Gleaming Shield has always loved her little brother, the nerdy bookworm picked for the School for Gifted Unicorns. However, Dusk Shine, despite his brilliant mind, has never pieced together her furtive glances, her constant invasions of his privacy, and hundreds of interrupted 'alone time' sessions for the obvious:

Luckily for her, the brand-new Moon Shine Naturalist Retreat is looking for more high-profile visitors and guests to boost popularity, and has extended an invitation for an all-expenses-paid VIP visit for the Captain of the Royal Guard and her Plus-One to visit... and Princess Celestia happens to be going out of town, putting a pause on Dusk Shine's studies.
