“MUAHAHAHA! Oh these foolish fools. My traitorous little grub and the princesses student.” Said the Towering bug queen, looking down upon the two newly captured prisoners.

Both of their hooves covered in green sticky muck and surrounded by thousands of changelings. Both equally fearing for their lives as they struggle for their freedom.

“Now that I have every possible pony in Equestria that could stand up to me, I will stand unopposed for my rule for EQUESTRIA! HAHAHA!” Laughed Queen Chrysalis as she hovered in the air with her army. Victory was at her grasp, no one to stop her triumph, she has been waiting for this for a very long time.

“Now i wouldn’t say ‘Unopposed’...” said a Mysterious voice, causing Chrysalis to snap her head to the throne room door and shouted. “Who dares defy me!?”

Just then, the door is seen turning a shade of orange, quickly turning to red before exploding into a million pieces. Some of the shrapnel flying into changelings and killing them in the process.

As the smoke clears, a black and blue, fast spinning tornado heads in first through the door before coming to a stop, sending the changelings it was carrying in several directions. The first figure was a bipedal dinosaur like figure with a tail and a helmet over it’s head. It’s colors of Blue, Black and White with it’s eyes a slight yellowish green color.

As the last of the smoke begins to settle, a glowing figure walked in. A ball of flame bouncing in his hand, his entire body is engulfed in flames with pieces of hot magma rocks forming his body with bright light of yellow magma in his inner parts of the body, with his face having a structured magma face, yet no noise but bright yellow magma eyes and face.

While both these characters were vastly different, they had one thing in common. And it was the crest on their chests. It showed a green glowing hourglass, which Starlight Glimmer and Thorax looked in awe, while Queen Chrysalis looked in confusion.

“Now then, you have two choices. Let our friends and loved ones go, and surrender peacefully…” said the Bipedal dinosaur creature.”

“...Or I will personally burn this entire hive into a damn microwave, your move, partner.” said the magma being, with a raspy southern accent.

With hate filling her eyes, she commanded her army to charge at the two.

“Tch, what a fool…” he soon started to create a large amount of fire into his hand then he blasted it at the army, sending a fire wave at them, burning some to a crisp.

“Thunder be careful! Our friends are in...oh what’s the use…” said the dinosaur creature in disbelief, his visor coming over his face and speeding off towards the enemy.

“Hey, why are we starting here?...” questioned a human looking creature, who was the size of teenager, with brownish blonde hair and some bits of Videligo white hair

“Why start with the boring things? Nothing really happened until that point…” said a skeleton figure, with a red vest and a cowboy overcoat, with blue jeans and black military shoes.

“Nothing happened...the time where you beat the shit out of the prissy pony in canterlot? Boring? Tirek was boring? Or that time..” he was soon cut off by the skeleton.

“...I meant when we first got here, you stupid kid.” facepalmed an annoyed skeleton.

“All good tales usually start with a slow beginning.” lectured the human with a wave of his finger.

“Ugh, fine, whatever..” said a now disinterested cowboy skeleton.

“you don’t help, and I tell Fluttershy…” smirked the human.

The skeleton paused for a moment. “I hate you…” hissed the skeleton.

“And that’s why you love me too…” said the human as he giggled to himself.

If the skeleton could barf, he definitely would.

“Now then it all started…”

In the warm air of a summer's night, a human teen walked down the street without a care in the world. Simply listening to his music from his phone.

“Those Dear Hearts and gentle people…” the young man sang quietly to himself, casually looking up to the night sky, looking at all the stars sparkling into the deep blue sky, with the moon, being the shiniest of them all.

The quiet street came with a whistling wind as he continued to look into the sky, soon a bright white line was moving quickly downwards in the sky, the human feeling lucky to come across one.

“A shooting star? Well shit, might as well make a wish.” he sat for a moment, thinking before he knew what he would wish for.

“I wish for a new life in a new place, and a friend to have fun with it with.” no sooner had he said that, the shooting star had changed direction and veered itself into the forest. Crashing into it.

“Woah!” the teen said, as he jumped from the shock wave that came after landing. “Well...might as well see if anyone got hurt and needs help.” the teen said as he darted off in the direction of the crash.

As the wind blew nicely at the dark skies of the world, a skeleton with a red vest, blue jeans, military boots, and an big brown overcoat, was walking towards a skeleton district that showed some bone-shaped buildings, with small square shaped windows.

He felt as if he could’ve done better for his family, but what do you expect from a world with narcissistic humans who can’t accept the undead as an equal race. As he was walking he see’s words imprinted on one of the boney walls that said “Hell’s creation” written in maroon paint, trying to indicate its point. He sighs to himself, do these humans know when to stop being a nuisance towards his own people?

Apparently not as he shook his head at the thought. “They will never change their ways of thinking if we live together on this god forsaken planet…” mumbled the skeleton. He continued to walk, nothing seems to have been bothering him all day, except for some humans throwing eggs, bricks, and rocks at him and calling him names.

He looked up into the sky to see a shooting star quickly going through the sky, though he isn’t one of those believers for that kind of thing, so he payed no heed of it. Suddenly, a loud BOOM was heard from the forest, could that have been the shooting star he was just looking at?

Whatever it is, it sure as hell isn’t safe, and it was relatively close to his town he was currently walking to. He quickly fast walked to the direction the explosion he thought has landed, soon disappearing into the forest.

In the middle of the local forest, laid a large metal ball, with glowing green images that looked like star charts. The area around it a mixture of crushed earth and mist coming from the object.

The first to arrive was a skeleton, when he first laid eyes on it only one thought entered his mind. “This is sure one hell of a shooting star.” He said to himself, almost wondering if he should come closer to the object. At first it was no, and he must get back to his family, but curiosity struck him even more, so he slid down the crater to where the object was.

Moments later, a rustling in the bushes revealed a human coming to view. As he came out, he tripped on an exposed branch and fell down the crash site area. Where he swiftly met the object face first.

“Ow…” He said as he slowly got up and rubbed his aching head.

“Hey kid, shouldn’t you be at home and asleep by now?” asked the skeleton nonchalantly. He was not expecting other visitors to this rock, too bad it's a human and not another skeleton, so that was a disappointment.

The human looked up in confusion towards the voice, noticing it was a skeleton, his eyes widened in excitement.

“Oh my god, an actual skeleton, i’ve always wanted to meet one of you!” the Human said with glee in his tone, causing the skeleton to look confused.

“...you don’t fear me? Not run for the hills?” deadpanned the skeleton as he looked at him confusingly.

“Hell no! Why would i? Skeletons are awesome.” the young human said, with an arm in the air to show his enthusiasm. He was told about these skeletons, but never understood why they were hated so much by society. “Anyways, should we see what this is about?” he asked the skeleton.

The skeleton just looked at him for a moment, but then shrugged and walked towards the object with the human. This was surprisingly new as he wasn’t scared of his appearance, especially his age, they either shout vulgar words at him or run away the moment they see him.

“The names Nick by the way.”

“...Thunderskull.” he answered back to Nick.

As they started to walk around the object, and feel around for a button or anything that would make it open. Suddenly, a hissing sound came from the top of the ball, and it started to open from the top of it, revealing two green glowing objects.

The skeleton and human both looked at each other, and with a shrug, began climbing the craft. Though a bit annoyed how slippery the damn thing is, they finally made it to the top, and it showed two techno-like watches on a podium.

Thunderskull thought to himself “all of this climbing for two

Watches…?” the skeletons curiosity slowly died down, as if these watches were like one of those cheap prizes from the vending machine. However, the kid was pretty excited to see, to be fair, unique looking watches.

“Oh my god, i know what these are!” shouted the human with excitement. “I recognize these from a TV show i watched as a kid…”

“...A TV show? I was expecting maybe a rumor, or at least an ancient prophecy…” said a disappointed skeleton.

“Hey, don’t judge man, and besides these things are the bomb.” he lectured to the skeleton, who only crossed his arms and shook his head. If the skeleton had eyeballs, he would definitely roll his eyes at this kid. They always act the same no matter who they are, just kids and always looked at the bright side of things.

Suddenly, Nick slowly tried to grab one of the watches as it was giving a very bright green glow as he got closer to it. Until suddenly, the watch started to become a liquid as it opened itself and attached itself to his left arm.

“Ah! Holy shit!” he screamed as he shook his left hand comically, trying to get the watch loose from his arm, yet it stuck to him like superglue. The skeleton quickly tried to take it off to help him, not only does he not have the muscle mass like most humans do nowadays, but it was really glued to his arm. He tugged on it harder, only for him to lose his balance and have his arm unintentionally reach for the other one, causing to that one to get attached to his right arm.

“Great, now we both have these damn things on…” groaned Thunder, as he looked at the watch. Nick was still trying to forcibly get the device off his hand, at the same time the world began to distort.

“Uh...Nick…” Said Thunderskull as he saw trees warping and splinters coming towards them, dirt rising into the air, and birds that were flying coming to a stop. Till in a blink, they were...somewhere else. Rocky islands floating midair, and extremely cloudy all around the islands. Light only coming from one direction, and winds that were endless cold.

“Grrr...come on you bastard...get off...wait where are we?” Nick asked as the skeleton was on top of him, kind of a bit dizzy.

“You know, I am literally made of bones, you can just move me…” said an Thunderskull.

“Not you, the watch. Now where are we?” Nick said as he looked around the new area they are both in.

As they got up and walked around, they both began to feel...unnerved. Like something was watching them from afar. After five minutes of walking and endless silence, they came across an Arch that literally formed in front of them. Before them appeared a figure, dressed in black trench coat, messy but still clean black hair, and starry black eyes.

“Greetings to the both of you.” the mysterious figure began, “What an interesting turn of events, you both found this crashed pod in the middle of nowhere, and now your fates are intertwined with one another's.” The skeleton looked at the figure in confusion and soon spoke.

“Alright buddy, what the hell is going on and who are you?” questioned Thunder as he was starting to get easily annoyed by the figure.

“I am the Outsider, and I see everything the past, present and future. And I can see the fate of everything and anything.”

“Okay pal, i’m with Thunderskull here, enough with the cryptic crap. Why are we here?” Nick asked.

“Very well.” the Outsider bowed his head before teleporting in a gust of black smoke to a sitting position on a plateau, just off to the right of the arch. “Nick O’banion, you made a wish upon a shooting star to make your life more interesting, and to share it with a friend.” He teleported to Thunderskull’s side as he said the last part.

“And you, Thunderskull, play into this wish.”

The skeleton looked at him for a moment then said. “So I am burdened to be with this kid no matter what?” Thunderskull asked.

“Ah, the pessimist and the optimist, oh how I love these two coming together.” grinned the Outsider as he teleported back to the arch, leaning against it. “Two vastly different personalities, but both will soon come to find out, your both are the same in a way.”

“I am lucky to not be preserved with headaches, but goddamn is your cryptics annoying as hell. Speak english for gods sake!” yelled Thunder, completely done with these riddles he was throwing at him.

“Sometimes knowing the answers you seek directly, isn’t the same as learning it for yourselves.”

“Wait...but how...I don’t…” Nick said trying to form words but was still in shock to form coherent sentences.

“Ok that’s it…” Thunder transitions in front of outsider and tries to punch him, but the outsider teleports behind him, with a smile on his face. Nick was stunned on how fast Thunder was, he disappeared for a brief second like it was nothing!

“Hot-headed, I see…” The Outsider said as he paced back and forth between the human and the skeleton.

Nick, coming out of the shock that an actual wish was being granted and he was in a strange void, began to slowly recognise the figure. “Wait a minute, I know you, you’re from a videogame...god what was it again.” Nick said as tried searching his memory to see where he recognised him from.

“Indeed I am, but i’m also very much real.” implied Outsider, as he stopped pacing around.

“Okay then, why are we here, i know i made a wish. But, why bring us here.” Nick asked, The Outsider gave a small smile before teleporting once more so he was in front of both of them. Slowly pacing back and forth.

“That my friend, is simple. You’ve both been given devices of incredible power, but are meaningless in a world that doesn't need beings with that power. But there are worlds that do.” explained the Outsider.

Realization slowly came upon Thunder, as he now knew what he was saying. “But what about my family, my grandparents are the only people I have left!” Shouted Thunderskull in a fury, he couldn’t believe what he was being told.

“You have no need for anger, although it is understandable why, I have already changed events of the world. Your grandparents now reside somewhere peacefully in the mountain of California. Where they live till the end of their days, living in comfort.” said the Outsider, trying to calm down the already enraged skeleton.

The skeleton still gave fury eyes to Outsider, but he was slowly calming down. Nick walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, wordlessly apologising for his hurting. The skeleton had a bit of fury for Nick as well, he sent him something he did not intend to do, he has family to protect from the ones that meant them harm, yet he felt his anger subside when he felt his hand touch his shoulder, giving him a sad look. He never knew there was a human who wasn’t an absolute prick to his race, and seeing that made him calm down immensely.

“Now that we have calmed down…” started the Outsider as he stopped pacing around the two. “You will be going to the land of Equestria, I could tell you what is in store, but it wouldn’t be much fun if I just told you right away.” They both look at him with confusion, Equestria?

It sounded like one of those medieval areas in an RPG video game Nick always seems to play. For Thunder, on the other hand, he can’t help but not take that name seriously once it was told. The hell is an Equestria?

“Any questions? No? In that case, let me describe why you are burdened with these watches…” explained the Outsider as he looked at both of them. “This watch has the ability to change into many different creatures, how you use them is entirely up to you.”

Nick was the first one to test that out, he looked around the watched until he pressed something on the side of the watch. The middle piece shot up and started to glow, revealing an image of a figure.

All of the images were black with a green background, but could easily make them out. One had a velociraptor physique that made it look quick, another was short and stout but could be defensive, a bipedal wolfish creature, a creature that looked like a moth, and finally a blocky one with spike on it’s shoulders.

Curiously, Thunder took a look at his watch, pressing the same area. One showed a tall figure with a flame looking head, he assumes it's an offensive user, It showed another large one, yet he was bulkier and had four arms, he likes this one. He then switches to yet another tall one that had very long arms, not very detailed, but continued anyways. It switches to a ghost looking creature that had sharp looking nails, and finally he found one that looked like a big deformed mutt, with teeth sticking out of the figures mouth area.

“You now know all that you need, but i’m curious as to how you both will fair.” The Outsider said with a straight face. “I guess only time will tell…” he said as his voice grew more and more distant, and the world began to distort and shift again.

And before they knew it, they were out cold.

Nick shot open his eyes as he laid on a grassy ground, touching his entire body with its cold feeling. He sat up slowly with an aching head, rubbing it as he got up to his feet. Suddenly he heard a shout from a few inches away.

“Hey you stupid mutt! Gimme back my leg!” shouted thunder as he was hopping at a stray hound, that was running towards Nick. “Owwieee….my head….don’t yell please-” he was soon interrupted by the hound jumping on him with the bone in its mouth, then soon Thunder jumped to grab the mutt, with Nick right in the middle of it.

“Ha! Got you!” said Thunderskull until the mutt started to drag him across the floor. “Hey a little help here!?” Thunder yelled at Nick.

“Just give me a sec and STOP YELLING ALREADY GODDAMMIT!” Nick shouted as he got up. After a few short seconds, he then ran in front of the mutt and grabbed him easily. He grabbed the leg bone and tugged it from the dog’s mouth with ease. When all was said and done he gently tossed the mut aside. When the dog wouldn’t go away.

“WRAAAAAAAAHHHH!” the dog quickly ran away and whimpered like a little bitch while doing so.

Thunderskull put his leg back in place and looked at Nick. “Thanks…”

After a few deep breaths, “...No problem…” they both took a moment to take a look at their surroundings. Which was, as cliche as it might sound, in the middle of a forest. “The one place he picks...and it's a damn forest, what? Couldn’t be nice enough to drop us off at a town?” hissed Thunderskull as he looked around annoyed.

“Well if you think about it…” Nick started, “How would the locals react if we just teleported in town square or in somebody’s home?” he asked the skeleton.

“Honestly, they would only be scared of me, I am gonna assume this is an alternate part of history in our timeline.” retorted Thunderskull. Nick only stared at him for few moments, “Fair point…”

Nick began to look at his surroundings, and wondered how he and Thunderskull were going to get anywhere if they didn’t know where they were. That’s when an idea popped in his head.

“Hey so that...wierd entity guy said these devices turn us into different creatures, right?” He asked Thunderskull, he only gave a shrug as he was still sitting from the mutt incident.

Thunderskull is switching around the watch until he found the Mutt looking creature. “What if I…?” as soon as he pressed it, skin started to form around the skeletons body, veins started popping out of the newly developed skin, then he grew fully orange pupils. Right after, orange fur started to form around the skin, which then covered his eyes, and he soon became a rather beast like mutt.

Thunderskull looked at his new formed body, and looked around, everything was black, but he still knew where Nick was and moved his head sideways to Nick, which he was able see him once he sniffed in the air.

“Holy...shit dude! That was awesome.” Nick yelled in excitement, he then realized he has the same abilities and quickly looked at the creatures again from his watch. Thunderskull did an extremely eruptable roar, causing Nick to get stunned from it. Nick sees Thunderskull freaking out a bit from his new form, running around in a circle, and looking at his arms.

“Woah woah! Easy there bud...oh my god I can’t believe I just said that to a person.” Nick said the last part quietly to himself, “Okay you have no eyes...try using your ears, or try to smell stuff, shit i don’t know.”

As Thunderskull calmed down a bit from his bit freak out fest, he started sniffing around, then suddenly started running in a direction. Nick was confused but then he realized he was gonna be left here. “Hey! Wait up dude!” called out Nick as he started to run to where Thunderskull was running. After awhile of running, Thunderskull stops. Nick is behind him, panting like crazy.

“Next time....wait before you...take off like that...asshole.” He said in between pants. Thunderskull only gave a light roar with something that only very mildly looks like a grin. With an irritated look, Nick lifted his device up to a operable level, activating and turning the dial till he found a decent one to turn into. “This one looks good…”

He slammed his hand down on the button, the same effect started happened like it did to Thunderskull, but instead, his feet started turning into Raptor feet, with small ball like wheels and with dinosaur claws, his eyes started to take color of light green with a blue dino face, then a visor quickly covered it, while growing his tail out. Nick looked at his newly formed body.

“Woah!” he said, taking a look over his body. He noticed he had a tail and his legs were bent backwards sort of. He moved forward slightly and it was like he as light as a feather as he started gliding across the ground with his ball feet. Nick looked at himself Inquisitively, “Hmm…”

He got himself in a running position, just as he began to run a visor came down his face, he took off with a trail of black and blue. Being unprepared for such speed, he immediately lost balance and collided with a tree. “Ouch” he muffled to himself as he got up, only to turn to hear snorted snickering from Thunderskull in his beast form.

“Oh shut up!” He yelled loudly, his voice altered slightly with a more higher pitch but scratchy tone. Rubbing his head with his clawed hand as he got up., “This is going to take some getting used too.” Nick said, Thunderskull only nodding in response.

“Well I guess i could make a campsite for us while you hunt for food in your current form…” Nick inquired, tapping on his chin, as of in thought. “Though honestly, i’ve never made a campfire.” he admitted to the orange beast as he was sniffing around. Thunderskull then started walking into the forest, starting to get out of sight from Nick. “Or just ignore me, thats cool too.” and began to follow Thunderskull.

[[[10 minutes later]]]

“You’ve seriously not found anything yet...at all?” Nick asked impatiently. Thunderskull growled in response, not wanting to hear it. “Well excuuuuuse me, princess, but we won’t be getting shit started until we-” suddenly, he was interrupted by an extremely high pitched scream. Thunderskull purked up from sound. Not liking it one bit.

They both looked at each other for a moment, and Nick voiced what they both thought at that moment.

“Food can wait.”
