Bloody Mirrors

The two ponies walked on and on, until the path was split into two. Twilight Sparkle could see that past that, the path was yet again split, and split, and split, until there were 16 paths on one side. Fluttershy sank to the floor and mumbled something about never being able to find Pinkie.

"Should we... turn around, Twilight?" Fluttershy was about to cry. You could tell she cared for her dear friend.

"Well, yes. Pinkie wouldn't have made it here. She would've called our name and waited. That must mean... oh, Celestia! She went the other way!" Twilight's eye started twitching, and her legs were obviously tired of walking.

"Oh, boy... But, say... Um, Twilight, how far have we traveled?"

"About a mile and a half."

"Whhhhaaaaat? But the maze looked so small from the outside!"

"Fluttershy, I think we're going down. I noticed a small decrease every step, and I say that we're about thirty to fifty feet down."

"But... that's crazy! I-" Suddenly a loud shift was heard, but Twilight screamed. She tackled Fluttershy out of the way just as a pillar rose up from the ground, in the position where they were both in. The force of the pillar would have killed them both instantly, not mentioning the way it hit the ceiling, causing parts of the ceiling to fall down near the ponies.

    Once their coughing fits were over, Fluttershy hugged Twilight.

"Oh, *cough* Twilight, thank you so much, I would've died..."

Twilight, horribly dazed by the event nodded her head slowly, still coughing like a maniac before falling to the ground.

"*squeal* Twilight! What happened?"

"Fluttershy... I... I-I'm fine. I'm just... dazed..." Her head slumped to the ground.

"No, Twilight, there's something wrong. I've taken care of enough animals to know that you're hurt." Fluttershy, determined to get her friend out, heaved her over her back, and ran toward the entrance.

    It was hard to get there with Twilight on her back without everything crumbling behind her. The occasional debris hit her and Twilight, causing her to stir quietly. Fluttershy became slower every step, but her determination was too strong just for her to give up. She was panting hard now, and Twilight weighed more than she'd thought. In less than a minute she would have to give up. Just as she was about to give up, the pillars rising from the ground with speed stopped with a crash. Fluttershy fell to the floor, panting more than she ever had in her whole life. All the energy was drained from her body, but she didn't have a clue about Twilight. Fluttershy fell on top of her, embracing the lavender pony in a hug. They would lay there, hugging each other, soon falling asleep.

    Soon enough they heard Rainbow Dash's voice.

"Whoa! What are you doing, Twilight? Fluttershy? That looks naughty!" By this time Twilight's and Fluttershy's voices had come back a little, but only enough for speaking in short sentences.

"Rain... Dash... Get... Watch o-out..."

"Wha? I don't get it."

"Pill... ars... Watch out for..."

"I shouldn't take pills? I know."

"Pillars... Stay..." There was a rumble as Rainbow yelled and tried to move, but to no avail. A pillar came up and smashed her wing. She yelled bloody murder as she was suspended in the air, screaming.

"HOLY BUCK! IT HURTS! MAKE IT STOP! MY WING!"

Fluttershy and Twilight could just watch as the cyan pegasus just screamed.

And screamed.

And screamed.

And screamed.

Aaaaand screamed. Twilight woke up to the commotion. She saw Dashie suspended in the air and her eyes became as wide as saucers.

"What... I don't under... stand, how did... I-"

Rainbow Dash screamed again, but soon her yells were turned into sobs.

"OH.... Twi... Flutter... please help. Make it stop, it hurts, my wing, I can't get out... PLEASE!" Twilight and Fluttershy bolted up but they were quickly sat down by a rumbling sound and a mini earthquake, supposedly. The mirrors around Rainbow Dash shattered, shards stabbing her in the flank and her hooves. Rainbow's sobs turned into the loudest yells you could hear in Equestria.

"HOLY BUCKING CELESTIA! MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE!"

Her healthy wing flapped as if it would help. It only made her other wing shift uncomfortably, making the bones grind against the stone, making her wince.

"Rainbow Dash, watch out!" Another pillar rose up in front of her, almost catching her hoof. Dashie's eyes widened and she pulled her hooves in, hiccuping uncontrollably.

"Dashie, we... omigosh... We'll get you out.... TWILIGHT! Use your magic!"

"On it, Fluttershy!" Twilight Sparkle's aura around her horn turned purple as she shakily pulled the pillar to the ground and Fluttershy fetched Rainbow Dash. Her wing was a bloody mess with veins sticking out at the base.

"Twilight... NO, DON'T TOUCH ME! It... h-h-h-hurts... I'm... d-d-dying, get me... to hostpit... al..." Twilight gulped. She had no experience with medical issues, and her only hope was Fluttershy.

    Fluttershy was in the corner, sobbing and muttering crazy things.

"Fluttershy! We need you!" Fluttershy snapped out of her world, and trotted quickly over.

"Okay, Twilight... I'll try my best... Oh, no... We need a cloth..."

"Wha... I'll use my magic." She generated a handkerchief which Fluttershy grabbed eagerly. She wrapped it around the crying pegasus. She winced and flapped her working wing rapidly, but just one wing couldn't get her in the air. Her wing was bandaged, and she started to calm down. Her thoughts were even calmer.

Okay... My wing was just crushed. I can't fly. It still hurts. My life is ruined. My cutie mark doesn't even match my personality. I don't even count as a pegasus any more. My... life, my wings, my reputation... It'd be better if I died right now.

    The yellow and the lavender unicorn and the pegasus explained to Rainbow Dash. When she heard the part about Pinkie supposedly being dead, she broke down.

No... everything... my wings, my reputation, my best friend... Omigosh. I don't even... This... Just kill me.

"So, basically, we must get out of this bucking place." Twilight let out a shaky sigh.

"M-my... life is ruined..." Rainbow Dash started moaning and muttering unintelligible things.

"Rainbow, we need to get out. This is horrible." Rainbow Dash grimaced, and her mouth fell open.

"...NO."

"What... Rainbow Dash, what are you sa-"

"NONONONONO, I love it in here. Very comfy. So spacy." Her facial expression turned into a wide grin.

"Um, no, Dashie. We must get out. It's dangerous..." Fluttershy put a hoof on Rainbow's back, which she then shoved off, startling Fluttershy.

"DON'T TOUCH ME! My decision. I stay, stay, stay." She scooted away, grinning eagerly, as if the Wonderbolts would pop out of nowhere.

"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight started pushing Rainbow Dash in the way to the entrance.

"NONONONONONONONO, STOP!" Rainbow smacked the unicorn and curled into a fetal position, muttering unintelligible things.

"R-Rainbow... Why would you hit me?" Twilight glanced at her hoof, which was bruised.

"Get. Away."

"No."

"Yes."

"If you come with me, out."

"NEVER, I LOVE IT HERE... SO GREAT, SO AWESOME..." Twilight and Fluttershy sighed. Rainbow Dash then noticed the ponies staring. She screamed and assaulted Twilight. She jumped and smacked her in the face, screaming and shrieking. Fluttershy yelled and tried to calm down Dashie. Twilight coughed up blood, trying to yell. She tried to yell, but the blood in her mouth prevented her and a gurgling sound came out. Rainbow Dash pummeled her until Twilight could barely breathe. RAinbow Dash stood up and admired her work. Her hoof was chipped from hitting Twilight, but that wouldn't matter.

"Dash... W-why..." Twilight coughed up blood, splattering the mirror next to her with blood, scaring Fluttershy. She screamed and ran. Rainbow ignored that, grinning, loving the moment.

Thud. Fluttershy hit a mirror in her run. She had to get out. Rainbow Dash could kill her. She had to warn the others, They would die...

"Hey, Fluttershy, like my lipstick?" Rainbow Dash was behind her, wearing a coat of Twilight's blood on her lips. She smiled brightly. "Want some, Flutty?"

Fluttershy stopped. She gasped. She broke into tears.

"RAINBOW, W-WHY? I THOUGHT *hiccup* y... I th-h-h.... I thought you loved us."

"Loving? I've never heard of that." With those words she took her hooves out from behind her back, and in her grasp was Twilight's horn.

"I thought I should have a souvenir. Isn't it delightful?" Dashie faked a smile. She broke a mirror with the horn and grabbed a shard.

"Hmm... I lost my wing; hey Fluttershy, want to donate? It'd be really loyal and kind."

"N-N-NO, Please, D-Dashie..."

"Too bad." She trotted over to the horrified pegasus and slashed at her wing, stabbing the bone.

"AAAAAAAAAAH, PLEASE STOP, SWEET CELESTIA, MY WING...." Fluttershy grimaced, and soon fainted out of pure pain. Or she was dead. Rainbow Dash smiled, and kept cutting.
