It was big, and fun, and crazy, and--” “We know, darling,” Rarity cut in, “We were all there, remember? Now, about my week.” She sipped her tea before continuing. “I just designed a new line of dresses. Though I’m quite excited about it, I’m a bit worried about Opal. She’s been acting up quite a lot recently.” Fluttershy’s eyes widened. “Have you been feeding her correctly?” She asked, “Have the crusaders gone adventuring with her? I know that they get into a lot of things every time… Oh, and also--” “And my Pinkie Sense has been going bonkers, too! What if they’re signs that we’ll have to fight another really bad meanie without the Elements of Harmony and since we’re the spirits of them we’d have to find two extra Elements or something to activate the rest of the Elements to defeat the bad guy?!” Confused looks were shot between the mares. Finally, Rainbow broke the silence, laughing at the absurdity of what Pinkie had mentioned. Applejack followed up, continuing with what they had been discussing earlier on. “About me. The Apple family’s been pretty busy these days with the harvest, and Ah’ve been pretty busy myself.” Dash’s ears perked at the mention of the harvest. “Is it doing well?” She asked, “Does that mean there’s extra cider this year?” Applejack sighed, eyeing the clock. “Maybe,” she responded. “My goodness, is it gettin’ late. Ah’d better leave now.” Fluttershy nodded in agreement. “Same here. I normally don’t leave the animals for this long either...” The two mares left, shouting out “Bye!” in unison as they did so. As the rest watched the two depart, Rarity cleared her throat. “Ahem. Speaking of animals,” she began, “Sweetie Belle should probably be supervised as well. I don’t want her to begin somehow burning juice while I’m away.” She silently stood up, and left the room. The three remaining ponies watched as Rarity trotted out as well. For a moment there was nothing but silence. That is, until Pinkie disappeared in a puff of pink fuzz. Spike glanced down at the filled table, before sighing as he grabbed the empty cups and soda cans and left for the kitchen. Which, of course, left the room populated with only the two remaining mares. “Hey Rainbow,” Twilight suddenly began, “since Spike is cleaning the dishes, would you be my scribe for a moment?” Rainbow shrugged. “Sure, why not?” she responded. She flew out the room, returning quickly with a quill and a fresh sheet of parchment tucked beneath her wings. “So… it’s to who?” Rainbow asked, readying the quill in her mouth. Twilight corrected her. “It’s to whom.” Rainbow didn’t understand Twilight’s correction. “Wait, have you ever told me about this ‘Hoom’ guy before?” Twilight shot a deadpan glare at the pegasus. Rainbow blankly stared back for a second before she understood what Twilight had meant. “Oh yeah. Sure. Just start talking and I’ll write.” Twilight nodded, and began with a smug, “Dear Celestia…” “Sincerely… do you know how that’s spelled? It’s S-I-N-C-E-R-E-L--” “Do you really have to spell everything?” Rainbow sighed, rubbing her face with her hooves. Twilight smirked. “I wasn’t spelling ‘everything’, I was spelling ‘sincerely’. Now, as I was saying--” “No. Stop it!” Rainbow yelled, “Just… stop!” In response to Rainbow’s reaction, Twilight continued speaking. “Rainbow, I understand that you don’t like this, but we don’t want another one of those ‘Sinseerly’ disasters again, do we now?” Rainbow shrugged. “Well… yeah. Okay, that’s fair.” As she finished the letter, she glanced back up at Twilight. “By the way, how are you gonna send this to the Princess without Spike’s dragonfire?” “A spell,” Twilight responded, lifting the scroll into her grasp. Her horn briefly grew brighter for a second before the scroll exploded into a miniature storm of purple sparks and smoke. “See?” Rainbow’s jaw dropped in awe. Twilight chuckled, before continuing, “A Lacus uses too much energy for such a long range. However, a Lacus Draco uses the net of dragon magic, which is much less energy-intensive, though it can only transport things to ot-" "Yeah, yeah," Rainbow Dash interrupted, "I don't need another list of all teleportation spells and why you should use them or not. What was that letter about anyway?" Twilight shot a confused look at her. "Didn't you just hear me say- and spell- everything?" Dash responded with another question; "How am I supposed to understand it with you using words like "Calamity" or "Precipice"?" Twilight rolled her eyes at Rainbow's lack of a decently-sized vocabulary. "Right. Basically I'm worried that Pinkie's complicated prediction has a source of truth, like it has had a few times before." Rainbow Dash burst out into a laughing fit, only awkwardly stopping when she realized Twilight wasn't laughing. "Oh, you're serious?" Twilight nodded. Dash stretched her wings. "Well, I'd better get ready for this "Element of Harmony scavenger hunt"," she said before flying away snickering. Twilight barely heard her saying "Scavenger hunt. Yeah, right."
