Rocket Comes to Town

The burgundy pony looked over the hill, and stretched his wings under his shirt. He was moving into Ponyville. He started walking, and then grabbed his suitcase with his mouth. He mumbled, "I've heard about these Elements of Harmony, and they live here? This should be great."

As soon as he got through the gate, a small orange pegasus ran in front of him. He dropped his case, and saw two other fillies running after her. "Hey there, mister!" A small yellow earth pony with red hair and a HUGE bow said. "Ah' ain't seen you b'fore! Mah name's Applebloom! Wha's your's?" Her eyes widened and she smiled. The burgundy pony smiled. "My name's Rocket. What's your friends names?" "I'm Scootaloo!" The orange filly said, and jumped and tried to fly, but landed on her flank. "And my name's Sweetie Belle!" The white filly smiled. An identical looking unicorn walked out of a nearby house. "You little rascals! Tearing up my.. Oh, hello! I don't believe I've seen you before!" "Hey, sis, this is Rocket! He just moved here!" Sweetie Belle told her sister. The unicorn smiled and said, "Hello, my name's Rarity! Welcome to Ponyville!"

Rocket sat in Rarity's boutique, sipping some tea she made him. "So, what brings you to Ponyville?" She asked. He blushed and said, "Well, uh, my house, kinda, got destroyed.." Rarity gasped dramatically. "Whyever so?" "Well, I've lived in Canterlot since I was 3, and when the changelings came, they crushed my house." Rocket's voice got smaller near the end of his sentence. "Oh my, where are you living now?" Rarity asked inquisitively. "I bought a house next to the library." Hopefully, it'll be quiet there." Rarity chuckled and said, "Well, that's not going to happen." Rocket raised an eyebrow. "Why?" "Well, you probably won't believe me, but.... I'm the Element of Generosity." Rocket stifled a laugh, but he couldn't hold it, and fell out of his chair, laughing hysterically. Rarity rolled her eyes. "Oh my.. This may take a while.."

Rarity walked into the library, greeted by the Mane 6. Twilight was arranging books in the top shelf. Pinkie was doing... whatever Pinkie does. Applejack was reading a book on how to better your apple bucking and munching on an apple. Rainbow Dash was flying with Fluttershy in circles around the ceiling. "Gir-irls!" Rarity chimed. "I have someone I want you to meet!" "Ooo, who?" Pinkie exclaimed. Rocket showed his head form behind Rarity. "Uhhmm.. Who's that?" Twilight asked. "I'm...romm..." Rocket muttered. "I'm sorry, I don't think they heard that." Rarity said. "Yeah, he sounds like Fluttershy!" Rainbow laughed from the ceiling. Fluttershy glared at her, then squealed like she was sorry. "I'm.. Rocket.." Rocket mumbled loud enough for them to hear.
