//-------------------------------------------------------// Zombies in Ponyville. -by Mr. Camera Pony- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// How it Began //-------------------------------------------------------// How it Began Chapter One: How it Began Point of View: Applebloom During the last lesson in class, which today was about science, which I didn't care for much, so, I started to wonder what we were going to do after school. I also hoped that it wasn't more variations on other dangerous stunts that we'd done other times. With nothing else to do, I kind of listened or the rest of class. As I walked out of class, I looked around for my friends. Pretty soon, after the crowd got smaller, I found that they were standing behind, and Rarity was talking to them. "...So, are you going to come?" Rarity asked. Sweetie belle seemed sure of her sister's suggestion, and would have spoken, except Scootaloo started talking first."Um... I don't know." As i got to them, Sweetie Belle asked me, "Do you want to go?" However, upon seeing the odd look on my face, she said "Oh, sorry. Rarity is going over to Twilight's library to pull a prank on Spike." I asked her to tell me more, but Rarity stepped forward and answered for Sweetie Belle. "Twilight learned a new spell that will make me look exactly like a zombie. I'm just going to pop out and scare him." I only asked one question even though i had more. "Why'd she pick you?" "Oh, yes." she answered." Its because the spell will look best on a pony with a white coat.", pointing at herself. I accepted her answer, even though, if i knew to, I would have tried to convince her out of it."Sounds like fun." I said "So, yes." I could tell that sweetie belle was happy that I approved. Scootaloo was the only one to disagree. " Come on, guys! Maybe, we would get our cutie marks today!" Lately, she had wanted her cutie mark more than ever, probably because every pony at school had chosen her to pick on. I felt a bit sorry for her, but this sounded like a lot more fun than her crazy ideas like tight rope walking, and one of the worst ones yet, wood cutting. So, I was happy to not have to do one of her crazy new ideas of how to get covered in sap and pine needles. If only I knew how dangerous this would be. So, to shut her up, I just said "Maybe y'all get cutie marks as pranksters." As we walked to Twilight's library, I wondered if I'd find a prank for one of us instead of Spike, involving something jumping out at us. I also wondered if any pony else would be there. But, when we got there, there was no sign of Rainbow or Pinkie. "I sent Spike out to do something. While hes gone, I'm going to prepare a great prank for him." Twilight said. Rarity stepped forward and told Twilight, "They already know." During the silence in the room, we all heard the muffled sound of Spike talking to some pony near the door. "Hurry, Twilight! Spike is almost here!" Rarity said to Twilight, who was reviewing a book on her table, than levitated it to the higher floor. Rarity climbed up the first few steps, and added, "You three come up here." I walked to the steps and climbed up, with Scootaloo behind me, and Sweetie Belle behind her. Twilight's horn glowed for a second, along with all of Rarity, and then, in the blink of an eye, Rarity looked green, as I'd imagined, but, nothing else. I was a bit disappointed, but, then, Twilight casted another spell that made a realistic gash in Rarity's head. I thought about writing a note to myself to ask Twilight to make me look like that for the next nightmare night. A few seconds later, Spike walked in the door, holding a small stack of paper, and a hand full of money, and walked toward Twilight. "Hi, Twilight" he said and placed his stuff on the table. He turned his head around to up where we were, and where Rarity was. Before he could do anything, Rarity was soaring trough the air towards him. He dodged the main impact, but was still smacked hard by her right hoof. Suddenly, a magic barrier came up to block our view, then, we were teleported outside. I looked in through a window to see what was happening, only to see another magical barrier blocking my view. I probably wouldn't have wanted to look anyway. I saw the the other two fillies trying to look in. I heard Twilight yelling at Rarity, but, with no response. For about a minute, everything became silent. Then, all the commotion started again. The door opened enough to let me see Spike attempting to flee the house. He failed , and Rarity caught up and bit his tail to fling him to the other side of the room, towards Twilight. Twilight couldn't run from the zombie Spike next to her. He used his claws to make a small cut on Twilight's neck. I could see various shades of magical purple light coming from her neck as she tried to stop the infection. Unfortunately, in a few seconds, I could see her giving up and turning into a zombie. As I looked around, I saw Sweetie Belle staring at the opening in the door. I motioned to run away, but, Sweetie Belle just stayed for a bit, then, turning to look at me, and walked towards me. I backed up, expecting her to be a zombie, but, then, she said "Let's go to Canterlot.", and answered my question before I could ask it "It was Twilight's last order." She seemed sad. She motioned for me and Scootaloo to follow her. After a few moments of silence, Scootaloo was the first to talk. "Does any pony know what happened? Or was that just an act to prank us?" We just shook our heads. After about 10 minutes, we finally reached the train station. Normally, we probably would have reached the station in under half the time, but, we followed Sweetie Belle's slow walk. When we reached the small clearing near the train, we, were lucky enough for there to already there. As we walked up to the train, this time, with Scootaloo in front, a pony, who I could guess worked on the train stopped her. "What are you three doing here?" he asked "Don't you have school tomorrow?" None of us had a good excuse, so, we backed out of the train and turned away and walked away without saying a word to him. We all sighed at the same time. "Now, what are we going to do?" Asked Scootaloo. I had no idea how to get to canterlot if we couldn't take a train. So, I shook my head. "hmm..." Sweetie Belle said as she thought "Got it!" I correctly anticipated that she would have a weird solution. " I could get Rarity to make us some costumes to make us look like adults!" I was going to tell her the huge flaw in her plan, when a high pitched scream came from the area near twilight's library to remind her that either the prank on us was still being played or, that her sister was a zombie. "Oh. Oops never mind" she said, obviously feeling a bit embarrassed. "Um... then, I don't know." Then, Rainbow Dash appeared from behind a large cloud in the sky and flew toward the noise. "Hey, Rainbow!" Scootaloo yelled as loud as she could without sounding angry." Wait up!" Scootaloo ran after Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash turned around and slowly flew toward her biggest fan. "Whats up?" Rainbow asked "And what happened over there?" ,pointing to Twilight's house. "Come down, and us three can explain what we know." Scootaloo said. Once Rainbow reached the ground,I walked toward her with Sweetie Belle. Scootaloo said" Its probably just a big prank by Twilight and Rarity."before Sweetie Belle interrupted"Its not a prank on us! They would certainly be telling us by now." During the moment of silence, Scootaloo said"Well, maybe, its just a prank that they are planing to keep going a while." Sweetie shook her head"Rarity would never throw Spike across the room like that unless something really happened to her." Scootaloo was going to object, but, Rainbow said "I'm not here to listen to you argue about weather it's a prank or not. I just want to know what happened." Before the other two could, I spoke up "This is what I saw. So, we went to twilight's library on an invitation to prank spike instead of our usual dangerous stunts. When we got there, everything was going fine until Rarity started attacking them instead of just scaring spike thanks to Twilight, us three were teleported outside. Then, Spike and Twilight both turned into zombies and, us three ran.Oh, and, According to Sweetie Belle, Twilight wants us to warn Canterlot." Rainbow considered it for a bit, then made up her mind " I will think this is a prank until you get me more evidence." I thought that that was a fair way to decide. I heard the bouncing sound that only Pinkie Pie could make coming towards us. I turned around, and, sure enough, Pinkie was hopping towards us. Rainbow shook her head "Bye, guys! I'll be checking out what happened over there a bit ago." And, she flew away. Scootaloo watched her fly away until she went out of view. Once pinkie had reached us, she said "Hey, guys, wanna come to Sugar Cube Corner?" Scootaloo said "Well, I dont know. There is this big prank being pulled on us." Pinkie gasped "How did you know? Oh, well I'll find another pony to prank." And, she hopped off just as happily as she had came. "See? It was all a prank." Scootaloo said, but, I still wasn't sure. I said" I think shes talking about some other prank. After all, what did that other one have to do with Sugar Cube Corner?Tell ya what? Lets see if there's any other prank at Sugar Cube Corner." Scootaloo said "Deal!" As we walked over to Sugar Cube Corner, It was mostly silent, except for one scream, this time, further away from the library. "This is starting to get annoying" Scootaloo said. When we reached our destination, Sweetie Belle didn't notice the slippery puddle in front of the steps to the door. She slid across it, and a small figure came out of the shadows and scratched her side enough to make a tiny cut. While, normally, a cut like that would just heal soon, this one had her nearly instantly a zombie. I could soon see that the figure that had so easily turned Sweetie Belle into a zombie was spike. Instead of attacking like I expected, though, Sweetie Belle soon only looked like herself again, but, she was getting tired. She walked away about as fast as she could if she was pushing a heavy box. Then, she collapsed on the ground, and looked like a zombie again. She instantly had her strength back, and she charged at us. I ran away, but, Scootaloo just ran to the side and dodged. Sweetie Belle continued chasing me. In a matter of seconds, she had caught up to me, and was about to strike, when, once again, she looked like herself. I flowed her signal to continue running. After she appeared like a zombie again, she flowed Scootaloo. She found a foot hold on a house and used it to help her flutter her way on top. I continued running toward my sister's farm. It took all the rest of the day to reach the clubhouse, but, I made it. When I knocked on the door, I was surprised to see Scootaloo already inside. Only seconds after, I almost got a heart attack from seeing a dark purple flash lighting up the room. Me and Scootaloo had the same, probably best idea. We fled the club house and ran away. For the first few seconds, she started turning in another direction, but, she noticed that I wasn't following her, so, she started running in the same direction, towards the civilization. It didn't take us long to reach the town when we were running, so, once we reached it, we stopped to catch our breath. After a few seconds, she was able to talk again. "What was that?" I saw the answer across the distance we had run. The zombie Twilight Sparkle was standing in our clubhouse, looking at us for a few seconds, before vanishing in a puff of her darker purple magic. I said "I think Twilight's a zombie. Oh, and, is that enough evidence? She slowly said"Um, maybe." I decided to get a bit more advice "Let's see what my sis is up to." So, we walked toward the barn house looking around us in case Twilight appeared again or something like that. When we reached the barn, Applejack practically flew out of the higher window. I couldn't tell whether it was by choice or not, but, knowing her, she would definitely land on her hooves even if she was just flung into the air. As I expected, she landed on her hooves, and skidded for a bit before coming to a complete stop. She ran a lot faster than normal to the nearest apple tree and bucked it. A few apples fell, and she picked them up. She threw one at each window with precision to close each side, and another at each side to shut them more firmly. She looked a bit more relaxed, but, still busy when she noticed us. "Howdy! Wheres Sweetie Belle?" She asked. The topic nearly brought tears to my eyes, but it looked like Scootaloo still thought it was a prank. I replied "She's a zombie.", expecting her to laugh, but, she just gave me a sorry look "Whatcha doin', Applejack?" I asked. " So, y'all have had problems with 'em, too? I've got this here barn full of 'em. I think I'm gonna have ta' burn the whole place down." She replied with a hint of sadness in her voice. It was also a bit sad for me, too. The building had been standing there for ages, and would take a lot of money and time to rebuild. "No!" I exclaimed "There has to be a way to save them! They're trapped for now, at least." "Tell y'all what. Why don't you two go ta' Rarity's place, and fetch me something to seal this place up." Applejack said, obviously not knowing that Rarity was a zombie. "Y'all know ,Rarity's a zombie. Do ya think y'all can make something yourself?"I said. She said "I reckon, I can make a little something myself. Go get some string and glue, and stuff." So, Scootaloo and I started walking towards Rarity's boutique. While a few minutes after we started walking, we found Pinkie Pie. "Oh, hi, again!" she said in her a few seconds before her tail started twitching. In a dangerous time like this, something falling probably meant a zombie. Scootaloo had already started to run, when, as I expected, a zombie fell from the house Pinkie was next to. I didn't recognize the mare. The zombie mare turned to look at us, and then, turned to where Pinkie was. She charged at Pinkie, who, just flew into the air, by being Pinkie Pie, and came back down a few seconds later a few feet away from where she had been standing before. Any smart zombie would have approached with a smile, and pounced, but, I doubted that a zombie would have that intelligence. The zombie walked past Pinkie, and towards a another pony around a corner. "Hey!" a masculine voice said from around the corner. Next, there were two zombies hunting together. Luckily, they didn't turn to come back where we were. The rest of the walk was mostly uneventful. As I walked up to the door, it opened in the blink of an eye, Rarity was there with Sweetie Belle. They both jumped at us, but, Scootaloo and I just went under them, and into the building. Stlill having the adrenaline from the two sisters attacking us, I ran around the room as fast as I could, picking up fabric, and, at one point, some tape and scissors. Scootaloo found similar stuff, and also, some streamers pinkie must have put there for some reason. As we circled around, I found Sweetie Belle guarding the door, and Rarity close behind us. The only way to escape was trough the door, which was being blocked by Sweetie Belle. I turned around, only to find Spike attempt to sneak atack me. I screamed as loud as I could, and continued running around the room. About half way around, I saw Applejack running around outside, probably looking for a way to save us. As Rarity and Spike continued to chase me, and were getting closer, I noticed that Scootaloo wasn't at my side anymore. Then, there was a big thud as Rarity was knocked off her hooves, and took Spike with her. "QUICK! Run for the door!" Scootaloo yelled. Applejack was outside, and looked ready to save us, as we charged at the zombie Sweetie Belle. As we ran by, I closed my eyes, and expected to open them and see nothing, or a fantasy land with candy ponies, but, instead, I saw my old friend waving goodbye, then, being tackled to the ground by Rarity, Spike, and for a bit, Applejack, too. The whole thing felt almost like a dream. I didn't feel my hoofs hitting the ground like I normally do. It was almost all like running on an extra soft bed all the way. For the first time, I noticed a bit of sweat pouring from my four head.Still somehow had a lot more than enough energy left to run toward the sunset, and the barn, but, at the same time, I also felt like giving up and resting right there and then. //-------------------------------------------------------// Our Trip to Canterlot //-------------------------------------------------------// Our Trip to Canterlot Chapter 2: Our Trip to Canterlot Point of view: Scootaloo As we ran, I could see Apple bloom getting tired. It didn't take long to get to a good resting point. By then, it was getting to be night slowly. The ponies that were normally out at this time weren't there. Applebloom started slowing down faster than I expected, and I could tell that she needed the closest place to rest in pony ville. As we turned a corner, Applebloom finally gave up "Wait. Scootaloo. I need ta' rest", while stopping to sit down on her flank. I heard hoof steps coming from around the corner where we had just come. It would be no use trying to save Applebloom from the zombies. In an instant, I was about 15 yards away from her, when I heard Applejack coming around a corner. For a bit, I ran and boosted myself with my wings just as I'd taught myself one day in a rodeo contest with Applebloom, and even with that advantage, I lost. I'd never really expected to win it, though. "Wait! Scootaloo! I got rid of 'em. I'm still alive!"Applejack shouted louder than enough to let me hear. For a bit, I didn't trust her because we used the same trick in tag where you say your not "it" when you are and then tag them until we made a rule that you couldn't do that. But, when I saw her getting closer, I gave up, and looked back at Apple Jack coming towards me. When she reached me, she didn't attack. "Let's all see about go'in ta' Canterlot." She said, maybe to prove that she was on our side. I said "Okay" , and, so, Applejack went over to Applebloom, who was now lying down in the dirt road. "Come on, Applebloom, the train aint far from 'ere." Said Applejack, and, Applebloom got up as her sister had told her to, and started walking. In a matter of minutes, we reached the train station. When we got there, Applejack started talking with a pony inside a train. When she turned to face us, she said "Now, they believe us. Lets go." and, so, we climbed on, and found seats for the rest of the ride. Applejack looked at her sides and looked a bit sad to see that she didn't have saddle bags on. The rest of the car soon filled, and, one unicorn, who had another point of view on the opposite side of the car looked at a doorway, and, quickly made another appear there which I could guess was locked by the loud banging on it. I wished that I could see through the door, but, it was solid, and, I could imagine what was behind it. Probably a zombie banging mindlessly on the other side, wanting to come in and attack every pony inside. Then, I noticed that almost every pony there had saddle bags on, and no pony had pets. When we finally reached Canterlot, every pony in the car faced another problem, though. The main problem was not about the crazy pink mare bouncing into the car, though. The exits were all blocked up by magical doors. The two cars next to each other were the only places the ponies inside could move around in. A few physically stronger looking unicorns cast spells and walked through the walls of the train, and outside. As the crowd started to panic, a lavender colored pony, who for a second, I thought was Twilight until I noticed that it was a stallion stood on top of a chair, and in a fairly young sounding voice announced "STOP! If you can all listen to me, you can escape." when I looked around, I noticed that she was the only unicorn on that car. "Now, I'll open up a magical way outside if you can just calm down!" Then, I heard a noise coming from the head of a train of a pony jumping down, and, walking towards this car, probably to see what all the noise was about. By then, most of the noise had died down. Then, the sound of the pony outside falling to the ground with a thud. That one death probably was a big deal, considering how few zombies there were before that. The lavender pony, who I could now see had a cutie mark of a clay pot's horn glowed continuously, opening a magical way to walk out on the other side of the car. I got a bit annoyed, but, we still didn't have to wait long to exit the train. Each time a pony walked through the door, I could see him getting more and more tired. Just a few ponies who exited after us, the magical gate closed. It was about 7.5 ponies after us. I'd always wondered what would happen if a pony was in a magical doorway when it closed. The pony was basically chopped in half, but, luckily, the half that I could see fell under the pathway, down to the tracks below. The only details that I could catch in that short time that I saw her was that she was a dark orange colored Pegasus with a green and red mane. As I was staring at her, I noticed that Applebloom, and, Applejack were starting to gallop away. I quickly sprinted toward them to catch up, but, after just a few seconds, Applebloom started breathing heavily, and soon stopped. It was a bit of a disappointment seeing that Applebloom was tired even after the train ride over. At least, by then, we'd gotten out of the worst of it. But, it was still too crowded, and, the infection could spread fast among a such a dense crowd. By this point, I'd almost forgotten what I'd been saying about that it was all a prank. If it still was, it would probably be fun to play along with. I told Applebloom "Come on, can you go a little further? This big crowd might be dangerous" She agreed to move more, but, the crowd seemed to move with us. It became evident that it wouldn't help to move unless we were to go a lot faster than Applebloom could go right now. Applejack practically read my thoughts and said over the loud croud"It 'aint helpin' ta' move forward! We've gotta go back!" When we got to the back of the crowd, I saw a exhausted white colored earth pony with a cutie mark o fa magnifying glass trying to get to her hooves. Applejack started walking towards her to lend her a hoof, but, she shook her head, almost as if straining against some magical force. She looked almost like Sweetie Belle after levitating something into the air. The last time she tried, she'd been too tired to do anything for a few days, and, ever since then her horn remained on her head, like a useless party hat. Anyway, after about a minute of watching at the struggling pony, she stopped breathing. Applejack , saddened a bit but, not as much because she'd never known that pony, walked over to investigate the body, when, it turned into a zombie, and leaped at her. Applejack looked startled, and took a tiny hop backward, and the body sprang up to face her. A potion few red drops and some weird sharp object went sailing trough the air towards the zombie, and made hit the zombie in the forehead, spraying a bit of blood. Then, I realized something I hadn't noticed. Every time I'd seen a zombie, despite the big wounds they had, none were bleeding. The zombie dropped to the ground, like a stone. I whirled around to look in the direction of the train station to see who'd done that, or, tell me what had happened, but, all I saw was a dark purple flash, and then, the train with a few zombies near it. Then, Pinkie Pie popped out of the train, and started hopping in another direction Apparently, Applebloom had been looking there before I did, and, she said "Twilight saved ya', sis." Applejack was still looking at the body with her mouth agape. It was hard to tell weather the pony was dead, or, alive, so, Applejack did the nicer thing, and, started to drag the body towards a big plus sign in the sky. None of us said anything on the short walk over, and, pretty soon, we reached a hospital, and, Applejack dragged the body, who's cutie mark had somehow faded in the rest of the way, into the building. The unicorn pony behind the wooden desk looked at the pony, and frowned, seeing that there was no big injury. "Can y'all see if she's alive?" Applejack asked. The pony behind the counter's horn glowed, and, he teleported onto the side we were on. After a few seconds of some tests, the pony said "She is alive, but, will require a lot of magic to regain the energy to move at all. I'm not strong enough to do it without anything special. A couple of awkward seconds passed, and, then, Pinkie Pie stood up from behind the counter, and, climbed over "Hi, guys!" Pinkie greeted. I raised one of my fore hoofs up to my face, and shook my head. "I heard you needed a super big ton of magic to save that pony you've got there. I think I can help you with that." She said cheerfully. Then, she turned around, and lifted up a four hoof, and, when she turned back around, there was a sparkly box in her hoof. "Doctor, sniff the powder inside this! After that, you'll have enough magic to revive her!" Pinkie said, pointing at the barely moving body on the ground. The only unicorn in the room took a few sniffs of the white powder inside the box, and after frowning from the smell, lit his horn up, as he tried to pump all of his magic into the body. But, there wasn't much change. The breathing increased a bit, but, soon went back down to the minimum a pony could do, and live. "Oops, that was the wrong box." Pinkie said, taking the box back and sniffing it a few times before getting a more relaxed smile on her face. She turned around again, and pulled out another, more sparkly box with a few gems. She gave it to the doctor pony. "This is the one that will help." She said. The doctor opened the box, and, a bright light came out in the partially moon lit room, illuminating his face. He smiled, and, started a magical flow. The light slowly faded after a couple seconds, and, in the place of the body that was on the ground, there was a perfectly normal looking pony, standing there, blinking. She looked around from under a purple mane, and, screamed louder than any pony I'd ever heard scream before when she looked at her flank with no cutie mark. It didn't look right to see an adult pony with no cutie mark. I remembered a lesson from a few days ago. We'd been taught that a dead, or, nearly dead pony's cutie mark would fade, and, that sometimes they'd never be able to get another. I also had a thought that maybe, when we were too young too remember, something had happened, that denied me and my two best friends the ability to get a cutie mark. The pony, who'd just been revived said in a tone almost as soft as Flutter shy said "Um, hi. Does any of you know where we are?" Applejack greeted her "Aw, y'all don't remember? Were in a hospital. Y'all were almost dead, so, I took ya' here and got ya' all healed up, thanks to Pinkie here. Whats 'yer name, anyway?" That question was answered with a silence, where it seemed like Applejack noticed that the pony had forgotten everything. "Um, I don't know I hope that's alright. Would you mind telling me your names?" The recently revived pony said. We all said our names, first, Pinkie, then, Applejack, then, me, and, last, Applebloom. The doctor, who was apparently not very friendly appeared behind the counter and said " I think you haven't payed me yet." Applejack was about to speak up, when Pinkie brought out a generous stack of bits, and dumped them on the counter. I gasped to see that Pinkie Pie had just gotten a lot of money out of nowhere. Sure, she'd always seemed to get stuff out of nowhere, but, I'd never see her get money. After Applejack had explained the situation, and gave the nameless pony a few options "Y'all can come, help us, or, ya' can just stay 'ere." The nameless pony said in a more confident tone"I think I should help you, considering that you saved me." And, that's how we got a fourth pony to help us. We walked out the building, only for all of us except the nameless pony to step back inside when we saw a line of at least 10 zombies walking at the end of the street, just a few small houses down. To get her back inside, where it Applejack whispered sharply "Come inside! Before they see you" The pony didn't hesitate much to step back inside. It seemed the right time to find a name for the nameless pony. I said "I think you need a name.", pointing at the nameless pony. "But, until then, can we just call you Nameless?" It wasn't a very good name, but, at least it would be something. All of the others nodded in agreement. I heard a short shout, and looked out the window to see Rainbow Dash bucking a zombie trough a house window with her amazing strength. All of us gasped, except for Nameless, who saw it, but, maybe, didn't know that it wasn't the only way to get rid of a zombie. I had almost forgotten somehow, even though she was half of what I thought about at home. With the two strongest ponies that I knew, this whole thing might have be easy. Seeing my face in the window,or maybe one of the others Rainbow flew quickly over, to see why we were in there. She landed on the ground, and opened the door, and walked inside."HI, guys. whats up? Why are you in a hospital?" Rainbow asked. Applejack answered both questions pretty quickly, before Twilight appeared beside her. Applejack prepared to buck Twilight onto the other side of the desk to make her the doctor's problem, when Twilight spoke up. "Just one quick message.Don't let ANY flying creature become a zombie at all costs! We can't let cloudsdale become zombies!" Then, she vanished in a purple flash. Rainbow looked like she'd just been told that cloudsdale was about to explode in a few minutes if she didn't get there in time, and, after she explained, that was somewhat true."Oh, no! I let derpy get turned into a zombie! Cloudsdale is doomed. I'm doomed." One of the main ways that Rainbow made money was keeping a close eye on Derpy, and, now, I could only guess that Rainbow would kill Derpy with no other choice. In the blink of an eye, Rainbow Dash was outside, and soared away. After a few seconds, a beautiful rainbow spread across the sky. If there was any way that I could help her, I would've. The rainbow line slowly started to shrink away. I started to think about what we should do next, when there were more hoof steps than at the beginning of cider season, or any other crowd that I'd ever seen. Nameless, who had the best view, of the zombies said, now, with full confidence " Scootaloo! Run! It took me a second to remember that I was a Pegasus and that the zombies would stop at nothing to catch me. I ran for the stairs, and flutter-ran up them faster than ever, making every sharp turn perfectly. It didn't take long for me to reach the roof of the building. Even though it was a hospital, there wasn't a very tall fence to stop you from falling off. It would be pretty ironic if some pony fell of of the hospital. As I made a leap, boosted with my wings over the fence, I could tell that I couldn't make it to the next house. I stopped flapping my wings and fell down to the fence. It thankfully didn't have any spikes or anything like that, even though it still hurt. I got up, and wobbled around on the fence, trying to get into a good take-off position, like Rainbow Dash had taught me. I eventually jumped off, and flew trough the air, higher than I'd expected. It looked like I'd go further than the first house, but, I doubted my ability to fly over two pretty big houses. In a panic, I flapped my wings like a scared chicken, and fell to the ground. By the time I'd gotten back to reality, I heard more hoof steps coming towards me. I could almost hear Rainbow Dash in my mind, telling me what to do. I noticed some bricks jutting out of both of the house walls in the narrow space between them. Just as the zombies started to get closer, I flutter-jumped onto the bricks on one side, and jumped to the next about 6 times, before reaching the top of a house. Next, still in a hurry, I jumped to the house closer to the hospital, just in case my friends would be able to help me somehow. There were still zombies below, but, from a roof on a two floored house, they couldn't get to me. As I started to relax, the pain from the fall to the ground hit me like a train. My wings ached from the earlier flight, and, everything else hurt from the fall. It would be impossible to get anywhere like this. Then, I did what I thought would be possible. I fell asleep. Maybe, from pain, but, more likely from the exhaustion from what had happened that day. It was also my usual bedtime.
