Dreams and Nightmares

It came from a nightmare,
but it was in my dream.
The monster I saw with my eyes
tried to kill me.
They say it's not real, that it's a fake.
But it's a risk I'm not willing to take.
It was real for I couldn't awake
from a monster that wanted death as my faith.
I turned my head and then it appear.
Once I saw it, it wouldn't disappear.
It rose from the ground and form into my fear.
I was having a dream,
but it came from a nightmare.
