You slowly awake, your eyes tired and heavy. Even though it pained you to do so, you dragged yourself from your bed, almost tripping over the various items scattered across your room's floor. You proceeded to change into your most casual clothes, as you had plans today. You've been in equestria for just about a year now, and you even scored yourself a home! Well, you consider a spare room in the boutique a home. The blue haired mare downstairs had offered you a home when you first arrived, dazed and confused. And your living arrangements also led to you meeting the prettiest girl you'd ever seen. Sweetie Belle. You had a not so subtle crush on her. And you hoped she felt the same for you, as it was hearts and hooves day. She was one of the first to accept you as a friend, not some alien. And you were gonna confess your feelings to her today. You quickly head downstairs, eager to get the day rolling. "Morning, darling", Rarity said titularly. "Hey, Rarity", you replied hastily, searching for Sweetie. Then from seemingly out of nowhere, you felt a pair of white arms wrap around your chest from behind, holding you close. 'Yup, thats' her', you thought to yourself as you turned and hugged back. "Mornin', Sweets", you say in a sultry voice. "Happy Hearts and Hooves Day!", she said excitedly. She proceeded to break the hug and sit next to you at the table. You felt her hand slowly wrap around yours, as you both looked up to meet eachother's gazes. You adopted a sheepish grin, trying your best not to look stupid. "Since its hearts and hooves day, were going out to eat today", Rarity said slyly. "Ready to go?", Sweetie asked, beaming. At that moment you knew that she was right for you.
