.” “Darling could it be you… you have stars above your shield and you’re loyal. You were the one telling us to get those foals to safety.” Rarity suggested. “Yes brother and even thought you knew we didn’t want to know. You told us that you thought the advisers were against us and they didn’t do anything.” “Wait you think I’m the elements of loyalty and honesty?” “We can only try girls formation.” I place the necklace on with both stars. I stood with the girls and sure enough the necklace linked in a rainbow and then diapered. “It worked we can go and get those princesses now.” Twilly doesn’t think some times. “No Twilly going out there after what just happened is suicide we need the upper hand. We need another plan… but at least we have the elements.” The Loss Of Innocence The Loss Of Innocence We had to tell the families of rainbow and applejack that they had died. We deicide we would get a train to ponyville. We got on the train. Everyone was silent and sad it seemed as though the train took for ever. When we arrive twilight took us to the castle. We walked in to see spike it was nice to see him. “Fluttershy can you go to rainbows parents and ask them to come to the library so I can talk to them, please.” “I would but I don’t know her parents… “Does anyone know her parents?” I didn’t get an answer. “Okay well at least we can tell applejacks family…” I walked with the elements to the farm. Fluttershy and spike stayed at the library to look after your siblings but I took you with us… as we walked in under the arch I saw him… **** “Saw who dad?” “An old cadet…” "His name was big mac I remembered him from the cadets. We were partners, roommates and best friends for months. It was about a month before we would be royal guards when he got the scroll that his parents had died and his sister and gran needed his help. He became a farmer and I stayed on to become a guard we lost touch over a long period of time. Who had thought I would meet him and give him the worst news ever? He said he would tell granny smith himself and that he would invite us to her funnel and that rainbow can have the same. We stayed in ponyville for the next couple of days for the funeral. Mum and dad had been living in my chambers so they were fine. The day of the funeral came. It made me think of cadences funeral and made me think back to how all this started with just 2 guards going missing! As the flowers were laid I spoke. “Applejack and Rainbow Dash gave their lives trying to save Equestia from our sun and moon goddesses. They were innocent and the princesses will not go unpunished. Today we remember that they were strong brave and Equestia heroes. They have acted in ways that support Equestia they have risen against Equestria’s biggest foes yet its Equestia leaders that killed them. We lay these flowers to show our love to show we care. Rest in peace.” The rest of the day was horrible. We took the train back to Canterlot. we left the elements behind so it was just twilight, myself and you 3 children. we stepped of the train to see dead bodies left and right as we walled thought the streets the doors were bard and there was blood and crumbling buildings left and right. I was ashamed to call this place my home. The 2 schools we evacuated were gone blown to bits. It was horrible we walked past one of the schools we couldn’t save. We saw foals, fillies and colts dead bodies or limbs. I stepped on one by accident it crunched and crumbled under my royal hoof shoes. It cracked and I took my weight of it was horrible. I covered your eyes, it’s a shame I couldn’t do the same for your siblings. “I’m going to be sick.” Poor Flurry. “Dad is this war…?” “No, this isn’t normal war Brave. This is what we call civil war, when the city/kingdom or country is fighting itself.” We kept walking and saw dead mothers, fathers. We walked down burning roads past blood covered glass. We walked past what looked like applejacks mane. Her blood covered the street. Celestia must have cut her hair off her head before blowing her body up as we walked. I told Brave and Flurry to cover their eye and for twilight to lead them. I did this because Celestia had mounted applejacks head on a spear. I hid it in the bushes with my magic and we carried on quickly to the castle. The closer we got to the castle the more blood guts and limbs we saw. My fellow guard, my friends slaughtered. I thought was there any point anymore. We quickly made our way to my chambers. Everything was still in tacked I’m glad I locked my parents in now. They were happy to see us. We all walked to the library to work out a new plan. Discovery Of DarkiceWe knew the elements didn’t work why… this was the first question that had to be answered. Twilight made a list of thing, why the elements did nothing on the princesses... Reasons the element didn’t work – - We didn’t want to hurt them so they weren’t powerful enough? - We wasn’t focused - We were going against our elements, lying, sadness… We went through everything then it came to us Celestia and Luna wasn’t using dark or evil magic but there normal magic. That’s why they didn’t take our any books because they knew we would try and use the elements. I quickly checked with the librarian and nether of the princesses had taken out any books. “So what’s our next plan…?” “We look for some spell anything to help us as this has been going on long enough." It had only been 5 days and the city was pretty much destroyed. I wondered where the princesses were. We looked for hours. Brave and Flurry got bored so they helped. After we had scanned every book in the public section and higher section we had to call it a day. It was 8pm at night and we needed to sleep we all went back to my chambers and ate. Once we ate me teleported your sibling’s beds in the room and my parents slept on them. Me, Flurry Twilly and Brave slept in my bed and you were in your cot. I locked the door with my spell and slept. I had nightmares that night on chrysalis siding with Celestia and Sombra siding with Luna. My dreams were filled with death and disruptions. I woke in a cold sweat and banning headache. After a night oatmeal breakfast mum made and you had your bottle. Read every page until I found it the book Celestia took out. It was black with purple fire dancing up the spine of the book and across the front and back. The title written I gold lettering on the spine and nowhere else. On the front was a face of a pony with a red ruby eye. Its mane held the book shut like a lock. The back was the same red eye and it mane holding the book shut. I tried to open it and it was locked. “Twilly how do you think we unlock it.” “Its eye? Or wait how about Dark magic hatred and fear.” “Okay I will try.” We left the forbidden wing. I re locked it and walked with Twilly back to where my parents where. I asked them to take the foals back to the chambers. I hugged them all and said good bye. Fearfully I would never see you again. Once gone I conjured up all my hatred and fear of the 2 princesses of watching applejack die, to the children in the schools I shot the black beam towards the book and watched as the red ruby glowed. Why is there a spell called the same thing?” I stated. “This is because shining this is the most powerful spell in this book. As I watched the captains explained that what the princesses were doing, they had done seconds before causing an explosion and blowing the throne room to pieces. I cast my gaze back to the ball as it exploded. The wave of energy blew 2 towers and the street below to smithereens. Luckily the library was far enough away that we just felt the explosion shock waves and it did very little damage to the library. I watched as Celestia seem to flee as she did Luna gave chase and they flew away into the distance. “Okay Captains, the Princesses have flown a bit away from the city. We must warn everyone to take cover and stay inside.” They both looked scared. Then it dawned on me the whole celestial army was against the Luna army which left us on our own… “I understand get to your princesses’ sides and do as ordered. We will fix this!” I said and they galloped away. This left me, your auntie and you foals vulnerable. We took you to the basement of the castle where I prayed you would be safe. I left you with 2 maids and placed my shield around the 5 of you just in case. Twilly and I went back to the library. We agree that we needed to get the elements and stop this. Twilly went by train to fetch the elements while I went to the armies to make sure everyone was aware this would end before it properly had begun but as I finished talking to Lightening flash and was talking to Silver moon, Both Princesses returned and ordered their armies to fight each other. I teleported myself up to the library so I didn’t have to watch as ponies, the solders I had trained were slaughtered over something, no one actually knew… I went to the higher level section of the library to see it there was any spells. I could use to halt this madness until Twilly came back I didn’t want innocent ponies dying because of an unknown cause. I thought of your mother, what she would do in this situation. It didn’t help it just made me want to get you 3. I took a glimpse outside at the damage and destruction and decided I couldn’t leave you 3 to hear this and be alone. I teleported down to the basement got you 3 with the maids and teleported all 6 of us to the library. I looked outside to see half of the castle destroyed. Most of the expensive homes were destroyed. The Destruction Of GoddessesWhile the elements spoke. I took a look out of the window and saw the battle raging. The sisters were pretty evenly matched so they seemed to be striking down what the other had created. Celestia in a fit of rage struck a school that supported Luna with a banner it was outside the school as she struck it the place exploded; it was Tuesday at about noon. This meant that there would be hundreds of little foals learning in there… I looked away at my children and thought how the parents would feel. When they came out to see the school gone at their foals dead. I felt awful and I felt for the mothers and fathers who had birthed them, cared for them for them to die in a place that should be safe… Once Luna saw this she did the same… Twilly came over and looked out to see Luna striking Celestia’s school for gifted unicorns. She gasped and stumbled back in shock. Another at least hundred foals dead in a blink of an eye. I thought back to the day that Twilly was excepted she was 5 years old… the schools went up to the ages of 12 I believe so foals, fillies and colts from the age of 5 to the age of 12 where all killed hundreds. I look to Twilly and we decided, we had to evacuate the other foals and minor ponies out of the city. I told Twilly to get a list of every foal, filly and colt with their addresses. I called the station and ordered them to have a train as many carriages long as possible ready to depart for ponyville at 1.30pm and it was reserved for schools only. We both agreed and each hurried to the last 2 school house standing… they would be struck soon as they were opposites again. 1 of them was Luna’s doing the other was Celestia. We both agreed to meet at the station with the foals. Dash and Applejack came with me to Celestia’s school while Twilly, Fluttershy, Rarity and pinkie pie went to Luna’s. We galloped as fast as possible while dash flew. We reached the school to see the children outside in the playground another explosion sent another tower down off the castle crushing anything in it path. The ground shock and it made some of the foals scream. I asked of the head teacher and told her every foal had to get out of here. The ‘war’ had only been going about 45 minutes at this rate they would wipe out the city within the day!! We carefully escorted the foals and teachers to the station. I asked for a list of every foal and their address. I sent every foal’s address a scroll saying. Dear sir or ma’am, I Prince Shining Armor am ordering you to come to Canterlot station the minute you get this. The school your foal/s was at were in great danger so I have escorted them to the station ready to be evaluated to the nearest town ponyville. The train will leave at 1.30pm if you are reading this after that time them please come to Canterlot library. We will have sent the foals and you will be informed of the situation. We will have sent the children with their teachers and the foals have been told they are going to a field trip. All the foals will be reunited with you parent in ponyville. I’m sorry for the in convince but this is for their safety as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna have gone to war against each other. Thank you Prince Shining Armor. We safely got to the train station and met Twilly with hundreds of foals, fillies and colts. It was 1pm some parents had started to arrive. Twilly gave me the list as she organised all the children with the teachers and reunited each parent/family and sent them on the train while I sent all the same scrolls. Once all the parents/families where on the train the foals without parents was sent on with their head teachers. The train set off at 2pm the 7 of us went back to the library where my parents where looking after you 3. We then opened the public entrance and my parents, helped inform where there foals were while the 7 of us sorted out this mess. So our plan of attack was simple. I was going to distract 1 of the sisters, while the elements used their power on the other and then the elements would strike the other sister. We was ready, the plan was set…
Safety? Or Not....“Did it work?” “Well…” **** We trotted to the middle of the battle luckily for me Celestia was on the ground so I rushed over to her a shielded her from Luna’s blast. The elements got into formatting and they started to float. Celestia watched with a smile. Thinking we were on her side. She stood and accepted my help to her hoofs. Luna watched helplessly as the rainbow beam flew straight for her as I did she focused her magic a blasted the beam. She tried hard but it was ultimately too much she lost her magic beam and was hit. She went flying thought the air and crashed straight in to a building causing it to crumble in on top of her. The elements then were placed back on the ground as we looked in confusion. She hadn’t been banished to the moon. I fact about a minute later she walked out of the rubble completely unharmed! She looked at the elements and in rage shot a beam at them. I shield them from the beam and Luna looked at me standing with Celestia in the shield bubble. She then shot a beam at Celestia and me as she did I dissipated the shield and teleported to the elements. I left Celestia unprotect and the beam collided with her but again she was fine a few feathers fell out but they were both fine. Celestia shot a beam at Luna and I covered Luna with a shield and stood next to her allowing the elements to try the power on her instead. Even getting rid of one of the princesses we would have benefited as we could over power the other with numbers. Again the rainbow beam connected to Celestia made her go flying but she recovered in the air and hovered there. Once the beam had gone I we was aware the princesses understood what we had tried to do and that we was against them both. They didn’t look happy so we all made a gallop for it. Celestia and Luna aimed and fired many beams of magic at us and eventually the hit there marks. Rainbow was flying above me as I looked up I watched (It was like I was watching in slow motion) as Lunas blue beam of magic hit rainbow. She fell of the sky and in front of me a bit I stopped dead. I was frozen. I couldn’t move I was in shock and fear. I managed to get myself to walk to rainbow as I did I saw the damage her wing was clean off no- where to be seen just her bone sticking out of her back. She was lying on her back how she fell. I checked her pulse she was still alive. I looked up to see Luna starring straight at me, I shield us but the bolt of magic was so powerful it blew me a few feet away. Stunted I watched as she destroyed Rainbow dash with an explosion of magic I heard Twilight scream as she watched her friend be blown to smithereens. Blood, guts and bone flew in every direction as her body was blown up. I looked up to see the horrify grin of Luna’s face. She landed walking towards me. I was shaking in fear. I stood to meet her gaze as she shot a beam at me I blocked it and shield myself. We then heard a scream from Fluttershy. This had Luna’s full attention and she flew to see what had happened I trotted to her side as I did. Rarity, Twilly and pinkie all came close I place a stable shield up around the 5 of us. She pointed to Applejack. Applejack was trying to walk, she was weak. I went to help her as I went to gallop; I saw a beam shoot down at Applejacks back. A crack was herd as the shot fractured her back legs and the bottom of her spine by her tale. Celestia hit made her unable to walk. She picked her front legs up as If she was walking but in fact only her front legs worked. Her back ones, she didn’t realise she couldn’t feel them. Celestia landed behind applejack furious and angry she landed on applejacks hind legs snapping them further. Applejack didn’t react, I was glad she didn’t know Celestia was behind her. I froze as I caught Celestia’s gaze of hated and bloodlust. Fluttershy was huddled into me shaking. Twilly was begging for Celestia to spare her. I had seen war before but nothing could describe this feeling. I had watched ponies die. It was hard but to see someone I trusted turn in to a monster and kill ponies who were trying to help the situation for the better of Equestia. It was wrong on so many levels. We watched as Celestia grasped applejacks hind legs and tale and rip them from applejacks upper half. Twilly looked away and pinkie and rarity screamed. Applejack looked at us with fear and confusion. She then looked where her bottom should have been to find it in Celestia magical grasp. She let out a bloodcurdling scream. I told her we were sorry and that we couldn’t help. I told her I was going to end it for her quickly. She nodded looking at me with tear stained checks. “We will avenge yours and rainbows death I promise.” I said, before I took a sword one of the guards had dropped and cut her throat. Ending her suffering and making Celestia even angrier. I teleported us out of there to library covered in spots of blood. “All the parents of the foals have gone to ponyville and everyone is accounted for? Were you successful?” As my mother said that we heard another loud explosion. “If that’s no indication then No we failed and now 2 of the elements are dead…” I trailed off. “We need a new plan…” Twilly stated “Oh, shining dear, I have the girls’ necklaces what should we do with them?” "What will we do without the elements?" pinkie pie said with the worst expression ever. Not happy and cheerful but sad, depressed and her hair seemed deflated. "Without the element bearers they are no use, the families can have them.as a token of bravery…" As I said that the elements began to glow and they merged into a golden band with both elements being stars. Wait… what. What just happened…Twilly? "I’m not sure, when we became the bearers of the elements they shifted in to necklaces for the cutie mark of that bearer these don’t match any of us bearers, what about your children…" “My children? Brave has a sword and flurry’s looks like the crystal heart with a snow flack behind it no stars anywhere and Skyla doesn’t have one.” “Darling could it be you… you have stars above your shield and you’re loyal. You were the one telling us to get those foals to safety.” Rarity suggested. “Yes brother and even thought you knew we didn’t want to know. You told us that you thought the advisers were against us and they didn’t do anything.” “Wait you think I’m the elements of loyalty and honesty?” “We can only try girls formation.” I place the necklace on with both stars. I stood with the girls and sure enough the necklace linked in a rainbow and then diapered. “It worked we can go and get those princesses now.” Twilly doesn’t think some times. “No Twilly going out there after what just happened is suicide we need the upper hand. We need another plan… but at least we have the elements.”
The Loss Of Innocence The Loss Of Innocence We had to tell the families of rainbow and applejack that they had died. We deicide we would get a train to ponyville. We got on the train. Everyone was silent and sad it seemed as though the train took for ever. When we arrive twilight took us to the castle. We walked in to see spike it was nice to see him. “Fluttershy can you go to rainbows parents and ask them to come to the library so I can talk to them, please.” “I would but I don’t know her parents… “Does anyone know her parents?” I didn’t get an answer. “Okay well at least we can tell applejacks family…” I walked with the elements to the farm. Fluttershy and spike stayed at the library to look after your siblings but I took you with us… as we walked in under the arch I saw him… **** “Saw who dad?” “An old cadet…” "His name was big mac I remembered him from the cadets. We were partners, roommates and best friends for months. It was about a month before we would be royal guards when he got the scroll that his parents had died and his sister and gran needed his help. He became a farmer and I stayed on to become a guard we lost touch over a long period of time. Who had thought I would meet him and give him the worst news ever? Once all the chatter was over he asked why we were here without applejack and rainbow. I let the rest walk out so it was just me and him. I told him that applejack had given her life to try and save Equestia he was heartbroken. I told him that there was nothing Celestia spared, no body. Nothing. He said he would tell granny smith himself and that he would invite us to her funnel and that rainbow can have the same. We stayed in ponyville for the next couple of days for the funeral. Mum and dad had been living in my chambers so they were fine. The day of the funeral came. It made me think of cadences funeral and made me think back to how all this started with just 2 guards going missing! As the flowers were laid I spoke. “Applejack and Rainbow Dash gave their lives trying to save Equestia from our sun and moon goddesses. They were innocent and the princesses will not go unpunished. Today we remember that they were strong brave and Equestia heroes. They have acted in ways that support Equestia they have risen against Equestria’s biggest foes yet its Equestia leaders that killed them. We lay these flowers to show our love to show we care. Rest in peace.” The rest of the day was horrible. We took the train back to Canterlot. we left the elements behind so it was just twilight, myself and you 3 children. we stepped of the train to see dead bodies left and right as we walled thought the streets the doors were bard and there was blood and crumbling buildings left and right. I was ashamed to call this place my home. The 2 schools we evacuated were gone blown to bits. It was horrible we walked past one of the schools we couldn’t save. We saw foals, fillies and colts dead bodies or limbs. I stepped on one by accident it crunched and crumbled under my royal hoof shoes. It cracked and I took my weight of it was horrible. I covered your eyes, it’s a shame I couldn’t do the same for your siblings. “I’m going to be sick.” Poor Flurry. “Dad is this war…?” “No, this isn’t normal war Brave. This is what we call civil war, when the city/kingdom or country is fighting itself.” We kept walking and saw dead mothers, fathers. We walked down burning roads past blood covered glass. We walked past what looked like applejacks mane. Her blood covered the street. Celestia must have cut her hair off her head before blowing her body up as we walked. I told Brave and Flurry to cover their eye and for twilight to lead them. I did this because Celestia had mounted applejacks head on a spear. I hid it in the bushes with my magic and we carried on quickly to the castle. The closer we got to the castle the more blood guts and limbs we saw. My fellow guard, my friends slaughtered. I thought was there any point anymore. We quickly made our way to my chambers. Everything was still in tacked I’m glad I locked my parents in now. They were happy to see us. We all walked to the library to work out a new plan.
Discovery Of DarkiceWe knew the elements didn’t work why… this was the first question that had to be answered. Twilight made a list of thing, why the elements did nothing on the princesses... Reasons the element didn’t work – - We didn’t want to hurt them so they weren’t powerful enough? - We wasn’t focused - We were going against our elements, lying, sadness… We went through everything then it came to us Celestia and Luna wasn’t using dark or evil magic but there normal magic. That’s why they didn’t take our any books because they knew we would try and use the elements. I quickly checked with the librarian and nether of the princesses had taken out any books. “So what’s our next plan…?” “We look for some spell anything to help us as this has been going on long enough." It had only been 5 days and the city was pretty much destroyed. I wondered where the princesses were. We looked for hours. Brave and Flurry got bored so they helped. After we had scanned every book in the public section and higher section we had to call it a day. It was 8pm at night and we needed to sleep we all went back to my chambers and ate. Once we ate me teleported your sibling’s beds in the room and my parents slept on them. Me, Flurry Twilly and Brave slept in my bed and you were in your cot. I locked the door with my spell and slept. I had nightmares that night on chrysalis siding with Celestia and Sombra siding with Luna. My dreams were filled with death and disruptions. I woke in a cold sweat and banning headache. After a night oatmeal breakfast mum made and you had your bottle. We walked back to the Library. “Today’s plan BBBff?” “We have only one option…” “What?” Twilly questioned. “We are going to have to read the dark magic books.” “No that is against the law!” Twilly screamed. “LAW! What LAW sis we are at war and those books is the only thing that is going to save Equestia!” I shouted. “If you cast any of those spells you will be corrupted. Shine think of your children!” “I am! If we don’t do anything, the sisters are eventually going to come in that door and kill us all!” “But…We will..?” “No Twilly you will not, I will cast the spell. All you have to do is read the books.” “But what if you become like Sombra?” “You kill me before that happens…” “I can’t! Your children!” “My children understand why I’m doing this…” “But Skyla…” “Look if I’m correct Celestia has used it and she is…was fine. All I have to do I remember why I’m doing this. I should be fine.” “Okay let’s go through them.” We walked to the librarian. “Can you take us to the prohibited wing please?” She bowed. “Of course your highnesses follow me” we followed. “Though this door, but I cannot help you. Even I’m not allowed to read what’s inside which is why it’s sealed.” “Thank you.” She bowed and trotted back to her desk. I placed my horn in the hole and cast my signature spell the door unlocked. **** “Dad what’s a signature spell?” "Well it shows who you are like your DNA. It’s just so if you need to show who you are as a Unicorn or Alicorn you can with a spell instead of giving over blood like Pegasus and Earthponies do." “Oh okay…so it’s like giving blood but you don’t have to. I get it” **** Once in I placed a field around the door so you 3 children couldn’t get in but could see us. “What are we looking for exactly?” “Either a banishing spell, a magic cut off spell like Sombra emery crystals or what I really want to find is that book Celestia took out. 5 years go just before Luna’s return I want to know why she wanted it.” Okay, so banishments crystals and what was the book called…” “’The call of Darkice’ I believe sis.” We started scanning each and every book. Read every page until I found it the book Celestia took out. It was black with purple fire dancing up the spine of the book and across the front and back. The title written I gold lettering on the spine and nowhere else. On the front was a face of a pony with a red ruby eye. Its mane held the book shut like a lock. The back was the same red eye and it mane holding the book shut. I tried to open it and it was locked. “Twilly how do you think we unlock it.” “Its eye? Or wait how about Dark magic hatred and fear.” “Okay I will try.” We left the forbidden wing. I re locked it and walked with Twilly back to where my parents where. I asked them to take the foals back to the chambers. I hugged them all and said good bye. Fearfully I would never see you again. Once gone I conjured up all my hatred and fear of the 2 princesses of watching applejack die, to the children in the schools I shot the black beam towards the book and watched as the red ruby glowed. We heard a voice. “Who wishes to look into my book state your name…” “I Prince Shining Armor wish to read your book?” “Royalty?! Well of course but why?” "I am Princess Celestia’s nephew and wish to know why she read this book. I also need a spell to banish or depower 2 powerful Alicorns. I believe we need your help…” “We? But he didn’t heed my warning…Anyway is there something you’re looking for pacifically?” “Yes I need a spell to over power the 2 princess Alicorns at the same time. Do you have something?” “Yes I do here.” The book comes out of my magical grasp hovering as the pages flick. The pages land on a spell called ‘The call of Darkice’. “This is the books title. Why is there a spell called the same thing?” I stated. “This is because shining this is the most powerful spell in this book. Once I wrote the book I needed a title so I thought I would call it after the spell that was the most powerful." “Wait you wrote the book!! How are you in it!?” twilly asked. “Once the book was written I shelved it. Thousands of years later my body was about to turn into dust with the last of my strength I cast a spell to place my spirt in the book and I have been here ever since. Little did I know I would be locked in a room for thousands of years? Thanks to that white alicorn…this is the first time I have spoken to anyone since Sombra. Before you ask, No I wouldn’t speak to that white alicorn. She opened it one time I spoke to her she said that the book was unsafe and locked me away...
