“But Tia, we don’t know if he’ll still remember us!”
“Luna, I assure you he’ll remember his parents.”
“What if he doesn’t? What will we do then, send him back?”
“No, we’ll give him a new life. Either way he’s coming home”
“Fine, shall we cast the spell?”
“We shall”
A few moments passed and a large grey portal opened in the castles main hall, darkening the features around it. Soon a dark figure came out; it had a jet black coat and black and white mare. Its eyes were grey and hoofs white. The creature was slumped, being held by it middle back, between its wings. Slowly the sisters closed the portal and set the alicorn down, then rushing over to it.
“Hello, Eclipse… Can you hear me?” asked Luna to her and Celestia’s only son.
Eclipse then grunted and slowly pulled himself awake.
“Who are you pon- wait I remember now… your…mmh” Eclipse then slumped over fainting.
The sisters held him up, even though he was the same height as Luna.
“Let’s go Luna, he needs his rest. Have a guard open the spare room for him, and hurry.”
Luna nodded and flew down to find a guard to relay her sister’s message.
“It’s good to have you back little one.” Whispered Celestia
Eclipse found himself in a bed, but not the grey one he usually find himself in. This bed was softer and instead of grey it had a large sun and moon symbol on it. After observing his surroundings, which were a dresser, mirror, and a balcony leading somewhere he slowly got up and went over to the mirror. When he looked, he saw everything was how he always had it, a spikey black and white mane with a black coat. He then looked into his mirrored surroundings to find a mare looking at him.
“How are you feeling, Eclipse?” asked the mare
“How do you know my name?”
“You still don’t recognize me, Eclipse? I’m insulted, think harder.”
Eclipse squinted trying to remember the mares face. Then it suddenly came flooding back to him.
“Lun- I mean Moth- “
“Eclipse, its ok just call me Luna it’s ok as long as you know who I am.” Soothed Luna
“Where am I?” Asked Eclipse, knowing he wasn’t between the day and night.
“You’re in equestria, you original home.” Said Luna softly, not wanting to scare him and have him hate her
“Are you hungry?” asked Luna.
“Yea a little I guess” Eclipse said nervously.
“Then come with me.” Luna exclaimed walking out of the room with Eclipse closely behind.
Soon Luna was walking around toward the kitchen with Eclipse in tow and was explaining what happened in equestria while he was gone. Eclipse was listing but his mind was in other places, what happened to Celestia?
“And that’s when Candice and Shining Armor beat the Queen out of equestria, any questions?” Chirped Luna
“Uh, yea when are we getting something to eat?”
“Oh yea, let’s get you something to eat” Luna said sheepishly
Eclipse rolled his eyes at Luna and smiled as Luna remembered what they were doing.
When they reached the large kitchen they found a stallion working at a stove making dinner for the guards, which was Sunday soup night.
“Hello, Five Star can we get some daisy sandwiches?”
The Stallion known as Five Star looked up and made a quick bow.
“Why of course your majesty, take whatever you need.” Said the chef in a rough voice
“Thank you, and may I introduce you to Eclipse.”
Five Star quickly looked at Eclipse but then noticed he was an alicorn.
“Oh my, I am so sorry your majesty I didn’t see you were royalty, please forgive me!” Yelled the Chef who was now in a bow toward him
“Oh, I…Um your fine I don’t mind at all” Said Eclipse feeling embarrassed
“Hahahaha, come on Eclipse let’s get some food” Luna spoke in a cheery tone
Soon after the two got some sandwiches they continued walking down the halls of the castle looking at the art and history of the building. As they were walking a bright light emitted from the area in front of them, to reveal an angry looking Celestia.
