The adventures of a Tenno
“Come On Girls! I haven’t been this excited in ages!” A purple unicorn known as Twilight Sparkle exclaimed as she walked through the everfree with her friends.
“Um Twi what are we doing here again?” A pegasus with rainbow colored hair asked.
“Have you heard about the theory of our forerunner’s still being alive?” Twilight asked.
“Um no?” Rainbow replied.
“Well it has always been a theory but until recently a group of explorers have stumbled on a place they believe belongs to the forerunners and that’s where we’re going!” Twilight replied.
“I always thought that the forerunners has always been a bunch of pony feathers” A alabaster unicorn named Rarity spoke.
“Well why do you think that?” Twilight asked.
“If the forerunners are still alive, wouldn’t we have met them already, don’t you think?” Rarity replied.
“You may be right, and there may be reasons why they haven’t contacted us, but until we find them we can only speculate why.” Twilight answered.
Time Skip.
As the group came near their location in front of a cave. Inside they can see beautiful white floor, walls and ceiling with gold lines running across them. At the very back of the wall stood a large round gate. In the middle of a room stood a strange device with gold outlines and an engraving of a strange shape.
Twilight at her friends went inside the cave slowly approaching the strange device in the middle of the room and began to investigate said device.
“Hmmm what could this be?” Twilight asked no one in particular.
“I love the decor of it, the forerunners must have had a sense in fashion.” Rarity spoke.
As they looked around it and looked at the deactivated gate, Twilight had an idea on what the device could be.
“Oh I know what this could be! I think it’s used to open a gate especially the gate right there!” Twilight Spoke and pointed towards the deactivated gate.
“And how do we open that gate?” Rainbow asked.
“Ummm judging by the engraving at this end we need to find something that’ll fit it.” Twilight spoke.
“Okay let’s find it then! It can’t be that hard right?” Rainbow Dash spoke.
That being said each of them set out to find a object that would fit the engraving.
And true to Rainbow Dash’s words it wasn’t too hard as Pinkie Pie found it.
“Oh Oh I think I found it!!!” Pinkie pie came jumping over to the device as everyone hurried over and gathered.
“Great Pinkie! Now I think you just insert it into the engravement.” Twilight pointed to the engravement.
Once Pinkie Pie placed the object she found in the engravement. The strange device soon began to let out a hum before a golden beam shot out from the other side of the device up towards the top of the gate. And soon the gate started up and a golden like liquid started to fill the empty space within the gate creating a portal once the space has been filled.
“Wow...ummm okay let's go through and find ourselves a forerunner!” Twilight exclaimed.
The group made their way to the gate and went through it one by one soon finding them some place different.
They found themselves in a room that once looked pristine and elegant, but now it was just worn down as some weird type of plantation grew from a wall.
As they went down a short set of stairs, they looked around in wonder trying to imagine how this place would look like in the day when everything was maintained.
As the group walked further as pinkie pie stepped on a pressure pad.
“Um girls I think I might just have stepped on a pressure pad” pinkie pie spoke.
“Um...um we have no idea what kind of traps they could have put out so lets wait and see what happens.” Twilight spoke.
They soon spotted are oval like object that hung on a golden wall that hung from the roof, let steam out and opened up, letting a body fall out.
Watching the body fall to the ground life less got the group both excited and sad. Excited because they found a forerunner, but sad because it wasn’t alive.
“Oh my gosh! Pinkie pie you just found us a forerunner!” Twilight screamed.
“Um sorry to break it Twi but I think it’s…dead” Rainbow spoke.
‘Sigh’ “Seems so, well what do we do now give it a burial?” Twilight asked.
“Well we can’t let it be here” a orange girl with a blond mane spoke.
“Alright Applejack let’s give it a bur..” Twilight was about to finish as she felt a hand placed on her shoulder, shaking her slightly. “Sorry to interrupt, but I don’t think it’s dead” Rarity spoke.
Setting her eyes back on the forerunner she saw it was flashing blue and red?
“Um why is it flashing blue and red?” Rainbow asked.
“I do not know, but i’m sensing incredible amount of magical power coming from it, it’s oozing out way more than what we can see from Princess Celestia.” Twilight said.
“You're saying that this forerunner is stronger that the Celestia herself?” Rainbow replied.
“Very much so” Twilight continued to eye the forerunner as it got itself on all fours trying to stand up.
After a few minutes it finally go up on it’s two legs.
Going up to the fore runner Twilight spoke “Greetings forerunner, I’m Twilight Sparkle student of Princess Celestia.”
Rhino’s Pov.
I slowly got by senses as I woke, trying to get up on my two legs I heard many voices in front of me. After a while I was more awake and was able to stand up fully on my two legs even a bit unstable for now. Then I saw a group of humanoid horses standing a few feet away, the next weirdest part they where speaking english!
Then a purple colored hose person came up to me and spoke “Greetings forerunner, I’m Twilight Sparkle student of Princess Celestia.”
Forerunner? Me? Ha! Wait how long was I asleep again?
“Um Twi not to be rude or anything but I don’t think it understands us” one of the others in the group spoke.
Well time to amaze them then. “Greeting Miss Twilight Sparkle, I am Rhino, may I know why you have come?”
I watched them as they looked surprised that I could understand and speak their language.
“Um we always wanted to find a forerunner.” Twilight spoke.
I Wonder how earth looks like now? “Well you did find something, what are your intentions?”
Looking to the left and right as she was looking for someone or something Twilight spoke.
“ Well we don’t really have any intention maybe getting to know more about you and your kind?”
Hmm I guess I could do as they wish to an extent. “Quite curious aren’t you? Very well then.”
Hearing this she grew a smile that should have been impossible to do. “You do! Let's get back to the library!” She spoke before grabbing my hand to pull me through the portal.
Stopping her gaining a questionable look from her. “Why have you stopped? We need to get back to the library.”
“I do need to get my things, since I do or might need them.” I spoke pulling my hand free from her grasp.
“Oh sorry…” Not seeing twilight blush I went over to the crates that stood by the wall to the right.
Standing over the crates, noticing that nothing has changed during my slumber.
Opening the first crate was a 2 meter long heavy sword, my trusty Galatine prime.
In the second was a shotgun that held untold power, the Tigris Prime, the third crate held two sub machine guns the aksomati that I used as a secondary and finally the last crate held my cape which was Izvara cape.
Once I got all my weapons and my cape equipped I went back over to Twilight. “I am ready.”
“Great! Let’s get our way to ponyville!” Twilight spoke with a smile on his face.
The six and I exited the gate and as we passed the device that held the gate open, I reached and took the key out of it’s place shutting the gate down.
Exiting the cave I diverted from the six and went in another direction to find my ship, it is hidden behind the vegetation but I knew where it stood. The six that found me took notice in my sudden change of direction and asked. “Um Mister Ponyville is this way.” AppleJack asked.
Without looking back I answered “Walking by foot takes too long plus I have a ship I would like to bring with me.”
Without some confusion within the group they followed.
The walk was short as we made it to the outcropping where my Liset stood. It wasn’t anything spectacular for me, but the the other six their mind was blown away.
“Ordis Start up the liset, we have guests as well.” I spoke through my coms.
As lights started to flicker on around the liset a friendly voice spoke through the com system. “Operator is that you? Have you finally woken up from your second slumber?”
“Yes Ordis I did and thanks to the six here.” Gesturing the the six natives.
The six coming out of their shock wondered who I was talking to. “Um mister Rhino who are you talking too?” Twilight asked.
“I am speaking to Ordis lady Sparkle.” I spoke.
Even more confused, she asked “Who is this Ordis?”
“My A.I. which stands for Artificial intelligence, who basically is my ship and anything mechanical I own.” I replied.
Once Ordis got my liset started up we were allowed in as a part of my liset’s side opened up and a ramp came down.
Leting the six in first was quite something to see as they gawked at the interior of my ship.
“Impressive isn’t it?” I spoke.
Receiving nods from all six, “It’s amazing… amazing at what your kind is capable of.” Twilight spoke.
“And were capable of more than just building a ship but some things is best left untouched, any ways which direction is this ponyville?” I asked.
Pointing directly north, Twilight spoke. “In that direction forerunner.”
Nodding I spoke “Ordis take us up and head directly north of our location”
Ordis at once got to starting the ship up, rising up and heading north.
Turning to face the natives “All right we got some time for some questions, who wants to go first?”
Seeing a purple hand immediately rise, which belonged to Lady Sparkle. “Yes miss Sparkle?”
“Oh um...I’m wondering is that armor your wearing? Or your actual body?” Twilight asked.
Smiling internally I spoke. “Good question! It’s also a bit complicated, well this isn’t my real body. You could say this is a surrogate that I’m in control of since it’s a biomechanical body, and i’m able to do so due to my void powers that I possess.”
“Huh wow…” Twilight spoke.
Seeing another hand rize, this one being cyan in color. “Yes miss Dash?”
“Um why aren’t you using your actual body?” Lady Dash asked.
“Hmmm well the reason i’m using this body is because my own body is unstable due to the void powers I possess, and this body is more well suited to hold these powers.” I answered.
Seeing another hoof rise up this one being pink. “Yes miss Pie?” I spoke.
As I said that she came up close to my face so we were millimeters apart. “HI! DOYOULIKEPARTIES?!? WHAT’SYOURFAVORITECAKE?CHOCOLATE,VANILLA?” after that assault of words she jumped back towards her friends. “Oh just call me Pinkie.”
Standing there stunned after the ordeal I snapped out of it. “Uhhh what??”
“Um sorry about that Mr Rhino, Pinkie here get’s excited when she meets new people.” Twilight spoke as she rubbed the back of her head with the palm of her hand.
“It’s all right, she just caught me off guard, which is quite a feat to do.” I spoke.
“Sir we have arrived where do you want me to land?” Ordis spoke.
“One sec Ordis,” Turning to Twilight I spoke. “Lady Twilight we have arrived, where could I land?”
“Umm over there in the field by my house which is a big three.” She said as she pointed at a large tree.
Ordis acknowledged this and landed near the large tree.
“Hey! You haven’t answered my question!” Pinkie spoke as she popped up in front of me as she held my shoulders.
Smiling, even though they couldn’t see it I spoke “Sorry Pinky, well I do enjoy parties from time to time, and uhh I’m not sure about what’s my favorite cake that I like.”
“Well I got to prepare a party!!!” Pinkie said as she jumped up and down like a small excited filly.
“Well I can’t wait to see Ponyville for myself!” I said as a ramp lowered and led down to a patch of grass and a town. The girls were the first to exit and soon after I followed. Once outside I saw a crowd has gathered and while they haven’t noticed me yet since they were asking the six girls questions about how was their quest and that they were okay. Then they finally took noticed of me ass the crowd went silent and fingers get pointed at me. This got the attention of the girls as well.
Twilight looked at me then back towards the crowd as she waved me forward. “Ponyville as I have told you that our quest was successful, of finding a forerunner and here he is, I Introduce you Mister Rhino Prime.” Twilight spoke to the crowd before turning towards me before whispering “go say something”
Nodding I stepped forward and spoke. “Dear residents of Ponyville, I am honored to be here and to be woken by the six girls that stand behind me, I assure you I mean no harm, as there is no honor to killing innocent and defenceless lives, I only wish that we can get to know each other and prosper as we grow our friendship and spread peace together!” Hearing this got the residents to calm down and relax.
Twilight came up to my side and spoke once again to the crowd. “Right Pinkie’s holding a party for our new comer in town on this coming friday, where you can ask him questions and get to know him better, now it’s about time you all get back to what you were doing.”
As the crowd dispersed and went back to what they were doing Twilight turned to face me. “I have sent a letter to Princess Celestia about you and that she should get here as soon she can, but knowing her she’s already inside the library. We should get going if you would like to follow me inside please?” She asked.
“I’d gladly do, miss Twilight” I spoke before she turned around and went to the front door of the library.
Opening the door she went in, followed by her friends and me. Once inside I saw books and books on multiple rows on both walls of Twilight’s house, this immediately struck me to be a Library, but I couldn’t be sure. I also saw a desk to the side with and inkwell with a quill and a candle, a chair next to the desk. Behind the desk was a staircase that led up to a second floor ending at a door. There was another door on the ground floor about two meters away from the staircase on the far side of the room. Four meters away from the door on the right wall was another set of stairs that led down to what I assumed was a basement.
“Miss Twilight do you live in a Library?” I asked.
Smiling she replied “ Oh yes I do, being a student makes this one of the best homes I could get.”
“A student? If I may who are you student too?” I asked.
“Princess Celestia!, and speaking of her she’ll be here soon so while we wait do you want some tea?” Twilight responded.
Before responding I went over to the left book shelf and turn my back to the wall and exited my warframe revealing my actual body. “I would be honored” I replied.
“Um I thought you said that your actual body is unstable?” Miss Apple asked.
“That is true but nothing will happen for a day or so there isn’t any worries.” I replied.
Twilight soon returned with a tray of cups of tea. Once she saw me out of the warframe she stared and said “Huh so that’s how you’re actual body looks like.” Before she came over and gave me a cup of tea.
“Thank you miss Twilight” I replied before taking a sip. The taste of the tea was wonderful since if so long I had a good beverage. I heard giggling from the girls.
“Uh what did I miss?” I asked.
“We're so sorry Mister Rhino it’s just your face was so priceless.” Rarity spoke.
“It’s quite alright, it’s just I haven't had a good refreshment in ages.”I Replied.
“Why is that? I’m sure that you nation has refreshment?” Rarity asked.
“Well we did until the war.” I responded.
Before anyone could respond there was several knocks on the door. “That must be the Princess!” Twilight spoke as she went to open the door.
Once the door in came a pure white with a rainbow hair and tail that was waving in a nonexistent breeze. A horn on her forehead and a huge pair of wings tucked in, on her back. As she stood near the others I definitely saw that she stood at least about a foot taller than anyone else in the room. She wore an elegant white dress with golden trimmings, a crown on her head, a necklace, and golden shoes. She also had the most wonderful eyes.
Coming to notice the other six that found me had their own differences Twilight being purple in fur color and for her mane a darker shade of purple with a pink stripe going down it. She wore a blue T-shirt and blue jeans. She also had glasses, black shoes and she had a horn on her head.
Next came Rarity she too had a horn, her fur was almost as pure white as celestia, had a slightly lighter shade of Twilight’s hair color for her hair. She wore makeup wearing, a nice dress which was amazingly made. “Could she be a noble?” I thought She also wore a nice pair of black high heels.
Then there was Miss pinkie, well there wasn’t much to say she was completely pink from her hair to her clothes and her shoes. Everything was pink, except that mark on her hips. Coming to think of it everyone has a mark but different. Pinkie didn’t have a horn nore wings. “Are there different race of the natives here?” I thought.
Next was Rainbow Dash, her fur was cyan, she also had rainbow hair which wasn’t flowing and wasn’t as elegantly set like the others but it fits her. She wore a white tank top with jogging trousers and jogging shoes on. She had wings tucked together on her back.
Next was Applejack her fur is orange with golden blond hair which is tied into a bun at the end. She wore a red checkered shirt with light blue jeans that wore torn in places She didn’t have any of the special features like Rainbow or Twilight does.
Then came one of the most shyest people i’ve met, Miss Fluttershy her fur was a bright cream yellow, for her hair it was pink. She wore a bright blue t-shirt and a matching skirt.
When the six girls greeted the princess, she came over to me, as we stood in front of each other at equal eye level. “I assume you’re the forerunner?”
Bowing I spoke “That would be correct princess, I am known as Rhino of the Tenno order”.
Smiling she bowed back “Greetings Rhino, I am Princess Celestia, although you probably already knew that I welcome you to my nation. But I would like to have a private talk, is it alright with you?” She asked.
Nodding was the answer what she needed as she casted some sort of bubble around us as we floated within it. “Um Princess if I may what did you do?”
She looked at me like I had grown two heads before speaking. “This is a sound prevention spell, do you not know about magic?”
“Well we didn’t have magic when the empire was around until the end of the war some of got void powers which are us Tenno who are able to wield this immense power even though it comes with huge drawbacks.” I spoke.
She raised an eyebrow as she heard the power of we tenno held. “This void power is it possible to get a demonstration of this?” She spoke.
“Possibly at a later date, but let's get to business there must be a reason why you wanted to speak to me privately.” I stated.
Nodding she spoke “You are correct, as a leader of a nation I must keep my subjects safe. Now the question is now that you are free and awake, what are your intentions?”
Smiling I spoke “I understand completely, I assure you I mean no harm to your subjects, I am honor bound, and so are my other tenno brethren. I can also back this up that we fought for peace and to liberate the system from the tyranny of the Grineer and from the greed of the Corpus.”
Hearing this brought some relief to her as she brought a smile to her face. “I see but i’ll still need to keep an eye on you, so I won’t force anything on you but I would like to keep you under the supervision of the elements.” She spoke.
“That is completely fine with me, but if I may who are the elements?” I asked looking confused.
Letting out a chuckle she spoke “The six that found you, now I need to get back to my duties.”
Nodding in understanding she went over to Twilight and the girls and talked to them about what was going to happen, after that we all waved her off.
Once the door was closed and Princess Celestia was gone I was brought out of my thoughts by a cough. Turning around I found the six waiting for me. “Do you have a place to stay? If not then you can stay here with me! I got so many questions!”
Smiling I responded “I thank you for your offer but I must decline I would rather reside within my ship, but I’m sure we can find the time to answer all the questions you all have.”
Nodding in agreement she spoke “Ok if that is what you want could we maybe have the questioning tomorrow at nine in the morning?”
“That is perfectly fine, now I must go it’s getting late, even though I might not get to sleep due to my time of being in stasis, I’m sure you six need your sleep.”
This got all of them to check the time and it was indeed late, so we all said our farewells and left.
