The Changing paths of elements

Dialogue

Older Celestia:"I..Suppose..your wondering..why am I telling this?...or what am I talking about.. and to why it even matters what an old alicorn like me has to say..I guess to answer that question is..its all about how my friendship...broke..and all of it...felt like it was my own fault for causing my own dear friends to drift away from me..so here goes nothing, but my dear subjects please..just remember not every tale always ends in a happy ending.

Older Celestia:"Once upon a time thousands of years ago there was a group of friends, two of course sisters who brought out the sun and moon each and every night..while the other four often brought joy and harmony to the land protecting equestria that was oh so dear to them..they had thought that their friendship would never end but they were wrong...and so blind for what was too come..

Chapter 1:

•Pacing constantly, young Luna would be talking to her self in a very irritated manner•

Young Luna:"Where are they? They should be here already by now sister..how long must we wait the ceremony is about to begin and their not even here yet"

•Young Celestia would let out a slight chuckle at her sister who was being to impatient•

Young Celestia:"Dear sister be patient the ceremony doesn't begin till 15 minutes from now give them time they'll be here just be patient Luna remember I've never-

•Young Celestia would be cut off from Luna interrupting her•

Young Luna:"I know..I know you always say I've never doubted them before and I never will but that's just it what if they don't make it this time, what if..what if discord got distracted and tried throwing a party in town square?! A-And forgot about the ceremony?! W-which distracted the others from coming and-•Young Celestia would interrupt Luna, speaking in a very calming manner•

Young Celestia:"Luna dear sister calm down your thinking about it too much."

Young Luna:"But I..it's just I don't know it's hard to say."

Young Celestia:"Whys that's?..Luna do you not trust our friends?.."

Young Luna:"What?! N-No no dear sister it's not that.."

Young Celestia:"Then what is it Luna, you can tell me."

Young Luna:"Its just that its-

•Young Luna would get interrupted by a Pegasus stallion shouting as he walked in with three other ponies behind him•

Young Discord/non Draconequus:

"WERE HERE!"

•Young Discord sang at the top of his lungs with joy•

•Delirium would look at discord with an annoyed look•

Young Delirium:"Is it really necessary to do that Discord?"

Young discord:"It is when your me."

•Discord would give a mischievous grin towards Delirium to taunt her as he placed his hoof on his chest being too full of him self•

Young Delirium:"Your unbelievable  sometimes Discord."

Young Discord:"Its my specialty Delirium"

Young chrysalis:"Eheh lets not fight besides the ceremony is suppose to start guys now let's hurry otherwise star swirled might end up giving us a lecture last time we almost missed the ceremony."

Young Celestia:"Chrysalis is right we better get going."

•all six ponies began to walk out of the room together while Luna stayed in the back of the group eyeing Delirium with concern and trotted to her sisters side and whispered into her sisters ear while they walked•

Young Luna:"Sister..don't you think..Deliriums been acting well strange lately?.."

Young Celestia:"Strange?..How so Luna?"

Young Luna:"I mean haven't you even bothered to look at the elements lately mainly at the element of oh I don't know loyalty?!"

•Luna whispered with an annoyed tone as she pinned her ears back forcefully•

Young Celestia:"No I haven't Luna not recently due tell what you saw"

Young Luna:"Well dear sister I-I noticed it last night after I had risen the moon and was just taking a small walk along the castle and..When I nearly passed the room that held the elements of harmony I had seen the door was open and thought I must of forgotten to close it or a guard had just left the room so when I walked in..and I was close enough to see the elements I..noticed that..the element of loyalty..seemed to look grey for some reason even I haven't a clue and I hadn't told star swirled cause even he him self probably wouldn't know..oh dear sister I'm worried something bad is about to happen.."

Young Celestia:"Grey?...that's very unsual..for the elements and does thou think that Delirium might be the cause of it?"

•Celestia would raise an eyebrow, looking a her sister•

Young Luna:"Yes..I well..sort of..but sister what if..what if the elements don't just bring harmony and reform creatures or ponies from their wrongful ways what if..the elements aren't safe?.."

Young Celestia:"Luna I'll talk to star swirled about this just in case to ease your worry if that'll get your mind off these thoughts."

Young Luna:"But sister they..they aren't thoughts...oh you never listen sometimes.."

•Luna had said those last words after Celestia was a bit further ahead far enough to where she wouldn't be able to hear Luna•

Young Discord/non draconequus:

"Ohh this is gonna be a blast I'll be sure too-

•Discord would get cut off by Sombra who stopped him in mid-sentence•

Young Sombra:"Don't even dare think about it Discord remember last time?"

Young Discord/non draconequus:

"Hey! I wasn't the one who started throwing sodas knocking out half the crowd last year I take that as an offense where's your lawyer for this dispute?"

•Young Sombra would roll his eyes at Discord completely unamused•

Young Sombra:"Dispute? This isn't even a dispute it's a fact!"

Young Discord:"Nah it was just some mare probably in the crowd mad at me for who knows what maybe it was for changing one of those ponies shampoo with peanut butter"

Young Sombra:"Oh yes it's a complete mystery to why she'd be mad"

Young Discord:"Oh yes indeed shall we figure it out I'll get the magnifying glass for this and Luna can be our dog that saids Sombra in a scared voice ohh perfect I'll get the van"

Young Sombra:"Lets not"

Young Discord:"Oh your no fun"

Young Luna:"Wait hey! Why do I get to be the dog?"

Delirium:"Hush were just right around the corner to the ceremony."

Young Luna:"Fine"

•Luna would groan•

•They'd all walk on to the balcony to greet star swirled•

Star swirled:"Glad to see you all made it"

•Celestia would walk to the railing of the balcony and speak with pride while Luna folded her ears back again looking at her sister as she stood near star swirled•

Young Celestia:"Dearest subjects I'm proud to announce that the summer sun celebration will begin straight away..Discord would you like to do the honors."

Young Discord:"Oh would I ever I thought you'd never ask cause I was just getting ready to have tea with philomena."

Young Celestia:"Discord!"

•Celestia had said harshly•

Young Discord:"Alright alright."

•Discord would get out his fire work launcher out of no where spreading his wings widely as he flew up firing off the fire work cannon and the fireworks would be shot out, igniting together and would go off with colors everywhere spreading across the sky while Delirium walked to stand close to Luna and tapped her shoulder whispering to her in her ear•

Delirium:"Luna..I need to speak with you away from the others for a moment."

Young Luna:"What about exactly?.."

Delirium:"I'll explain but just..just follow"

Young Luna:"Alright?.."

•Delirium would lead Luna away from the others and further down the hall from the balcony•

Young Luna:"What does thou want to speak about?"

•Delirium would look both left and right before answering Luna's question•

Delirium:"Alright fine I'll answer now that no  pony is around, but don't go telling any one of this got it?"

Young Luna:"G-Got it"

Delirium:"Good,Luna..Do you ever get that feeling how you feel so tired of repeating things like think about it all me, you and all the others of the elements of harmony all we do is return harmony back to the land and reform some creature we barely even know always the same thing half the time..aren't you sick of it? And after that we go back to our daily lives like nothing happened it's so..so predictable don't you think?

Young Luna:"Well I..-

•Delirium would interrupt Luna speaking in an angered manner•

Delirium:"And don't think I haven't noticed how you've been feeling I mean Celestia your own sister raises the sun and we can see how much the ponies love her oh so much more ever think of taking the throne for your self, I mean look at you smart, young, much more beautiful then your own sister and if you were to take the throne you'd make such a fine ruler and maybe then those ponies who neglected the night for so long and if you wanted •Delirium whispered into Luna's ear• I could help guide you."

Young Luna:"What but I'd never do that we rule equestria together."

•Delirium would circle around Luna in a slow walking pace as she lowered her head speaking in an angered and taunting tone•

Delirium:"Really now?..It sure doesn't seem like it besides..you'd make such a better ruler then miss sunshine over there all she does is raise that sun of hers and waving when ever a ceremony happens half the time acting as if she really cared about them."

•Luna would give an angered expression with tears forming in her eyes•

Young Luna:"Delirium that's enough I'd never do such a thing..what's going on with y-your acting so different and why are you saying such things equestria is fine how it is as long as it's protected from those who want to harm it."

•A serious look would form on Deliriums face as she slammed Luna against the wall with her horn glowing giving off a slight warning she would fire her magic at any moment•

Delirium:"Hahaha.. are you kidding?! Equestria is never fine practically everyday we have to protect this..this place and for what?! No appreciation afterwards and they'll always be more freaks coming to try and take it over again it never ends and I've been driven to where I-I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE! If you don't do something I will!

Young Luna:"Delirium I..I think that's enough! I don't want to hear this anymore.."

Delirium:"Fine be that way but think about my offer Luna cause who knows maybe someday you might even turn it happens to the best of us and wipe those tears of yours I'm heading back now don't wanna miss the entire ceremony•Delirium had a smug tone in her voice•

Young Luna:"T-That'll never happen..never..."

Delirium:"Whatever you say..Luna.."

•Delirium rolled her eyes as she unpinned Luna from the wall walking back to the balcony to where the others were while Luna fell to the floor with one of her forehooves on the ground while the other front hoof was on her head as she sobbed while talking to her self•

Young Luna:"I..I won't turn..I won't turn..I'll never hurt any pony..never..not even when the day I die..I-I have to tell sister about this some pony..anypony about this some where no pony can here me and sister speak about this situation-

•Luna would hear her name called by her sister Celestia•

Young Celestia:"Luna..Luna! Where are you..we need you.."

•Luna slowly got up wiping her tears away before walking back to the balcony avoiding eye contact with Delirium•

Young Celestia:"Everything alright Luna?..where were you?.."

•Luna sniffles and then answered her sister with denial in her voice•

Young Luna:I-Its nothing..let's just get this ceremony over with.."

Young Celestia:"Are you sure Luna?"

Young Luna:"Shut up..yes I'm sure."•She bit her lip holding back her tears as she said those words to her sister having regretted saying that Luna would begin casting the spell to lower her moon•

•Celestia ears folded back as concern formed on her face but didn't bother to question her sister any longer, and watched her sister begin to lower the moon to make way for her sun, and moments later Celestia's horn lit and she too began to use her magic to raise her sun for the new dawn while the ponies young and old gave out cheers of joy for the new year•

•Young Sombra  would look over at Chrysalis giving a smile of joy to her and he let out a sigh with a pleased relaxed look on his face•

Young Sombra:"Another new year who knows what this year will hold for us right Chrysalis?"

•Chrysalis had been leaning against the balcony rail with her elbow against the rail and her hoof on her cheeks completely zoned out, she'd shake her head snapping out of her daze•

Young Chrysalis:"Oh um..yes right another new year though it worries me."

Young Sombra:"Whys that?"

Young Chrysalis:"I don't know just this new year I know it's just beginning and all but I have a bad feeling about it."

Young Sombra:"Do you wanna talk about it Chrysalis?"

•Chrysalis shook her head and replied back to Sombra•

Young Chrysalis:"No..I rather not."

Young Sombra:"Alright then..sorry if I offended you."

Young Chrysalis:"W-What oh no no you didn't offend me Sombra you could never offend me your my dearest friend."

Young Sombra:"Still apologies for what I said."

•Chrysalis would give a warm smile to Sombra•

Young Chrysalis:"Apology accepted even know you didn't offend me."

Star swirled:"Brand new bright year for all of us wonderful job Celestia and Luna for bringing another year."

•Celestia and Luna bowed their heads to star swirled•

• Discord let out a small yawn of boredom•

Young Discord/Non draconequus:

"Alright it's sooo boring now, why don't we go and celebrate this year just the seven of us in the castle garden instead of standing here on the balcony practically for an eternity."

•All Discords friends would let out a slight chuckle at discords complaint•

Young Celestia:"Alright Discord."

Young Luna:"But no maze games..I hate the maze.."•Luna mumbled•

Young Discord:"Alright fine..but lets go now!

•Discord leading the way marched proudly taking out his cake cannon and pushed it along with his wings spread out widely while he walked with the others behind him following him to the Castle garden•
