August Tome, a renowned historian from the city of Canterlot, became increasingly curious about the Everfree Forest and why it remains wild whilst the world around it has become ordered. In an effort to try and answer that question he launched an expedition into that infamous forest. This is his account of that ill-fated venture, a story which threatens to change the way ponies see history and themselves.
