The Wrong Kind of Fortune
Standing beyond the entrance of the cave, sheltered from the raging elements outside, Latch hugged herself tightly, letting off a mild shiver. Moments ago she'd been wandered -- more or less running amid a brewing storm, seeking some form of shelter from the powerful and ever-growing winds and the dark, overhanging clouds above. It was a sure sign of a powerful storm, given the amount of times she’d been buffeted with pebbles, twigs, and all manner of small refuse that littered this forest.
As the winds raged on, howling, rocking the tops of the trees to and fro outside the cave, she rubbed one of her arms, nursing a minor bruise she’d felt. She’d consider it lucky if this storm blew over quickly and didn’t go any further. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on her side in this instance. This storm looked going nowhere fast as she glanced outside. She was ill-dressed to brave it openly.
“The one time I decide to get moving at first light and this happens…” she muttered. Long evenings and nights with little sleep were truly tiresome; equally annoying, as a matter of fact.
Turning her head towards the darkness along her left, she noted (with the minor reflection of light) that it went deeper - farther, perhaps lower beneath Equestria’s crust by the looks of things. Turning the opposing way, looking towards the clouds that blackened, flashing with anger and light that echoed throughout the sky, she flinched as the clouds started to let off a downpour. There was no way she’d be able to go out there now.
Facing towards the shadows once more, she saw a flash of lightning behind her once more; the sky rumbling as the winds started to pick up. Blinking, she managed to catch a very slight glimpse of a winding path further beyond. Humming to herself, she pondered what lie in wait for her, of the path that led deeper into the dark. She leaned over on her hooves, sticking her muzzle partially in the air as she tried to get a better view. Another flash, another rumble amid the skies. The brief, albeit bright flash was just enough to strengthen the suspicion she had.
Neither a draft or gust of wind made it far into her shelter; she knew there had to be an eventual end to that winding path. However, of what awaited her only furthered her curiosity. Perhaps it could be someone’s dwelling, a place of treasure, a den of a dragon, a mine… or it could be none of that. The prospect of fortune and good tidings however, outweighed the possibility of disappointment. She had to see where it took her.
“Nothing ventured, nothing gained.” Her words carrying out with a sigh, she stepped away from the wall. Straightening her posture, she kept her left hand wrapped loosely around her blade’s handle. She was glad she kept her means of security so close.
Beginning with a single step into the dark, she began her venture, curiosity and the prospect of fortune spurring her on. With the light of the outside world becoming negligible (that of lightning and sun), the deeper she went, the darker it became. Eventually, she was left to her thoughts and musings as she wandered amid the pitch black. All the while, as she walked, each step became more and more measured, careful, as she made her way deeper.
Tracing her hand free hand along wall to her right, she followed the steady curve that took her deeper. As she followed, she couldn’t help but to humor the thought more on what was perhaps ahead. The idea of finding treasure of some sort made her a bit excited, adding a minor spring in her step. Finding some measure of wealth would be at least enough to get her situated someplace instead of running around like this all the time.
Pausing, stopping as the rough surface beneath her fingers began to slowly straighten out, she hesitated as she saw a most unusual sight ahead. Narrowing her gaze, she fixated herself on the faint glow she was seeing further ahead. Drumming her fingers against her blade’s handle, she hummed. It was strange that there was an illumination this far down (but really, she knew to expect it), equally stranger however, was the fact of its purple color.
Keeping her sights trained on the distant light, while occasionally glancing back at the stony floor, she kept most of her attention on the light the grew stronger with each passing minute of her approach. As the walls straightened out alongside her, so too did the terrain change. Standing at the very edge of said change, stone had turned to a purple slime that overlapped it not a few steps away. Beyond that, the area ahead dripped, flowed and oozed with the same sort of slimy fluid the floor was made out of, covering every inch of stone from ceiling to floor. It made her feel uneasy.
The sensation stemming from her gut, always reminding her of treacherous situations at hand, she sneered. Trying to set aside and ignore the danger she felt looming ahead, she felt the same that there was something good ahead - something beyond this new area. She just had to power through this and see her curiosity and vague ideas come to fruition.
“Shouldn’t be far now…” She whispered, trying to convince herself of otherwise turning tail. “I just have to get through this… slime, and hope it opens up into some sort of chamber or cavern.”
Taking several deep breaths, steeling herself with both mental preparation and bodily, she stepped onto the fluid. Almost immediately, she was met with resistance. Despite the slimy and semi-reflective texture of the surface (as well as the glow that came from it), it felt relatively solid. Looking down at her hooves, stepping and hopping in place. Smirking in amusement, she was beyond surprised that it held up so well.
Lifting her head and looking further into the shadow between the illuminated walls, she shelved the thoughts involving the properties of the new floor. Blowing out a bit of air, maintaining her resolve, she set forth once more.
After a few long minutes of walking, the hard surface gave way to something more softer, one that left partial indent of her hoofprints as she walked on. However, with the change came a feeling ever familiar with - a fuzz at the back of her neck. Something, or someone was following her.
Glancing to her left, towards the wall, attempting to see who or what was behind her, she spied nary a figure or being to be had. Humming beneath a snort, the feeling lingered as she pressed on, growing in intensity. Fidgeting, drumming her fingers more anxiously on her her blade’s handle, Latch tightened her grip. Knowing that whatever was behind her was advancing, she started to take measured breaths, calming herself as she slowed, coming to an eventual stop.
Standing stock still amid the purple and black length of tunnel, felt the furs on her neck stand on end as she remained still. Feeling her body tense up, readying for her to confront her follower, she dropped to the floor. Her initial movement coming off as a blur, she quickly kicked off to the side, rolling head over heels. Catching herself, digging her hand into the slime as she was now crouched, she threw her gaze up almost immediately, staring in the general area of where she once stood. Unsheathing her blade with the motion, she kept it level alongside her right.
Mere inches behind from where she once stood was an orb. Black in color, solid, and reflective. She both guessed that this was the thing that was following her, and it as well was made of the same stuff the floor was to some degree. Standing up, feeling a bit of the goo cling to her hand, she kept her eyes trained on the strange orb.
“What in the… so you’ve been following me?” Asking the question to nobody in particular, she unconsciously wiped off the slime on her back. She’d not kept track of how long she had the feeling, but if this was following her, it had to have been the moment she stepped into here.
Bringing her free hand forward, as well as her blade, she advanced towards it, sparing no second glances to the area around her. As she was almost immediately a step away from it - the orb making no such attempts to move - she lowered her guard, raising her hand out to touch it. As her hand was no more than an inch away from it, she felt her ears perk up, sensing a sudden change to the surrounding air.
Pulling her hand away, she glanced to her right, deeper into the cave. Immediately, it was a cause for alarm as she saw several similar orbs advancing on her, forcing her to adopt a stance in preparation. Hefting her blade out in front of her, she brought her free hand behind her back, tucking it just above her tail as she waited for their approach. Lifting her blade to meet of their unrelenting advance, she immediately felt her body recoil, being dragged down to the ground as her rapier was yanked free from her hand.
Looking up, seeing the once idle orb pulling it further and further away from her, she witnessed it eventually stop and slink back into the strange denizen she’d stumbled upon. Her attention shifting, of the immediate threat at hand, she saw that the orbs were now angling themselves towards her. Growling with a hard sneer, she pulled free her dagger from its sheathe attached to her thigh. Hopping onto her hooves, she threw her hand and blade forward in an arc, driving it through one of the orbs and cutting it apart with ease.
With a grunt, she felt another impact similar to the one she had prior, it of course, yanking and pulling her blade away from her. Letting go, giving up on something so small, she stumbled forward, running with the orbs in tow. As she ran, she felt each and every single shove that came from the orb, of which she felt her clothing being stripped away piece by piece.
“Get off of me!” Her cry echoing throughout the tunnel, she shook off another orb as it clung to, and tore off another piece of her clothing. Left with her leggings, part of her top, and what was her waistband, she felt her cheeks flush red, frustration and embarrassment making it so.
Diving for her blade, feeling the last of the orbs withdraw with her scraps, she slid across the surface, stopping several feet shy of her blade. Getting onto her hands and knees, she sprung forward one final time. Relief washing over her with the handle of her rapier within reach, she reeled, flinching as another orb appeared before her. It giving her just enough pause, she quickly felt her gaze locked with that of this new orb before her.
Unlike the others, this one sported a single eye, one that was pink in color, and fixated with her own gaze. Feeling a bit of paralysis overtake her limbs, making her freeze, she noticed how hard and angry of a stare it was giving her. Internally, she felt her body backing down, the longer she remained fixated on it as it was on her. Blinking, almost lapsing from its trance, she witnessed its non-existent brow furrow, causing her to gasp from the intensifying glare.
Staring deep into its iris, she felt her heart calming to a steady thrum; both her mind and body relaxing with the submission she was feeling. Despite how angry it seemed - with her putting up a fight and venturing in their domain, she felt a presence on her mind, one that seemed somewhat elated with her being there. Groaning weakly, she attempted to will her body to move, moving something in defiance of this presence that was upon her. She wanted to shut her eyes, she wanted to shake her head, she wanted to get up and run… but her body resisted.
Feeling her thoughts run astray, falling in line with what the orb perhaps wanted, her thoughts were then assaulted - bombarded with a ceaseless amount of noise and chatter. Her wits and senses were flooded with all manner of both suggestions and thoughts relating to her own submission. Corruption, pleasure, loving all that was rubbery and shiny, to birth more of these wondrous orbs with her body… and to give herself to The Matron.
As the final suggestion came upon her mind, she felt… calm. Her thoughts became clear, and with it, her new desires: she no longer wanted to resist, she no longer wanted to put up a struggle… she realized what she wanted, and she wanted to serve this hive. She wanted to serve The Matron.
As though the orb knew and understood her altered thoughts, it ceased its powerful stare. Drifting off to the corners of her vision, she felt an invasive presence between her legs, one that was spreading apart her labia. With a gasp, it forced herself within her, making her head roll back as immediately, she felt awash with pleasure. Shutting her eyes and moaning, she shivered, from both the wondrous sensation she was experiencing, and the chill she felt from within her
All around her, another set of orbs had appeared, willing to aid in her corruption in servitude for the Matron. Panting, she shakily stood onto her hooves, shuddering and panting as one by one, she felt the orbs envelope her appendages; the latex crawling crawling up her body, inside and out as her hands and hooves were covered in the rubbery goo. Lurching forward, she curled her knees inward, letting out a hot pant as she felt her Orb exploring her insides, making her whine in desperation for more.
Panting like a mare in heat, she quaked, all the while as a steady stream of pink-colored saliva dripped from her tongue. Bowing her head, she let her newly found desires of domination and corruption surface as she moaned, feeling her Orb creep into her cervix, engorging her belly to an immense size and overloading her senses with pure, unrelenting pleasure. Falling to her knees, she arched her back against the floor, crying out in absolute pleasure as she came. Panting, and whining between breathes, a steady stream of pink fluid had begun dripping from her nethers, flowing onto the floor.
Gasping, feeling her body shake like a leaf beneath the unrelenting pleasure she felt upon her once more, she bowed her head to the floor as she felt the creeping latex reach her breasts, filling and inflating them to double their original size. Panting, she shakily got onto her hooves, all the while as her breasts now leaked with a familiar pink fluid, one shared with her saliva and her femcum. Caressing her belly, feeling the eye of her orb elated with her transformation, Latch couldn’t help but to giggle. She’d given into pleasure, she’d given into submission, she’d given into The Matron… and she honestly couldn’t be any happier with her choice.
