Author's Note

This story is heavily based on a satirical story I wrote for my literature course, but was unfortunately rejected by my professor for mocking an ideology she believes in.

I decided to make a pony-version of the story and use it as the next in my series.

Crimes and Mines

The Mane 6 stand around the entrance of Celestia's castle. Twilight walks in circles worried while the rest of the Mane 6 relax. "I hope everything's okay."

Rainbow rolls her eyes "Come on, if she summoned us here there's obviously something wrong."

Rarity inspects the door "What do you think Celestia called us for?"

Fluttershy approaches "I hope it's to take care of her pet Philomena"

Pinkie jumps up "PARTY!?"

Applejack shakes her head "If it's all six of us, it outta be pretty important, like..."

Rainbow interrupts "FIGHT EVIL?!?!" She bumps her fists together, but a glow from her cutie-mark catches her eye "NOT NOW!"

A royal guard carries a stack of letters in a basket into Celestia's throne room. Twilight peaks in and watches Celestia look concerned at one of the letters, then beckons Twilight to enter. Her friends follow her in with their cutie-marks glowing.

"I have called you all here in regards to a re-occurring threat in Baltimare." Celestia hands Twilight a letter. "Mayor Fluffin Muffs has reported criminals are rampant in the streets, and are oppressing the innocent." Everypony watches worried except for Rainbow Dash who is drooling "While most criminals have been brought to justice, she fears a major criminal organization is planning on overthrowing her, then freeing all criminals from their underground prison. With over a hundred dangerous ponies held in captivity who knows what destruction they could cause to all of Equestria. I ask of you to withstand this rebellion."

Everypony looks at each other worried, except Rainbow Dash. "AWWWESOME!" They look at her annoyed, including Celestia "What?"

On the train, Pinkie twists a balloon into various shapes. "Maybe if we throw them a party they'll discover there are better things to do than crime."

Applejack declines her "No Pinkie, unless it's Trouble Shoes we're dealin' with, partying ain't doing nothin'."

The train stops at Ponyville, to which someponys board. Spike jumps onto Twilight's lap "Spike! I told you to watch the castle!"

"Don't worry, Starlight's got it all taken care of. I kinda had to tell you guys the cutie-map summoned all six of you."

"ALL OF US?!? WHERE?!"

He opens a map "Uh... Baltimare."

"Well... that's convenient. Celestia already sent us there to repel a criminal organization." Spike backs away "You don't have to come."

The train doors shut, to which Spike turns back to them "Urgh, there isn't anything better to do in Ponyville anyways."

Applejack raises her hoof "What do you mean? I'm sure Big Mac wouldn't mind some company after his apple selling trip."

"He hasn't returned."

"Huh, he's usually desperate to come home." She scratches her chin.

"I'm sure he's just running late" Twilight takes out a book "We need to focus on the issues regarding Baltimare." She shows a image in the book of large mining plant.

Rainbow rolls her eyes "Yeah, it's simple! We go in and fight!"

Pinkie looks at the image of the mining plant excited "This looks like the perfect place for Pie Sister's Surprise Swap Day! Maud would love all the rocks! And I can say hello to everypony there!"

Rarity calms Pinkie "I hate to inform you Pinkie but that mining plant holds all of Baltimare's most dangerous criminals, I don't think we or Maud should be heading down there anytime soon."

Twilight nods "They mine rocks to repay the damage they've done to society."

The train stops and Twilight gets up before any pony leaves "I have an announcement everypony, a lot of crime has been reported in Baltimare. If you see anything suspicious do let us know!"

Various ponies become uncertain of getting off the train, Pinkie pesters a grey stallion reading a newspaper "Hi! What's your name?" he gets off the train nervous then runs away as Pinkie follows.

Brazier and his friends approach Twilight "Don't worry about it, we got this under control. Why don't you guys take a break from saving Equestria and watch The Silly Filly Sidesteppers at the Manehattan Theatre?" He hands six tickets to Rainbow Dash who looks uninterested.

"Nah, we'll pass. Can we really trust them?"

The stallions make weird faces, making the Mane 6 uncertain. Rarity explains "They are firefighters and saved quite a few ponies. Could we give them a chance?"

Fluttershy looks at one of the tickets "I would! I mean where there aren't any... mean ponies hurting anypony..."

Twilight hands the tickets back to Brazier "I'm afraid not, we've been ordered by Princess Celestia to do so. You guys should enjoy your time off."

Streamer drags the other stallions away from the Mane 6 "Ordered by Celestia... looks like paying them off won't work." They leave the train, as Applejack watches suspicious. She finds they dropped a note with a symbol of an Hammer and Pickaxe crossed, inside a cage.

"Everypony look at this."

"What do you think it is?"

"It looks like a mark for some kinda organization. Could it be the major crime gang Celestia was talking about?"

Rarity sniffs the note "I wouldn't believe they'd do such a thing. They are quite reputable in their job, do you think they'd give all that up for a crime?"

Rainbow smirks "You never know with ponies..."

They meet the mayor in the station "You're finally here Princess Twilight! I was getting worried, but at last you've come to save us!" She looks worried at the passengers leaving "Any moment now they could strike."

"Don't worry Fluffin Muffs, we just ask. What do you know about this criminal organization?"

Fluffin explains "The Stallion Battalion, several ponies have attempted to kidnap me and admitted being associated after interrogation. They identify each other with a mark."

Applejack holds up the note "You mean this one."

"Yes! That one! The mark of the Stallion Battalion."

Rainbow stomps her hoof "I knew we shouldn't have trusted those guys!"

Twilight becomes worried "Several stallions offered us tickets to a play, then dropped that mark. I think they were trying to make us leave."

The mayor chuckles "It was a nice attempt, but you guys are too cool to fool! What did they look like? My security guards will track them down."

She hands Rarity a paper and she starts to draw on it. Applejack randomly asks "Anypony seen Pinkie Pie?"

Pinkie keeps following the stallion with the newspaper into a dark room "Come on! Don't be shy!" He sits down in front of a projector with several unknown ponies, along with Brazier, Streamer, Raindrops, and Sturdy. "Oh hey guys! Were you having a surprise party?"

Streamer approaches "Not a party, did you guys change your mind about the tickets?"

Raindrops adds "Yeah, we offered your friends some tickets to a musical. We thought they'd interfere with our... game..."

"A GAME!?"

Brazier nods "Grand Theft Trotto. Every week we've been getting more and more participants." He waves at everypony sitting around the projector.

"Wow... a game with lots and lots of ponies playing? CAN I PLAY?!"

Brazier scratches his head "Hmmmm I don't know, it's a top secret game. Can we trust Pinkie?"

Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!"

The stallions look at each other uncertain "Will she call us out?"

Sturdy adds "Come on! This is the pony the dated Streamer, of course can trust her." Streamer nods.

Brazier explains "Alright, here we give out top secret missions. We call ourselves agents of the Stallion Battallion."

Streamer adds "That's our team name! We made a logo for it too." He points to the projector with the mark of the Stallion Battalion.

"Oooooh that's cool!"

The screen changes to a map of Baltimare with various cutie-marks spread across. "We're the leaders, this map shows our agents operations."

"Kind of like the cutie-map! But what do you guys need me to do?"

The stallions whisper to each other, then Streamer asks "You can play ten instruments right?"

"Yup!"

"Go play jazz music with Crate Stacker in the Town Square" He points to the newspaper stallion Pinkie followed off the train.

"Sorry for ignoring you."

"No problem! Let's make some music!" Pinkie follows Crate out of the dark room. Sturdy puts a check mark on the map.

The Mane 6 (excluding Pinkie) follow Fluffin to the mining plant. "Guards! Look out for ponies with these cutie-marks!" She hands an officer prints of cutie-marks of Brazier, Raindrops, Sturdy, and Streamer.

Rarity looks around at the criminals being restrained "I believe we can interrogate some of them." Fluttershy nods frantically.

"Umm... okay! I'll just stay over here."

Fluttershy leaves the mining plant and the Mane 6 approach an stallion in chains, being dragged into a mine shaft. "RELEASE ME THIS INSTANT!"

The guard yells "Silence! We have multiple witnesses of you oppressing a filly!"

He waves his hoof through the chains "Are you guys serious!?"

The Mane 6 look at each other confused "Yeah... that's not excusable." Applejack looks down the mineshaft.

The guard starts putting a pulley system upwards "This is where we send criminals down into the mine. Lotta mean ponies down there."

As the pulley lifts a platform to their level, the guards try to pull the chained pony onto the platform. He resists and yells "The Stallion Battalion won't stand for this!"

"Oh really?"

A random guard kicks both guards away, then quickly unlocks the chained pony who makes a run for it. The Mane 6 immediately pile dive the fake guard. "It's all over for you! Traitor!"

An officer inspects the fake officer uniform "Another mark of the Stallion Battalion. Hard to imagine from a Private."

Applejack explains to Rarity "See? Ponies would give up their reputation for crime."

Twilight sighs "Well it is organized crime..."

Rainbow trots on the spot excitedly "Organized or not, that was awesome! When can we beat down criminals again?"

Pinkie equips ten instruments "Hmph, here it goes!" She starts to play jazz music in the center of town, to which Crate dances to in a gentlecolt suit. "Hey! More ponies are coming!" Several ponies give Crate an disappointed look.

She returns to the dark room with Brazier "Ummm what was that about? And where's Crate?"

Raindrop aims a stick at the Baltimare map "If all goes to plan, Crate will be okay." He turns to a mare "Did you get the key mold Agent Trottie?"

"Yes sir." Trottie hands Raindrops a key made of solidified mud "Thanks for distracting them Pinkie!"

Pinkie looks uncertain "Hmph, I don't know many of these ponies. Can I return to my friends?"

The stallions look at each other worried, then prompt Streamer to talk to her.

"Before you go, I want to give you something for your efforts."

"You do?"

He hands her a rock pouch with double stitching, a red drawstring, and ochre-flecked velvet lining with reinforced triple-crosshatched seams. Pinkie gasps "I know nothing makes you more happy than to see other ponies happy, I so I'm giving you a gift to gift your sister!" She tears up and hugs him.

"You... really do understand me..." She hugs him tighter, then releases "Did you sacrifice your party cannon for it?"

"Nah, actually it was on sale for 50% off." He hands Pinkie a flyer.

"Ooooooh." As she flips through the flyer, then puts it down quickly "Wait a minute... HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT PSSSD?"

A slow voice speaks "I've finished." Pinkie looks up and finds Maud handing Raindrops a carved rock key. He compares it to the mud mold.

"This will do."

Pinkie points at Maud worried "Was... she here the whole time?"

The four stallions nod "Yup!" Streamer laughs and pats Maud on the back "You'd be surprised by the ponies who joined us..."

Applejack calls out in the streets "PIIIIIIINKIE!"

The Mane 6 continue walking, Rarity looks around at stores frantically behind the rest of the Mane 6. She stops and the rest turn to her, Spike asks "is something wrong?"

She scratches her head "Oh it's nothing, I just thought it was a tad strange there are four boutiques next to each other."

Everypony looks at the four boutiques they just past, then a excited passing mare in a dress says "This is the clothing marketplace silly! They have clothing for ponies of all tastes!"

Applejack shrugs "That explains it" Everypony keeps walking, to which Spike falls behind. He asks a random pony in front of a boutique "Any place here got gentlecolt suits for stallions?"

"Why would anypony sell those."

Spike looks at the pony confused, then catches up to the Mane 6 look shocked at a restaurant window then rush in. He reads the sign "Subhay, what kind of restaurant is this?"

Applejack snatches Applebloom from the other CMCs who are standing around a display of various vegetables with Snowy Trail flying above pointing to them "What on earth are ya'll doin' here? Baltimare's be full in vermin at this time!"

Rarity approaches Sweetie Belle "How did you all get here?"

Scootaloo rubs her head "It's a long story. Cirrus said she had work here and took Snowy, but we got bored and asked to come to."

Fluttershy shakes her head "She shouldn't leave you here alone, there are nasty ponies around here. I'll watch over you okay?"

Snowy hands several bits to the employee and takes the completed sub sandwich. "I'm fine, I just need to take Cirrus's lunch to her, she's finishing some security system for the mayor."

Sweetie Belle nods "Yeah, then she's taking us window shopping."

Rainbow scratches her chin "That's nice of y... WAIT A MINUTE! Don't you have flying lessons with my Dad right now?"

Snowy hesitates "Um... I couldn't find him."

Twilight turns to everypony "If Cirrus is working to protect the mayor, I'm sure she knows what's going on with the Stallion Battallion. Where is she Snowy?"

Snowy Trail leads them all to a large building "Here it is! City Hall!"

A random officer approaches "A pony reported a tunnel leading under the prison is being dug by two mares. We requ..." Rainbow Dash flies off in a instant.

Scootaloo cheers "Go get 'em!"

The officer keeps explaining while the rest of the Mane 6 sit and listen. Rainbow watches over the city from above then dives into a large hole surrounded by several officers. At the end of the tunnel she finds Limestone Pie and Marble Pie mining through. Unable to recognize them she knocks them both out with a single punch then pats her hooves together. "Just like Daring Do does it."

She drags Limestone and Marble Pie out and hands them to the officers who arrest them both. "Well done, we'll take care of these two."

Rainbow flies off while Limestone watches and stomps angrily in chains "I knew he shouldn't have left the farm!"

Marble nods "Mmmm hmmm."

"That was quick" the officer looks up as Rainbow Dash lands next to her friends.

Applejack rolls her eyes "As always."

Twilight asks Rainbow calmly "Did any of the digging ponies seem familiar?"

"Nope!"

"Did you try asking them why they're doing what they're doing?"

"Nope!"

Rarity explains "You should try to, every wrong doer has a reason."

Scootaloo exclaims "But that's boring!" Rainbow nods.

The Mane 6 walk into a large fancy building and find various guards speaking with Cirrus. She seems very tired and uninterested in the conversation.

"Yup. All 56 entrances are secured." She points to a lever currently in the up position "While pulled down, an alarm will sound if anypony enters Townhall." Cirrus pulls the lever then sticks her hoof through a window which starts loud ringing. She raises the lever to stop the ringing then points to an electronic panel next to it. "This grid will show where the alarm was set off." She pulls the lever back on then puts a lock on it. "Why take a rest in the break room, then when the alarm sounds, follow the grid to the intruder."

The Mane 6 look at Cirrus suspicious as the guards enter a lunchroom, then Snowy approaches Cirrus with a bagged sandwich "I got you lunch!"

"Thanks! I'm been stuck here for weeks!" She sits at a table and eats the Subhay sandwich, while the Mane 6 gather around her. "Oh, hey guys!"

Applejack puts her hoof down on the table "Why did you bring our sisters?"

"They were bored."

"Do you have any idea how dangerous it is around here?"

Cirrus rolls her eyes "Yup. Big crime problem. If it's such a big concern send them back to Ponyville."

Spike exclaims "On it! Come on guys!" He leads the CMCs who all groan.

"AWWWWW COME ON!"

Snowy Trail begs Cirrus "But I can stay right?"

Cirrus hugs Snowy "Of course you can!" She hands Snowy a transmitter "If you're in trouble you can call the Wonderbolts Academy with this."

The CMCs turn away from the exit "Why can't we just stick with her?"

Rarity and Applejack look at each other "Alright, stick with Cirrus and stay out of trouble. We have some bad guys to catch."

"ALL RIGHT!" Every filly runs for the exit, which Cirrus gets up and tries to stop them.

"WAIT!"

As Appleblooms steps out of the entrance, Cirrus's security alarm goes off. Guards barge out and try to pile dive the CMCs, but Applejack lassos them away, the guards look confused then return to break. Cirrus unlocks the lever and disables the alarm "The alarm goes off when leaving the building too! Step out so I can secure the place."

All the fillies step out, then Cirrus pulls the lever back up and locks it. She hands Twilight a key "If you're going to guard this place, you may need this."

Twilight asks "What do you know about the Stallion Battallion?"

Cirrus rolls her eyes "Some totally dangerous crime gang. Now if you mind I need a serious chillaxing."

She flies up a set of stairs as Rainbow waves "Thanks cous! Isn't she the best?"

Fluttershy looks a metal device strapped next to the entrance "Oh she's great! I feel so much safer now."

Rarity inspects the device as well "Not the best design. It's too bad it won't stop them in their tracks." Fluttershy becomes scared again.

Twilight looks confused "When me and Rainbow infiltrated her ice fortress under Canterlot, she had all sorts of traps set up." She looks out a window and sees Cirrus flying away "I still don't get why she didn't do the same here."

Spike explains "Safety hazard? We have four fillies walking around here."

The other ponies nod, except Twilight who is still looking out the window confused "There is something I just don't get... Cirrus left the building."

Rainbow asks "What about it?"

"If Cirrus's security system also detects ponies leaving the building..." Twilight holds up the key to the alarm "HOW DID SHE LEAVE!?"

Everypony becomes confused, Spike exclaims "Maybe there's a entrance she hasn't secured, did anypony see where she left?"

"No..."

"Well we gotta find it!" The mane 6 run around the building continuously setting off alarms in various entrances, to which the guards keep leaving and entering the break room. Fluttershy instead barricades all the entrances and Twilight reads a blueprint of the building.

Back at the Stallion Battallion hideout Sturdy stomps angrily on a table "Our tunnelers are taken. I can't take this any longer!"

Raindrops talks through a radio transmitter "You got it?" He turns away from the radio "I think we can take out Mayor Fluffin now, we'll free the prison after."

Pinkie looks worried "Um... is that part of the game?"

Brazier tilts his head "Yeah... but don't worry, you don't have to participate if you don't want to."

She backs up "Well that's good because" Pinkie jumps out the window screaming "HEYYYY! WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?!"

Sturdy looks out the window worried "She's going to report us all isn't she?"

Raindrops still holding the radio puts a mark on a grid, similar to the one on Cirrus's security mark "Let's get this over with before she does."

The Mane 6 and Spike lay next to the main entrance Rarity faints "I think we checked all of them. I... need a nap."

Rainbow nods "Yeah... the alarm will call us." She collapses then Fluttershy steps on her "HEY! Are you done blocking all the exits?"

Fluttershy shakes her head then runs upstairs. The rest of the Mane 6 fall asleep on a couch near the main entrance. Some banging is heard from the main entrance door which Fluttershy barricaded, but they don't wake up.

"I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE! IT'S ME! PINKIE!"

Brazier and Sturdy climb onto a balcony of town hall using a fire ladder. "Cirrus agreed she'd leave a detector easily removable." Raindrops walks up to several screw heads coming out of the outer wall. "Here it is." He unscrews them with a screwdriver, which causes a metal device on the other side of the wall to come off. The Stallions enter without setting off the alarm.

Fluttershy enters the Mayor's office "Please... I'm really scared those bad ponies might get me. Can I hide?"

"If your friends can handle it on their own, sure! I have a safe space for you to use." She points to a large safe next to the wall, to which Fluttershy immediately enters and slams shut. She takes out a book and tries to calm herself, but then a loud smashing sound is heard from outside, alongside some screams.

Brazier, Sturdy, and Raindrops smash down the mayor's door to her office "This is the last straw. Remove..."

Fluffin shouts "HELP! I'M BEING OPPRESSED!"

The stallions laugh "Oh yeah! Sure! Wanna see what it's really like to be oppressed?"

"WHY ISN'T THE ALARM SOUNDING?"

Raindrops puts his elbow on Fluffin's desk "Don't ask me, ask the pony who installed it. Now if you would excuse us, we have a system to overthrow."

Brazier approaches Fluffin with chains. She immediately opens the "safe space" and hides with Fluttershy who's chattering her teeth rapidly. Fluffin yells "PLEASE! FIGHT THEM OFF WILL YA!"

Fluttershy becomes completely paralyzed in a state of shock. Sturdy opens the safe then drags Mayor Fluffins out by the tail. They ignore Fluttershy with the exception of Rain Drops who pity's her horrified state.

Pinkie breaks through the wall, waking all of the Mane 6 and Spike. "GUYS IM BACK!"

Rarity gets up "Oh there you are Pinkie! Where have you been?"

"Uhhhh..."

Streamer leads Brazier and Sturdy who are carrying Fluffins wrapped in chains. Rain Drops enters the safe and sits next to Fluttershy who is still frozen in shock "You must be pretty scared huh? I know you're not the aggressive type, but sometimes when somepony is ignorant to reason, you have no choice." She snaps out of her frozen state.

The Mane 6 run up the stairs "Really? Maud joined?"

Pinkie responds sadly "I don't know why... I just did because it was fun."

Applejack exclaims "Well it's nice that you came to your senses! Let's stop this kidnapping!" They turn a corner and find Brazier and Sturdy carrying Fluffin. "DROP HER! NOW!"

They slowly drop Fluffin. Sturdy asks "Do we have to fight them."

Brazier shakes his head "No." He looks at the Mane 6 "Look. We can explain."

"EXPLAIN?! THERE'S NO GOOD REASON TO KIDNAP THE MAYOR!" Applejack yells, she hits one of Fluttershy's barricades with the lasso, opening a window and setting off the alarm.

Sturdy asks again "Please?"

The Mane 6 attack them with lassos, magical blasts, punches, and party cannons, to which the stallions retaliate with sports equipment. They seem evenly matched until guards start pile diving the stallions.

Rarity removes the chains from Fluffin as the guards tie up Streamer, Sturdy, and Brazier. They drag them away as the Mane 6 follows. Twilight asks "Why are you doing this?"

Streamer says "I want to see my brother again."

Brazier adds "That stupid Mayor made a law ab..."

Applejack interrupts "WHERE'S THE FOURTH ONE?"

"Rain Drops? He took Fluttershy to New Leaf, a tea shop in Baltimare. Don't ask why."

Applejack rolls her eyes "Yeah... sounds about right." She turns to Twilight "I don't really trust them with anything."

They all watch the guards take the three stallions into the mining plant to be imprisoned. Pinkie leads them all into the dark room which has become empty, they all look around except for Rarity who puts her hoof over her face.

"I feel just awful! Brazier has done many great deeds in Manehattan, and to treat my own cousin as a criminal."

Pinkie nods sadly and holds up the rock pouch "Me too, Streamer gave me this rock pouch to give to Maud."

Rarity inspects it and gasps "This is just like the one Maud returned."

Twilight looks at it too "So many ponies in the Stallion Battalion seem like perfectly friendly ponies. We must be missing something."

Rainbow stops searching "Looks like they moved places, there's nothing here."

Spike enters the dark room "Guys! I found Fluttershy!"

The Mane 6 enter a tea shop, to which Applejack stops at a sign outside "So he wasn't lying about Rain Drops and Fluttershy?"

They all approach Rain Drops and Fluttershy sipping tea together while ponies give them dirty looks. "Oh you're back! Rain Drops was telling me a story of when he rescued animals from a pet store that was on fire." Rain Drops smiles and nods, but Rainbow Dash growls at him.

Rain Drops shrugs "I didn't try to kidnap Fluffins, my friends did."

Twilight pulls Rainbow away "Well he does have a point... he wasn't in the fight. If you can answer some questions we won't tell anypony. Deal?""

He nods "Ask away!"

"How did you get into Town Hall without setting off the alarm?"

"A pony named Cirrus Storm was hired to install a security system for Mayor Fluffins, but we convinced her to make one of the detectors easily removable so we could break in and out."

The Mane 6 gasp "Cirrus?!

Twilight looks at him concerned "How did you convince her?"

Suddenly officers grab him and pull him away "HEY! What did I do?"

The officers point to Fluttershy "Oppressing this mare."

Rain Drops tries to resist arrest "Really!? There's a reason my friends did what they did!"

Fluttershy thinks to herself "Did he?"

As the officers pull him out of the restaurant, one of them exclaims "Find Cirrus Storm!"

The Mane 6 look at each other worried, Rainbow shrugs "What? She's an evil genius! Of course she'd wanna join a criminal organization! Let's fight her and see what crazy contraptions she'll throw at us this time!"

Twilight stops Rainbow from rushing towards the mining plant "No. We have to get her to talk, there's no way so many of our friends would suddenly join a criminal organization without a good reason."

"Alright. That fight at the fortress was totally awesome though."

They all arrive at the mining plant and spot Cirrus talking to Maud. "The revolution has failed. I'm going to set them free then get out of this screwed city."

Maud looks at her emotionless "Great." Cirrus flies in as the Mane 6 follow.

Upon entry, they watch Cirrus take out almost all the guards using Storm Cloud canisters, then flies down the mining shaft. Rainbow flies in after her while the Mane 6 take the pulley system.

At the bottom, Rainbow asks "Why did you join the Stallion Battalion?"

"Simple!" She takes out a lantern and points it to the imprisoned ponies mining rocks "Look who's down here." The Mane 6 look around in horror.

Rainbow Dash waves to Rainbow Blaze mining a rock "Hey uh... Dad." She backs away as Limestone Pie swings a pickaxe at her.

Pinkie Pie exclaims "Cheese Sandwich is here?!"

He exclaims "PIIIINKIE! It's not easy throwing a party down in a mine. Do you mind helping me and my little brother catch-up on parties, I missed twelve of them being stuck down here." He pats Streamer on the back who is in chains next to him.

Applejack points to Igneous Rock Pie prospecting a rock "How'd y'all end up down here?"

All the prisoners say at once "Oppression."

Except for Igneous who says "It is said Baltimare has the highest coal production in Equestria."

Cirrus hands Applejack a book "Baltimare has a strange definition for what constitutes as oppression. Read what it says here in Baltimare's law book."

Applejack reads "All stallions who sing, dance, talk, drink, fly, sit, explain, eat, or interact in anyway are to be arrested for OPPRESSION AND HATE CRIME AGAINST MARES, along with any pony that questions this law." She slams the book down "WHAT IN TARNATION!?"

Twilight grabs the book "Who would make such an absurd law? It's no wonder so many ponies are imprisoned down here!"

Cirrus explains "Fluffin Muffs. Dozens of ponies have demanded her to withdraw it but they were taken down here too."

Brazier adds "So we assembled the Stallion Battalion to take her down. It's easy to recruit ponies when their loved ones are imprisoned over a stupid rule."

"But... Princess Celestia said..."

Sturdy rolls his eyes and hands Twilight a letter which she reads "Celestia? The only thing she knows about Baltimare is what the Mayor's been sending her."

Twilight shows the letter to Applejack "Fluffin has been sending letters to Celestia claiming she was the victim. She sighs "But now I see you had good reasoning for what you've done." She looks at Rainbow Dash disappointed "We should have asked looked at both sides of the story."

Rainbow tells Limestone and Marble Pie "Eh heh, sorry about earlier."

Limestone growls but Marble just nods "Mmmph."

Rarity asks "Is there anything else we should do?"

Rain Drops points to the Mane 6's cutie-marks start glowing "By the looks of your cutie-marks, no. Why not tell Celestia what happened while we elect a proper mayor and get these ponies home?"

The Mane 6 approach Celestia in her castle "It looks like Baltimare is back on track."

Celestia nods "Thank you all, I have received far too many letters regarding..." They all frown which concerns Celestia "Is something wrong?"

Twilight explains "We spoke with members of the criminal organization... and it turns out they were the side we should of been on."

Pinkie adds "And they turned out to be really nice ponies"

"We kinda got in their way."

Celestia looks at them confused.

"It was actually the Mayor that was the problem, she made it illegal to be a stallion in Baltimare and has been imprisoning them by the dozens! Our friends Big Mac, Cheese Sandwich, Rainbow's Dad..."

Celestia asks worried "Why would somepony create such a law?"

Everypony looks at each other "I don't think we'll ever know."

Meanwhile Fluffins runs as far away as she can into no where "STALLIONS... STALLIONS OPPRESSING ME EVERYWHERE." She eventually leaves Equestria then takes a moment to breathe. "I'M FREE!" A large shadow with two horns approaches.
