Stratusburg was nearly a ponydunk town as it got. If it weren’t notable for being one of the few ground-based towns in Equestria with a majority-pegasus population, virtually nobody would have known about the small community nestled away in the Smokey Mountains.

Sky copied her motion with his own sniff, and wrinkled his muzzle. “Yeah, you got that right.” Then he got a mischievous look in his eyes. “A shower? Together, perhaps?”
“Skyyyyy!”
“OK, foal steps, foal steps!”
Later on, as Sky Stinger got out of the shower at Vapor Trail’s parents’ place, he was ambushed by her.
“Sky, what do you think of your siblings?”
Sky Stinger scrunched his nose up at the question. “My sisters can be annoying from time to time, but I love them all the same.” It was his standard, diplomatic response every time someone asked about his family, noting his large number of sisters.
Vapor took a deep breath, and carried on, “Would you have preferred being an only foal?”
“Celestia no!” Sky exclaimed. “I’ve had my bad moments with my sisters, moments where I even thought I hated them, but we always made up. I can’t imagine a life without having them around.” He frowned, and said, “Why do you ask?”
Vapor bit her lip. “I was wondering. About us. No, not about us having a relationship, I regret nothing,” she said as she saw Sky wince. “I was just thinking...I didn’t really like being an only child.”
Vapor Trail paused. Her own coat color was a green so light in shade it was only a tint off from being a creamy, or even solid white colour. For Sky Stinger, with a darker blue-green coat, it was far more obvious when he was turning pale. “Y-you’re already thinking about foals?” He asked, shaking nervously.
She rolled her eyes. “Buck up, Sky, I’ll be the one carrying them for eleven months,” Vapor said, before softening her voice. “But yes, I was thinking. I didn’t like being an only child, so I was wondering about you, if you would be OK with that as well, if, when we get to that point.”
Sky raised his head, eyes closed, took a deep breath, then exhaled. “I’m not against the idea. I’m just remembering my parents, though. With five foals, they were often pressed for time to pay attention to each one of us. But, if you want more than one, two, three, even five like my parents, well…” Sky Stinger hugged Vapor Trail close to him, ignoring her meep of protest at his coat still being wet. Fondly, he stroked her abdomen with his hoof, right where her womb would be underneath. “As long as we can find the time to give them love and attention, I’ll be right by your side, Vapor.”
Their eyes met. The two ponies, mare and stallion, each went for the kiss again. Both felt secure in one another’s hooves.
Everything was going to be just fine.
Three weeks later, Sky Stinger and Vapor Trail reported back in for the next round of their reserves training at the Wonderbolt Academy.
“Are you alright, cadets?” Spitfire asked as she signed off on their slips, verifying they had returned back to base. “You look a little different than when you left.”
“Ah, um, yes? We went back home for our weeks off, away from Cloudsdale,” said Vapor. “We had a fairly good time back in Stratusburg.”
Spitfire narrowed her eyes at the remark, before comprehension dawned on her face. Then she smirked, and lowered her sunglasses back onto her muzzle. “I see. Well, just be sure not to let it interfere in your training. I don’t want to hear you’re exhausted from staying up too late each night, and, also…”
“Also?” Sky Stinger asked.
“Come in closer,” Spitfire beckoned him and Vapor towards her. Sky Stinger was suspicious, but he wasn’t going to disobey an order from a superior order, so he did as Spitfire commandered.
“DON’T BREAK CURFEW!” Spitfire yelled into both of their eyes, and the two lovebirds recoiled. “As long as you do that, keep it on the down low, don't let it interfere with your training, and don’t interrupt anypony else’s free time after-hours, we’ll be alright, mmkay?”
“Yes, ma’am!” Vapor Trail and Sky Stinger saluted her, before turning around to leave the room.
“What was that about?”
“Oh, hello Angel Wings,” Vapor greeted her friend as she turned around and saw the light pink pegasus mare she had become acquainted with during their first stint at the Academy. “Did you have a nice time off?”
“I did,” Angel Wings said. “I overheard Spitfire, though. What was she talking about?”
“Well…” Sky Stinger trailed off, and took a few seconds. He didn’t really want the other ponies to know him and Vapor Trail were now an item, but then he shrugged his worries aside. Of course, he wasn’t going to come out and directly say it, so he went for an euphemism instead. “Vapor Trail and me joined the Mile High Club on our days off.”
“Sky!” Vapor said in mock outrage, lighting tapping him with her hoof.
“The Mile High Club?” Angel Wings blinked. “You mean like, that private country club at the top of Cloudsdale that’s exactly one mile above ground, and has cloud-golf courses and a pool and a spa and a luxury restaurant and a hoofball arena? I thought that was supposed to be really expensive to join?”
Vapor Trail and Sky Stinger traded looks. Then they both burst out laughing.
“What’s so funny?” Angel Wings asked.
“Oh, Angel, never, *snerk* never change.” Vapor Trail was laughing so hard that she had to say it through tears.
“What? No, seriously, what’s the joke? Why won’t anyone tell me?!” Angel Wings whined as Vapor Trail and Sky Stinger exited the building.

This pairing is too cute not to write porn about them. But then on the other ~~hand~~ hoof, really people? A pairing as cute as this, and there's only two clopfics about them so far, with one of them being more a jokefic?
I realise a lot of people think they were screwing already, but my headcanon is that they both danced around it a lot, and just needed a little push to finally go for it 
. I think all of Sky's siblings were fillies, looking at their general appearance in the one flashback.
