You wake up with a groan as your alarm clock goes off. You fumble around your nightstand in the dark of your room until you manage to hit the off button on your alarm clock. It's Monday. God you hate Mondays. You sit up from your bed and groggily rub your eyes, take a good stretch, and get up from your bed to take a shower.
You walk down your hallway and enter your bathroom. As you flick the light switch, you cover your eyes to avoid being blinded. Once your eyes adjust, you turn your shower on and step in. Feeling the warm water on your body was a great wake-up call, and gets your mind going. After your shower, you dry off and go to your room to get dressed.
You put on your shoes, grab your binder, and head out your door to head to the bus stop. As you wait there, your next door neighbor, Pinkie Pie, stands next to you to wait for the bus as well.
"Good morning, Anon!" She says in her normal cheerful tone. You honestly hoped that she wouldn't talk to you, because you don't like talking to anyone before 7 A.M.
"Good morning, Pinke..." You say with a sigh. She didn't seem to notice your tone of voice, and began to conversate with you. Not wanting to be rude, you talked with her. Thankfully, the bus came shortly after. Note to self: don't come out to wait for the bus so early.
You step off of the bus along with a bunch of other students as you make your way towards Canterlot High. As you walk into the school, you immediately make you way towards the cafeteria to eat breakfast. You grab something to eat and sit down at your usual table with your friends.
Once the bell rang, you and your friends said bye to eachother as you made your way to your classes. Your first class of the day was Spanish. You honestly didn't have any problems with that class. It was easy enough and you got an A. You walk into the classroom and take a seat. After a few minutes, Mr. Cee walked in and told the class that the section 7 test was today. No problem, you studied all last weekend, so you were prepared.
As Mr. Cee finished handing out the tests, you began to answer the questions. About 5 minutes into the test, you heard something behind you.
"Psst!" The voice said. You didn't think they were talking to you, so you continued answering questions. You heard the same thing a few more times, and continued to ignore it. A piece of crumpled up paper then hit your desk. You quickly took it out of sight and looked up to see if the teacher was watching. Once you saw that he wasn't, you opened the paper. It read: hey Nonny, what's the answer to question 16? -Pinkie.
You turned around to face Pinkie Pie, a girl whom you've known since kindergarten, and mouthed the letter "B" to her. She nodded and gave you a thumbs up and went back to doing her test. Once you finished yours, you set it on the overhead at the front of the room. You returned to your desk, set your head down, and took a nap.
After all of your morning classes, you began to make your way to lunch. Along the way, you heard someone yelling and a slam. Out of your curiosity, you went to check it out. It was Sunset Shimmer, the biggest bully in school. She was pushing around some girl for who knows what. You didn't know this girl, so you just decided to stay out of it. But just look at her, she was crying... Hard. Poor girl.
"Jesus Christ..." You said to yourself. You walk over to Sunset and tell her to leave the girl alone.
"And who are you to tell me what to do?" She asked with a smirk.
"Nobody, I'm just telling you to leave this poor girl alone." You say. "Besides, what in the hell did she do to you?"
"She bumped into me and knocked all of my damn stuff out of my hands and onto the floor!"
"So? That doesn't give you the right to be a total bitch!" You realized that your voice began to rise. Sunset did the same with her voice.
"How about you fuck off!" She said as she tried to shove you. As soon as she tried, you moved to the side and shoved her back, causing her to fall to the floor.
"No, Sunset." You said calmly. "How about you fuck off." She looked up at you with a very shocked expression. You began to realize what you had just done. "I'm sorry, Sunset... I shouldn't have shoved you." You said as you held out your hand to help her up. She almost instantly slapped it away and got up herself, and started to walk away with her fists jammed in her pockets.
You turned to the girl that sunset was bullying. "Hey, you alright?" You asked. She just stood there with her eyes wide and mouth wide open. It looked like she was blushing, but that could've been from all the crying she was doing. "Uh, hello?" You asked while waving you hand in front of her.
"Oh!" Said the girl. "Yeah... I'm alright." She was hiding her face behind her long, pink hair. "It's just that... Nobody stands up to Sunset like that."
"Oh, heh heh. Well, I guess they do now." You say. "Hey, what's your name?" You ask.
"Um... I'm... Flutt---hy..." She said. She was mumbling, so you couldn't understand her.
"Uh, didn't quite catch that," you say. "Can you speak a little louder for me?" After doing so, you manage to catch her name: Fluttershy. That name sounded familiar... After thinking about it for a few seconds, you realize that this is the girl who hands out the fliers for the animal shelter after school. "Oh," you say. "Well I'm glad your alright, Fluttershy."
"Y- you are?" She asked. Ok, she was definitely blushing.
"Well, yeah. I mean, I couldn't leave you to get bullied by Sunset." You say with a chuckle. You look at the time and realize that your late for lunch. "Well, I gotta go... So I'll see you later I guess." As you turn around, you feel something hold you back. You turn around and notice that Fluttershy has began to hold your hand. You give her a confused look.
"Oh! Um... S- sorry..." She says, letting go of your hand. She was as red as a tomato by now.
"Okay?" You say. "Well, catch you later." You turn around and begin to make your way to lunch. "Well that was weird." You say to yourself.
You grab your lunch and sit down at a table with your friends. Half of the table is claimed by you guys, and the other half is claimed by the girls. About halfway through lunch, your conversation with bulk biceps was interrupted by one of the girls at your table. She walked up behind you and asked "Excuse me partner, are you the boy that stood up for Fluttershy in the hallway?" She asked. This girl had a southern accent, it was quite funny actually.
You turned around to face her. It was that farmer chick that you see around every now and then. "Yeah, why?" You ask, raising an eyebrow.
"Well that was awful sweet of ya, sugarcube." She said. Why in the hell would she randomly call you sugarcube? "All of us girls would like to meet ya, if your fine with it."
"Yeah, alright." You say. You tell your friends that you'd be right back and got up to follow the girl. "Hey, I didn't get your name."
"Oh! My apologies, my name's Applejack." She said while holding out her hand. You shook it and followed her to her side of the table. You took a seat next to her, and was instantly greeted by everyone at the table. You got a pretty warm welcome from all of them, so you felt relaxed. There were 5 of them, and you only knew Pinkie Pie (you two have a long history of friendship) and Rarity (she is your neighbor). The other 3, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash, you befriended pretty quickly. You and Applejack were pretty good on terms, you had similar interests like farming and stuff, you and Fluttershy... Well, that is a work in progress. And you and Rainbow Dash, you were definitely gonna be great friends- you had very similar personalities and were very good in athletic terms. After talking with them for awhile, lunch was over. You said your goodbyes and headed out of the cafeteria for your free period.
As you walked down the hall, a couple of students started giving you an applause. This was very confusing, because you didn't do anything special recently. You looked around to see if there was anyone special around you, but everyone seemed to be looking at you. You walked up to someone and asked what was going on.
"You're the dude who stood up to Sunset Shimmer! You're like a badass dude!" Said the student.
Ok, so evidently the word about you standing up to Sunset spread really quick. Everyone thought you were pretty cool for this, but not you. Honestly, all you did was stand up to someone that everyone else was scared of. Sunset isn't even that scary, she's just a girl with a bad attitude. Anyway, it was time to just finish up your day and head home.
After your last class, you head to your locker and you grab your stuff. After you emptied your locker, you turn around and make your way to the front doors. You were going to walk to your friend's house today, so there was no need to catch the bus, as you continued to walk, someone walked up in front of you and punched you in the nose. You looked up and saw it was Sunset Shimmer, and she looked pissed.
"What the fuck Sunset?" You say.
"I'm gonna kill you!" She screams as she climbs on top of you and attempts to repeatedly punch you. You manage to grab her wrists and pin her to the ground.
"Sunset, calm down!" You say. A drop of blood falls on her face and you then notice that your nose was bleeding. You got off of her and pinched your nose to reduce bleeding. She got up and ran out of the school, leaving you full of questions. People came up to you and asked if you alright. You told them you were fine, but the pain in your nose said a different answer. You went to the bathroom and washed off all of the blood and put some tissue in your nostril. You look in the mirror and dear god she fucked you up. Your nose was black and blue, and to make things worse, it was broken. Yep, that bitch moved your nose sideways. You walked out of the school and called your friend and said that he needed to give you a ride to the hospital.
Once you got there, he immediately turned his attention to your nose. You told him the story as he drove you to the hospital. The doctor took you to a room and said that it wasn't that bad of a break and your nose could be relocated. He called someone into the room to relocate your nose. Now that was something that hurt, and the bruises didn't help either. Once your nose was back in place, the doctor handed you a plastic mask and told you to wear it for about 6 weeks to let your nose heal. Well shit. Now you gotta walk around with a mask on your face. Well, you can say that you've had quite the day...

Chapter 2: Fluttershy and the Shelter

Chapter 2: Fluttershy and the Shelter
The very next day, you decided to not wear the mask. There is no fucking way that you are going to wear a piece of plastic over your face for 6 weeks. Ner er. As soon as you walked through the front doors, Principal Celestia seemed to be waiting for you. She probably was now to think of it, because the second you walked in she asked for you to come into her office. And you had a pretty good idea as to why...
Well, just as you suspected: this is about you and Sunset the other day. When you walked into the office, Sunset was sitting in a chair, with a pissed expression on her face. You chose to lean against a wall near the door rather than to sit in the chair next to Sunset. You noticed that Sunset kept giving you a death glare, and no matter how much you tried to look away and avoid it, her glare just pierced through your soul.
"I'd like to know what happened yesterday between you two," said Principal Celestia. "About with your nose, Anonymous. Students said you were involved with it, Sunset."
"Well..." You began. You honestly didn't want to get Sunset in trouble, even if she did break your nose. Hell, no matter what someone did to you, you never wanted to get them in trouble. You began to think of an excuse. "Sunset and I were messing around with eachother the other day and she accidentally pushed me over, and I faceplanted onto the floor."
"Is this true Sunset?" Asked Principal Celestia.
"Uhhh, yeah." Said Sunset, looking off to the side. Principal Celestia didn't look too amused, but she just went with it.
"Alright, I guess that settles it then. Just remember you two, go a little easier on eachother, ok?" Said Principal Celestia.
"Got it." Said you and Sunset simultaneously. As you both walked out of the office, Sunset stopped you.
"Why'd you do it?" She asked.
"Why'd I do what?" You said
"You changed the story... About your nose and all. How come?" Sunset asked. She looked pretty confused at this point.
"Look," you said. "You may have broken my nose, and you may be a complete bitch to me, but I wouldn't want you getting in trouble. I don't really like telling on people like that."
"Oh..." She said. "Well smooth move there, Anon." After saying this, she nudged you on the arm and walked away. Huh, that was kinda weird for Sunset to do... Anyway, you had to get to your first class, as for you were 10 minutes late.
You walked in the room and as usual, when you walk in a class late, all the students look at you as if you've just killed someone. You walked over to your Mr. Cee, whom was on the computer, and handed her the late pass that the principal gave you. When he looked up at you, he looked worried.
"Oh my goodness, Anon," he said. "What happened to your nose?"
"Is it really that bad?" You asked. Your question was soon answered when you looked at you phone screen. "Oh my god..." You said.
"What happened?" Asked your teacher.
"Yesterday I faceplanted and broke it," you said with a chuckle. "Didn't think it was that bad until now."
"Well why don't you take a seat while I go get you some ice," he said.
"No, no," you said as you went to your desk. " I'm fine, really."
"Are you sure?" he asked. You nodded as you took your seat. You grabbed out your notebook as Mr. Cee began his lesson. About halfway through class, Mr. Cee gave everyone free time since everyone had everything done. When free time began, Pinkie Pie came up to your desk.
"Are you alright, Nonny?" She asked in her very rare serious tone. Almost never, in your long history with Pinkie Pie, have you ever heard her talk in a serious tone. So she must be really concerned.
"Yeah Pinkie," you said. "I'm alright." You couldn't help but notice her facial expression, worried and sad. "Uh, are you alright?" You asked her.
"Oh, yeah..." She said. "I just feel bad for you that you broke your nose, and all of the bruises on your face. It's just terrible." She said.
"Hey," you said, putting your hand on her shoulder. "I'll be fine, don't worry about me." You notice the adorable look on her face, just looking up at you with those big blue eyes of hers. She then does something unexpected: she gives you a hug. Well, you didn't really know what to do at this point, and you were kinda feeling awkward. Thankfully nobody was watching to see Pinkie Pie hugging you, with her head buried in your chest. "Uh, Pinkie?" You said.
"Yeah?" She said. She wasn't crying or anything, but her voice sounded content.
"What are you doing?" You ask. Finally realizing what she was doing, she instantly let go of you and her face began to turn a darker shade of pink.
"Oh... Sorry about that, Nonny." She said with a chuckle. "I don't really know what I was doing..." Ok, now she looked downright cute. Looking down at the floor, twiddling her thumbs, and clearly blushing, yeah you had to admit that it was cute.
"It's alright, Pinkie." You say. "Just don't do that again." A few seconds later, the bell rang signaling you to go to your next class. "Well, I'll catch you later, Pinkie." You say as you walk out of class.
Ok, so the rest of your day went pretty normal, except for one thing: Pinkie Pie kept staring at you. At lunch, while you were talking to your friends, you caught her looking at you. And the crazy thing was the look on her face. It was like an admiring look rather than a plain old stare. After lunch, you caught her doing the same thing in the halls while you were at your locker. It was really starting to weird you out. The thought of Pinkie actually having a thing for you was in between understandable and weird. For the understandable part, you two have been friends for years, like since kindergarten. The weird part is the fact that she may like you. I mean, you two are probably way too good of friends to actually date eachother. Well, this is gonna be in the back of your head for awhile...
As you walked out of the school, you sat down at a bench in front of the parking lot. You didn't really have anything planned today, so you just decided to chill out. So, you put on your aviator shades and started to relax. About five minutes later, you heard footsteps coming your way. You decided not to see who they were, mainly because you were really comfortable right now, and the sun was hitting your body, giving you plenty of warmth.
"U- um... hello Anon." Said a quiet voice. Well, you might as well see who it is now. You look forward to see Fluttershy holding a stack of papers. You lay your head back again to continue your sun bathing.
"Hello, Fluttershy." You said. "What can I do you for?"
"W- well..." She said. She was clearly blushing right now. "I- I was wondering if... You... wanttovolunteerattheanimalshelter..." She said that last part pretty fast, but you caught what she said. You thought about it for a moment. You had nothing else to do today, so you might as well do it.
"Yeah, alright." You said. She instantly lit up with a look of disbelief.
"R- really?" She asked.
"Yeah, I got nothing better to do today anyway." You said with a shrug.
"Nobody's ever done this for me before... Thank you so much!" She said. She didn't really seem all to timid anymore.
"Yeah, no problem." You said as you sat up from the bench. "So, are we gonna go right now or..."
"Yeah, follow me!" She said as she grabbed your hand and began to run across the street. A few minutes later, you were standing in front of an animal shelter. Didn't really look like much, but whatever. As Fluttershy opened the door, your jaw dropped open. Dozens of animals, thousands to exaggerate, but yeah, mostly dozens.
You walked over to a cage and looked at a kitten in the cage. Poor guy, sitting in here locked up for who knows how long. "Do you ever let them out of the cages?" You asked Fluttershy.
"Yeah, all the time!" She says while opening a few cages. Animals instantly barraged her with kisses, nuzzles, etc. It was quite the sight to watch. For the next few hours, you two just sat around, talked, and played with the animals. Eventually, the animals blew off enough steam to go to sleep. Most of them plopped down next to you and fell asleep. So you just layed down with them and started to relax.
A few moments have passed, and you looked over to Fluttershy and you noticed something: she wears the same outfit everyday. "Hey, Fluttershy?" You ask.
"Yeah?" She replies.
"How come you wear the same outfit everyday?" This question seems to get to her. She began to hide her face with her hair and get really timid again. "Hey, I don't mind or anything, I just wanna know. Besides, you look good in the outfit anyway." You say. This triggers a complete mood swing. From being timid, she went into complete blush mode.
"Y- you think I look good?" She asks. Her face is redder than one of the dog's rubber balls you were playing with earlier. It was quite funny, actually.
"Well, yeah." You say. "It could be labelled as attractive to some guys, I guess." You notice that she began to scoot closer to you.
"Well, are you one of those guys that find me attractive?" She asked in a rather seductive tone. She was biting her lip in a seductive way as well.
"Well, I don't know about that..." You said as you began to lean away from her. Honestly, you didn't know whether you wanted to do what was on her mind or not. As she leans closer, you notice that she's giving you a pretty good view of her cleavage. You gotta say, with a rack like that, doing this with Fluttershy is quite tempting.
Alright, you're basically laying on your back by now as Fluttershy lies on top of you. Her breasts were pinned up against your chest and you didn't really know what to think at this point. On one hand, you could make out and possibly get laid by a hot girl. But on the other hand, you could start a relationship that you honestly don't wanna be in. You eventually decided to not make out with her, since you weren't really the type of guy for relationships.
"Uh, Fluttershy, can you get off of me please?" You ask.
"W- what?" She asks, clearly baffled at what you just said. "But don't you want me?" She sat up, letting you stand up.
"Look, it was tempting, alright? But I just don't want to do that with you." You say. Her eyes were beginning to tear up, and you began to feel bad and awkward at the same time. "Well, I gotta go, so see you tomorrow I guess." You walked out of the animal shelter and began to walk home. Well, that was weird. Fluttershy actually tried to make out with you, and maybe even try to seduce you, who the hell knows. You needed to clear your head, so you decided to head to the school fountain. When you got there, you noticed Rainbow Dash was sitting there, sweating in her Sports Bra and Spandex. You walked over to the bench and sat next to her.
"Hey there." You said. She looked at you and took one of her earbuds and smiled.
"Oh, hey dude!" She said. You forgot to mention, you noticed Rainbow Dash was a pretty big tomboy, like it was very noticeable. "How have you been?" She asked.
"Well pretty good for the most part," you said. "Just came by here to clear my head."
"What happened man?" She asked.
"Well, I don't really know if I should get into it." You say. "It's really weird."
"C'mon dude! I can take it!" Rainbow said. She was obviously really enthusiastic, and she asked for it. So, here it goes. You explained to her the whole situation between you and Fluttershy, starting from when she asked you to when you left. After hearing this, Rainbow looked a bit shocked.
"Wow, that's not like Fluttershy at all." She said.
"Yeah, I don't know what got into her." It got a little silent after that. You decided to pick up a conversation by asking her what she was listening to.
"Oh, I'm listening to Metallica." She says. "You probably don't know them, though. Nobody listens to real music anymore."
"Are you kidding?" You say. "I love Metallica! It's a lot better than what everyone else listens to nowadays anyway."
"Oh yeah?" Rainbow said, raising an eyebrow with a smirk. "What's your favorite song?"
"Enter Sandman." You say.
"No way, me too!" Says Rainbow. She hands you one of her earbuds and selected "Enter Sandman" on her iPod. You two began singing loudly in unison. After that, you two began talking for what seemed like hours. When you noticed it was getting dark out, you said you'd better head back to your house.
"Alright dude, I'll catch you later. I gotta get back to running anyway." Said Rainbow. You two said your goodbyes and you began to head to the bus stop. When the bus came you began to think about how interesting things have been recently: a broken nose, befriended by some of the most popular girls in school, Fluttershy trying to seduce you... Man, things have been pretty crazy lately. Maybe a good night's sleep could clear your head a bit better.

Chapter 4: A Weekend With The Apple Family
You along with pretty much the entire school ran out of the front doors in excitement for the weekend. While making your way to your bus, you were stopped by Applejack.
"Howdy there, Anon!" She said in her normal southern accent.
"Hey Applejack," you said. "Need something?"
"Well not really, I just have a question for ya." She said.
"Well," you said. "Ask away."
"You see, Big Mac and I are runnin behind at the orchard and I was wonderin if ya'd like to help us out this weekend... If ya don't have plans, that is." She explained. She didn't seem nervous about your answer like Fluttershy And Rainbow were, so her trying to hit on you didn't really seem all to likely. You took a moment to think about it, for you weren't really the country type of guy.
"You sure you want my help?" You asked. "I'm not really the cowboy or farmer type of guy."
"I don't really care about that Anon," she said. "As long as we got a devoted farmhand with us, that's all that matters!" Well at this moment, you began to feel guilty for not wanting to help. And knowing you, you don't handle guilt all too well.
"Yeah," you said. "I guess I can come out and help you guys."
"Alright!" She said as she wrapped her arms around you in a hug. "Thank ya so much!"
"You're welcome... Hey, Applejack?" You said. "Can you please let go of me?" Her eyes shot open as soon as you said this, and she instantly let go of you. Her face was ridiculously red at this point, no doubt about it.
"Uh... Sorry about that." She said with a nervous chuckle, rubbing the back of her neck.
"Hey, it's fine." You say. It was getting awkward, so you decided to change the subject. "So, when do I start?" After this question, she brightened up a bit.
"Well right now, of course!" She said as she ran to the parking lot. "Come on!" You began to run after her until you stopped in front of her vehicle. Your mouth stood agape as you saw her ride. It was a Chevy Silverado with all of the modifications that a hillbilly would dream for. "Well are ya gonna get in, or just stare?" She said with a smirk. You snapped out of your mood and got in the truck.
"Smooth ride you got here," you said, admiring the interior. "How much did this cost you?"
"About 50 thousand." She said casually.
"Jesus, Applejack!" You said in a surprised tone. "Where in the hell did you get that kind of money by working on a farm?"
"It's called saving up allowance." She said with a giggle. "How about you, do you have a ride?"
"Yeah, a matte black hellcat." You said. Applejack's expression suddenly changed.
"Yer kidding!" She said in astonishment. You chuckled and shook your head saying no. "Well where is it?"
"Oh it's at the auto repair shop," you said with a sigh. "I blew out the motor last month, so I've been having to take the bus lately."
"Oh, bummer." Applejack said.
"Yeah..." You said while facing out the passenger side window. You began to notice that the city was now replaced with trees and the cement road was now dirt. The fall leaves fell from their trees and blew out of the way as you drove by them. It was really quite the sight.
"Beautiful, ain't it?" Asked Applejack. But you paid no attention. You were still admiring the gorgeous scenery around you. A few moments later, you found yourself looking at an apple orchard. "Hey, we're here!" You awoke from your trance and arrived back to reality. You nodded your head and got out of the truck. When your feet hit the ground, you were greeted by a small girl.
"Well hi there, stranger!" She said in a cheerful tone, typical for a young girl like her. "You're not from around these parts, are ya?"
You chuckled at the sight of her. She had some muddy cowgirl boots on with a red bow, your average cowgirl attire. "What is this, some kind of Western movie?" You asked, kneeling down and smiling at her. She giggled and drew a plastic gun from the holster on her hip.
"Eeyup!" She said. "Now reach for the sky, bandit!" You followed her instructions and stood up with your hands in the air.
"Applebloom, leave our guest alone!" Said Applejack from behind.
"Oh no, she's fine." You said. "Just having a little fun is all we're doing." You realized you forgot to introduce yourself to the young girl, so you kneeled back down and held out your hand. "By the way, my name's Anon. I'll be helping you guys out for the weekend."
She giggled and shook your hand. "My name's Applebloom! Nice to finally meet ya!"
You raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by finally?" You asked.
"Well ya see, Applejack always talks about ya!" She said. "Always going on about how yer a good guy and yer cute and stuff!" You chuckled and turned to Applejack, whom was blushing very hard.
"All the time, huh?" You ask, looking at Applejack. Right when Applebloom was going to speak, Applejack quickly put her hand over her mouth.
"Alright there, I think Anon has heard enough!" She said. "We got work ta do anyway." She motioned you over to the farmhouse to let the rest of the Apple family know of your presence. "Hey there, y'all!" She said as the two of you entered the house.
"Well howdy, AJ! I see you've brought a friend!" Said an ancient looking lady. "A cute one, too!" This caused you to give a stupid grin, being complemented by someone you don't know.
"Anon?" You heard a familiar voice say. You knew that voice anywhere: Big Macintosh. Big Mac appeared from around a corner and gave you a friendly smile. "I was expecting ya, good to see ya buddy!" He said as he walked over to you. The two of you shared your "bro hug" and had a good laugh. You and Big Mac go way back, just like you and Pinkie. The two of you used to play outside all day, making mud pies, shoot birds with slingshots, and way more... Memories that you will cherish forever. The thing is, you've never been at one of each other's households, so this place is completely new to you. Hell, you didn't even know each other's families. You were surprised to hear that Applejack so happened to be Big Mac's sister at first, but then it actually seemed pretty obvious.
"Wait, that's Anon?!?!" Said Granny Smith. She looked pretty shocked, yet excited at the same time, and you didn't really know what to think.
You gave a nervous chuckle. "That's me." You said while rubbing the back of your neck. "Sorry for asking but... Do I know you?"
"Nope, but I know you!" She said excitedly. At this moment you were a bit creeped out. "AJ talks about ya all the time!" Oh. Well that explains a lot. You turned to Applejack, who had her face buried in her hands. Everyone laughed at this sight, even you. You had to admit though, you felt a little sorry for her, getting embarrassed by her family like this.
"How about some apple picking or whatever you guys do?" You ask, attempting to change the subject.
"Oh, right!" Said Big Mac. "Follow me, Anon." He motioned you outside, and you followed. He brought you over to the barn to get some wooden baskets to put the apples in. After that, you two spent hours on end doing nothing but getting apples from their trees and hauling the heavy baskets back to the barn. But it wasn't too hard of a task for you and Mac. Being an athlete does have its perks, after all. You were about 4 hours in right now, and the sun was beginning to set.
"Hey Mac, it's getting late so I'm gonna finish up this last tree and call it a day!" You said to Mac.
"Alright, I'll help ya out there!" Mac said as he made his way over to the tree you were at. The two of you then quickly finished picking all of the apples and made your way to the barn. You set the bucket of apples down and made your way out of the barn. When you and Mac walked into the house, your presence was instantly recognized. Applebloom and Granny Smith looked at the two of you with faces of disgust and plugged their noses, notifying you that you stank pretty bad. Mac offered you the shower first, and you gladly accepted his offer. He showed you were the bathroom was, and you entered the room, locking the door behind you. A few moments later, you realized that you didn't have a change of clothes. You wrapped a towel around your waist and took your clothes out to Granny Smith. You asked her if she could wash your outfit, and thankfully she said that she would. You thanked her and made your way back to the bathroom. You hopped in the shower and let the warm water run on your back. Your exhaustion mixed with the sensation of the warm water nearly put you to sleep. You decided that you were gonna go to sleep as soon as you got out of the shower. You finished washing your hair and body, and then got out of the shower. You dried off, wrapped the towel around your waist and walked out to retrieve your clothes. Granny Smith had already put them out for you, and you took them back into the bathroom to put them on. After you were fully clothed, Granny Smith was laying out dinner on the table.
"Would ya like something ta eat, Anon?" She asked. You shook your head and told her you were gonna settle in for the night. You asked where you would be sleeping, and Granny showed you were you would go. She led you to a pull out couch, already set up for you to sleep on. "Oh, one more thing Anon," Said Granny Smith just as you were getting into bed. "Would you be a dear and call Applejack down for dinner?"
"Yeah, sure thing." You said. You got up and made your way through the kitchen and to the stairs. "Hey, which room belongs to AJ?" You asked Granny. She said it was the second door on the left. "Alrighty then," you said to yourself as you made your way up the stairs. When you hit the top, you spotted Applejack's door and made your way to it. You put your hand on the knob and opened the door... Big mistake. "Hey Applejack, dinner's OH MY GOD I'M SORRY!" You probably should've knocked first, because that would've definitely saved you. Applejack was on her bed, fingering herself. Yep, that's what she was doing, no doubt about it. What's worse is that she saw you as well. "Dinner's ready!" You said through the door as you walked down the stairs. You let the Apple family know that she would be down in a few and then you got back into the couch. As you stared at the ceiling, you tried to get that image out of your head, but it stayed. After a while, you figured that a good night's sleep would get it out of your mind. Slowly but surely, you found yourself drifting off to sleep...
You woke up to the Saturday's morning sun. That, and the smell of food. You realized that you were very hungry, having no good after last night really drained your tank. You began to drag yourself off of the couch to get some food. As you walked into the kitchen, you saw that everyone was in there and awake. "Morning everyone," You say as you began to serve yourself. "Sleep well?" You ask. You got a few nods and an 'eeyup'. All seemed normal, except for Applejack avoiding eye contact with you and staying very quiet. You knew what was on her mind, and didn't really want to think about it either. After your breakfast, you went outside with Big Mac. "Alright Mac, what are we gonna do today?" You ask.
"Well I was thinkin' about getting the rest of these apples out of the trees," he began. "Which may or may not take all day. Then after supper, I wanted to go fishin' with ya down by the lake." He said as he pointed his finger in the direction of the lake.
"Sounds good to me!" You said with excitement. This will be the first time that you and Mac could hang out and enjoy yourselves. Anyway, enough of that. It was time to get to picking apples as fast as you possibly could...
You sat on the hill at the end of the orchard as you felt overwhelmed with victory. You had just finished stripping the orchard of all of its apples, and you were ready to relax. You smiled as you looked over the orchard, as you could see it's entirety from the hill. You heard footsteps and expected Big Mac, but you were surprised by Applejack, who sat next to you. Not wanting to make this more awkward than you felt, you decided to make some Smalltalk. "Hey," you said. "How's it going?"
"Oh, I'm alright... You?" She replied. She still wasn't looking at you, so you tried to lighten her up a bit.
"The orchard... It's beautiful." You said. "Just like you, I'm surprised you don't have a boyfriend yet." You said with an awkward chuckle. Why in the hell did you say that, Anon? Now she's gonna think you like her. Good going. She then turned to you with a huge blush on her face.
"Y-you think I'm beautiful?" She asked in a surprised tone. You honestly didn't want to directly say yes, but whatever.
"Well, yeah. I guess you can say that." You said with a laugh.
"Well gosh, thank ya..." She said as you two shared a laugh. When all seemed good, she decided to ruin the moment for you. "Hey, about last night..." She began. Well, shit. "I'm really sorry that ya saw that... I shoulda resisted the urge to do what I was doin' because you were here." She said.
"No, it's not your fault." You said. "It's very much mine for not knocking on your door first. I just hope this doesn't come between our friendship, because I enjoy being your friend." You said. She looked at you with watery eyes, kinda a bit much but she's a girl, seems normal in your book.
"Me too," she said. She then pulled you into a hug, and not wanting to be rude, you hugged her back. You then realized you were really sweaty.
"Hey, I gotta shower up and then head out fishing with Big Mac." You said as you got up. She looked a bit sad that the hug broke, but just smiled and replied with an "okay". When you got back to the farmhouse, you showered up and ate supper. You and Mac then headed out to the lake to go fishing. That night was one of the best you had had in a long time. Full of laughs, guy talk, and you even got a call from the auto shop telling you that your car was completely repaired. Shortly after midnight, you and Mac walked back to the house with a bucket of catfish. You almost instantly fell asleep when you arrived. You lie down on the couch, with nothing but thoughts of your car and a smile on your face. The next morning, you said your goodbyes to the Apple family and had Big Mac drop you off at the auto shop. You saved him goodbye as you walked into the garage. You saw the store clerk and told him your name and your car name. He led you back into the garage and that's when you saw it- your heart and soul. Your hellcat was sitting there, ready to go. You signed some paperwork and paid the guy and instantly ran to your car. You turned it on to hear the engine purr. That was music to your ears. "Missed you babe." You said as you patted the dash and internally cringing at what you just said. But nevermind that, it was time to ride. You skidded your tires out of the garage and began to drive. You weren't going anywhere, you just wanted to drive and do nothing but drive.
