Twilight was walking with Rarity one day. Twilight had a lot running through her mind but she made sure that Rarity wouldn't notice that. Rarity went on about new dresses she was working on and Twilight made sure to respond like normal. Twilight wanted to tell Rarity that she had a crush on her but she was to afraid to do it.
Soon they both sat down on a bench and Twilight wanted to confess to Rarity about her love but was to afraid to say what she had to say. She didn't know if Rarity would agree to it or not. She had no idea on what to do. She looked over at Rarity who was still talking.
Soon they came to a bench in the town square and Twilight wondered if she should tell Rarity about her crush or not. Rarity became quiet and watched the clouds while smiling. Her being quiet gave Twilight some time to think on what to say.
She had no idea if she should keep it a secret or tell Rarity. And if she did keep it a secret how long should she keep it as a secret. She wondered who Rarity liked. Soon Rarity and Twilight both went back to their homes. When Twilight got home she went up to her room to avoid Spike.
When she got to her room she closed her door and sat down on her bed and thought on what to do with her crush. She really didn't want to ask Rarity who she had a crush on as it was her business. Rarity hasn't told Twilight who she had a crush on.
Twilights heart started to break as she thought on the possibility of Rarity already dating a stallion. She sighed knowing that Rarity wouldn't want to go on a date with her. She wouldn't be able to tell anyway. She has never noticed if Rarity has flirted with her or not.
Twilight thought of Rarity and sighed sadly. She wondered if she should confess to Rarity. She thought on it for a bit and decided that she would. She settled on doing it at a cafe so she went over to Rarities. When she got there she knocked on Rarities door.
Rarity opened the door and saw Twilight. Twilight spoke.
"Do you want to go to a cafe and have lunch?" Twilight asked. Rarity thought for a few seconds and spoke.
"Sure we can I'm not busy or anything. I don't have any customers so I can go." Rarity said smiling. Twilight was glad that Rarity agreed now she needed to focus on having a good night with Rarity and confess her feelings to the one that she loved.
Twilight and Rarity both started to walk to Canterlot as Twilight wanted to take Rarity to someplace that she liked. They both talked about the day as they walked.
"So what have you been doing?" Rarity asked. Twilight blushed as she had been doing nothing all day except for thinking about Rarity.
"Just relaxing. What have you been doing?" Twilight asked.
"Just working on some fabric and reading a magazine." Rarity said. Twilight was surprised to know that Rarity also had a simple day just like her. They both continued to walk to the diner. Soon they got there and ordered from some menus. They both talked while they waited.
"Hear from our friends?" Rarity asked. Twilight nodded.
"Rainbow Dash sent me the new edition of Daring Do." Twilight remarked. Rarity raised an eyebrow.
"You read those books?" Rarity asked. Twilight stared at her with look of disbelief as she couldn't believe what Rarity just asked as she loved the Daring Do series. She shook her head an spoke.
"Uhhhh....yeah I love A.K. Yearling." Twilight said. Rarity shrugged to herself and they both continued to speak.
"Do you order new books for your library every once in a while?" Rarity asked. Twilight nodded.
"Yes I do actually. Any new books that are released I order for the library. I have to keep the library up to date." Twilight said. Rarity nodded understandingly. Soon they both got their food and they both ate. Twilight wondered about telling Rarity about her crush.
She wondered how Rarity would react. She was scared of rejection but she was also tired of waiting. She couldn't keep it a secret anymore as it was bugging her conscience. She looked at Rarity and as she looked at Rarities beautiful coat and mane as her heart constricted in pain.
She couldn't bear the wait. She continued to eat as Rarity also continued to eat. She wondered what Rarity was thinking about. She didn't know if Rarity was thinking about her or some other stallion. Her and Rarity both ate their food as Twilight thought about Rarity.
As soon as they finished eating Twilight decided she couldn't take it anymore and so she decided to tell Rarity. The waiter took their dishes away and Rarity paid for the meal so Twilight didn't have to. Twilight decided to get it over with.
"Rarity I have something important to tell you. It's hard to say it." Twilight said looking at her. Rarity smiled.
"Well just say it darling! I'll understand." Rarity said. Twilights heart constricted again. She was so nervous. She looked at Rarity as Rarity gave her full attention. She decided to let the secret loose.
"Rarity...I have a crush on you." Twilight confessed. She hid her face so she couldn't see Rarities reaction. She hoped that Rarity wouldn't walk out on her. Rarity lifted Twilights face and spoke.
"I do to actually. I was wondering when you were going to spill the beans." Rarity said. Twilight felt overjoyed.
"You want to go out?" Rarity asked. Twilight noticed that it went quick. She was lucky that it was so easy.
"I do!! Rarity I love you so much!!" Twilight cheered crying tears of happiness. Rarity went around and hugged her and kissed her on the lips.
"Then let's go out!" Rarity exclaimed. Twilight giggled.
"Yes mam!" Twilight giggled jokingly. They both kissed as they entered a relationship. Twilight was finally with her crush as Rarity was also finally with her crush. They were both happy.
