A completely different siren

I was looking at Rain after she had slapped me. I had gotten tense in the process. “Cloud, you can’t be acting that way to other females!” She says to me, causing me to tense even more. “Last time I knew, we weren’t really dating! In fact, I know someone who appreciate me for who I am!” I say. “Who?” She asks. The other six at this point have completely forgotten about us. “You wanna know who?!” I ask. “Yes I do!” She replies, snapping just like me. “Vice Principal Luna!” I say when she comes into the cafeteria. “Vice Principal Luna?! Are you crazy?!” She asks, then I tell her to look behind her. “Oh! Vice Principal Luna, so good to see you!” She says nervously. The entire cafeteria looks at her. “What is going on in here?!” She asks. “Nothing. All of us decided that it would be nice if the entire school held a Battle of the Bands as a fundraiser.” The eight of us say in unison. “Alright. We’ll hold it in a few days.” Luna says as she then leaves the cafeteria. “That was a close one.” I say. Rain looks at me again. “What were you saying about who you could get?” She asks, playfully. “Nothing.” I say, gathering up my stuff & following after Luna. I catch up with her. “Vice Principal Luna!” I call out. “What do you want?” She asks with a touch of harshness in her voice. “I was wondering if you would like to go to a movie together or have some dinner sometime?” I ask. “You know that students & teachers aren’t supposed to date, right?” She asks. “Yes, but you’re not a teacher, you’re the vice principal.” I say. “You’re right on that one. Tell you what, I’ll give you my number so that way we can talk outside of school.” She says, taking out a piece of paper & a pencil. Then she writes her number down. After she does so, she signs it, then gives it to me. “Thanks Luna, I mean Vice Principal Luna.” I say. “You’re welcome, now get back to class or I’m going to have to give you a detention.” She says. “Alright.” I say as I then leave.

My fourth period class was English. I arrived to class, I put my stuff down by my seat. I looked at Rain with a smirk, then I turned my attention towards the front of the classroom as the teacher walked in. I did the assignment, turned it in, then went back to my seat. “Who looks stupid now?” I ask Rain as I hand her Vice Principal Luna’s number. “How did you get her number?” She asks. “I just walked up to her, asked if she would like to catch a movie or grab dinner sometime. Of course she pulled out the card about teachers & students not being allowed to date, but I countered it by saying that she’s not a teacher but the vice principal. So she gave in & gave me her number.” I say with a smug look. She hands me her number back, I pocket it. Allegro, Soprano, Sonata, and Aria look at me. Allegro & Soprano give me the thumbs up sign, Sonata & Aria look unimpressed. I then just sit back in my seat as I wait for the bell to ring, it does after 10 minutes. I leave with the five of them following close behind. We turn the corner to go to our history class, we all see Adante kissing Adagio. Out of instinct I pull out my phone & takes a picture of the two of them. I then put my phone away, I walk quietly as I can past the two of them. Adante breaks the kiss after the six of us walk past. “Wow, Adagio, you’re a pretty good kisser.” Adante says. “I could say the same about you Adante.” Dagi says. “We might as well get to our next class.” Dante says to Dagi. “Yeah, we better.” She says, taking his hand into her’s. Upon entering our history class, I remembered that I had forgotten my backpack, I quickly run out of the classroom, gets it then I run all the back to my history class. I make it before the bell rings. I get into my seat, gets out a history book, opens it, does the work, then turns it in.

I get out my phone, then I nudge Rain. “Can you give me Dagi’s number?” I ask, she sighs & puts her number into my phone. I then make a group text chat, I pull up the picture of Alley kissing Dagi in the hallway on my way to history. I send them the picture with a text that says: “Seems like I was right about that rule of sirens dating after all.” I put my phone away, then the bell rings. The six of us leave, we make our way to our fifth period. We pass Dante & Dagi in the hall, Dante picks me from the group & tries to punch me, but I catch his fist in my hand. He tries for a right hook, I catch that punch as well. Then I twist his arms & I kick him away from me. “I don’t want to fight you Dante!” I say. “Too late for that!” He says getting up, then he tries to football tackle me, but I move out of the way, causing him to go into the locker behind me. I pick him up by his shirt, he tries punching me again. “A true leader never fights unless his or her leadership is challenged!” I say as I then throw him into Dagi. The both of them fall down. I then leave, quickly. The other five follows. When I get from Dante & Dagi, I notice that the six of us haven’t ate yet. “Good thing this school is open campus. Let’s go before Dante tries to start shit again.” I say, putting my hood up. The other five do the same as well. I head for the door when a crumpled piece of paper is thrown at me. I turn around quickly, with a throwing knife in my fingers. “Who threw that?!” I ask. No response, I put the knife back into it’s holster. The six of us leave, we head to the same diner the four of us guys started at in. We actually order something this time, we get our food, eats it, I pay, leaves, goes back to school.

Upon arriving back at school, I apologize to Dagi, but not Dante. Dagi is cool with me as she understood that I didn't mean to throw Alley at her. “So, Dagi, are the two of you an item or what?” I ask, hoping to not get slapped. Thankfully I don’t get slapped, instead she just says: “Yeah, we’re together. Alley really understands me.” She says as we walk together to our gym class. We arrive in gym class, I see the same rainbow haired girl from before, looking absolutely stunning in her gym attire. Soprano, Allegro, and I go to the locker room to change into shorts & a t-shirt, we leave to see the girls in their’s. I notice that it’s guys against girls in dodgeball. “Well this shouldn’t be too hard.” Allegro says. Soprano & I agree. Teacher blows on the whistle, the rainbow haired girl gets a bunch of the balls & gives them to her friends as she then starts throwing them at us, the three of us guys catch the balls, while the others gets hit with them, getting ‘out’. After about fifteen minutes, only us three guys, the rainbow haired girl, and a girl that has spoken in a country accent the entire game, are left. “Alright Rainbow, seems like we got our work cut out fer us.” The girl with the country accent says to Rainbow. “Well duh AJ! These guys are good!” Rainbow says to AJ. Next thing AJ knows, she gets hit with a ball that I threw. “Looks like it’s three against one, Rainbow.” I say with a sly smile on my face. She throws a ball at Allegro, but Soprano leaps in front & gets out for Allegro. “Now it’s two on one.” She says, getting two balls thrown at her. She catches Allegro's but deflects mine. “Now, it's one on one.” I say, gripping my ball as tight as I can without popping it. Then we throw our balls at each other at the same time, the pass each other in midair, I catch Rainbow’s, she looks stunned as my ball then hits her right between the eyes, knocking her down. Bell rings, changes quickly, gets to class, puts deodorant on, sits down in our Health class.

As everyone is taking their seats, I notice that all eight of us are taking the same class for our seventh period. We do our stuff for Health, bell rings for the last time of the day, all eight of us sirens & the other students leave to go home. As I am making my way down the steps, Adante comes up to me & pushes me down the rest of the stairs. I get up, looking at him as if I want to kill him, but I remember what Dagi said, and I turn around & walk away, going to our house. When I arrive at our house, I notice that someone has already unlocked the door, I unsheathe one of my blades as I slowly make my way inside. I notice that it was Sonata making tacos in our kitchen. I sheathe my blade when I know it was her. “Sonata, why are you making tacos in our kitchen?” I ask, when I mean by our, I mean the four of us guys. “This is our house. What are you doing in it?” She asks. “I live here. What are you doing here?” I ask. “I live here as well.” She says. Then Allegro & Adagio walk in, holding hands. “Alley! What are they doing in our house?!” I ask. “Sonata, did you already explain to Cloud that the eight of us live here, together?” Dante & Dagi ask Sonata. “I was just getting to that before the two of you walked in.” She says, finishing making taco meat. “Dante! You’re letting them live with us?!” I ask surprised. “Isn’t that what I just said?” He says. “Can you four keep it down? We’re trying to go to sleep!” Rain, Allegro, and Aria say. “It’s four in the afternoon! How can you three be tired?!” Dagi says. “We’re the gothic/emo ones! Remember?” They say. “I’m the same way, but I’m not going to sleep right now!” I say. “Whatever!” They say. “Is Sonata making tacos?” I hear Soprano ask from his room. “Yeah, I’m making tacos!” Sonata says.
